"Oh, I'll help, too, sir!" Anna exclaimed, grabbing ahold of a gooey broom and making her way to the pink solution. Anna dipped the broom into the solution, making sure to get enough on it so that it could be properly cleaned, but not so much that she was overdoing it. Afterwards, Anna took the broom off to the side and began to gently massage the marshmallows out the tail twigs. It seemed to be taking a while, though, but Anna supposed it was all worth it if she didn't want the broom to be ruined. Anna found herself picking up each individual twig and cleaning it thoroughly before moving on to another twig. When the tail was clean, Anna moved on to the handle, running her hands up and down the wood while letting the solution work its magic. When the broom was all spiffy and clean, Anna stood it upright to dry and then moved to get another broom.

Copernicus seated himself on the grass and set to cleaning the broom he'd ridden. The whole thing was a mess, although at least the twigs on his weren't as crusted and sticky as some of the others. He glanced up to watch those still in the sky before working back on his broomstick.

Qaz grabbed a towel and dunked it in the cleaning solution then brought it over to Paris. 'Here you go.' Qaz rung out the towel on top of Paris and watched the pink ooze slide down her. 'Just a sec and I'll be back with more'

Qaz went over and dunked the towel again...and squeezed it out over Paris again. 'That should have you unstuck. Give it a try.'

Vindictus had prepared six more buckets of the solution when he saw that Paris was stuck and that she was the last to land. He pointed his wand at the false sky and the marshmallows vanished. Then with another flick of his wand, his grass and stadium was marshmallow-free. Except for the students who were covered in muck. He grabbed a towel that was soaked in the cleaning solution and hurried over to the Slytherin. "Is that better?" he asked and handed her a towel.

"Dip the tail twigs into the solution and move the broom up and down - just don't stir," he called out.

Sara giggled as Cela answered. "And I bet you enjoyed that, didn't you?" She said, grinning to Cela while finishing up her cleaning. "Finally I'm all clean." She said and she shakes her hair to make sure all the goo is off.

Cela dipped and dunked the broom in the pink stuff, "What would happen if you stirred?" Cela wanted to know, raising one hand.

Oooh the marshmallow was losing it's stick pretty quickly!

"Sure. Woulda been better if it was caramel though." Cela told Sara cheerfully. She continued dunking until she was pretty sure that no more dunking was necessary, so she looked around for a cloth or something to get the goop off the broom.

Uh oh Herminny thought I guess I gotta do this all over again as she garabbed her broom and realized she had done a rotten job of cleaning it and followed Vinductus's instruction and dipped the tail end of her broom in the solution and she noticed that worked way better and she was done cleaning her broom in no time but stuck around cause she felt like it.

"Ohhh, caramel. Yum. It would better if it was caramel and marshmallows together. Heavenly!" Sara said dreamily. And now after all these excirsce and talk about food, she was starting to get hungry. "I wonder what's for dessert up at the castle" She thought.

All the talk of food was making Qaz very hungry. What she wouldn't give for a cheeseburger right now...or pizza...mustn't think about food!

Qaz looked around to see if anybody else needed assistance.

Whew. This was it. Her last time. Her robes definitely weren't the cleanest, but her hair and goggles were still clean. She flew a bit more careful this time, knowing if she tried to zip through the mess she would risk getting completely weighed down in marshmallow goop. The single marshmallows continued to rain down on her as she returned to the place where the quaffles were flying.

She sort of bounced back and forth with her eyes on the machine. It launched a quaffle that headed a few feet away from her. She glanced up at the sky and saw a frightful sight - a large blob of the marshmallow creme heading to the exact spot across from her where the quaffle was launched to. She had to make a split second decision to head in that direction - but instead of just moving to the side and willingly getting hit, she flew forwards and barely made the snatch. And she was clean.

Suddenly becoming full of herself, she tucked the quaffle under her arm, got low against her broom, and flew as fast as she could towards the hoops. Her eyes were locked on her last target that she needed to score in: the right hoop. But to her horror, she felt a large glob of the creme land with a hard THUD! on the middle of her back. Out of anger more than anything, she threw the quaffle with all her might into the right hoop. She scored, of course, but pulled up just in time to notice two things happen: one, the goop had splashed up to the bottom of her hair; and two, the marshmallow cloud above the pitch suddenly disappeared. She had almost made it.

Still angry, she landed in the red rectangle safety zone near everyone else and glared around. If any of you even say anything... Her eyes spoke it all. She tossed her goggles aside and began to scrub fiercely at her robes with a towel. "This is so unhappy," she grumbled.

Lyra looked up and smiled. "I'll help as well," she said, eying the PINK stuff that was used to clean the brooms. To make sure that her own was cleaned properly, she walked over to the PINK stuff and did as the professor said in the proper way of cleaning.

"Sir, is your head feeling better," she asked making small talk since the last time she had seen the professor was at the mirror and sick.

"If you stir the broom in this cleaning solution, you'll end up loosening the twigs and they'll fall off the handle. That's why you need to slowly dip the broom in and out of the solution. When you can't see the marshmallow any more, then blast the twigs with the Aguamenti spell to rinse the solution off the broom. Once the solution is rinsed off, grab some towels and carefully pat the broom dry," Vindictus said and started cleaning a broom that someone left lying in the muck.

Qaz walked over to Rebecca with a towel soaked in the cleaning solution and started to help her clean up. She knew by the look on her face that it was better to remain silent. She just kept wiping.

Then she went over a got a couple dry towels and brought them back over to Rebecca and just held them out silently.

She was waddling and trying not to fall over as she tried to make it to the tent before another glop of that stuff fell on her. "Oh thank you sir," She said as Professor Vindictus handed her a towel covered in the pink stuff. She was able to pry herself off her broom.

Cela examined the tail twigs and used her fingers to pull loose some of the larger clumps of marshmallow. It had lost its stick, but it the clumps hadn't quite dissolved.

"Caramel and marshmallow." Cela repeated, in a tone equally as dreamy as Sara's. She'd think about it all properly later.

"Oh that makes sense." Cela nodded, glad she was capable with the Aguamenti spell. She patted herself down until her fingers found her wand, she pulled it out and cast, "Aguamenti!" dousing the twigs with water. Once she had finished the rinsing and stopped the water flow, she fastened her hair into a bun, using her wand to hold it steady. Celandine held up her broom and used a clean towel to gently mop up the moisture and pat it dry.

"Should I do another?" Cela offered.

Oh, Anna hadn't done that. She better get back over there and finish the last two steps of the cleaning process on the broom she'd done. Walking back over to the broom she'd stood upright, Anna grabbed ahold of it and carried it off to the side. Raising her wand, she rinsed it with Aguamenti. Afterwards, she grabbed a few towels and gently patted it dry. There, that one seemed to be properly taken care of now. Smiling at her progress, Anna turned and headed to get a second broom.

Once she had gotten herself unstuck from the broom she went over to the cleaning solution to clean her broom and help with the cleaning of the other broom.s She dunked her tail twigs in the solution, being carful not to stir it.

She pulled it out of the solution and doused it with water from her wand. She took the towel and wiped off the creme from her handle. It wasn't sticky anymore but it was clumping up something fierce.

After getting all cleaned up herself, she looked at her broom. It was mess. All covered in goo. She took some of the Pink stuff and started to clean off the goo from her broom.

"If you see any other brooms that have marshmallow stuck to them, feel free to clean them 'cause I don't want to get ants in the Broomshed over the summer," Vindictus answered and handed his partially-cleaned broom to Cela. He walked over to inspect the cleaning process. "Good job, Herminny," he said and smiled warmly at the young girl. "And thank you for inquiring about my excruciating headache, Miss Lyra. It's thankfully gone as is my sugar poisoning episode."

Becca took her robes off and flipped them around to scrub at the horrid mess that covered them. And then a member of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team came over. At first Becca assumed she was going to make a snide comment, because that's what Becca probably would've done to anyone else, but the girl was actually really nice and was helping her. Aw. "Thanks... Qaz." That was her name, right? Hm. If not, she just looked really stupid. She accepted the towel. The pink stuff that the towels were soaked in really seemed to work, thankfully. Once her robes were a bit better, she delicately took her hair and patted it with the towel.

She sighed. "Really. This stuff is awful. I'll never look at marshmallows the same way ever again." And when Qaz returned again with dry towels, Becca gave her a sincere look of gratitude. "Ugh. You're the best."

When she was finally much cleaner, she put her robes back on and held them around her tightly. Then looked at her broom. The twigs were completely covered in ickyness, and the handle was just a bit too sticky for her liking. She should probably take care of that before it became impossible to touch...

So, as Vindictus gave the instructions on how to clean the broom, Becca followed them closely. She took her broom and dipped the tail twigs gently in the pink solution, lifting it in and out slowly, careful not to stir the solution at all. She gazed around at everyone else as they did the same thing, still bitter about her hair.

Cela took the broom Vindictus handed to her and continued cleaning it where he had left off. It was tiring, but kind of relaxing too.

"You got poisoned by sugar?" Cela stared at the professor. How was that possible? Cela ate more sugar than anyone she knew and she'd never been poisoned.

"Yeah, ate too much of the stuff," Vindictus replied and started to assemble the clean brooms on the broom rack. "Worst feeling, ever."

She got her broom cleaned and she laid it back into its case. She spotted a stray broom that someone had just left on the ground. Still covered in that goop. She picked it up and brought it back too the bucket. She sat down in the grass and started wiping off the handle with the towel. It was so relaxing cleaning and polishing brooms.

Becca removed her broom from the solution and whipped out her wand. She pointed it at the broom and spoke clearly, "Aguamenti!" She did this a few more times to rinse off the pink liquid before it was clean. Then, she took a dry towel and dabbed at the broom delicately until dry. When it was, she put it with the other clean brooms. "Just so you know, Mister Professor Vindictus sir, I thought that last task was... well, to put it lightly, I got marshmallow creme. In my hair." She stared at him. "I hope you're happy." And with that, she headed off to go shower for a long time, even though she was already clean. She just needed to wash the feeling off.

"How much is too much? I didn't think there was such a thing as too much sugar." Cela frowned and finished up the broom, handing it to Professor Vindictus. She looked around for another icky one. Only bad thing Cela could think of regarding sugar was when you got jittery cos you wanted some reaaaal bad and then the effects started wearing off and you got really sleepy and a bit grumpy.
