"Nice to meet you too."

When the compartment door suddenly opened, Anna turned around to see just who it was that had decided to join them. She smiled when she realized that it was Chris Potter, one of Gryffindor's second years. "Hey, Chris! Good to see you again! I actually think it'll be either the Arithmancy professor, Flying professor, or Potions professor. Do you have any ideas?" she asked.

Once again, Anna found herself simply nodding at Copernicus. She was actually amazed at how well thought-out all of his replies were. He was very intelligent, and Anna admired the way he seemed to try and look at every situation from every possible angle. "I guess you're right. Not too much longer now, though. I expect we'll be arriving shortly, and then you can at least see your new professors at the feast. You're a fifth year, right? Maybe we'll have some of our classes together," she said.

As Copernicus talked with Chris, Anna pulled an entire bag of Jelly Slugs out of her other pocket. She began to tug at the bag, trying to open it, but not quite managing to. Stupid bag. It seemed to sealed with some sort of unbreakable charm or something. Frowning, Anna tugged at the bag some more. She finally felt it give a bit, and she gave it one final jerk. Before she could blink an eye, the entire bag ripped open, sending all fifty or so Jelly Slugs flying throughout the compartment, most of them heading in poor Copernicus' direction.

Copernicus waited quietly for Anna to finish speaking to the younger boy. It was really no wonder Plymouth seemed so taken with her. She was quite gregarious. And had a boyfriend, so her friendliness was easy to interpret as just that. Which made her safe, which was why he could talk to her. He relaxed a little with relief upon figuring all that out.

Upon seeing Anna struggled with a bag of candy, he leaned forward and extended a hand to assist her. Without warning, the bag exploded, and he received a face and lap full of jelly slugs. Copernicus blinked as one of the slugs slid from where it stuck to his cheek down across his jaw. "Your slugs, Miss Anna." He flicked one lightly in her direction.

Reese walked to the front of the train to find a compartment since the back was all filled up.She finally came across an empty one and went inside.She set her bag down on the seat and sat down beside it.She put a lock of her brown hair behind her ear and looked down at what she was wearing.She just wore her normal old,worn out,holey clue jeans and a black shirt with white dots on it.It was a normal outfit,she would have worn a dress,but that was too flashy.Way to flashy.She looked out the window and smiled.She was headin home.She was heading to Hogwarts.

Kevin wandered up to the front of the train and saw a girl sitting alone in a compartment and said "Hey mind if i join you"

Reese took her attention off the window and to the boy that asked if he can join her."Oh,sure.Come on it,"she said."I'm Reese."She smiled at the boy.

Kevin entered the compartment and said "Hi Reese i am Kevin"

Anna's eyes grew as wide as quaffles as she watched the damage unfold before her very eyes. Poor Copernicus had only been trying to be polite and help her open the bag, and look what she'd ended up doing to him! Anna sat, eyes still wide and face frozen in shock, and just stared as one of the Jelly Slugs slid down Copernicus' cheeks. If there'd been an Invisibility Cloak nearby, Anna imagined she would have darted underneath it and stayed there for the remainder of the journey. As luck would have it, such a cloak was, of course, not available. Without moving her face one bit, Anna's eyes darted from left to right. What she was looking for, she didn't know, but it seemed better to do that than to stare at Copernicus.

When he flicked a slug on her, she suddenly felt the giggles coming on, and before long, she was laughing lightheartedly at what she'd done. "Oh, Copernicus! I'm terribly sorry! They just...I just...I mean...it just. Oh, forget it," she said. "I have a mess to clean up."

Reed walked around the train looking for a place to sit. He was looking though the windows to see if he could find an empty compartment. He came arcoss one that he couldn't see through cleary so he opened the door to see if it was empty. Instead of being empty he found that it was actually occupied. "Oh I'm sorry, I thought it was empty" he told the girls appologeticaly.

Kait looked up from looking through her trunk and turned to face the boy who had walked in. 'It's quite alright,' she told him. 'Would you like to join us?' she asked.

"Or... eat up?" Copernicus eyed one of the slugs in his lap and decided that the flavor was probably not going to be totally obnoxious. He sucked on it as he piled the remainder into his hand. "You know, I have heard..." Oh, that was probably not a story to share. "Nevermind."

Just as Reed was about to leave he was invited to stay. "Erm.. Ok sure" He said walking into the compartment. He took a seat and looked at the girl that had invited him in. "I'm Reed" He said introducing himself. She looked older than him but then again what did he know.

Anna started to stand up, but when Copernicus mentioned that they could eat up instead, Anna raised her eyebrows, considering the option. She turned and eyed the few Jelly Slugs left in her bag, then watched as Copernicus began to eat a Jelly Slug that had fallen into his lap. It was a shame to let a bag full og Jelly Slugs go to waste. "Okay," Anna simply said. Smiling and then sitting down to enjoy the candy. If she and Copernicus didn't watch it, they'd both be extremely hyper by the time they arrived at the school. Anna wasn't sure how Caopernicus would handle consuming large amounts of Chocolate Frogs and Jelly Slugs, but she knew she'd be practically be climbing the walls if she ate too much.

Anna swallowed her candy and then eyed Copernicus. "No...what were we going to say?" she asked. He couldn't just start to say something and then tell her nevermind. She really wanted to know what he'd heard.

"Hello Kevin,"Reese said."It's nice to meet you."She noticed the boy was quite small enough to be a first year."Is this you first years at Hogwarts,Kevin?"

Kevin smiled and said "Yeah this is my first year Reese what year are you?"

Copernicus offered his jelly slugs to the boy, Chris Potter. "I... was going to say that I heard that if you lick the jelly slug before you throw it, the saliva will make it even stickier, and it will adhere to the surface like it's been glued. That's why they're so hard to chew..." He rolled his eye, as if to say 'can you believe anyone actually does that?'"

Anna stared at Copernicus, anxiously waiting to hear what it was that he claimed to have heard. Whatever it was, it sounded really interesting. Maybe he'd heard who the headmaster or headmistress was. Or maybe he'd heard a tale or two about one of the new professors at Hogwarts. Or maybe... Anna burst into a fit of giggles when he finally told her what he'd heard. She had to admit, hanging out with Copernicus was really a lot of fun. "Ewwww," she said, wrinkling up her nose. She knew Copernicus probably didn't find it the least bit disgusting, but he was a boy, and she was a girl. Girls just found things like that a little yucky. Funny, but yucky.

"Let's try it out!" Anna exclaimed, eyeing the opposite wall of the train. She held up a slug and eyed Copernicus, wondering if he'd actually participate in tossing a saliva-induced slug on the wall of the Hogwarts Express. "On the count of three," she said, licking her slug.

"If it doesn't come off or it stains the wall magenta, we're going to have to take responsibility for it," Copernicus agreed. He licked his own brightly colored jelly slug. "One."

Anna raised her eyebrows and gave Copernicus a mischievous smirk. "If you say so...but if it doesn't come off or stains the wall magenta, I'm blaming Dominic Denton for it," she said. She shrugged slightly and licked her slug again. She wanted to make sure none of the saliva dried up or dripped away or something while she talked. "Twwoooo," she said.

Chris smiled and took a slug,. "Ive never tried it either lets all three do it." he picked one up and licked it and then laughed waiting for the signal.

"I don't know who that is... so I'm happy to blame him as well," Copernicus shook his candy before holding it high. "Three!"

He snapped his wrist and the soggy piece of gelatin went sailing against the far wall of the car. It hung there... which wasn't that unusual considering it was a jelly slug.

Chris smiled as Copernicus said three and he flung his also which landed only a little bit away from his. 'Wow, we rock!" he laughed in a fake overly excited way. And laughed as he gave him a high five.

"Oh, the more the merrier. The only thing better then us tossing two slugs onto the wall would be us tossing three slugs onto the wall," she said. She watched as Chris licked his own Jelly Slug, preparing for the students versus wall food fight .

"Okay, Dominic Denton it is then. Hear that, Chris? If the Jelly Slugs stain the wall or won't come off, Dominic Denton was responsible, okay?" Anna asked. She turned back to Copernicus, waiting for him to call out the signal that would send the three Jelly Slugs flying towards the wall. Anna held her Slug high, and when she heard the signal, she flicked her wrist as hard as she could. She watched as her candy flew through the air and slammed hard against the far wall. She collapsed onto the seat in another fit of giggles when she saw that the Jelly Slug did indeed stick. It didn't look like it was coming off anytime soon either.

"Oh,I'm a fourth year Slytherin,"Reese replied."What house are thinking of being in?"

"Nice!!" Chris said as he gave Anna a high five also and then roled around on the floor next to her laughing. "That was awesome." he laughed
