Cale wandered around the hallways of the train, taking a break from the Prefect's compartment. This was his last train ride EVER and he wanted to make the most of it, and see as many people as he could before they pulled into the station.

As he passed by what seemed to be an empty compartment, he did a double take and saw that Evolette was sitting in there, all alone. That seemed to be a common sight these days. He knocked on the door of her compartment before letting himself in. "Hey, what's going on?" he asked, smiling as he opened the glass door.

Perhaps she had spoken too soon. Because just as she got to enjoy her solitude, there was a knock at the door, and someone came in. At least, if it was a nosy firstie, it was a polite nosy firstie.

She took her time to look up, not expecting to have Cale there, but when he started talking, she ripped her gaze away from her manicure. "Cale!" she gasped, smiling. It had been a few weeks since she'd seen him. "Sit." she added, gesturing at the seat beside her.

That's when she remembered. Cale was a seventh year, and she wasn't going to see him next term. What was with all of her boys leaving her?

Muffin jumped about, darting infront of Cale and jumping onto Evolette's lap, watching the curly haired Prefect with curious emerald eyes. Was he going to have to bite this boys collar too? Merrrr.

He smiled and sat down next to her, glad that he had even been invited into the compartment. With her mood lately, she seemed to be anti-boy, and the fact that she was still talking to him was nice. "How are you? Excited for summer?" he asked with a grin.

Jenn glared. "Troll huh?! Why thank you Mr. Hinkypunk!"she glared. "No offense, but I think I'm way better looking than you!"she mumbled. She knew that wouldn't work what he had just said. She knew Rian. It wouldn't work.

Oh was she good or what? Jenn's eyes widdened though when Rian left. "Rian!"she called, tears swelling up again. "Come back Rian!"she yelled, slumping into her seat, throwing her wand onto the floor. She felt horrible. Simply horrible.

Jenn made a wierd noise as she was hugged. That was...unexpected. She hugged Sneeze back, then shrugged. "Ok. I'm coming too though."she said, getting up and grabing her hissing kitten and wand. "Be back Ocean."she called, and she ran out after Sneeze.

"Oops! Sorry."she said to the person she had ran into. "Oh Jesse."she said, jumping up and hugging him. Finally, a person who wasn't going to cry or attack her. "Could you come with me so I can say sorry to Rian?"she asked, already though taking his hand and leading him to Rian. When they reached Rian, she ran up and hugged her. "I'm sorry Rian. And I'm sorry Sneeze. I was acting....rudely and I hope you can forgive....me." Boy that was hard. Jenn had always had a hard time saying sorry, for personally, she wasn't that type of person.

Evolette nodded, and shrugged at the same time. "I was." she said, "Until I remembered that you're not coming back next term." She pouted, petting Muffin absentmindedly.

"Whatever am I going to do without Cale Newell? The best fake boyfriend ever?" It wasn't the end of the world, she knew that, but she couldn't help but feel that way. Saying goodbye to someone was hard, and she was way out of practice in doing it.

"Anyway." she added quickly, not being one to want to linger on sad topics, "How was your detention? I haven't talked to you since then."

Cale chuckled. "I'm sure you'll get along ok. We fake-broke up over a year ago, remember?" he teased. He was going to miss hanging out with Evolette. Even though she was pretty intimidating, it was nice to tell her about his relationship with Anna, and talk about how stupid all her guy friends were when they ticked her off somehow.

"Oh, it was HORRIBLE! We had to kiss this wall that was covered in chicken grease, and then we got tricked into believing we had taken a truth potion and spilled all these secrets," he said with an eyeroll.

Pursing her lips, Evolette sighed, "Yes but... it's just so hard to let go." she teased, giggling, and hoping that he would blush. This time she wouldn't yell at him for it.

Evolette wrinkled her nose, imagining the scene. Ugh. Disgusting.

"Well, I think your's was worse than mine, and I had to deal with Trel." she shuddered, "Who was yours with anyway?"

Muffin was tired of being ignored, so he jumped up, and started sniffing at Cale, pawing his arm carefully. What about HIM? He wanted attention too!

Cale chuckled, recalling with a blush that intense, fake breakup at the lake. At the time, he had been worried about being TOO fake and obvious, but had anyone really believed them anyways? He doubted it.

"Uggh. Trel. She hated me, with a passion," he chuckled. Trel pretty much hated EVERYONE, actually. "Truebridge ran ours."

THERE it was. Evolette giggled under her breath, she was quite pleased that after all this time, she could still get Cale to blush whenever she wanted. It was the perfect ego boost.

"Trel hated everyone." she snorted. Mmm. Truebridge. Evolette didn't know what to make of that man. He was kind of cute. Maybe. Eh, she didn't really know.

The boy was ignoring him! With an indignant wiggle, Muffin pounced off of Evolette's lap, and landed on the boy's lap. He was determined to get some of the attention here, and he was not afraid to resort to biting his collar either. HMPF.

Piper looked at Rose with a bit of confusion as she smiled at her. The other girls eyes were sparkling, and Piper wasn't sure why. "Are you alright Rose?" She asked still somewhat confused. "Well that should be sorta fun, spending your vacation in England, I live in England, perhaps we could get together sometime so your vacation won't be so boring?" She asked her with a smile, it still felt slightly hard to breathe, and she glanced over at Emiliano with a smile.
Piper smiled at Via and she nodded "Perhaps, I know I have been busy myself at school, and wandering around the castle." She gave a slight sigh remembering her sad year. However she was snapped from her sadness by Via's questions. "Am I alright? of course! Why wouldn't I be?" she asked looking slightly confused. Just because I can't seem to breathe and my heart is pounding out of my chest? She wondered to herself as she smiled and twisted her hair around her tiny finger again.


Piper's eyes sparkled again as she heard Emiliano speak, " Okay, I will promise that. I think I might want to come back now, I sorta miss it,and I know I will miss you.. well all of you!!" She quickly amended as she heard him ask if she was alright too. " Yes, I am fine. Why do you ask?" She asked as she tried more in vain to suck air into her lungs. What was going on with her? Maybe... no.. it's couldn't possibly...

Reese smiled when Rose said her name in an all excited voice. "Hey Rooooooose,"she said with a smile. She walked inside the compartment and looked at Emiliano and then to the other people in the compartment. "Hey everyone,"she exclaimed as she sat down next to Rose.

When Jenn showed up, Sneeze was a bit happy inside. "I'm sorry, too, Rian. I'm sorry to you, Jenn. Can you forgive me?" Sneeze said this. All this emotion was hitting him. He might cry, but tried to contain himself. He was a guy, guy's don't cry...

Rian was about to yell at Sneeze, but then she was sort of busy. When the kiss was over, she felt a bit better, but still felt mad, sad, and confused. She barely acknowledged Jesse, but felt kind of upset when Jenn ran right to him and hugged him. Maybe that was a bit selfish...but oh well, she had other, more urgent, matters at hand.

She listened as Jenn and Sneeze apologized to each other, and for some reason they apologized to her, too. Immediately, Rian felt bad. "Guys," she said quietly, intertwining her fingers with Sneeze's, "You two are the most important people to me. I can't bear to see you fighting." she looked down at her feet, then up at Jenn. She held out a hand to her best friend, expecting a hug.

Sneeze felt that the kiss held her down from something, which might have been good. He smiled at her, a genuine Sneeze. "We know that we are, and your important to us too. We're better, now, and we'll fight only when your gone." He joked. He was thinking of next year, if he would have anyone to talk to. He had no other friends, really. What would he do?

Rian actually smiled at his joke, and felt heat rise in her cheeks. She was kind of embarrassed for running out...but she really hadn't wanted to be around when they were fighting. "Shall we go back into the compartment?" she asked, blushing and scuffling her feet shyly.

"Yeah, come on." Sneeze took away his hand away from hers, and took up her stuff. It weighed a bit, but put it again in the compartment. He took her hand again, leading her to the compartment. Sneeze sat down and grabbed from his pocket a small mouse, giving it to Phantom.

Jenn looked at him, and actually smiled. "Well...I guess I can forgive you."she teased, winking at him. "Of coarse I forgive you." she added, not wanting him to think she was being mean....just in case he took it the wrong way.

Jenn smiled at Rian. "Ya. I kind of already knew I was important. I mean, psh, I'm just wonderful like that."she said, winking and giggling. She ran up and hugged Rian tightly. In Rian's ear she whispered, "I love you more than I can tell. Your my sister....and never forget that."she said, smiling.

Jenn laughed at his joke. "Oh yes. We'll duel each other and I'll beat him."she smirked. "And besides...who else will this little dork talk and argue with when your gone? Me! That's right me. Cause we're going to be the best of buds. Right?"she said, nudging Sneeze playfully.

Jenn nodded in agreement. "Sure! Come on Jess! A nice cozey seat awaits us all in the lovely compartment we all left."she said, taking Jesse's hand and leading him to the compartment they had been sitting in....well Rian, Sneeze and Jenn had been sitting in.

Rian bit her lip as she walked back to the compartment, but she smiled slightly when she sat back down where she had been. She watched as Sneeze gave his owl a mouse, then she leaned over and opened her carrier. She got out Cali, in order to give Craizer some more room. The cat eyed the owl for a second, then lost interest and started pawing Rian's leg.

Her smile got more genuine when Jenn and Jesse came into the compartment too. Best of buds, she scoffed, rolling her eyes. But she didn't say anything. Now that everything was good again, it would stay that way. Rian promised herself.

Sneeze smiled at Jenn. "Yeah, your right, Jenn!" He joked, hopefully. He smiled at Rian and looked out the window. Time was flying...

"Welcome." Melanie answered vaguley, giving her a welcoming smile in return.


Melanie, upon hearing what she had to say to Miles, gave the girl a loose smile. "I'll be hear 6 more years." she offered. Only six...Although it was a lot more than most of the people in the school had. She was only a first year...today was the last day she could be called a firstie. Why did it all have to go so fast?! Stupid time. It always seemed to slow and quicken whenever that was exactly what you didn't want it to do...

"Sounds good." Melanie agreed absentmindedly. She was thinking of other things besides pygmy puffs like school and going home and her brother...and-

She really wished she'd stop. This was probably the last time she would get to spend with her friends and she wanted to milk it for all it had and her stupid thoughts had to go get in the way. Urgh!


Noticing the smirk on her face she wished he'd knock it off...Melanie, frowned slightly wondering what she'd done to get that kind of reaction before answering him. "Really?" Melanie asked, excitedly, her disappointment quickly switching to pleasure as he said he would like a Slytherpuff house.

"I'd never leave Hufflepuff anyway though." Melanie piped up. No matter how awesome a Slytherpuff house would be she still wouldn't leave her house. Sides' what would the mascot be? Some weird mix between a Snake and a Badger? Something was telling her that wasn't possible...Hmm. Maybe Hufflepuff, could simply kidnap a few Slytherins...

Melanie had guessed by the way he'd shown support for the Slytherpuff house that he was probably either a Slytherin or Hufflepuff and she was right too. Slytherin house, like Shana and Natasha and a few other people she'd meant. Despite they're reputation for being 'cunning' they still seemed really nice and welcoming.

The small Hufflepuff girl gave him a somewhat piteous look. He had to leave Hogwarts in only a year. That's what they got for being old though. "That stinks." she agreed. "I don't want to leave Hogwarts." she admitted sadly, shaking her head rapidly back in forth. Couldn't she just stay 11 forever?

Rian smiled between her two friends, glad that they were just teasing each other now. She sat back against the seat and looked out the window, stroking the cat on her lap absentmindedly. Time was flying by, and soon she'd be going home. She sighed, still gazing out the window.

Chris finished playing his song. He looked up at Jane. "So any other songs you want to hear?" He asked and raised an eyebrow slightly.

Krissy took a seat in an empty compartment and pulled out a pile of maps from her bag. She had barely made it through finals, and now she had to figure out what to do with the lands in her possession. By this time tomorrow she had a meeting with the chieftains of her clan about the possibility of expanding their claims in Ireland. She was barely a girl of sixteen it wasn't likely they would listen to her, except for her name...It was the name that had the power, not the skinny girl wearing too short school robes. With a deep sigh she began her arduous task. It was a shame she couldn't use her magic outside of school yet, that would make things much easier when she got home. How is going to lead a community of witches and wizards when she couldn't even use her own magic?
Unable to focus she glanced out the window and wondered if Helios ever got out of Detention...if he was in the forest now...if he missed her at all.

Spence made her way to her compartment and went in with her candy. As she sat down she ripped open a chocolate frog.

Sneeze looked at Rian. Man, time was going to split them. Was it destiny telling them they shouldn't be together? He took Phantom out and on his shoulder. Sneeze then got a bit closer to Rian and kissed her. He felt so much for her and words couldn't describe it. He felt older, wiser. It was like when he met her he knew she was the one. She was still the one.
