Lyra's ears perked up as she punched Agie. "Crank it up?" Her green eyes danced towards Banana with yet another sly smile. "What do we need to crank up?" This was an interesting topic and talk about mumbo jumbo. What a wacky term this was becoming and so many students! Weeeeeeeeeee! This was GREAT!

Agie raised her eyebrow at the weird kid who just called out his name. Would he like a medal or something? Seriously!

She stood up on the table and eyed Lyra, for punching her. "I've already cranked it up!" She smirked, jumping off the table on on to the floor next to Lyra. "Feel like a welcome home ride through the school?" She snickered. "We can get our brooms later. I was just telling the new students about how much we like eating people." Agie laughed, looking over at the kids hiding behind Anna. She leaned in and whispered to Lyra, "They think I'm a cannibal."

After catching up with everyone at the Hufflepuff table, Curt trudge over to the Gryffie’s to catch up with some of his friends over there. Maybe Dusty had found his seat already? As he made his approach, the first people to come to sight were Agie, Anna, and Lyra; the latter of the two going on about cranking something up. He shook his head and laughed, approaching the group.

“Crank it up? That’s what I do best.” Especially in Quidditch…. Curt smiled at the thought, he couldn’t wait to get back on the pitch. Turning to Lyra, Curt gave her a small side grin, “So Lyra, how does it feel to be back?” He said with a small, yet amused frown, as his eyes fell upon that Agie Brandywine and a younger student who she was probably terrorizing.

Lyra scrunched her nose. "Ewwww! They think you eat cannon balls?" That would just be...hard. "Well, you go off like a cannon ball sometimes. Does that count?" Lyra's hand flew up to her mouth as she began to giggle. OH.MY.GOSH.

"Flying? We get to fly the halls again!" Oh it was fun being bad and she needed her new broom. She needed to get with Paris and soon to find out when it was coming.

She heard her name once more and looked up. "Oy! Hiya Curt," she said with excitement and a smile on her face. "It feels...wonderful! And I even think that this year I will sit at the Hufflepuff table at some point or another. I haven't made my way over there as of yet but...I will.

"And how are you this wonderful yet strange Hogwarts day?"

"Lyra! Agie! Curt!," Anna scolded. She frowned at them and then continued buttering her dinner roll. "That's a new Gryffindor, for Merlin's sake. Their probably a bit on the nervous side, wouldn't you agree? Can you three remember when you were new? Weren't you just a bit scared?" Knowing Lyra and Agie, their answer would probably be no, though. She didn't know the two of them when they were first years, but she imagined that they were the type who hit the floor running on their very first day. They may have even gotten into a bit of trouble on their first day, too. "Nevermind. Don't answer that," Anna added.

Seeing that she had, by now, well-buttered her roll, Anna put her knife down and began to eat. The Gryffindor who'd introduced themselves earlier still hadn't spoken up. Maybe they were nervous? Just in case, Anna smiled once again. She felt a bit sorry for the shy, new first years. "Fly the halls?" Anna questioned, eyeing Lyra suspiciously. "You're not...actually planning on doing that, are you?" Sheesh. Those two were going to give Anna heart failure this school year.

Agie giggled like woah at Lyra. "Noo silly. Cannibal means someone who eats humans. Not cannon balls. That's just gross...and impossible!" She giggled, looking up to see another boy approach them.

She turned back to Lyra and smirked at Anna's reaction. "On my first day I got into a fight with the Slytherin 6th year prefect." Agie snickered, she was exactly the same. "And of course we are going to be flying the halls. It's an Agie and Lyra thing. We do it all the time." She giggled, oh how fun it is.

Now her eyes landed back on the Hufflepuff boy when she heard him speak to Lyra. How did they know each other. He was looking at her, and that was when Agie recognised him. Curt, Hufflepuff Quidditch player. That seemed to be all she knew about him.

Curt laughed as Lyra responded, she really did seem to be in a great mood. Very bubbly today, very. “You’re actually going to sit at your own house’s table?” He said with an expression of mock-shock. “Good.” He added, with a tone of seriousness and a grin. “Get your friends to come with you,” he said with a nod in the direction of Agie and Anna, “it can get boring over there at the Hufflepuff table.” He admitted, last year he had eaten alone a number of times when Vannah was off studying or doing various other things.

“Me?” He responded, looking to the ceiling as he figured how he could sum up his die. “I’m good, tired though. Me and my brother stayed up all nigh playing exploding snap.” He said with a shrug, he loved that game almost as much as Quidditch, well not really, but kinda.

Then, someone yelled his name from behind. It was a recognizable name, and he turned around to see Anna looking at him, and the other two girls a bit crossly. He didn’t do anything! Curt just shook his head slightly and through up his hands up as if it say ‘I surrender’. “I just got here!” He said to his defense, “But it’s nice to see you too Anna.” He said a bit jokingly with a nod, “Weird having the ghosts back, eh?”

Turning to Agie officially, Curt gave her a small smile. "I don't think we've ever officially met." He said, with a bit of a nod. "I'm Curt, Hufflepuff Quidditch player. We've played each other a few times, I believe." He finished, knowing good and well that she was a talented Seeker. Definitely going to be a huge asset to the Gryffindor Quidditch team if she played.

First of all, Anna seemed to be on a almighty high horse bit with the yelling. What did she do...other than a few things here and there. "You were the one that said 'Crank it up' and I was following you," she rolled her eyes with a huff as Banana asked yet another question then said not to answer it. Lyra snickered as Anna seemed to know them quite well, but not well enough. Thing was, Lyra was quiet when she first arrived at Hogwarts and it wasn't until she met Christian and Agie when she began to open up.

And then Lyra looked to Agie when she explained what cannibal was. Oh she knew that! "Ohhhhhhhhhhh," she said with a blank stare for a moment then grinned. "We have flown the halls of Hogwarts many of times which is why I was looking for a new broom." Her eyes became shifty with a smirk on her face. "I wanted one that would take to corners quite well."

"I know, it's a shocker," Lyra snickered as she immediately turned to Curt when he laughed at her sitting at her own house table. "I am even shocking myself this year. I just can't believe how happy I am to be back. Never thought I would ever say that....It's good to be home."

"No, I don't believe we have." She said, looking back at Curt with a sly grin. "I'm Agie Brandywine. Old Gryffindor seeker and Quidditch Captain." She added. "I do remember playing you." He was good too and Agie hadn't thought about Quidditch this much in ages. She missed it. "Are you still playing?"

She laughed at Lyra's obvious blonde moment and just shook her head and then Lyra said something that made her gasp. "You bought a BROOM?" She asked excitedly. Oh this was just perfect. "Did you get a fast one? You still have to keep up with me, ya know?"

Lizzie's eyes widened as she suddenly spotted Shaylee at the table, and with a wide grin she called out Shaylee!! Hi girl I missed you how are you? as she gave her friend a bright smile.

Lizzie glanced at the ghost Chris spoke to and smiled. It was the famous Nick.

Watching a few first years at the end of the table she gave one of the girls a friendly smile. Hi, are you a new Gryffie? she asked and added I'm Lizzie Evans, welcome to Hogwarts.

Lyra grinned proudly when Agie asked about her broom. "I did," she began with a slight giggle. "Well, I surely couldn't borrow Kerry's broom so I had to get my own. And yes I got a fast one and I will certainly smoke your bum." Now that deserved a goood bit of laughter.

Sarah heard two sixth years talking, "Are you talking about Quidditch?! I really DO love flying." she said to the two sixth years called Agie & Lyra.

Hi there Lizzie! Good to meet you. I'm Sarah Granger.

Elizabeth was way too late, and tried to find a place at the table. She blushed when she saw that some people were looking at her. Finally she found a place and sat down.

Ameera knew that it was inevitable that words of what Paris had done in Diagon ally would come out. Not knowing how much Hannah knew she asked curiously "How much did you hear about Paris deeds?"

Ameera was prepared for a lot of things but not for meeting a ghost. As the transparent figure grew nearer her eyes grew even wider. The shouting of the last words was what made her almost faint. Gasping for breath and feeing queezy she wondered why that ghost had to come to her table. Ameera put her head in her hands trying to calm her racing thoughts and nausea. After a while she looked wearily up at the gryffindor ghost asking "Sir, mister ghost sir. How did you become a ghost?" And then Ameera closed her eyes and put her head in her hands again. Looking at the ghost for too long wasn't an option.

Via watched Anna and the new students talk. Now she knew their names, Agie and Lyra and then there's the man named Curt. She was still afraid to go near them. She just stayed where she had hidden. Luckily there's a vacant seat so she took her place. Suddenly, she noticed nearly headless nick floating at the gryffindor table. She was used seeing him around as she was already used with Peeves, the poltergeist. She heard a student ask how did Nick became a ghost. I've read the story somewhere, she thought.

"Mind if i sit here?" Via asked the girl. She was glad she didn't freak out on being frightened by a cannibal if that was really true. It just felt so real.

Agie missed her sister, so she tried not to think about it when Lyra mentioned her and tried to keep a smile. "You're going to smoke my bum?" She smirked. "Please, Lyra. Keep dreaming!" She laughed. "Did you get a pink broom?"

Agie turned to see someone interrupting their conversation, not to mention eavesdropping. How rude! She did however mention Quidditch. "We were talking about flying. My friend here thinks she will actually be faster. HA!" She said, looking back at Lyra smirking. "No one can beat me." She winked. "Are you going to try out for Quidditch?"

Via just spotted a girl interrupt the conversation between Agie, Lyra and the others. She watched closely what will happen with the girl next, perhaps she'll be hiding too. That was just funny and scary. She smiled as she remembered it.
She was starving so she busied herself with food and munched on.

Raising her head Ameera placed her hands in her lap before looking up at the girl saying "Be my guest. I don't think the seat is taken by anyone." Composing herslef a little she straightened herslef up in her seat before turning to the girl giving her a kind smile asking "Do you know if its common for the ghosts to participate in the feast?" Extending a hand she added "And by the way i'm Ameera."

Chalice hugged Chris back. "Hi Chris!" she giggled at how anxious he seemed to see her. "I'm fantastic thanks. How are you? How was your break?Um... squeezing too hard, can't breathe. Lizzie are you okay?" she relayed as her friend seemed shocked.

Via was glad the girl wasn't a cannibal or anything that would frighten her again. OH, she should keep her mind off that. "thank you," Via said as she remembered they weren't still supposed to eat so she stopped herself. But she was already starving.

She smiled at her, "Ameera, you say," she said, "Nice name. I'm Vivianne." She shook her hand. "Ghosts?" she asked. She thought for a moment and then replied, "I guess, it's just fine with the ghosts here at Hogwarts. They're a part of the hogwarts community so why not?" She just think about it again, "It wasn't unusual seeing them around as they have been a part of this school. But with muggles that would be kinda frightening." Yeah, like being eaten by a cannibal.

"Hi Via. How was your break and how are you?"

Lizzie gave the girl a friendly smile and said Nice to meet you too. So, are you excited about starting school?

Lizzie laughed as Chalice stared at her. I'm perfectly fine Chalice she assured her friend. I was just a bit chocked by the sudden appearance and all since I guess I was kinda zoomed off and busy with my own thoughts. she said with a smile.

Via turned her head and saw it was Chalice, "Chalice," Via said, "It was great." Yeah it really was as she finally met her real family and it was nice to have a sister. She wanted to have one really.

"Well, I'm quite used to being late. I used to be late all the time, but I told myself that I'd make a fresh start when I came here, and that included trying to get everywhere on time. I imagine it's going to be pretty difficult, though," James added.

"Well, thank you! There, I can give you my book, and you can help me organize. It's a deal. I've got to tell you, though, that helping me become organized is going to be a big job. It might even take the whole year!" James said, looking very serious for a moment, and then breaking out into a big grin. He could tell this was going to be a great year.

"Okay cool. I thought you had a heartattack or something." Chalice said. "You up for a party at Hogsmeade soon? How 'bout you Chris?" Chalice said to two of her best friends. She turned to Via. "I'm glad your vacation was good."
