Though before Dominic had the urge to move away from his spot of laying on his back, gazing up at the starry and magical ceiling of the Great Hall, two students had the audacity to embarrass him further. As if tripping wasn't bad enough. One of the students, the fifth year recognized him vaguely from London, but his name had blanked on him. Of course it was the student that remembered his name.

Not wanting to draw further attention to himself, the fourteen year old pulled himself into a long sitting position and nodded. "Oh yes, absolutely fine." Now for that bloody girl who got in his path ...

Oh for the love canaries! Did she have to start in with him!? "Clumsy? Heavy head?" he looked at her as though she had been drinking babbling beverage. "Hardly Ms Clumsy, but rather my shoelace got caught. And you just so happened to be in my line of fall." Dominic smirked lightly at her, as if that was that. He couldn't do anything wrong; it was totally not his fault that she just happened to be where he fell..

"Can somebody please pass me the gravy for the chicken."exclaimed Daniel. He looked around and saw that nobody had heard him due to the fact that they are busy admiring Mr. Zeke or were busy eating their hearts desire. He then tapped the elbow of a fifth year and requested, "Sir, can I please have some gravy?", he never noticed but it was Kyle.

"Err... good, I guess," Zeke said. He got the feeling Dominic was offended he'd asked... as if nobody had noticed him fall and practically die on Allie. Oh, well.

Lyra smiled as she began to twirl the end of her hair. No one had asked her what year she was in so far, but then again, no one was really interested in that at Diagon Alley it seemed. "Sixth year for me. I'm just arriving back to Hogwarts after being at Beauxbatons for two years."

Lyra noticed the boy was asking about a particular food and no one was passing nor paying attention to him. She stood up from the bench, reached in between two people for the gravy and then walked it down to the one who was asking for it. "Here you are," she said with a smile then turned back to her seat.

Kyle looked to see someone asking him for the gravy. He stopped eating ang looking around and handed the small boy some gravy and smiled. "Sorry about that didnt hear you its real loud in here." he gave the boy a smile and shrugged.

Ameera walked into the great hall after being sorted privately by one of the professors. How was Paris and Willow going to react to the fact that she had been sorted into Gryffindor and not SLYTHERIN? Sighing Ameera pushed her dark hair out of her face and went over to join her new house mates. As she arrived at the table she said cheerfully "Hello everyone!" before taking an empty seat. This was year that Ameera was going to look forward too since she had never before gone to school.

Zeke smiled. "Well, that's pretty cool. Did you like it there?"

"Hey," Zeke greeted the girl. "I'm Zeke."

"Hi," Hannah said with a smile to the girl who'd just walked up to the table. "I'm Hannah." She grinned.

Allie rolled her eyes. What was wrong with this boy? Honestly, she had never met anyone so self-centered in her life!ANd what was with that look he was giving her? Like she was crazy or something..she had every right to be angry. At least she had apologized last year, he's just trying to blame the whole thing on a shoe lace!
"Mmmmhhhmmm sure." she said, annoyed. "Well guess what? Tripping over your shoe-lace is called being clumsy and I think you owe me and apology!"

kyle laughed at Zeke as he said hey to yet another person. Too popular for his own good. He thought with a laugh

Lyra giggled as she went back to twirling her hair once more. "I did until my best friend, Agie and myself were kicked out for pulling a prank on a professor." She shrugged her shoulder as if it were nothing big. If it happened at Hogwarts, it would just be detention but French rules were more strict and harder for her to follow, at least being around Agie it was.

Looking over at the older who had just greeted her Ameera smiled saying "Nice to meet you, Zeke. I'm Ameera." Zeke was a very unusual name. But she wasn't going to ask him about that just yet.

Turning her attention to another girl who sat not too far away down the table she replied smiling "Nice, to meet you Hannah! I'm Ameera."

Zeke looked over at Kyle laughing. "Seriously! I have no idea how this happened!" he said with a hearty laugh.

"What kind of prank?" Zeke asked with a sly grin.

"Nice to meet you, too." Zeke said. The girl looked like this was probably her first year at Hogwarts, but she looked too old to be a first-year. "So did you transfer from somewhere?" he guessed.

"Nice to meet you, too. Ameera," Hannah repeated. "That's a nice name. I've never heard it before. It does make me think of Camira, though. She's pretty cool," Hannah added on. She wasn't sure if Ameera already knew Camira or not. She was sure they were bound to meet sometime, anyway.

"Thank you very much. I am Daniel by the way."Daniel smiled and bowed in grateful happiness. He was accustomed to bowing since his summer at Japan.

"Thank you. I cannot blame everyone for it is the first day of school. I am Daniel by the way."Daniel smiled and bowed like a gentleman.

"Hi Ameera. Welcome to Hogwarts. Hope you enjoy being one of us."Daniel smiled.

Kyle looked at the boy with awe. He truely had never met anyone like him. "Im.. um.. im Kyle." he said furrowing his eyebrow. "Sorry but did.." he shook his head pausig for a minute. "Did you just bow?" he asked surprsied. Noone had ever bowed to him before.

Dominic heard the boy reluctantly seem to agree with his being fine, but somehow had the feeling he wasn't entirely satisfied. Oh well, that wasn't exactly his problem, was it!? Eying the boy again, the hufflepuff nodded nonetheless to show some minimal appreciation. "Very good, actually."

Almost.

Turning back to look at the smaller Gryffindor girl, Dominic narrowed his eyes slightly at her expressions. She seemed angry, but for the life of him couldn't understand why! Females - why did they have to be SOOO hard to read!? Couldn't they just be like males and blurt out whatever was on their mind? Not that he did that, but well, most males. Yes.

Dominic sighed though, when she replied seemingly annoyed at him and then proceeded to tell HIM what to do. As if! No one ever told Dom what to do. Ever. "Not quite. At least with my tripping, I had a reason for it, unlike just pure clumsiness as you have been cursed with," he informed her crossly. Folding his arms, he then just shook his head, "Apology? And who will know whether I did or didn't?" Smirk. It was true though; no one would really know except her and him. And he for one was NOT apologizing.

Zeke looked on with a smile as Kyle was astonished by the bowing boy. "I'm Zeke," he said to the kid with a small wave. He didn't think he'd introduced himself already to him.

Shifting in her seat Ameera turned to Zeke responding in a soft tone. "No, i'm not a transfer. I've been homeschooled for the past two years. But this year my parents decided that i should go and get a proper education." Looking him over she wondered if he was younger, the same age or older then hert.

Sucking in the nice compliment Ameera beamed at Hannah saying "Thank you. It's an african name." Camira???? Giving the other girl a very confused look she asked "Camira? Who is that? I've never heard of her." And Ameera pronounced her name Amiira not Camira.

As another boy poked for her attention Ameera looked over at him saying "Thank you. And i hope i'll enjoy being in Gryffindor too." Not knowing his name Ameera asked "Sorry, i didn't catch your name. You are?"

Hearing Zeke again. Kyle looked over at him. "Excuse me sir.' he said jokingly. "But I think he was talking to me not you. Your already too popular." he said laughing

Anna eyed the young, quiet boy once again. He still hadn't given her his name. Did he not like her or something? Anna fidgeted in her seat, not sure what else to say to the boy. Maybe he just prefered to be quiet or something. That had to be it. Not wanting to bother him any longer, Anna just sat and quietly finished her roll and pumpkin juice.

Anna giggled a bit when Cale dropped his forkful of green beans. Oops. She'd only intended to get him to look her way, not drop all of his food. No doubt he'd be a little annoyed with her now. Oh, well. He loved her. He'd get over it. "Okay, okay! Sorry! I didn't notice that Reese had also thrown one at you. I just wanted to get your attention, and, well, I guess it now," she said.

Anna raised her eyebrows when Cale warned her about house points. She smirked and leaned closer to him. "Not if I don't give them any...real reason to dock points," she said, pulling a quill out of her robes. She held the point of it up to Cale and then forcefully stuck it into the house table. "Soooo...care to leave your mark on this table right alongside mine and Paul Kutcher's?" she asked. As she spoke, Anna began to carve, "Anna Bella Greingoth" into the table, right next to Paul Kutcher's name.

"I know, I know," Anna said. "I don't think I've gotten used to it yet. Cale keeps talking about jobs and the working world, and quite frankly, that just scares me! I don't want to have a job right now!" Anna had always imagined herself to be too young to work all day and have to earn a living. She couldn't believe in just one short year she'd be expected to do just that.

"You're welcome," Anna politely replied, wiping the last of the spilled pumpkin juice off the table. Anna frowned as Whitney mentioned a funeral. Should she ask any questions about that, or would that be considered too personal of a question? Decided that Whitney wasn't the type to take things like that too personal, Anna decided to ask. "Funeral? Who's funeral, Whitney?" Anna asked. She didn't answer the question about her own summer. She wanted to hear about the funeral first.

Anna giggled at Lyra's enthusiasm. Nothing like trouble to get Lyra Noir interested! "Okay, so there's this new boy---a Ravenclaw---named Copernicus. He's really nice and polite. He's a ton of fun to be around, too," Anna explained. "Anyway, Copernicus, Chris Potter, and I licked Jelly Slugs and threw them against the walls of the train to make them stick. As of right now, they're probably still stuck there. We all agreed to blame Dominic Denton if we were questioned." Anna decided not to say anything else about Lyra and Dominic. She seemed to get a little upset when that was brought up, and she did have a boyfriend. It was still a little fun to joke, though.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Anna exclaimed, bursting out into a fit of giggles. "If I hear anymore talk of it, I'll set the record straight. You won't hear anymore from me on the matter. I'm staying quiet!" To prove her point, Anna stuffed a good portion of a roll into her mouth.

"I'm sorry if that bothers you. I am just became accustomed to bowing since my summer at Japan. I am very sorry. Nice to meet you though."Daniel have acted as if will bow again but he stopped himself and smiled.

Daniel can't believe the most popular guy in school was talking to a kid of his age. "I am Daniel a third year. Do you think there's an opening at the Quidditch team this year? I am looking forward to be in."he added.

Kyle shook his head at the boy. "No you misread me. Im just not accustmed to people bowing." he said giving the boy a smile.

Zeke acted mock-offended. "Well, excuuuuuuuuse me for trying to make more friends!" he joked. "You just wish you were as popular as me," he said in a false-snobby tone. Then he had to burst out laughing at himself. "I so can't act like that in seriousness," he said.

"Nice to meet you, Daniel. I actually don't know about the Quidditch team. I probably should..." he trailed off. "Anyway. You should find a prefect or something and ask," he said, hoping he was being helpful.

"Oh, really? What a coincidence. I was actually homeschooled for the past few years, too. I'm a fifth-year this year. How about you?" he asked.

"Oh." said Daniel in shame. "I am Daniel by the way"he smiled and extended his hand to shake Ameera's.

"It was fine. I have got that same reactions from the train also."Daniel smiled and stretched his hand to shake Kyle's. "Nice to meet you."
