Penny's mouth fell open when Lima mentioned detention. "You got detention? What did you do?" she asked. Penny thought Lima was one of the ones that would never have landed there.

Penny smiled. "That is great. Now I dont have to worry about you being on the street somewhere." she said picking her Lima. "Well I have to tell you. Pax is so mad at me." Penny said with a smirk.

She laughed at the reaction. "Everyone does that when I tell them." She shook her head. She didn't know why. Not like she was a Saint. "I threatened a First Year with a wand," she added shrugging.

"And of course I won't be on the street," she added, shaking her head. Then it was her turn for a surprise. "Why is he mad at you?"

"Always am" Kayla drawled from the doorway of the compartment, where she was casually leaning with her arms folded across her chest. She observed the two in front of her with a small smirk on her face. "Yes do tell us Helios, how long have you known?" And why would you be so cruel as to let the girl wait for so long she added silently.

Penny looked at Lima stunned. "What? Why did you do that?" she asked. Penny thought Lima was good natured and to nice of a person. "What did that first year do to make you threaten them?" she had to ask.

"Like I said, that is a good thing." she said with a laugh. Penny laughed harder when she heard the surpise in Limas voice. "Umm, lets see. When I get home all the boys are going to be with Peter in Scotland. I am going to be home one day and I am leaving. Pax it mad cause one, he won't be there when I get home and two, I am leaving by myself." she told Lima.

Krissy startled at Kayla's sudden entrance. "Kayla! Oh um..." Krissy nervously wiped her hand across her lips as though that would change what hand just happened. "Please be nice Kay...I'm sorry I didn't believe yeh cousin." Krissy silently pleaded that Kayla wouldn't ruin this moment. Turning to Helios Krissy waited patiently for an explanation.

She sighed. "He strangled Jake... Jake is this First Year I'm over protective of. See... Jake saw this Set guy die earlier this Term.. And I was the one that comforted him after that. I'm sorta like a Mother figure to him now." She bit her lip and hoped that that was a good enough explanation.

She laughed then got really confused by the last statement. "Wait... what? Where are you going?" The expression on her face was totally blank.

Penny thought for a moment. "I know Jake. I met him in D.A. with Kayla. Why would that guy strangle him?" she asked. She felt bad for Jake.

Penny saw the confusement on Lima's face then the blankness. Penny took a deep breath before she said anything still feeling the hurt. "I am leaving home because of Pax. He hurt me bad last summer. I am not going to be there for him to do it again. My mum and dad agreed that it is safe enough for me to go back packing up in Sweden, Iceland, and all them places." she told her friend. Mads did not even know what she was doing. She was looking forward to doing it.

Kayla raised an eyebrow at Krissy's comment and silent pleading. Why should she be nice? Helios was a git and quite frankly the girl could do better. But who was she to get in the way of the sun and the moon coming together? So Kayla, merely pretended to lock her lips together and waited to see what he had to say for himself.

"Aah," she said nodding. Then she frowned. "I do not know. But whatever it was, it was uncalled for." She was getting mad again, just thinking about it.

"Oh," she said as realization hit. "Does Mads know what he did?" She was still a bit confused, but not as much now as before. "Where are you going though?"

Helios felt a cold chill as Winters joined them. Instinctively, the boy drew Krissy and felt only warmth. "I wanted you to decide for yourself that you wanted to be with me. That love is stronger than some commitment that was being forced upon us." Though he felt terrible about the deception, he still believed in why he did it.

"When you didn't recognize me, I realized you came here for a fresh start, like I did. But our destiny seemed to give chase. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner...I didn't want you to feel obligated to me." He knew Kayla wouldn't accept his answer, but he wasn't sure about Krissy. He hung by her next words.

Penny nodded. "Yeah, nothing like that should happen." she said. She realized that it was getting to Lima again. "How about a change of subject?" she shuggested.

Penny watched as Lima caught what she was talking about. "Yeah he knows. I told him on the train before school started." she told Lima. Then she smiled when Lima asked where she was going. "I am going to start in Iceland and then go to Sweden. Then see what happens from there." she said. The more she talked about it, the more excited she was getting.

Krissy looked at Helios, her prince. Her betrothed...her liar. "Yeh knew when yeh first saw me on the train?" The disbelief dripped from her tongue. "Yeh knew for five bloody years and never once told me? How could yeh? How could yeh snog me cousin when yeh knew I was pining for yeh in me common room?" She shook her head and sighed. "I did choose yeh Helios, but did yeh choose me? or am I jest an obligation to yeh?" she wasn't angry just curious. "Do yeh love me? Do yeh want to be with me for the rest of yer life?" She clung to him hoping, begging praying that he would say yes. That this wasn't all a cruel dream. They were meant to be, they had to be. Turning her head slightly she could see Kayla watching silently... if this all fell apart would her cousin be her best friend and console her, or be her enemy pointing out Krissy's folly?

She smiled and said, "okay. So um, what do you want to do for a living?" She never realized that she hadn't asked Penny that before.

She nodded. Well, that was good. And she knew that Mads would have been understanding of it all. Though it still must have been awkward for him. "Oh, okay! That sound exciting!" Wow, to go backbacking... "I might do something like that too. When I'm not so busy."

Kayla rolled her eyes heavenward and taking a deep breath, oh how she wanted to just hex him right now. "Oh what a lot of crap" she muttered under breath. Did he expect any of them to believe that load of tripe he just said. Honestly guys will sugar coat anything to get themselves out of trouble.


She straightened up against the door frame and looked at Krissy. "Geez Krissy, keep me out of it." Kayla didn't need to be reminded of her moment of insanity in her first year. Of course there had been ulterior motives behind her whole fling with the Prince but they didn't need to know that...yet. Glancing at Helios for a moment she allowed herself a small smirk, his time will come though.

"Well I guess I'll leave so that you can share this little reunion in private. Do let me know when the wedding is won't you. Wouldn't want to miss that for the world" she gave them a small wink before taking her leave.

Penelope nodded in agreement.
'Yeah, I wish too, but I guess it's not gonna happen so we have to get used to it' she said. She knew the train trip was almost over.
'Although I am looking forward to seeing everyone'.

Penny laughed at what Lima changed the subject to. "I am not sure. I am hoping while I am out backpacking, it will come to me." she said.

"I am getting all jazzed up about it. You have no clue." Penny said to Lima. Penny smiled at Lima. "You should. It is a great experince." she told her.

She smiled and said, "I think I really will need to do that at the end of the summer. Before I think of where I want to work myself." She really needed to get a job that would be on the side. She needed something to keep her busy when she wasn't doing her music. Especially seeing as all of her band mates were still in school.

Jenn frowned. Now she felt bad for even opening her mouth. "Oh Rian. I'm sure you'll be fine. I mean, your mum and aunt should teach you stuff and Devon and I and my brother's will teach you all that we are learning, and you can read all about it too. Just go to Diagon Alley and such and get the reqiured books for your year and learn everything from them. I mean, you'll be fine. Your a brilliant witch, you won't be a squib or muggle, or even a hobo."she said, smiling slightly.

She sighed saddly. It was starting to get dark, she could tell from the way the scenery outside was starting to get dark. She petted Luna softly as she looked out the window, humming softly. If it was getting dark, that meant they where getting closer to London...closer to her house....closer to Rian never coming back....Jenn sighed again, and leaned back, still watching the trees wizz by.

Helios didn't bother looking at Kayla as she left, the stars in Krissys eyes had him enchanted. "I did not believe I deserved you. That you did not deserve to be condemned to a life by my side, like Persephone and Hades. As for Kayla..." The Greek boy looked to make sure the prefect was gone before continuing.

"I would have had to marry her if something happend to you. I was going to go home and say I couldn't find you. I know I have done some terrible things, but I swear to you that I thought I was doing what was best for you." His gut was in knots, but the boy kept his composure. Helios would not accept the possibility of her staying angry at him.

"The mirror showed me that I was wrong. I saw us, like this, and I knew that was what you saw as well. I realized that our arranged marriage wasn't a contract; it was our parents promise to the future that we would follow our destiny and fall in love. I don't think this could have happend any other way." Deep and confusing. The story of their lives. Helios was content in knowing this was not the end, but a new beginning for them both. A new chapter that would begin with three simple words that were the most powerful spell:

"I love you."

Penny smiled at Lima. Then she had a thought. "How about this, when you are ready to get away, write me. I will tell you where I am and you meet up with me. What do you think?" she asked her friend. It would be so great if one of her friends could show up.

I'm doing much better, thank you for asking. How are you? How was the rest of the term? she said, beaming at Ana with her usual bubbly personality back in tact.

Krissy looked at Helios and knew he was telling the truth. "I understand why yeh kept it secret...but I was so torn about being betrothed and falling for yeh. I jest wish we hadn't wasted so much time." She smiled and looked him in the eye "I love yeh too Helios." suddenly something he said struck her slightly breaking the spell. "Yeh would have had to marry Kayla?"

Her eyes lit up excitedly. "Deal!!" She was geting excited just thinking about it. She would be backbacking through the wilderness with Penny. It couldn't get any better than that. "Okay, I'll give you my cell number and you can give me yours and we can keep on contact that way too." She smiled.

Penny laughed at Lima excitment. "Ok! You have yourself a deal." she said. This was going to be so much fun. The thought of her and her best friend out backpacking was just the best. "You are not one of those that are afraid of bug are you?" Penny had to ask. Penny had to ask.

"Nope, not really," she said smiling. "Though I don't like them really and spiders sorta creep me out a little." She shuddered.
