"Oh it was good." Cela agreed, wrapping her arms tight around Copernicus just like Vindictus had asked.

"Um?" Copernicus glanced down at Cela's hand and then behind himself at Cela. UM! "I think I'm all set, actually. You'll just end up getting stuck to me, and... we were trying to avoid that with the whole electroshocky thing, right?" Aw. It was like the stickiest hug ever. Could he keep her?

"Right but this is much nicer than being all zappy," Cela told him, "besides, it's too late now!" true enough, she'd either be stuck to him or she wouldn't.

"Thanks, Qaz!" she said. "Hot chocolate does sound pretty tasty right about now!" Yumm. If Anna had her way, the entire world would be made up of yummy, tasty, heavenly chocolate! Anna took her time cleaning up herself and the broom, making sure all the marshmallowy bits were out of the twigs. When all was done, Anna carried her towel to the place they were supposed to leave it, and then headed back to the group of students assembled near the professor.

Walking up, Anna said, "Oh, I'll get it! Coming, Cope!" Anna gently laid her broom off to the side and then approaching Cope. Placing her hands on the broomstick, Anna began tugging. Hopefully they could get poor Cope free from the broom in time to take the rest of the final!

SPLAT

A big glob on the creme landed on Paris' head. "Oh thats great," She said as she felt the creme sliding down all over her face and body. She was glad she was wearing her goggles. But her broom was moving slower than normal with the extra weight of the gloop. She waited till the machine shot out a quaffle. She caught it easy enough. It was covered in the creme and it stuck to her hands. So it was hard to hold on to the quaffle and her broom. It was too sticky to tuck under her arm, but she managed to make it over to the hoops.

"Ouch," she yelped as it felt like the quaffle was taking the skin off her hand as she pulled it with her other hand. She took aim and with all her might she threw the quaffle, well it stuck to her hand and before she knew it she was pulled off the broom with the quaffle. It sailed through the goal hoop still attached to her hand and she barely made it through and then she was free falling to the soft grass below. This was going to hurt.

The broom pulled off into Anna's hands, and Cope gave her a grateful look. "You know, this is all just a bit... messy. Because I've lost my broom appendage and gained a Cela appendage." He rested his hands lightly over hers where they met in front. "Are you stuck, Cel?"

"Yes." Cela mumbled into Cope's back, "... We should... shuffle?" She tried to nudge him forward to the shelter but only succeeded in sticking herself even tighter. "Only one thing better than sticky marshmallow."

Herminny quickly caught another quaffle and leaned back on her broom to goup which it did very slowly and finally after what seeemed like years she made it high enough to make her seccond attempt at throwing the quaffle in the hoop but it would be qute the challenge she thought cause I am a bit lower then last time and I can't get any higher cause oi all the marshmallows so my only hope is to throw the quaffle as hard as I can going up which she does and somehpw the quaffle goes through the goal hoop and she smiled and leaned in and went down for one more quaffle speediing up hoping it would cause some of the goo to come off or at least make her manuevering around it more affective.

Becca thought Vindictus was crazy. She peered up at the giant marshmallow behemoth juggernaut thing that hovered over the pitch. Well this should be terribly exciting. And when this was over, Becca would probably smack Max for making her get dirty and look awful. And if it didn't come out of her hair easily... oh man. He would really get it.

So, a bit hesitantly, Becca observed a few others go off and face the mayhem. They weren't getting pelted too bad, so maybe she would be okay? She kicked off and flew off into the air, keeping a sharp eye on the falling marshmallows and dodging anything that came near to her. She kept swerving until a quaffle came her way, which caught her a little off guard, but she caught it easily. And a glob of marshmallow goop landed on her outstretched arms. YUCK.

She knew if she didn't finish this task fast it would become nearly impossible towards the end. She zoomed towards the hoops swiftly. For not always being the best on a broom, she still had great speed. Upon getting close enough and being pelted with a few marshmallows that didn't slow her down, she chucked the quaffle into the left hoop with ease. Brilliant. But it could only get harder from there.

"Okay, hold on," Cope leaned forward so that Cela's legs were picked clear off the ground before he shuffled his way toward Vindictus's shelter. It was only a few short steps before they were undercover, and Cope straightened so Cela could put her feet back on the ground. "Ta-da!"

She picked herself up after sailing through the center hoop and climbed back on her broom. She was sticky all over and now grass was was sticking to her. She knew she looked silly, but it was fun. SPLAT

Another glob of creme landed on her.

She got back on her broom and caught another quaffle as it hurled toward her face. And of course it stuck to her, but she managed it to pry it off her hands and hold it with just her fingers and she climbed into the air and toward the left goal. This one flew through the left hoop without any trouble, but another falling dollop of creme hit Paris in the back and winded her.

Vindictus hurried over to Cela and Cope with a bucket of something that smelled like bubblegum. And it was pink. "Close your eyes tightly and hold your breath on three. One . . . two . . . three!" Sure to his word on three, he tipped the entire contents of the bucket over Cela and Cope.

EEeeeeep! Cela giggled into the marshmallow stickiness that coated Cope's back as he lifted her off the ground. Once her feet were steady she waited for someone to help clean them off and kind of wished they wouldn't. Who cared about finishing the final exam when you got to have sticky hugs with Copernicus Kettleburn?

Woahhhh what was that!? Cela let out a peal of laughter as pink goop was suddenly all over her. Oooh it was slippery!

Qaz laughed out loud when she saw Cela and Cope get doused. She was so glad that it wasn't her.

Heminnny leaned back and inched upward a little faster then before cause forcing the broom to go a little faster had aleviated some of the gooon her broom and some how got just high enough to make her third attempt at throwing the quaffle and she goes for it and gets the quaffle into the hoop with ease and thinks yes I got all three quaffles in the first time as she leaned into her broom for a landing in the red rectangle on the pitch glad to be on the ground and away from the storm of sticky marshmallows.

Lyra grabbed another towel and began cleaning off her broom. It was a good thing they were under the protection thingy because now she could take her hair down and watch as the other students made their way in covered in goo. She removed the wand from her hair, allowing it to fall down her back. She was good as there was not much goo in her hair to remove. Using the towel she got for the broom, she began to run it thru her hair, removing anything that was not supposed to be in there.

Once she finally finished with herself, then she turned her attention to the boom making sure to get into every spot to make sure the marshmallow stuff was gone. She knew how the professor liked his things and she was going to make sure that they were kept just the way she found them.

The pink goop slid over them, and he immediately felt Cela's weight slide back slightly, indicating she was no longer stuck to him. That was good... but he put his hands over hers for one last squeeze before letting go. "Thank you, Professor. I'm sorry I made such a mess."

Sara just laughed at the whole exchange between Cela and Cope while she was cleaning up. "Can you say awkward?" She said out loud to no one in particular.

Cela slid her hands free slowly and reached for some dry towels to get the pink stuff off. Mmmm. She could still smell marshmallows and bubblegum.

"Awkward." Cela answered, quite chirpy as she used the towel to dry her hair.

"That was soooooo fun, Professor!"

He ran over to the table and brought a few dry towels over to Cela and Cope. "It was the only way to unstick 'ya but you smell so sweet now!" Vindictus grinned and he watched as more marshmallow-covered students entered the area beneath his simple shelter. "That was the last task of the final, and you're excused if you don't want to hang around and help me clean the brooms for a few more points."

He used his wand to fill up the bucket with more of the pink solution. "Here's more of the cleaning solution if you need it."

"Oooh I'll help." Cela answered, taking some more towels and finishing up drying herself off. She looked at the brooms and made a face, "Boy those tail twigs sure are sticky. Is there a special way to get it all? Or do we just dunk and go?"

So Becca headed back off in the direction of where the quaffles were being launched. She had avoided the goop pretty well so far and was simply getting annoyed with the marshmallows that continued to rain down on her. She sort of just wanted to eat some, much like some of the others were. But it was no time for eating - she could do that later. Now was the time to get this over with.

She readied herself to catch another quaffle as she kept her gaze on the sky, careful to move out of the way of any of the marshmallow creme. She really was okay with whole marshmallows pelting her. But the thought of getting covered in sticky marshmallow goop was... terrifying, digusting, and completely dreadful.

Another one came her way, and she kept her gaze on the sky until the very last moment, then caught the quaffle with ease and took off like a bullet towards the hoops. Her mindset was that if she went fast enough, maybe she just wouldn't get hit.

Wrong.

As she went faster, she felt blobs of marshmallow creme land on her robes. "Oh this is so not sanitary," she groaned, keeping the quaffle under her arm to keep it from getting covered in the mess. When she was close enough, she launched it into the center hoop. There was nothing on it to weigh it down, so it soared in beautifully. One left. And her hair was still clean. This could be wonderful.

Qaz grabbed one of the sticky brooms and dunked its tail in the bucket. She then tipped the broom on end so that the pink goop slid down the handle.

Using a dry towel, she began to dry the broom, starting with the twigs. It was rather tedious work, but Ravenclaw needed all the points they could get.

After a few minutes, she put the now clean broom with the other clean brooms.

One last hoop and then she could jump into a hot bath and soak. She felt itchy and sticky all over. Her hair was a mess and her ears were clogged with that creme stuff. She everything sounded muffled. And she was totally stuck to her broom as she had to kick off hard form the ground to lift off. Her broom wasn't calibrated to carry the extra weight and it was slow and sluggish. She leaned forward and it managed to pick up a bit of speed as another quaffle hurled toward her.

She caught it easy enough. She pointed her broom toward the right goal as a chirping bird out stripped her. She almost flattened herself on her broom handle to get to go faster, but she was drenched in that creme crap and it was weighing her down.

It felt like it took 15 minutes to get to the hoop. RIP! Her school robes tore from her body and remained on the handle as she lifted herself off the broom to throw the quaffle through the right hoop. It slowly sailed through. Now she could land.

She landed, but she was still stuck. "Um help, please." She called.

Herminny quicky walked over and grabbed a bucket of cleaning solution and a towel and first cleaned herself a bit then got to work cleaning her broom scrubbing it thoroughly untill she felt it was done and then waited to see if anyone had left leaving there messy broom for someone else to clean.
