Ponessa threw back her head, and a laugh echoed throughout the corridor, "Full-house, eh?"

Ponessa cast, protego, and turned, so that the Hurling hex was sent straight at the Gryffindor, who had just been sent two trip hexes.

"Well well.. just the person I was looking for. It's nice of you to join the party here Kayla." Amanda said with a smirk. She heard her mutter several words which happened to be the incantation for the jelly-legs jinx. Too easy to defend. "Protego" She said in barely a whisper, just flicking her wrist slightly to cast the shield charm, hopefully she would be good for now and not have to defend anymore oncoming attacks.

Ponessa cast, protego, and turned, so that the Hurling hex was sent straight at the Gryffindor, who had just been sent two trip hexes.
"Yeah it does a lil-" was all she managed to say before she was hit with a tripping jinx. "Well that hurts a little too."
She pulled herself up then fell again being hit by another tripping jinx. She looked over to see Kayla Winters. She sent a stinging hex over to Kayla. Then a Jelly-Brain jix to Amanda, then Pronessa. Maybe that would give her time to think for a second...hopefully if it hit them. She managed to get back on her feet before any other jinxes had been shot at her, but she casted a shield around her just in case. Which thankfully blocked the hurling junx that had been shot at her.

Ponessa turned again, as Alex shot some undefined hex at her, so that when she spell deflected, it would bounce across to the Hufflepuff. "You know I love you guys, right?" She asked casually...right before trying Expelliarmus at both Amanda and Ms. Hufflepuff.

Cadence smiled at him. It's okay. She bent down and put the chain and lock back in her bag, and stood back up. So, do you have any plans for the day?

"You really need to stop being so predictable with your jinxes Allie." Amanda said with a smirk. This was fun, maybe a little too much fun though. "Protego" She muttered and the shield charm deflected the jinx. She rolled her eyes, she was ready for whatever Ponessa and Allie were going to send at her.

"Hmm..if that was true Ponessa, you would not have tried to disarm me right now, that is not what we are supposed to be doing." Amanda said, raising her left eyebrow. She ducked out of the way of the disarming spell quickly.

Camira had been looking for someone to play this game with and it looked as if though she'd found the perfect person. Ravvie girl seemed distracted. Smirk on her face, she shot out a trip-jinx aimed directly at the girl's feet. It was only fair to start out easy, right?

"It wouldn't be the same otherwise" Kayla chuckled and was surprised that the girl didn't fire back at her. Tut-tut probably should have. She gave her wand a wave and sent a stinging hex at the older girl and then for good measure, the Bat Bogey hex before moving to face Amanda.

"Always happy to oblige you Amanda and besides I couldn't let you have all the fun now. And another one who wouldn't fire back at her, maybe her reputation had gotten around. Kayla made another X motion with her wand and sent a backfiring jinx her way and also a stretching jinx just to be sure.

Kayla turned to Allie and quickly raised her wand, "Protego" she shouted, casting the shield charm over herself. The girl looked a little worse for wear but hey that was duelling for you. Kayla made a cross with her wand once again and sent the Revulsion Jinx at Allie.

Ponessa suddenly found herself on her back. Wait--rewind the last half a second....Oh. "Woo!" She laughed, smiling, as she pushed off her elbows, up to her feet. "Didn't expect that like the Spanish Inquisition!" she laughed, nodding to Camira.

"How about this," she held out her hands in a 'two second time-out' gesture, "let's see how long we can go without anyone using 'Protego', eh?" She knew it was useless, but eyed them all anyway.

"How do you block those soo quickly?" she asked. It seemed like not one jinx had hit her so far.
Allie quickly ducked out of the way of the revulsion charm, and sent a Bedazzling hex her way. This deuling stuff was a lot harder than she thought it would be, everythign was happeneing wayyy too fast.

"No, I'm your all day!" Set said as he smiled at her. "What were you thinking about doing?"

Camira shrugged. She didn't tend to use protego anyway. And the professor had said they could use whatever they wanted for defensive purposes. Oh, she felt like cackling. "I can handle that", she said sweetly. Okay, was time-out over?

"Of course you couldn't" Amanda said and rolled her eyes, just because they were friends, that didn't mean anything right now. This was a game, each house for themselves. And she intended to survive this game as long as she could. She ducked out of the way of Kayla's stretching hex, just to be safe she wanted to set an attack out. She cast a stinging hex on Kayla, barely moving her wand as she cast it.

"Practice Allie, I had to defend myself quick against Miss Winters over the course of the duels we've had, and I've come to be able to block a hex and/or jinx quickly." Amanda answered in somewhat of a snarky tone.

Ponessa fired off three stinging hexes, placing herself directly between Amanda and The Gryffindor. She turned, firing the Jelly-Legs and then the Trip Jinx at Camira, turning once more to the hufflepuff, "Impedimenta!"

One might swear she was laughing, but quietly.

Allie's Bedazzling hex simply rebounded off Kayla's shield and head back towards the young Gryffindor. And she merely chuckled at Amanda's stinging hex as it too bounced off her shield and moved forward closer to the group. Thank you Cope, for that little move.

Ah Camira, was here and Kayla smiled to herself, she hadn't had the pleasure as yet. And oh what was this...a time-out? And no shield charms. Kayla lowered her wand and waved the shield away. "Sounds good to me, should make things a little more...interesting."

Placing her back to the wall and positioning herself so that she had all four girls in her sights, she wasted no time. Jinxes first perhaps, making a criss cross action with her wand, Kayla sent off a Finger-removing jinx to the Ravenclaw, a snitch jinx at Camira, another trip jinx for Allie and the backfiring jinx for Amanda.

Oh I dunno... Cadence said trying to pick up her extremely heavy book bag. It's Saturday, wanna go down to Hogsmeade?

Camira saw the Jelly-legs coming and jumped aside to miss it. She, unfortunately did not miss the trip-jinx and found herself falling to the ground. Ouch. She quickly rolled, and shot back a toe-nail growing hex at Ponessa, and just for fun, a hair-thickening jinx at Kayla, still kneeling. Oh, this was definitely the best lab ever.

She was hit by Kayla's jinx, but nothing happened...yet. She vaguely remembered it and made sure never to talk about anything Kayla had told her. ever.

Amanda ducked out of the way of Kayla's backfiring jinx, did Kayla think that she was actually going to allow herself to get hit? She remembering Professor Kazimeriz saying something about they could defend themselves other ways, it was just a matter of figuring out something that could protect her and keep her from being hurt. She fired off two stinging hexes, one for Allie and one for Ponessa, then she smirked and fired off a trip jinx on Kayla.

Allie saw her hex rebounding back at her and succesffuly dosged it, but fell to the floor in the process. Her stupid clumsiness! Kayla's trip jix had hit her on her way down, but it didn't really do much becuase she was always falling. She wasn't doing well in this deul at all, and it was getting harder to get up everytime she fell. So instead of trying to get up this time, she sent off a finger-removing jinx towards amanda, a stinging charm back at ponessa, and then a twitchy ear hex towards the other slytherin who came in.

"Let's go! I really want to go to that candy place. What's it called again?" Set asked! He was very excited!

Amanda got hit by the finger-removing jinx and noticed that her index finger on her left hand was now gone. Great now she looked like a freak, missing one finger. She was done playing nice, she fired off a stinging hex immediately followed by a hair thickening charm.

Kayla turned from Allie, smiling gleefully that she had managed to get the girl when Camira's hex hit her and ewww her hair was growing at an alarming rate. "Finite" she said quickly, her hair stopped growing but it was still long and in her face. She sent the hurling hex back towards Camira.

"Impedimentia" she yelled, pointing her wand at Amand's jinx and slowing it down so that she had time to move out of the way. But of course her hair got in the way and she couldn't see where she was going and stumbled and the trip jinx got her anyway. She felt herself falling and she sent the Bat Bogey Hex towards her on the way down.

Honeydukes? Cadence said as she grabbed one strap of her backpack and began dragging it along the ground because she couldn't pick it up.

"Ya, I can't wait!" he said excitedly!

Eyes on Kayla and Ponessa, Camira hadn't even noticed the young Gryffindor girl send a twitchy ears hex her way. At least not until her ears started twitching. She ignored if for now, seeing as it wasn't harmful or painful in any way and shot back a canary transfiguration hex.

She turned just in time to see Kayla's hex coming her way, and quickly flicked her wand in its direction. "pondero". Perfect. Just in time. She tossed a stretching jinx back at Kayla and quickly turned towards Ponessa. This was proving to be very tiring indeed.


OOC: Pondero from the latin "reflect". It works as a type of magical mirror and the hex/jinx/etc bounces off of it and back to the castor.
