Jenn was barely listening until she heard Sneeze say he might drop out. Her eyes widdened and she looked at him as if he was some crazy person. "Are you nuts!? The Hogwarts School is probably the most important time of your life! Without it..well...you can't get jobs at the Ministry. You'll be a hopeless hobo living on the streets. I mean, you won't have anything. You'll be concidered a squib! Or a muggle!"she said, staring at Sneeze.

Melanie gave her a huge smile as Ana walked in. "I was looking for you too and Cadence. I couldn't find either one of you at the feast..." Melanie trailed off. But she had had a great time at the feast anyway. Hearing a hiss from above her Melanie glanced up at Momo whom was still perched on the luggage rack above them. He'd awoken for the second time in the last ten minutes to a little girl's loud yell. Fur ruffled and eyes narrowed he rested his head back down on his paws.

"I know." Melanie agreed, a sad sigh coming from her lips. "What was it?" Melanie asked curiously. She hadn't been to interested in the whole project and therefore hadn't well...actually had a creature, but she wouldn't have been able to take a magical creature home with her anyway. For Merlin's sake she lived in an apartment in the middle of New York!


Melanie nodded, smiling. She noticed the look Shana was giving her sweet precious brute of a cat and wasn't to pleased by it. He hadn't done anything wrong. Just taking a little nap in the luggage rack on the ride home...

"Don't look at him like that." Melanie said, her thin brows drawing in slightly. "He didn't do anything." she persisted.

Cadence scanned the train for her best friend. Her grandparents had dropped her off at the train station after picking her up from St. Mungo's as she insisted on seeing Melanie. She found her in a compartment with a few other people and threw the door open! Lanie!!!! she squealed, and launched herself on her best friend.

Then she turned and saw Ana in the compartment as well. Ana!!! and she gave her friend a hug as well. I'm so glad to see you guys! Cadence was all smiles now, much different than the girl who had been whisked away from the school after destroying the Common Room.

Rian whipped her head around to Jenn when she heard her speak. She listened, curious, as she spoke, feeling a gut-wrenching feeling in her stomach. "Gee," she whispered, feeling horrible. Muggle. Squib. These words tumbled around in Rian's mind, igniting feelings Rian preferred to keep buried. Would she even know how to use magic after not using it for so long? Of course she would...right? She'd be around it, and wizards didn't lose their magic. And Rian would be studying...

Her head fell back against the wall, and she closed her eyes.

"Thanks! See, I told you. Always just a tidbit off." Chalice said with a giggle. "Hey um... do you wanna hang out some this summer?" she asked. "I don't think I can stay in my house all alone." she said with a shake of her head.

a million things went through Krissy's mind as she considered Helios' question. I want you to stay, I want you to love me, I want you, just you.she thought her mind racing.
"Yeh owe nothing to me lad. I could tell yeh what I want...but it never mattered to yeh anyhow." she sighed. "I though more of yeh. Yeh were always someone I respected, someone who I thought would rather divide and conquer, not curl up and die. If yeh can't make it here... if yeh can't make it at a school how can yeh ever lead yer people with yer head held high? Yeh were me inspiration to be a great leader. I guess I was wrong about so much..." Her voice cracked as she whispered the last words. She wanted to hug him and tell him he could do anything if he put his mind to it, but it wasn't her place. "If yeh must go back to Aeaea, then yeh must. Who am I to stand in yer way?" she kicked her broom under the seat out of frustration all the while trying to hold back tears.

"We had to take for our creatures the whole year and now we could adopt them...or not, and I adopt him. He's a kneazle so he's basically a cat" she smiled. That could actually be a problem because of her owl but hopefully they will get along with each other.

"So any plans for the summer?" she asked

"Cadence!!" she hugged her back "You're back!! How are you? Do you feel better?" she asked anxiously "It's so good to see you again!" she smiled

Chris laughed. "Don't worry you will get it some day." He told Chailce. "Umm yeah sure, just owl me and let me know when." He told her nodded. "And you could come to my house if you wanted." He said.

He didn't need all this. This drama was what he was trying to escape. All these words with meanings, and feelings attached. Helios got to where he was by action, and it would only take a few steps to walk away.

The power of words are almost magical in the way that they can trigger a physical reaction from those that hear them. The boy could feel their weight anchoring him to where he stood. A quiet growl rumbled in his throat, wishing that the girl would just make things easy. Of course she never did, always pushing him. It would take more clarity than he possessed to realize that she always pushed him in the right direction.

"Why are you so upset? Surely, you and ice queen Winters would be glad to see me go." Angry and confused, Helios shook his head.

Penelope laughed. She stood up and stretched before sitting down again.
'I'm sure Silas will learn his lesson if he does mess with Noor' she said.

Krissy turned her head to Helios with anger in her eyes. "Why am I upset?! WHY AM I UPSET?!" She stood and was shaking with anger. " Because I don't want yeh to leave yeh bleedin' moron! Do yeh really think I care what Kayla thinks about yeh leaving? I feel empty when yeh aren't around I feel like all the happiness has been drained out of me. I may not be able to keep yeh for me own, but I'll be darned if I want to lose yer friendship!!" Tears splashed down her red face. Swiping angrily at them she stared at Helios. "I love you. I know you don't care, but since this is the last time I'll see yeh...there it is. I love yeh and it doesn't make a lick of difference. Once again Helios gets to hear something that doesn't matter to him and the little moon girl is left crying!" Reaching into her bag she pulled out the glass rose Helios had given her at the end of term feast in their first year. "I don't know why I kept this all this time. Take it back..." She held it out to him her tiny hand shaking, her voice raspy and tears running down her face.

"Keep it." Helios commanded, steadying her hand by putting his over hers, the rose glowing faintly pink. Watching the glass flower, he slowly built up the courage to look at her. Looking angry at first, his gaze eventually softend with a sigh.

"Keep it." Helios repeated, softer this time as he took a step closer to Krissy. "It would be fitting if we ended this where it began. On this train. You, me, and a chocolate frog." With his free hand, he produced a packaged chocolate frog from his robes and slipped it into the girls hand.

Surely this would be where he walked away. To walk out of her life as casually as he walked in almost six years ago. He was the sun that rised and chased away the rain in her eyes, now it seemed it was time for him to set and the rain to fall again.

"This would not make a very happy ending now, would it?"

Krissy looked at this boy, who for some inexplicable reason she loved. "No, it wouldn't be very happy, but any ending with yeh can never be happy. Please don't leave Helios..." Her hands were shaking, the chocolate frog fell to the floor. Her pale face open, her heart on her sleeve she wasn't sure what to do. Begging was out of the question. What did she care? She had a fiance somewhere waiting to marry her. why was she looking at this unattainable prince with such hope. Her blue eyes searched his. "please..." she whispered.

"I hope so!" she said with a giggle. "Um... I'll try. But I don't exactly know when I'll be needing company. If you know what I mean." Chalice said as she looked down at her guitar. She turned her face back up and looked him in the face. "Thanks, that would be great. I really really appreciate how much you do for me." she said.

"Don't worry you will." Chris said and smiled. "No that's fine I mean anytime I will try to come over. And I am sure I could anytime you need me to." He told her. "It's no big deal." He told her and smiled.

Penny finally found an empty compartment. She walked in, pulled out her book and put her bag away. She sat down with a sigh. This would be the last time on the train. She has to admit Hogwarts is alot better then Durmstrang. The people are nicer. She was going to miss every thing about the school. She opened her book and started to read.

Maddox was walking the halls when he noticed Penny sitting by herself in the compartment. He smiled and pushed the door open just enough to stick his head in.

"OI! What are you doing?" He yelled to scare her out of her book.

Freya simply nodded and looked out of the window, was it her mind, or was the trip home nearly over? It sure seemed like it was, and to top it all off, her legs were killing her. "I wish I were a kid again." She said quietly and stared outside, "Childhood wasn't nearly long enough, and to think for a while that I wanted nothing more but to grow up and be on my own."
Anchor ruffled his feathers and began to groom himself as he perched on the narrow windowsill.

Penny jumped and dropped her book when Mads scared her. She grabbed up her book and threw it at him. "I was reading." she said rolling her eyes and then she gave him a smile. "Our last train ride together." she said sadly.

"No need to beg." The prince whispered in hushed tones, the owl bobbing along on his shoulder, beak shut. "I knew I was staying at Hogwarts the moment I noticed you were here. How could I resist another adventure?" Wiping a stray tear from her cheek with his thumb, those chiseled features cracked into a smile. This was the moment that artists would paint on their canvases, musicians would sing their song, or a humble writer would tell the tale of. The sun was beaming brightly in the afternoon sky when the world went dark. Such a small thing in the cosmic scheme of things, it was surely awe inspiring that the moon could appear to be resting inside the sun, transforming the larger celestial body into nothing but a golden ring in a black sky. But this story was not about the sun and the moon. This was the story of a boy and a girl. Different like day and night, coming together for one perfect moment. One breath taking kiss.

Lima was making her way through the Front of the Train when she heard a familiar voice. One that she hadn't heard in a long time. "PENNY!!" she yelled out happily as she ran in and grabbed the girl in a huge hug "I missed you so much!! Where were you?". She was sad that the first time she saw the girl in ages was on the ride home.

Then she saw that Mads was there too. "Hey, Maddox!" she said waving at him.

She was happy now.

Penny started to laugh when she hears Lima. Then before she knew it the girl was hugging her. Laughing she returned her hug. "Lima! I was hoping to see you before we got off the train. I missed you too. I was studing hardcore. That is where I was. When I study, I hide." she told her best friend. Penny suddenly realized that Lima was her second true friend. She was really going to miss her. Wiping a tear away and giggling when Lima waved at Mads, she asked Lima, "So when are you going to Frace?"

She squeezed Penny once more before she let go of her and took a seat beside her. "I know what you mean.. Studying was killing me this Term too. Though I actually got a Detention too. Can you believe that?" Sbe snorted, even though it was a bad memory.

"I'm moving as soon as I get home. I'm just getting my stuff and going. I have enough money to buy a flat there and pay for it all as is. I have all the money from my inheritance still." Wow, she was going to live in Paris. She was going to love it there so much. And she had Jacques to show her around too.

Krissy looked at him indignantly. "I am not begging...Oh." she was lost in the moment. He wasn't leaving, there was a moment of bliss that filled her as sun and moon met. It was dizzying and left her changed forever. "Oh my... Why didn't yeh tell me? How long have yeh known?" her blue eyes filled with hundreds of sparkling stars, tears swelling in her eyes. "It was yeh all along... Kayla was right." feeling dizzy Krissy leaned against the prince.

There were barely any compartments left on the train so Jai moved as fast as possible. Holding her tote in the crook of her elbows and her cat carrier in her onther hand.

Pushing open the closest compartment to her she walked in and closed it behind her.
