Walking up to the dorm, Liz finds her trunk, and sinks down onto her bed. "mmmm" she says finally starting to relax. Opening her trunk, she takes out some pj's and a brush. "I'll just unpack in the morning I think."

Pulling on her pajamas, she gives a yawn, and climbs under the covers. Sitting she starts brushing her hair.

Livvy walked in, yawning with her book tucked under her arm. "Hey Liz," she said, with a large grin. It'd been forever since she had seen her. She quickly changed into her pajamas and sat down on a bed nearby to Liz's.

Marina climbed the stairs and entered the dormitory. She recognized her trunk standing in front of one of the beds. -So that had to be hers. She sat down onto it and looked around the room.

Livvy smiled at the first year that came in. "Hi Marina," she said, trying to be freindly. She pulled her hair out of her ponytail and combed it so it wouldn't be all poofy. Livvy hated poofy hair. It was wierd. Especially afros. Plain old wierd. "So... what do you think of Hogwarts so far? Is it too early to say?"

" It's too early to say! ...Uhm the food at the feast was amazing!"

Livvy chuckled. "That's what I thought. But you'll love it pretty soon. Especially when you've gone out to explore," she said, winking at Marina. "Yes. The food was really amazing! The house-elves never do stop amazing me."

Becca made her way into the Girls Dormitory and headed for her usual bed, strutting right on by the students already present. She got down on her knees and popped open her trunk. The moment the lid opened, a few random clothing items spilled out onto the floor. "Aw shoot." But hey, that was to be expected with a girl, right? Except in this case, Becca had all the stuff a girl needed PLUS her alto saxophone case in the trunk. How she managed to get all of it in? That was a mystery, even to herself. She had to stuff some random socks in the instrument case to get everything to fit. It was a terribly tight packing job... but it worked, somehow.

She dug out the case from under all the clothes and set it on her bed, then replaced all the excess clothes back in the trunk. "Okay," she spoke quietly to herself, "now that this is out of there, maybe I'll be able to find some things." This was the first term she had finally just given in and brought her sax to school. The past two terms, Becca had simply left it at home, but found that every time she went home for break - it took her a few days to get used to playing again.

So, this term, she was going to have the upper hand for summer jazz band compared to the previous years. Practicing at school wouldn't be a bad thing, right? Surely no one would mind - especially with how good she was. If anything, her fellow students would have to be grateful that someone will be providing for some good entertainment.

Now opening her instrument case, Becca pulled out the saxophone and smiled down at her reflection in the polished brass. She ran her fingers up and down the keys; excitement built in her chest. "I really want to play you right now," she sighed, then glanced at the other students present. In the corner of her eye, she caught sight of the window. There was her owl, pecking at the window, wanting an invitation inside. She set her saxophone down on the bed in a hurry.

"No name!" Becca scurried over to the window and opened it, letting her nameless Scops owl spread its wings and fly into the room, landing on her extended arm gently. "Did you find Miss Professor Lainey?" she asked, half expecting the owl to form words and reply. Then, she noticed the note attached to his leg. "AHA!"

Becca speedily untied the note from her owl's leg. A worried thought that it might have gotten to the wrong person crossed her mind, but when she opened the note, she grinned down at the woman's handwriting. She read, her expression changing with every line, and she burst into laughter. "I am NOT waiting until I'm twenty-two," she muttered stubbornly, using the joking tone she always did when talking to Lainey in person.

And then... she came to the second numbered paragraph of the note. A relieved grin spread across her face at the first half, where Lainey stated that she missed everyone. When she read the last part of the second sentence, her eyes widened to the size of golf balls and her mouth hung open. "Ohhh professor you better mean that," she smirked. What a big let down it would be if Lainey got her hopes up for nothing. She would be INCREDIBLY mad.

As she finished the note, she let out a loud Hmmm, as if pondering something very important. She had NO idea about the condition of the History of Magic office. That... was actually a good idea. To go investigate. That would provide for some extremely fantastic entertainment. And plus, Becca needed to interrogate the new professor who probably thought he was better than Lainey anyway.

Becca folded the note up and pocketed in her robes as she made a quick dash for her saxophone. She replaced it in its case and snapped it shut, carefully sliding it under her bed. "I'll be back for you later. We'll have some hardcore bonding time," she promised the instrument. She knew her owl would be fine, so she let it do what it wanted. The window was still open in case he decided to depart. And with that, she headed down the stairs to start on her epic adventure to the First Floor.

Ah... Rian sighed as she walked up to the dormitory. Another year at Hogwarts had officially started. She smiled at the other girls already in the dorm, and found her bed. It was close by Livvy's, Liz's, and hopefully Jenn's.

Rian checked to make sure her pet carrier had made it up safely, and was satisfied to see that it had. She set down her cat bed and put a soft blanket in the carrier for her crup, then shoved both beds underneath her own. Next she place a tiny basket on her nightstand, in which her pygmy puff would sleep.

She smiled to herself as she started unpacking the numerous decorations she always had. The pictures her father had painted of her and Sneeze, her and Jenn, Lily, and all of her friends. Then she pulled the grasshopper, butterfly, and flower out, setting them on her nightstand too.

Lastly, she pulled out a bag of chocolate frogs and set them within reach on her floor, between the nightstand and her bedpost. "There," she murmured, satisfied. She changed quickly into her pajamas and crawled into bed, not ready to sleep, but ready to relax.

Looking up from her brushing she sees Livvy sit down on a bed near her. "Hey Livvy!" she greets her with a smile. "How was your summer?"

"Ummm, were you planning on calling Copernicus Pernipants..." Liz asks with a giggle. "I was hoping you were kidding!"

"I was wondering where you guys ran off to, Rian!" Liz says when she sees Rian. "I was waiting for you in the common room, and gave up."

Livvy grinned. "It was great! How was yours?" she asked. She crossed her legs and pulled the blanket farther on top of her. She was FREEZING! It wasn't funny. Livvy was cold... in fact she was cold all the time. Huh. Wierd.

Livvy laughed. "Oh... I don't know... I kinda wanna see what his reaction will be."

Laughing Liz says "I'm sure that will get a reaction!"

"Mmm, well it could have been better..." Liz says quietly.

Rian looked over to Liz again and smiled. "Oh, I didn't even stop in the Common Room. I wanted to get up here too bad," she said with a small laugh. "I like to decorate before I go to sleep...ya know?" she asked, motioning to the things she just added around her bed.

"And, of course, I had to check on Lola, Cali, and Craizer," she added with a shrug. She caught what Liz asked Livvy, about calling Copernicus Pernipants. She giggled, and politely (well, at least she hoped it was politely) entered they're conversation. "I wouldn't call him that," she said, giggling again. "Mouth sounded pretty sincere when he said that he wouldn't even call him that." Rian's eyes widened and she nodded her head for effect.

"I guess we also have to figure out nicknames...Now that could be fun!" Liz giggles again.

Livvy tilted her head. "Why how horrible was it?" she asked, quietly. Then she laughed. "Ha ha. You're probably right."

"Oh... hey Rian!" Livvy said, with a large grin. She almost didn't see the girl there. "Who's Mouth?" she asked, confused and shrugged. Livvy grinned. "I don't know.. but I just wanna see what his reaction would be. But I'm calling Plymouth Plymm and as for Copernicus.. we shall see.."

Rian laughed and nodded to Liz. "I know, it should be way fun. Copernicus' name should be sort of easy...I mean, it's long, with lots of syllables." she laughed. "I think I'll call Plymouth 'Mouth' though," she said with a shrug. "unless we think of something better."

Then she sighed dramatically. "It's a shame that he doesn't want to be called Plym." she said, a grin threatening to come on her face. "Although, I might just call him that anyway, just to irritate him," now she was grinning mischeiviously.

Hearing Livvy, Rian laughed. "Mouth is Plymouth," she said with a smile. "Copernicus said it fit...considering Plymouth talks alot..."

"My father met someone. And well, I finally met the woman." Liz sighs. "It wouldn't be so bad, if she was nice, but she's horrible."

"Another thing is she isn't a witch, she's a muggle. And papa doesn't want anyone coming around, that is like us, including us doing magic!" shrugging. "I don't know what we're going to do. I certainly don't like this person, and she hates anything having to do with anything that is abnormal..."

With a small smile, she says "Mouth is Plymouth. But he only agreed, if we call Copernicus Bum!"

Livvy gave her a small sympathetic smile. "Yeah... well hope that she might be able to get better," she said, with a small sigh. "Wait?! She's a muggle? Eesh... that really shall be interesting."

Livvy snorted. "I don't care.. I'm calling Plymouth Plymm and Copernicus....."

"That's exactly what I thought at first, until I found out she's a muggle." Liz says with a small sigh. "I mean we can't always control our magic within us, even with what we've been taught." She puts her head in her hands. "This is starting to give me a headache again, just thinking about it..."

"This is why I said that I might want to stay with you next summer Rian." Liz says looking up and over at her.

Rian smirked at no one in particular. "I promised Copernicus I wouldn't call him Bum," she said in mock sadness. "I was thinking about Nic..." she added with a shrug.

She grinned when Livvy snorted. "Oh, I'm sure I'll call Plymouth Plymm too. It depends on the kind of name he gives me...If he can think of anything worse than Siren...which I'm sure he can." she shuddered. Well, as long as he didn't call her Sahrina, she'd take whatever other name the two boys came up with.

"Ohhh," Rian said, bobbing her head. "Well, you're welcome to," she said, biting her lip. She felt sorry for her cousin, and was glad that her dad was okay with magic, even though he was a muggle.

"Thank you," Liz says with a wobbly smile. "I've tried talking to him, and so has my auntie, but it's like he has a spell on him, himself!"

"I'm afraid of what the guys might come up with for a nickname for me. There aren't too many for just Liz. My mum had a best friend named Liz, and I was named after her. It's not even short for anything!"

Livvy snorted. "I am so calling Plymouth Plymmm but I'm not sure about Copernicus. He already ruled out Pernipants.. though I'm sure I'll still call him that," she said, snickering.

"Oh... I see," she said. Poor Liz. "I hope things get better. Who knows? Maybe they won't end up together after all."

Livvy laughed. "You really can't do much with Liz can you? I wonder what they'd do with Livvy? Or Olivia..."

"Make sure we're around the first time you do it," Liz says with a giggle despite her miserable face, but showing a hint of a smile. It's hard to keep miserable when someone's being called Pernipants!!! she thinks to herself!

"Yeah, I wanna be there," Rian laughed. "I'm sure he'll thank Plymouth for mentioning that."

"Via," Rian stated with a shrug. "Olive, Liv..." She trailed off, trying to think of more names.

"Oh, Liz is a hard one..." she pursed her lips, thinking. "Maybe they'll use your last name..." she tipped her head to the side. "Merel?" she asked no one, just wondering how that sounded.

Livvy snorted and laughed. "I'll make sure you're there. I hope he won't pummel me though," she said, grinning. "True... Liver!" she said, thinking of more nicknames for herself. "Sa... Ren... Ina..."
