"Let's try the infirmary," Copernicus was NOT about to feel guilty because Plymouth had an ear mullet. No. He did not. Well, only a little bit. Almost not at all. "If she's busy, then I'll do it for you."

"Well, to the infirmary it is... For you guys, but I refuse to wander these stairs any longer. It took me forever to get this far down from the seventh floor... I think I am just going to make my way to the library and start on that alphabet. It was very nice to see you both again, and to meet you Liz," he rubbed each of there heads, one after the other in goodbye. "Until we meet again and hopefully it won't be because of something horrible like Bowtruckles stealing our underwear and hanging them on the whomping willow for all to see!"

He gave a quick wave before disappearing through a nearby door..

After Varius's good-bye with rumpling their hair, Liz laughs a little. "An interesting fellow, that's for sure!"

"We could go to the common room if you wish, Plymouth, but I think it would be easier just to go to the hospital wing." Liz says quietly. "I was there last year for umm, sort of the same thing just in a different area, and umm, with slugs. But they took care of it very quickly."

Copernicus couldn't help but give her a scandalized look. That was... disgusting! And probably a bit more information than he needed. "Err... what happened? Did a professor hex you? Do professors do that a lot?"

"Oh, no it wasn't a professor, it was during a duel actually in the arena. A friend of mine and I were having a little too much fun during the duel, and I umm, got hit." Liz stammers at the end. Quietly she says "I've only heard of professor's, well other two years ago, when our headmis... I mean only during detention."

"If you were looking for the Common Room still, it's actually up on the seventh floor, three floors above us..." Liz quickly recovers.

"I just want to go see my room," Plymouth admitted. "The hair isn't that bad and I guess it keeps my ears warm. I'll just deal with it. Lead the way, Liz?" Plymouth was giving her a funny look, too, trying to not think too hard on her previous hairy condition or picture her with a beard. He failed.

"Sure, if you really wish to go, there instead." Liz shifts her bag back to her other shoulder again. "Are you ready then?"

"I knew that Headmistress was as dodgy as her brother," Copernicus muttered as he offered Liz his arm. "Lead the way, fair maiden. And we'll deal with the hairy man up in the common room."

Blushing, Liz takes Copernicus's arm. "Actually it was the headmistress, from Belle's school, when the ministry decided we should be segregated into a boys school and a girls school."

Turning to make sure Plymouth wouldn't be left out. She offers her other arm. "Are you ready to see your new common room? Assuming you didn't get there last night, that is," She finishes with a small laugh.

"Gagggggg meeeeeeeeee," Plymouth sang from behind the "fair maiden" and his big-headed step brother. He shoved his hands in his pockets and followed. "You two go ahead. I'll just hang back here. Pout in peace."

Her eyes opening a little wider, but choosing to ignore his comment Liz replies "Nope your coming with, or we're not going." Liz finishes with a small laugh.

As they made their way out of the Library, Lyra turned around to look at Theo. Maybe he was still a little scared and him wanting to see Peeves was his first step at being brave but he needed a bit of help. She was slightly 'if'y' on the holding hands part but she didn't want to let him down in not showing that she would be beside him. "Umm...how about we walk next to each other for a bit," she said as she bit her lower lip then turned down to look at Theo and smiled. "I will be right beside you in case we see anything...unusual. Okay?" There that sounded okay to her, now lets hope he didn't take it the wrong way.

Anna turned around to see that Lyra and Theo had followed her into the corridors. Noticing that her two friends were walking very close, Anna blinked and then raised her eyebrows at Lyra. "Well, good to see you two have become close friends," Anna commented. She listened as Lyra convinced Theo that it was better to walk alongside one another. Anna wondered what else Theo had suggested. Maybe he wanted a piggy back ride? Anna shook her head, having no clue what those two were up to. "Well, we didn't find out too much more in there. I did meet another ghost, though. To answer your question from earlier, yes, Lyra, I've met Peeves. Quite an...interesting encounter, too," Anna remarked.

Theo had followed her, like a little puppy. His big eyes, staring on her intently. He was smiling. A little happy boy, with his big girlfriend. His little face fell. She didn't want to hold his hand. She didn't like him. Maybe it was too soon. He didn't know. All he knew was that she didn't like him. "Ummm ok," he murmured very softly. Something felt wrong, but he didn't know what. But it made him sad. He didn't like growing up.

Lyra looked to Theo and smiled as Banana said they were becoming close. "I like Theo," she said with a smile and winked at him. "He's pretty cool to hang out with." She stopped right there as Anna began to speak of her encounter with Peeves. "Oh really? Do tell more."

*Gabben walked down the hall with a few books under his arm. As he walked down he saw a girl he had met a few times.*
"Hi, Lyra isn't it?"

Anna continued to remain confused as she watched Theo's reaction to Lyra's words. She didn't bother asking what they were up to. Whatever it was looked like it was fizzling out anyway. "Theo is pretty cool," Anna agreed. "Although, I haven't really ever gotten the chance to hang out with him like I am now." Anna nodded when Lyra mentioned Peeves. "Okay, but prepare to be disgusted," she said.

"I was walking along the second floor corridor earlier when I came upon Peeves, Reese from Slytherin, and Rose from Gryffindor. Peeves had just dropped dungbombs onto both Reese and Rose's head," Anna explained. Anna glanced up, making sure she hadn't accidentally jinxed something and managed to summon Peeves or something like that.

Theo blushed slightly. He had never been called cool before. That was always Nia. He was the wimpy smaller brother. "I will tell you anything you want to know about me," he said to Anna.

Theo's mouth dropped open at what Peeves had done. It was disgusting. "I don't like the sound of him," he said. He didn't actually know what dungbombs were, but they sounded gross.

Lyra heard her name and turned her head. "Oh hey, Gabben," she smiled and nodded her head yes. "You are good!" At least someone remembered her name, but if he didn't remember, then she would have to make it stick so he would never forget. "Oh you must be studying already." She noticed all the books he was carrying and new that she should be doing the same but that was one of those things that 'if' she didn't have anything else going on, then she would.

She then wrinkled her nose as if she smelled something funny as Anna began to tell what Peeves, the Naughty One, did to a couple of students. "Oh! That is disgusting," she agreed with Theo and now began to look around the corridor as they walked. It seemed as though Anna had the same thought. She didn't want a dungbomb dropped on her head. She would probably stink for days. "Ewwwww! How could you stand the smell?"

*Gabben looked down and then rubbed the back of his neck.* "Ummm yeah I guess you could say that. My hope is that if enough people see me with a book they'll think I'm smart."
*He nodded to her robes.* "I didn't know you were in my house." *Gabben knew he sounded stupid but he was to tired to care at the moment. It was just good to talk to someone other then his cousins. He saw the others around her and held out his free hand to them.*
"Hi, I'm Gabben."

Kayla walked along the corridor on the fourth floor not too sure of where she was headed at the moment. A few people up ahead caught her attention...well actually the two girls did. Lyra and Anna, her two newest friends and troublemakers.

She sidled up beside Lyra and spoke to her out of the corner of her mouth. "What's this? Not getting up to any mischief or were you waiting until the four of us were together?" Kayla smirked at the older girl and turned to Anna. "I knew you wouldn't be too far away" she said nodding her head towards the Gryffindor.

Noticing the boys, Kayla smiled. "Hello Gabben. Not out terrorising Prefects today?" she gave him a wink and looked at the younger boy, who she had seen before but had never actually met. "Hi there!"

"No, you wont let me remember." *He winked at her and pointed to the book.*
"Trying to look smart at the moment. Is it working?"

"Nice to see I have some control over my Huffie's" she chuckled lightly. At his question, Kayla made a big play at giving his request some serious thought and she cocked her head to the side and her eyes looked him up and down a couple of times. "Hmm...I think it needs something else" she gave him a smirk and raised her eyebrow, to see if he would take the bait.

*Gabben rolled his eyes at her about having control. Oh just you wait...*
"It looks like your just looking me up at the moment."
*He raised his eye brown and smirked at her.* "Really? Like what?"
*He wasn't sure what she was up to but he'd play along.*

Kayla suppressed a smile and walked over to him. "You don't mind do you?" without waiting for an answer, she straightened his tie and slipped the knot closer to his throat. She then reached up and flattened his hair down a little, she stood back to get a look at her handiwork. "Now that's better...very studious but still good looking" she bit her lip to keep from laughing.
