Penny had to laugh. "Spiders are just...Ugh." she said with a shudder while laughing. She could handle most of the bugs but when it came to spiders, that is where she drew the line.

She laughed. 'I know!! Jake has this baby tarantula that he got from Kayla, and Reese was freaking out about it." She shook her head and tried not to laugh. It was rather funny. "It was sorta cute though... I've never seen a baby tarantula before now."

All Penny could do was shake her head. "I don't like spiders, but I won't freak out over them." she said with a laugh. "That is unless they are on me." she said with a shudder.

"I know," she said nodding. "I mean I would too. That's what happened to Reese. Cam threw one on her face 'cause he picked it up from the ground, thinking it was an ant-sized troll." She snorted. That was an interesting day. Though she still wondered if ant-sized trolls really existed.

Maddox closed the door quickly as the book came hurtling at him. It slammed into the glass and fell back onto the floor. He opened the door again, and grinned from ear to ear, then stuck his tounge out.

He walked over to her, picking up the book as he went, and wrapped his arm around her shoulders, "I know but we will see each other right? You can come stay with me when I go to the French estate." He kissed her cheek gently and waited for her reply.



Lovely. Lima always liked to pop up out of no where! "Hey Lima." He gave her a small smile.





Maddox raised his left eyebrow at Penny. The two girls were going on and on and talking like he wasnt even there. His face started to get red, he was getting angry. 'Calm down Darcy. Calm down.' "Your doing what?" He glared at Penny.

She rolled her eyes as Mads started to get annoyed. "Oh, take a chill pill, Maddox," she said sighing. He was always so temperamental. Geeze.

"Oh Dear" was all Penny could say. To her that was so wrong.


Penny smiled at Mads when he sat down and put is arm around her shoulders and kissed her cheek. "I... Um.... Er..." she stuttered. She was not sure how she was going to tell him what she was doing.

She just started telling Lima about her plans and forgot he was there. When she looked over at him and saw that he was getting angry she shyed away from him. "I.. Umm.... Jeez." she stuttered again. She took a deep breath before she went on. She looked Mads in the eyes and said. "You heard me. I am going backpacking by myself." she told him. She was not about to let him stop her.

Maddox's head snapped up, and he glared at Lima. This was not the right time for her to speak to him like that. They werent GREAT friends. They had just started speaking to each other again about a week or so ago. He clenched and unclenched his jaw a couple times, wanting to tell her to shut it and get out, but he refrained, and turned back to Penny.




Maddox looked at her and softened his features a bit, but was still angry at Penny. "Why didnt you tell me, Pen? I thought you and I would get to hang out this summer..." He sighed and looked out the window.

Ignoring his glare, she just sighed and continued to sit there and listen to them speak. "Well, she's not going to be by herself the whole time. I'm going to join her. Isn't that right, Penny?" She bounced in her seat. She was so excited.

Penny glared for a few seconds longer at Mads, then kissed his cheek and smiled. "I would have told you if I had seen you. You seemed to have disappered as well." she told him. Then an idea struck her. She leaned over and grabbed his chin to make him look at her. "I know you love the outdoors. Why not come with me for awhile. Lima is going to be with me at towards the end of the summer." she told him after Lima pitched in her comment. "You know it would be fun." she said with a big smile.

Maddox decided at this point it would be best to completely ignore Lima, or he would explode.




Maddox scrunched his eyebrows and pursed his lips at her, before replying, "More like I have been everywhere around Hogwarts, and you were nowhere to be seen all term." He felt her hand on his chin. It was soft and warm. He thought about her proposition for a while. But wasnt sure about it. "I dont know Pen. I have a lot to do at all three of my estates this summer. I'm going to referbish the Nottingham and the Madrid estate and have to check on business at the French estate. It's possible, but, I am not quite sure yet." He sighed, and gave her a sad face. He wanted to hang out with Penny so badly. He was hoping she would help him figure out some things with his estates, but that idea was out the window now.

She smiled at Penny's suggestion though he totally shot it down. She frowned a bit. "Aww, that's too bad, Maddox." Not like she would have seen him on the trip anyway though. "You have more than one estate?" She blinked in surprise. "That's so cool!"

Penny rolled her eyes. "You know how I get when I am studying. I hide. Remember?" she asked him. Penny frowned at Mads said face. She was not going to let it affect her like she has in the past. "If you are going to be busy at all three, you won't make it out." she said pouting. She stuck out her bottom lip like she was two. "Maybe I could push it back a month?" she said thinking out loud and crossed her arms at looked at him.

Shana shook her head as Mel told her not to look at the cat like that.Oh fine.She moaned.ergh! stupid cat! why couldn't you sit under our feet,not over our flippin' heads.she thought.He didn't do anything yet. but theres a long ride home.She said edgeing towards Miles and placing her head on his shoulder.That was something Miles was good for when he was sitting down anyway.

Having gone slightly crosseyed, Jane snapped back into reality when she realised there was a moment of silence. Chris was looking at her uhmm.. ear? Or something? Behind her? Her? Jane stood up and reached across the compartment for the guitar and walked backwards back to her seat.

"I'm alright, but are you really going back home to Bulgaria?"Jane was wishing she would see him next term. Is he coming back?She smiled, but her eyes were in that 'lost' gaze again and then ...

SLIP!

The guitar slipped(on purpose) but she caught it in time and grinned at Chris and sat down.

Ana smiled at Cadence seeing that she was much better.
"It was good, normal i think" she said "Well, apart from the strange behaviour... from the professors... professors stalking students and things like that" she smiled a little thinking about the things that their professors made when chasing the older students "But it's all back to normal now".

"And you? Are you living with your grandparents?" she asked

Celandine flounced, still attached to Kayla, to the front of the train. "I know... but you have Nico..." Celandine trailed off, uncertain if Kayla had ever been faced with any sort of choice between Nicholai and someone else. Cel did not want to have to make any choices. Why should she? She wasn't even fourteen yet and these boys had just up and appeared and kissed her and tasted better than candy...

She wrinkled up her nose and let go of Kayla, continuing with the flouncing and winding up in an empty compartment, probably belonging to someone who'd vacated it merely to get candy.

"It would be easier," Cela noted, "If I could just stay exactly the same forever." the way her brothers wanted her to stay.

Raising an eyebrow at Cela's sudden change in demeanor, Kayla continued up the train still holding the younger girl's hand. "Yes I do" she agreed. "And you know you can finish that sentence if you like, I will answer you honestly." She had no secrets from any of the Toussaints.

She followed Cela into an empty compartment and sat down opposite her. "Yes it would but life is never easy Cela." That one she could testify too. Kayla leaned back in her seat and watched Celandine carefully. "You're going to have to grow up one day Cela and your brother..."she stopped for a moment..."brothers are going to have to get used to that. I know that they love you very much but I think its time they loosen the leash a little so to speak." And that included her as well, Kayla wasn't always going to be around to keep an eye on Celandine.

"I can drop out, Rian. Why? My inventions. But I won't drop out, that was meant to only be heard in my head. And, no, Jenn, I am not nuts. If I were I'd be sneezing. I dont want to work at the ministry. I want to sell my inventions and open a store, which I can do pretty much now if I wanted. And why a hobo? Why was that that came to mind?" Sneeze said to the girls. He could live on his inventions since the age of 5. Now, school was getting in the way of inventing.

Freya sat back in her seat, pondering. "Not unless I go a little overboard with a 'youth' potion, though they are pretty complicated." Freya was sure that she would need to do a bit of research on the subject before going through with anything; what if there was no such thing? Naw, there was an aging potion after all.
She gazed out the window; any moment now they would see the landscape slow down and would all be forced to go their seperate ways...well...maybe not entirely. "Didn't you say that you have a younger sister? How is she fairing through all of this? Do you want to take her with you to stay at the house?"

She stopped talking and listened. The train's breaks had started with a slight screeching noise that was definitely a familiar sound. Freya looked to Penelope, "Guess this is it." She smiled slightly and watched as the scenery slowed down, and sighed as the train entered the station. 'Off on my own now...'. Freya stood up and gathered her animals and sidebag, before leaving the train for the last time with her Hogwarts buddy.
