The owl cooed after taking the letter, and hopped to the compartment door.

She was gone a whole two seconds before Panoptes returned with a struggling chocolate frog dangling from her beak, and resumed her place on Krissys knee.

Meanwhile Helios leaned against the compartments door frame, silently waiting to be noticed.

Anna nodded when Copernicus told her the name of the book he'd been flipping through. "It sounds interesting," she commented, eyeing what she could see of the book. Underneath it all, Anna was still a bit of a bookworm. She'd been that way ever since she'd entered Hogwarts back when she was a twelve-year-old. She'd fought hard, though, to not let books and schoolwork consume her life the way it had in her first year. Nevertheless, when she was around Copernicus, she felt that in some way he might understand that aspect of her, whereas no one else would. "Such as the...what?" Anna asked, her eyebrows immediately wrinkling in confusion upon hearing the two charms Copernicus was talking about. In her mind, she ran through charm after charm after charm, trying to figure out just what those two charms were. She shook her head a bit, and then replied with, "Well, look at it as a challenge. You can reference charms that aren't so basic now, and when you get to Hogwarts, you can visit the library and check out other books on a variety of topics." Anna fidgeted in her seat. Should she continue the conversation as it was going, or would Copernicus like to venture away from books as she sometimes did, too?

Kait smiled as she listened to the girl ramble about her crush. 'Everyone embarrasses themselves them infront of the crushes at some point,' she said quietly. 'If you don't mind me asking, who is he?'

Krissy looked up at panopates. "Did yeh get lost lass?" she chuckled then noticing the chocolate frog she jumped up dumping the photo album of Greece in her lap to the floor. "Helios..." she mumbled becoming bright red in the face. "I umm... sorry I never returned yer owls.... Hey! why aren't yeh in the forest?" She was flustered and bright red. This was not how she wanted Helios to see her. Eyes full of tears her long hair pulled back into a hasty mess. She tried to compose herself as she sat and motioned for the young prince to join her.

"I suppose, but I was looking for a good reference book for my own collection," Copernicus shut the book with a definitive slap and flipped it to show the cover to her. "I just want what I thought I had paid for." A small smile seemed to tug at the corner of his mouth. "I don't suppose they teach Innie-Outie and Mushmouth at Hogwarts. They didn't at Beauxbatons either. My mother taught them to me when I first got my wand."

Muffin let out a muffled meow as he pounced off of the seat, traipsing across the compartment to jump up beside Miles. The green eyed kitten sniffed at Miles' arm, before rubbing against it and purring loudly. Evolette smiled as she watched the shows of affection. "He approves." she said to her best friend.

Her fingers locked together as her hands rested on her lap, manicured nails digging into her leg. "Well, you know I was with Terry this summer." was all she said, Miles and Hugo had both known about her summer plans with Terry before they had even happened. "Paris?" a small squeak bubbled in her throat as her pink lips formed a pout, "I didn't get to go to Paris this year." she told him, "My parents decided on a summer trip instead of a spring trip, and I chose to be with Terry."

A lot of thoughts suddenly flooded in her mind. For instance, if she had known that Terry was going to break up with her right after, would she have spent the entire summer with him, when she could have been with Hugo and Miles and in Paris? But, she knew immediately what her answer was. Yes.

Brushing her hair behind her ear, she cracked a smile at him, "How was Paris? Was it fabulous?"

With the mention of the forest, our favorite young prince shot a glance over his shoulder. Quickly returning his attention to the teary eyed girl before him, he quickly grabbed her up in his strong arms in a hug, picking her up off her feet.

"Shh.." Helios muttered. Maybe he didn't want her speaking of the forest so openly..

..or perhaps this was a moment where words were meaningless.

Krissy resisted the urge to melt into his arms and whispered "Yeh are crushing me lungs Helios" wriggling free she tried to pretend the butterflies in her stomach were simply from nerves about the coming term. looking deeply into the prince's impossible eyes she mustered a weak smile. "Yeh are looking well lad. Tell me, did yeh have a good rest of the term? a good summer?" She knew she would have to start telling people why she left in the middle of their fourth term, but she volunteered nothing. Pulling her hair band out she smoothed her long curly locks over her shoulder so she wouldn't have to look into those gorgeous eyes any longer than she could handle.

"Ahhh," Anna said, nodding her head once and still trying to shake off the confusion over the two unheard-of charms. When Copernicus slapped his book closed, Anna blinked and focused her attention on the book he was holding up. She read the title and studied the cover for a bit, trying to decide if she was familiar with the book or not. She didn't recognize it, though. Anna frowned a bit when Copernicus mentioned something about wanting from the book what he thought he'd paid for. "Maybe you can get something out of it," Anna replied, shrugging just a bit.

Anna narrowed her eyes at Copernicus when he mentioned that the Innie-Outtie and the Mushmouth hadn't been taught to him at a school, but at home instead. They both sounded...mischievous. "What...exactly...are they?" Anna asked, a bit hesitant to even ask the question.

"You can't wring butterbeer from a stone," Copernicus shrugged and tossed the book to the side, chancing a look at her again. Why was she really here? Probably looking for Plymouth. She really liked Plymouth... he'd seen that. "Innie-outie is what the housewitches call it, I think. My mum used it to flip socks and t-shirts right side out after laundry?" he prompted, as if she might recall knowing the spell afterall. "And the Mushmouth Charm, well, it's not very nice. I shouldn't say."

Barry had scurried away from the snack cart with only a few choclate frogs. He had forgot to buy anything else in the commotion about Dominic. His cat once again fuelled from the Tuna sandwhich was running far past him and ran into a compartment near the frount he followed it and in it he saw two characters. A red badged Anna and another boy who looked ok. He had a book. "Don`t touch the book Hyper" he said to the cat. Then he looked at Anna and book boy. "Hi, book person are we?"

Those two always seemed to be total opposites. When she was a mess, he was walking around in neatly pressed robes, and properly bathed for a change. That sunshine hair was a bit short this year. The choppy style, evidence that he cut it himself.

Appearences were deceiving though. Looking like a noble didn't erase the animal inside. Speaking of animals, Krissy was released from his bear hug. "I was getting bored to be honest." The Greek boy sighed as he plopped down opposite the Irish girl.

Anna watched as Copernicus tossed the book to the side and then looked up at her. She eyed him back for a moment, before blinking and glancing off to the side at absolutely nothing. This was yet another boy she couldn't quite figure out. What was it about boys that always made them so complicated to her? She couldn't read them like a book, for one. Take Copernicus for example. That look he'd given her could mean one of ten thousand things. Did he wish for her to leave? Was he glad for the company? Did he want one of the chocolate frogs hanging out of her pocket just a bit? Or worse---did he want to try the Mushmouth Charm on her?

At that thought, Anna's eyes darted back to Copernicus, and she nodded to show she had heard of the Innie-Outtie at some point. "The Mushmouth sounds...painfully embarrassing," she commented, secretly dying to know exactly what it was. "Has someone ever...or, have you ever...or, well, has someone ever performed that on you?" she asked.

"On me... yes," he admitted, turning even more brightly red. "But I would never... I wouldn't presume..." Copernicus shook himself to stop with the crazy rambling. "It is incredibly rude to cause someone to speak only in gibberish, no matter how foul they are. I have been tempted to try this charm in dueling to prevent the opponent from casting... but I haven't."

Krissy nodded. "Aye, being alone will do that to yeh." she blotted at her blue eyes and gave up. He always knew when she had been crying. Now that her hair was under control no one else would know anything was amiss.
"I spent me summer wandering Greece with me Grandfather." she let out a chuckle. "there I was trying not to think of yeh and I was surrounded by nothing but gorgeous greeks." She laughed nervously. "so I see yeh got some new robes, well I suppose yeh will `ave extra this term... did yeh not trust me to keep me promises?" She looked rather hurt at the idea of Helios not taking her for her word. Wanting him desperately was something she had to give up, but not his respect.

As Copernicus turned bright red, Anna began to feel slightly guilty for asking that last question. "Oh. I'm sorry," she mumbled. She wanted to ask why they'd performed that charm on him, but she didn't. She didn't want to embarrass him again or ask about something that was none of her business. The way Copernicus described it, the charm sounded like pure torture. Judging by the name alone, Anna imagined it was a charm used to shut someone's mouth in some way, shape, or form; but once again, she didn't ask any additional questions. Finally, Copernicus told her that the charm was actually used to cause a person to speak in complete gibberish. Anna wondered why someone would want to do such a thing to Copernicus. He seemed too polite for someone to wish for him to have a mushy mouth.

Anna's face lit up when Copernicus mentioned using the charm in a duel. "That's an interesting thought. I wonder just what would happen...," she muttered, imagining the scenario. "Although, I have to admit that I'm not that good in dueling. As a matter of fact, I've rarely ever practiced. I guess it's just...one of those things, you know," she said. Anna wasn't one to blush, but she imagined that if she was, she'd be blushing right about now. It was sort of embarrassing for her to admit that she wasn't all that great in something. "Chocolate frog?" she suddenly asked, pulling one from her pocket and holding it up. If Copernicus didn't want it, she'd probably eat it herself.

Helios was called a lot of rude things since coming to Hogwarts. Most he couldn't argue with, but oblivious he was not. With his owl burrowing in his bag, the prince stared out the window.

"Hmm..I will not inquire much about your personal business, but I feel I must know if you wandered near my home isle." Helios chose his words carefully, trying not to offend or show annoyance.

Penelope walked into the front part of the train. Looking for anyone she knew. She kept walking and eventually found Freya in a compartment.
'Hello Freya, mind if I sit down?'

"Yes, alright. Thank you," Copernicus accepted the frog and examined the frog. "Have you already got a Merlin?" He offered the card to her while considering her thoughts on dueling.

"My father insisted I take dueling lessons from the moment I got a wand, although my mother talked him out of it after a while. She doesn't believe in magical force." He blanched. "She didn't, I should say."

Krissy sighed deeply. "Yeh know yeh can jest tell me not to go buggering around yer home." Her feathers thoroughly ruffled she tried not to show it. "If yeh must know, me grandfather told me yer little island is not quite safe fer me to be visitin... as the last living Moon woman..." she burst into tears once more. She didn't want to tell people her grandmother had died so suddenly and there she just burst out with it. "Me grandfather jest wanted to show me where he had grown up is all... said he wanted me to get a grasp of Greek livin." she mumbled under her breath trying to temper her tears.

Anna smiled and happily handed one of her chocolate frogs over to Copernicus. She pulled a second one out of her pocket for herself. As she opened it, she looked up and examined the card Copernicus was offering, trying to remember whether or not she had collected that one. "Thanks. As a matter of fact, I don't," she said, finally deciding that she didn't remember having it. Anna tossed her choclate frog into her mouth and then looked down at the card that had come with it. Ugh. She already a ton of this one. "Agrippa?" she asked, offering him a card, as well.

As Anna ate, she listened to Copernicus tell about his background in dueling. The way he talked, Anna imagined that he was very good. "Wow. You'll have to teach me a bit of what you know. There's a dueling arena at Hogwarts, and a lot of the students go there to practice," she said. Then Copernicus started to talk about his mother, and Anna bit her lip when he mentioned her in the past tense. "Didn't?" she asked. Oops. Had she said that out loud? She hadn't meant to, if she did.

He was NOT going to talk about his mother, so Copernicus just pushed right on past that question. "Agrippa. Thanks. I'm actually going for an Agrippa only collection at this point, so this makes it... thirty-five, I think. I've only just started." Hm. Was that funny? It was supposed to be a bit funny.

"But regardless, I'm not much at dueling. I could have been if my father had his way, but I know just enough to be annoying about proper bowing technique." And really annoying about a lot of things, considering his useful habit of trying to offer advice and random bits of trivia.

"Always knew there was a little Greek in you." The prince spoke softly with a smile. Not the most comforting person, he should get some credit for trying, right?

Looking at Krissy, his chest swelled, but he didn't let a sigh escape.

Natasha smiled and sat down "yeah I'm first year, Natasha Lovato by the way, you could call me Nat or Sasha if you like though" she said and held out her hand.

"See you later," Hannah bid Kait farewell and left the compartment. She had seen Natasha and wanted to say hello to her.
"Hey Natasha!" she said to the first year. "We met in Diagon Alley." she hugged her.
