'Wow.' She couldn't believe he'd actually done it,then again she could. It was Zeke they were talking about. Whitney being her dorky self,she found it way too funny and while laughing she leaned back and fell off of her seat. So,technically,she was "rolling" on the floor laughing. "WOW!" was all she could get out while trying to calm down. "It's scary how accurate you were." Now he was exactly like Goofy. That would be her nickname for him; she really did love giving out nicknames. She wasn't going to tell him though,next time she would see him in the corridors she'd simply yell it out and see his reaction. It was perfect. With a smirk on her face she said, "It's odd how you're a Pureblood but know so much about muggles." Whitney had been wondering for a while how in the world Zeke knew about the muggle world,of course she knew because she was a half-blood but it was very rare for a Pureblood to know that much.
"Well that just isn't good. But see my guy is necessary,as is yours." She replied nodding. "Without them we'll never ever see each other. Which is just dreadful. Which means Zeke needs to get rid of his guy." That was the only thing that could possibly work. "There's that,or you just stay paranoid." But that wasn't fair to her,he'd have to fire his guy. "I know,and clear things up about that,maybe it'll help him?" She really had no idea if it'd help him in anyway; just as long as it didn't make him worse. It was like she was reading Hannah's mind. 'Why are we talking about Zeke so much? Subject change!" Whitney couldn't even remember how in the world they'd started talking about him. "Back to you. What did you do during the break?"

Daniel can't help but overhear the conversation of the three. "So what was that about that Goofy character? Is he in the Prophet?"asked Daniel who is very oblivious of the topic.

"Yeah you're right we are to beat the others.''he whispered to Zeke.

Zeke grinned. When Whitney fell off her seat, he could hardly contain himself laughing. It was probably the funniest thing he'd seen in... ever. "Goofy. Definite possibilities for a nickname, I think..." he said with a smile. He had a feeling she'd probably start calling him that at some point or another; might as well beat her to the punch. "Yeah, I guess it probably is weird," he said. "I've just got a lot of Muggle friends. I guess after growing up in a wizarding family and stuff, I just got curious, so I went out and made some friends at school. They obviously don't know about the whole wizard thing, but you know."

Zeke laughed. "He's a Muggle cartoon character. I wish I could draw, I'd show you what he looks like, but I can't," he said with a smile.

"True, true. Zeke will just have to un-hire his guy. Geez, we're making it sound like he's actually hired someone!" Hannah said, laughing. "I think we're talking about him 'cause you liiiiiiiike him," Hannah said jokingly. "No, I'm just kidding. Hmm... Over break I pretty much did... nothing. Zip. Nada. Zilch. Stayed at home the whole time," she said. "Mostly I just caught up with my Muggle friends. How about you?"

"Can you show me at the common room? I have this quill that draws anything that you have described."asked Daniel

"Yeah, no problem," Zeke said. "As soon as I see you in there, totally."

"Thank you very much!"said Daniel taking a bit bite out of the chicken leg he is holding.

"Sure, dude." Zeke said with a smile. "Make any new friends yet?" he asked the younger boy. He felt like it was partly his job as an older student to help the younger ones be happy.

"Quite a bit. Aside from Hannah, I had quite a handful."said Daniel as he looks around to count the new people he had encountered.

"Good, I'm glad," Zeke said with a nod. "You're a third-year, right? Have you gone to Hogwarts this whole time?"

"Yeah, I am a bit of a loner then though, but I am trying to change and try to mingle every once in a while."explained Daniel. he presumed that Zeke was wondering why he hasn't seen him before.

Not wanting to get up from the floor she sat there for a minute and listened to Zeke. "Okay,that's not normal. You so stole my idea!" Well that was no fair,now she wouldn't be able to scare him;she'd just have to add to that or give him a new one. "Thank you." she mumbled to herself as she got up and cleaned herself off. Surprisingly the floor was rather comfortable. "You really are one weird boy, Mr.Weasley." she replied. Then again,what with him being a Weasley,it was rather understandable. They did have a reputation for studying muggle things. "Of course and I do. It was horrible not being able to tell my friends that I was a witch,but they figured my parents were just being mean and sent me off to boarding school." Laughing a bit she recalled the day her friends had pleaded her father not to make her go; obviously it didn't work. [b]"I miss them,but Hogwarts and all of my new friends have really made up for it.

Then she heard a boy start talking about Goofy and a prophet. She was lost until she heard about drawing. "I can draw!" she pulled out a piece of parchment and her quill and began drawing an accurate picture of Goofy. [b]"There ya go."[b] Then she realized she didn't know the boy, "Hello,I'm Whitney." she added with a huge smile.
"You never know with him,now do you?" she replied with a small giggle. What if he really had hired someone? 'Freaky!' Suddenly Hannah was pretty much yelling that she liked Zeke. "Umm.....erm......uhh...." Once again Whitney had turned a bright red,only this time it was all over. 'Oh great.' As far as she knew,Zeke was only her friend,nothing more. "Very funny. Not that I do,but if I did it wouldn't matter because Amanda is like my best friend. I could never do that. We've fought over this before." The last bit she'd said wasn't meant to come out. Now she really was going to think that she liked Zeke. "Well,aside from the....erm...zilch? At least you go to see old friends right?" Then it was her turn to answer. "Nothing,funeral,friends,home,read,movies and Diagon Alley." she said faster then she'd meant. Maybe Hannah hadn't heard it.

Daniel was so mystified by the drawing. He had never seen a dog that was so deranged like this. "So, what type of dog was this? Is he alright? He looks like someone that is cursed."commented Daniel, though he is really clueless of the dog's picture. "I am Daniel by the way. Nice to meet you Whitney."said Daniel with a smile

"Oh, gotcha. Well, you should hang out with all of us Gryffies. Mingling is a good thing. Live it up while you're here!" Zeke said with a smile.

Zeke laughed. He had stolen her idea. He'd won... for now. () "A weird boy, huh? Well what does that say about you, hanging out with us weird folk?" he teased. "I think that's what my friends think, too. Maybe that's why they never bring it up to me. Don't want to dredge up painful memories or something," he laughed.

"Nope, you never do," Hannah said with a laugh. "Fought over it before, hmm?" she said with a raised eyebrow. "Well, it's technically none of my business - except for it actually is since Zeke is my brother - but I personally would approve if he started going out with you." she said with a nod. "At least then I know I'd like his girlfriend." she smiled. "I think he might like you, to be honest. The fact that you're best friends with Amanda is probably why he has a hard time admitting it." she said thoughtfully.
"Sounds like my summer," she said in response. "Reading, movies, Diagon Alley... wait, did you say funeral?" Hannah asked, concerned for her friend. Who'd died? What happened?

Daniel chuckled at Whitney's comment to Zeke. "I'm sorry. Yes that is what I am planning to do because being a loner sucks."said Daniel smiling

"Good," Zeke said with a smile. "Well, you're always welcome to hang out with me, of course."

It was getting late and Nathaniel had eaten his fill off food. He was ready to go to sleep. He wondered when the Feast would be over. All he wanted to do was go to sleep. Nobody at his table was talking to him. He couldn't wait to crawl into his bed and sleep. All of a sudden Jetlag got the best of Nathaniel and he fell asleep right at the table.

Daniel's eyes widened with joy. "Thank you very much. So..."Daniel's tone become hesitant. "Can I call you big brother then? I am this only child and haven't had anyone to call my sibling."asked Daniel.

"No problem, man." Zeke said. He grinned. "Sure you can! I've got 6 younger siblings, so I'm totally used to being the big brother," he said with a smile. This kid was awesome.

"Cool, that was totally awesome. Thanks!"Daniel almost jumped from his seat to shake Zeke's hands.

Even though she felt bad for doing it,Whitney couldn't help but laugh. She'd never heard such questions asked about Goofy. "No,nothing's wrong with him. He's a children's cartoon muggle character. He also had a son names Max." Now she was really laughing; it was vague but she could remember having a crush on Max. "It was simply made to amuse toddlers,but teens and I'm sure adults have learned to love him. He looks that way to be funny." Or at least that's pretty much what she thought. "It's great to meet you Daniel. I'm assuming you are a Pureblood?" she asked glancing at Zeke. That was proof of his oddness.
Now he was trying to sound American? "Um,folk? If you mean you,then I am simply a very nice person." she said feeling that hadn't explained anything. "I only hang out with you-" and she stopped speaking. What she was about to say was just to mean and she wasn't going to say it. "I am a person who loves her spazzy Gryffies." Correcting herself she looked at her hands acting as though she wasn't going to say anything before that. Two peas in a pod. " I find it funny really,cause my dad was the nicest man ever. If anyone was going to send me off it'd be my mother but even then,she wouldn't.Sometimes people don't think." True,her mother could be mean but wouldn't never do such a thing...as far as she knew.

"Not like that,I simply made a small comment and she took it the wrong way." Was that really how it'd happened? 'No.' "I wouldn't mind telling you,I mean you're Hannah,but...I'm not sure how much Amanda would mind." Just as the red was leaving her,it quickly came back. 'Started going out with me?' Whitney was extremely shocked and didn't know what to say to that. It was Zeke,she'd never thought about him that way. "Uuuuuummmmm, thank you?" Not the smartest answer but what was new? "I don't control any of that,plus he has tons of other girls."

'Oh dear.' She'd caught that little part. "You were in Diagon Alley too? I hadn't seen you." she said quickly before answering the question. "Yeeeaaaah,last term,my father passed away." For some reason it was different with Hannah. She wasn't thinking about that usual look she'd normally get from everyone else.

" I am very delighted to meet you too Whitney. Yes, I am. It sounds cool that muggle children loves this sort of people. I wish the Wizarding world have this sort of stuff. All we have are this boring newspapers and odd books that if not bit you, will do something else."Daniel blushed and smiled at Whitney.

"No problem, dude," Zeke said with a smile.

"Ouch," Zeke said with a laugh. "Taking pity on the poor freaky people," he joked. "Well, if I was your parent, A) that would be very strange, and B) I wouldn't send you away," he joked. "Unless it was to Hogwarts. To meet... me? But wait, I'm your parent in this situation. So... what?" He said, confusing himself more and more as he talked.

Smiling politely she nodded as Daniel spoke. "Well it's not all boring just most of it." she replied and giggled a bit. "You should do a Zeke, talk to the muggle kids,and act like one. Sometimes be a muggle is funner,only you don't have magic." That had to be the only bad thing. "If you want, I'm like a pack rat,which sounds gross,and I have tons of my old Childrens books. Same as the shows,and they have Goofy and tons of other characters." She added then saw him blush. Normally she'd say something about it,but seeing as she'd just met him she kept quiet and pretended as though she hadn't seen a thing.
"Now you know how I felt when I hit that floor." she said laughing and pointing towards the floor;which she just so happened to find rather comfortable after the pain had gone away. "Exactly,but since I got the letter,I wasn't forced and now-" she said not waiting for him to finish,until she realized he was too busy trying to figure out what he was saying. "Again?" she asked rather sarcastically with her head tilted to it's side. "Basically you are trying to say what I just stated and adding that I was sent to meet you." 'Whoa' That had actually scared her a bit. She'd been around Zeke so long that she could actually understand what he was saying even when he couldn't understand himself.
