| | Headmaster's Office
The first thing you notice when you step into the office is all the interesting do-hickeys. A lot of them are similar to the ones that had been in place when Cassandra Rae was headmistress but, there were a number of new ones as well. The most notable aspect of the space was the seemingly disorganized nature of it. Books, parchment, quills, ink, instruments, cauldrons, phials, and all number of items littered the shelves and any other flat surface available. You couldn't see the top of the desk and it was surprising that the seats were even available.
The headmaster is a tall, relatively young, wizard with unkempt robes and dirty plastic glasses. He looks more like the auror he'd been than the headmaster he's become, a big brother rather than an authority figure. He smiles as you walk in (assuming you got past the gargoyle, that is ). OOC: Any posts from those who do not go through the Gargoyle's Entrance and either know the password or escorted through will be deleted without warning or notice. |

Entering into Headmaster Pepe's office, Kapoor felt instantly at ease by the 'organized chaos' décor. He looked for a place to 'land' the rather large cauldron he carried and took a moment to catch his breath.
"Headmaster Bontecou, hello." He greeted in a friendly tone. "I'm sorry if I am interupting, but after what happened at the feast, I thought I'd better show you this!" He said, taking hold of the Cauldron again by its' handle. He thrusted it up and towards Bontecou, the contents making a SPLOSH-SLOSH! as they moved inside of it.
Kapoor eagerly waited for his response, forgetting entirely that the Headmaster was also the Potions Master. And, as such, Bontecou may not assume that the cauldron carried anything but a potion inside of it.

Myrtle had been a good girl, curled up quietly in the cauldron while the professorman carried her to the Headmaster.
And then he had to go and SHAKE her bloody pot, for Merlin's sake!
"Ow ouch owwwwie," Myrtle moaned, imagining how it must have hurt to bounce against the sides of cauldron were she able to actually feel things. "I'm a sensitive ghostie, you know!" she squeaked, deciding that she'd had enough of the cauldron.
Myrtle zoomed up out of the cauldron and went right through the headmaster's head since he chose that instant to peer inside it. She made a sharp floaty turn to double back and ogle at him.
"Oooh, you don't look like Dumbledore," Myrtle murmured, twirling one of her pigtails with a pale finger. She batted her eyelashes at the young Headmaster, thinking that any man with spectacles like that would have be sensitive to her cause.
"I like your glasses," she said in her sweetest, most innocent tone, floating up to his face for a closer look.

Kapoor put the cauldron back down when Myrtle took the initiative to project herself out of it's dark cast iron body. " And I couldn't agree with you more, Headmaster. The roast beef alone...!" He trailed off happily at the thought of it's deliciousness, before remembering what he was on about. " It's just...the ghosts. Apparently, there are more of them then we might've guessed." He wasn't entirely sure exactly what he expected Bontecou to do about it, but if nothing else, as headmaster, he probably should've been notified.

When the stairs finally reached their destination, Professor Shackleton stood outside the door of the Headmaster's office. She knocked firmly and waited on the doorstep, wondering what the Headmaster would think when he heard what she needed to tell him and show him. She wondered if he'd be amused by Peeves or if he'd banish him from the castle. Despite the fact that Peeves could be a bit rude and had an unhealthy appetite for havoc, Macadrian wasn't entirely sure she wanted to see him go. It had been a long time since the ghosts and the poltergeist had roamed the castle and Macadrian liked the historical feeling they brought with them.

"Thanks?" he said it as a question and then there was a knock on the door.
"Come in!" he called, all eyes for Myrtle. "You're Moaning Myrtle, aren't you?"

Hogwarts RPG Name: Sloane W. Fordyce First Year | Cheesy Mac Hearing the Headmaster call her into his office, Macadrian opened the office door to set her eyes upon a Professor Kapoor, Headmaster Bontecou, and a young female ghost in the room. She gasped softly at the sight of another new ghost and wondered what was going on. Did a new Headmaster have anything to do with the reappearance of the ghosts after so long? Or was it merely coincidental?
Stepping forward, she apologized, "I'm sorry to interrupt, Headmaster. Should I return at a later time?"

What a thing she must've walked in on! He looked behind Macadrian, inspecting what the thought was another voice. Moving towards the steps, he further poked and saw that two very alarmed looking Hufflepuffs were waiting, along with a Gryffindor and yet, still, another Huffie.
" Two at a time. If you ladies wouldn't mind, it looks like these two younger yeras have urgent business." He said, gesturing to the two hufflepuffs to come up first.

Had this been any other professor's office, Peeves would have torn in and trashed the place....or at least laid a whoopie cushion or two. However, the Headmaster was another story. Albus Dumbledore had always been eager to provide Peeves with a home, and he wasn't about the mess that up.
He simply floated behind the nosy professor, eagerly awaiting his meeting with the Headmaster.
Okay, so maybe he did have a whoopie cushion hidden on his person, and he planned to place it the second this guy stood up.

I got this letter today... She handed the letter to the Headmaster, the letter telling her that her parents had been murdered in Africa early that morning.

He smiled at the man's excitement to see Peeves. That was a good sign. "Would it be anyone else?" Peeves said playfully. He wanted SO badly to place that whoopee cushion.

"Come in!" he called, all eyes for Myrtle. "You're Moaning Myrtle, aren't you?" Myrtle batted her eyelashes at the Headmaster some more. She opened her round mouth to say something when AHEM, some bothersome students and another professor had to barge in. Oh nargles.
" Moaning Myrtle? MOANING Myrtle?" Myrtle started softly, her screechy voice crescendoing into one long wail. "I ttthought you were ssupposed to be nice! Moaning isn't a nice wword!"
She sobbed loudly, producing shiny tears on cue, and then floated over to the Headmaster's desk to hide behind it and sob loudly to herself. If that didn't get some attention she didn't know what would.
The door to Mr. Meanie Head's office opened and closed a few more times but Myrtle didn't care. She was good at ignoring students and besides, she was still waiting on someone to comfort her tears.
Then she heard him. Peeves. The Poltergeist. Her arch-enemy...er, well, the only ghost that could be more annoying and attention-stealing than Myrtle herself.
"Eww," she piped up, peeking up from behind the Headmaster's desk to stare at Peeves. "Who let you in?"

Landing on the corner of the desk of the Headmaster, the beautiful owl held out its leg with the parchment to the man with plastic glasses. ooc: I apologize for the lateness of my reply. "Yes, that would be fine," he smiled at the girl and waited for her to leave before collapsing into his chair. It wasn't too long before he decided to head downstairs again. Paperwork could always be put off.
.... he went downstairs and then came back up.... Headmaster Bontecou walked up the spiral staircase with the Hufflepuff student on his heels. He gestured to the comfy looking chair at his desk and then went behind it to flop into his own chair, propping his feet on the edge of the desk.
