Lizzie shook her head at once. No, no, please stay. I couldn't find any of my friends so I thought I'd catch up on some sleeping while waiting for someone to find me instead. She gave him a smile. So why are you walking in the corridor all alone? she returned the question while opening a bottle of water she had had in her bag and drinking some. She then held out the bottle for Marcus, saying You want some? He usually didn't mind sharing her bottle, so she supposed it was still ok with him.

She smirked slightly and picked Noor up out of the box; the knarl whined a little bit, but settled down nicely as she was placed on Freya's lap. Noor gave one yawn, rolled up into a ball, and dozed off.
Freya grinned again and continued to look outside even after Lucy had left the compartment. 'What would it be like if I was a first year coming here?'

Sure, thanks he said as she handed him the water, then thoughtfully answered her. Well, I suppose I was kinda lonely too. Good thing I found you he grinned. He was glad, now he'd probably get to spend the day of travelling with her, which was very nice. What are you planning on doing this summer? he asked her with an interested smile, leaning backwards as his eyes quickly went from her face to the window and the passing landscape, and back again. Maybe he'd ask if he could come visit? Or perhaps she wanted to visit him and his crazy magic family? He smiled to himself, maybe not after all..

Lizzie smiled abscentmindedly as she answered him. Well, first I'm going home for a week or so, just to make sure they're ok. And mum want's to see me since I've been away for so long. And then I'm gonna visit some friends and go see Chris. She eyed him quickly at the mentioning of her boyfriend, but he didn't seem to have noticed. Anyway, I don't think my family's going anywhere this summer, sadly. It would have been nice to go abroad since we haven't done that like forever. She sighed. Not since Maddie... she thought to herself before adding And what about you? You've got any plans?

He listened to her talking while his eyes were locked upon her face. Mhm, sounds like fun he said without really knowing what he was referring to. Not allowed, not allowed not allowed he kept thinking to himself, knowing that her heart didn't race the way his did at the moment. Finally looking away he heard her question and kept his eyes on his hands while answering. I don't know really. Might go visit Becky, if we get a letter telling us where she is. Or otherwise I'll just hang around at home with Andreas I suppose. He sighed quietly and turned to watch the landscape again. She's got a boyfriend he thought to himself, she's nothing but good old Lizzie...

Curiously watching Marcus, Lizzie wondered why he was acting so different. Thinking about it, he had been acting different ever since he started at Hogwarts. And what was this, was he blushing?! She chuckled quietly before answering. I'm sorry you haven't got plans either. Must really suck that Becky keeps moving around like that. Where did you last hear from her? she wondered. Maybe we can hang out some, I mean, I haven't seen your family for so long.

He smiled to himself. So typical Lizzie, always caring, always knowing. His feelings against his sister were mixed, but Lizzie could always tell when he was angry with her. She wrote from New Zeeland about a month ago he told her with a shrug. Bet she's in Canada or something by now... As she continued, he swallowed (why was he acting like an idiot?) and cleared his thoat. Sure, that's be fun. But hey, they're your family too. Dad's your uncle, y'know.

Lizzie shook her head. I always thought she was a bit weird she said, referring to the fact that Marcus's sister had been travelling the world for a while now, not knowing what she was truly looking for. Hope she finds some decent guy soon and lives happily ever after in one place. She then shrugged as he pointed out their parents being related. Not really. I guess he's my uncle because that's what I call him, but you know mum's not really his sister. Having an adopted mum means you don't have any real relatives on her side of the family she smiled. And therefore you're not really my counsin either. Just an adopted version of it.

He muttered something and then said more clearly Yeah but I bet that's never gonna happen. She'll get lost in some desert, and one day the letters will stop arriving. He didn't look bothered, but it hurt to know that his sister was probably never gonna live in England again. She was too wild for the brittish way of life. Then his heart jumped as she said she didn't see him as a real cousin. While we're talking relatives, y'know there's nothing making us really related, right? he said with a smile, which then faded away as he fought with his thoughts. She's my cousin...Not really, not for real...She's just John's little sister...She's a friend now...But it's weird to like someone you've grown up with...That onle means you know each other well...She's got a boyfriend, for cryin out load!

Lizzie watched him carefully, reading his face. It's not like that's gonna happen, you know that right? she said with a comforting smile, thinking over if she'd give him a hug because he looked so sad. On second thoughts, he wasn't the kinda guy who liked hugs and both him and John had always teased her for being the only soft and hugging person around at family dinners. Becky was never around, so Marcus brother Jesper, John and Marcus were the ones who kept to them selves. Oh, she remembered all right..

Eyeing him curiously she said What are you thinking about, you look very thoughtful she giggled.

He shrugged, trying to change the subject. Oh, nevermind he said before smiling slightly at her and saying Not much, just going through some options in my head... He glanced out the window before returning to staring at her face with a little smile. Stop drooling! he thought to himself. Y'know, if things were different or if I'd started last year instead... he didn't know how to continue so the sentence turned into a mumbling.

As if it wasn't enough with Lizzie already being almost his cousin (though they weren't actually related in any way..!) she had Chris. Swallowing he wondered what Chris would think if he entered now. Well at least Marcus had been smart enough to sit opposite to her and not beside her. Or had it been that smart really? Now he had her face right in front of him, visible to his eyes.

Lizzie raised her eyebrows slightly, confused. If you'd started last year instead? Then what? she wondered. What would be different? She smiled, still a bit confused, and chuckled a bit. You always speak like you have huge secrets she said and nudged him playfully. If I could somehow read your mind... She looked up and met his eyes (they seemed to constantly be looking into hers) while making a funny face and looking concentrated. I think I'm sensing some sort of... message she joked, "reading his mind". I think your brain's telling me to tell you this; Don't study so much, have fun with your friends instead! she laughed.

He stiffened as she seemed to think through everything that had been different last term. Chris, Chris, Chris his mind screamed, but he kept quiet while he wished he hadn't opened his big mouth. But he couldn't help but gasping quietly for a second as she nudged him. He wanted to hug her, spend the entire summer with her... Then she changed the subject into mind reading and he smiled, amused, while she read his mind. Luckily she didn't master legilimency. His dad had tried to teach him some occlumency but it hadn't went that well. I bet you'd make a fortune out of that he laughed. And you're right, I haven't been haning out much with you lately he said breathlessly.

Lizzie laughed and turned to Zara's cage, opening it and picked up the owl. Putting her in her own lap she stroke the feathers softly and smiled. We'll have to catch up on that during summer then she smiled.

Yeah, we'll do that he answered quietly, watching her pick up the owl. He glanced at his own owl cage. Tiny Lu would probably just turn the compartment into a caos if he let him out, so he turned back to Lizzie and said Then at least I have one thing to look forwards to this summer.

Via wanted to smile but the others might thought she was getting crazy for smiling without apparent reason. Well in fact there is a reason for her to smile, she was actually watching Piper and Emiliano. And she felt sparks around, especially when Emiliano told them the story of how he and Piper had met.

How sweet, FATE?!? she thought as she listened and leaned her head on the window pane.


"i might have been there as i've done nothing but wander around the castle," she told Piper. She couldn't read minds but she can somehow feel something by the way how people act. "Are you alright, Piper?" The eyes conveys a lot of things we cannot say...

Then Via's gaze fell on a figure of a woman standing outside their door. REESE??? What was she doing there? Perhaps she needed somewhere to stay with. She couldn't remember if they had met before but it seems like it.

As she heard Rose call her to join them, Via smiled and added, "Come sit with us." There are a lot of students she knew by face but not by their names... she should try to socialize next term.

Noticing Rose had been doing the same thing as her, Via glanced again outside. Maybe Rose had noticed there's a feeling between the two. After a while she again looked at the people inside the compartment. She had nothing to say, she just preferred to listen. She would learn more things through it than talking.

But right now, she was quite curious why Emiliano was sad when she came inside and the answer maybe is the thing about his parents not in favour of him staying at Hogwarts... how could they? Hogwarts is the best place she could ever think of... Ooops... guess she was wrong, coz if she were to choose she'll choose to be with her parents.


"You must be a great writer," Via said. There's so much to write about life and she just loved learning new things from all of her experiences. In as much as she would love to read his writings, she knew Emiliano wouldn't allow her to do the thing... those are personal matters probably especially if it deals with his life.

Spence wandered back from the food trolley and walked up and down the hallways. She took out a piece of her candy and bit into the chocolate. Hmm. She loved chocolate. She really didn't have anywhere to go so she just stood in the corridor.

Sneeze looked at Rian. "I will accept, act, and apologize, but I won't hug that troll!" He said this harshly and got up, wand in left hand. He swished it and suddenly sparks flew out. "Jenn, I apologize, alright. You happy, Rian?"

Rian glared accusingly at Sneeze. "No, I am not happy!" she exclaimed, standing up again. "I am not happy!" She looked from the two friends, feelings tears prick her eyes. Without another word, she picked up her pet carrier and her bag. Then she stormed out of the compartment. "You two can fight all you want. Just leave me out of it." and with that she slammed the door shut.

It was over. His first term at Hogwarts, over. He would miss this place, it was like his home, the place where all his friends were, where he felt he belonged, and he was leaving. Not forever, of course, he'd be back after summer, but the thought that scared him was that he'd be fourteen soon. Well, at the end of the summer, anyway. He hadn't spotted any of his friends at the back of the train so he'd decided to move towards the front. Ollie, his pygmy puff, was buried in his pocket, snoozing. Thinking of the little red puff ball, he'd just remembered that he'd never thanked Jenn for it. Yugi Mutou, his infamous oddly coloured owl, was flying towards home, with a message saying he'd be back soon.

"Rian?" He'd just spotted Rian, storming out of one of the compartments, and she looked pretty unhappy. He would of gone after her, but when he looked into the compartment which Rian had come out of, her boyfriend, Sneeze, was in there, with Jenn and Chis Kaplan. He wouldn't want to go after Rian if her boyfriend was there, that was his job, wasn't it? And he didn't want to intrude on there personal affairs.

Sneeze looked at the closed door. He couldn't believe this was happening. How could he be such an idiot! Sneeze looked at Jenn. "I'm truly sorry. But I'm going to talk to Rian." He quickly hugged her, for some reason and ran out the door after Rian. He followed her down and took her hand. He spun her around and somehow, not meaning to do it, his lips touched hers. After the short kiss he looked at Rian. Speechless, he looked at her with a sorryful face.

"I could play you one. But I don't really have any lyrics to them." Chris told Jane. But anyways started to play one of his songs. He was looking at the guitar. The song started soft with him finger picking then he switched to strumming and the tempo became faster.

Jane was all smiles. She didn't care that Chris wasn't really William for now. She just sorta imagined he was William. She could imagine anyone playing a guitar as William, but this one is easier because Chris looks almost exactly (uhm..) like William. It was a pretty tune.

If only there were lyrics to go with it. It would be an awesome song.

Jane thought to herself, lost within the music. Suddenly, she thought of a song that her brother, Philip used to play on the radio all the time. Something by the Rolling Stones called Wild Horses. That was a pretty tune too.

If only Chris could play that. That would be nice.

Jane opened another marshmallow Bunny and started eating while still listening to Chris play, reminding herself to offer him some when he was done.

Miles continued to smirk at the first year's constant need to ramble. To be fair though, she was kind of cute in a little girl sort of way, a bit like Sylvia was. But as he listened to the little, and now he knew, Hufflepuff, it was safe to say that Sylvia would not be a huffie, if little huffie girls were meant to act like this. "Aha. Me too. I'd love a Slytherpuff house." Of course, it would never happen.

"I am." Miles smiled proudly, even if he did like the idea of Hufflepuff. "Sixth year too. I'm not happy about leaving soon though.."

"Awww." Miles grinned and ruffled Shana's hair slightly. "I've still got one more term with you, and then Sylvia's coming." Sylvia would be a Slytherin, because if Shana was a Slythie and was much nicer than his little sister, it sounded like Slytherin was a perfect house for her.

Muffin pranced about, jumping up and down on the seat, and then when he'd gathered up the courage, he pounced off of the seat, and landed on the ground, strutting around the compartment like he owned the place.

Evolette rolled her eyes, as she flipped through the last letter she'd received from Nicholai. One would think that she would prefer not to be alone, but in the company of her friends, but after the term she went through, it was a nice change. She was actually surprised that no little firsties had nosed about in there.
