She frowned slightly as he shrugged her off of him, but she made no further comment. She merely nodded at him and said, "Right, okay. I can't stay for long anyway, as I have to go meet my boyfriend. Now let's go." She turned and started walking, waiting for him to catch up to her.

Maddox was caught off guard, but at the same time wasnt surprised that she had a boyfriend. I mean...he had...a lot of friends that were girls, and he had Camira. He jogged a tiny bit to catch up with her. Grinning he asked, "Boyfriend, aye? Who is it?" He wondered what she would do if she knew what had happened between himself and Camira. Camira...who he cant get out of his head. He beautiful caramel smooth skin....ugh.

She laughed as he seemed to be suddenly curious. "His name is Hugo and hes best friends with Miles, Evee and Terry. He's a Slytherin." She was happy that he wasn't yelling at her and making her feel guilty anymore.

Awe crap. Hugo? Evee's Hugo? Maddox wondered if Evee actually knew. She wasnt to fond of Lima, because of her belligerent flirting with Terry. Though he thought it was more innocent then Evee said it was. All he could say was, "Does Evee know?" He gave her a questioning, and scared look.

She snorted at the scared look. So he knew of Hugo. "Yes, she does. He blurted it out to her at Miles' and Vannie's Ball in December and she got furious and stormed off in a huff with Nico. I think that he managed to calm her down a bit though." She smiled as she thought of Nico and how he had helped her feel a bit better that night by giving her support. "Nico's a great guy, really. He stood up for me a bit when she was bashing me."

HUH? She had seen Nico, his best friend, and he hadnt in almost a year? What was this world COMING TOO?! He raised his left eyebrow in confusing saying, "Ball? Nico? HUH?!" He continued to walk down the corridor with her. He replied, "Nico's my best friend. He would have to be a great guy to fill that position." He grinned.

"Yes, he was at the Ball. That's where he told me about the letter. And ... other things." She wasn't going to tell him that they had takked about the break up. "I wasn't happy that he just left and showed up again out of nowhere. So I hit him and called him an idiot."

*Gabben walked down the hall with an open book in one hand and an apple in the other. It was odd how Gabben seemed to do most of his reading while walking. He shrugged at the thought and walked down the corridor.*

Kayla stepped out of the Prefect's bathroom and proceeded down the hall, she spotted Gabben up ahead and she ran to catch up with him. As soon as she was beside him, she took the apple out of his hand and took a bite. "So are you ready to talk yet?"

"Hey-" *He dropped his book and went to grab his apple when he saw that it was Kayla. He smirked and picked up his book.*

"I'm not so sure if I will, I was looking forward to that apple."
*Gabben still no idea what to even say to Kayla. He had spent most of his time making sure noone knew about Kyle that talking about it felt odd.*

She held the apple back out to him, "I only took a small bite" she gave him a small pout. "Come on Gabben, I promised I wouldn't tell anyone and I always keep my promises" Kayla said truthfully. "Besides I can give you a hand, you don't have to try and do this all on your own you know."

*He frowned and waved off the apple.* "There's no way I can get you to forget what you saw and leave it alone?"

"Of course you can't Gabben" Kayla replied and then taking another bite of the apple. "If I wasn't a Prefect...maybe but I have a responsibility to look out for the students" she stopped walking and turned to Gabben. "Look I pretty much have most of it figured out anyway, so you might as well tell me."

*Gabben let out a sigh and rubbed his neck as he leaned on a near by wall.* "Fine..."
*He looked around then turned back to her.*
"What do you want to know? I'm not sure what you know or have guessed so... ask away."

Kayla gave Gabben a thoughtful look before speaking. "How long has he has this er...condition? And is he really as dangerous as he looked the other day?"

"A little over a year and yeah he can be when he dosen't take his potion. When he dose take it he like a normal..." *Gabben sure what normal meant for Kayla.*
"He's more of himself I guess you could say..."

"So um...how did he get like that?" Well obviously he had been bitten by a werewolf, Winters! "What I mean is where did it happen and how?" Kayla gave her head a little nod to say that she understood what Gabben was getting at. "Who makes the potion for him?"

"My older cousin Gabbie makes it for him. She's a seventh year and gets top marks in her year. My Grandfather showed her how to make it over the summer. It took her awhile to get the hang of it but she has it down now."
*He then shrugged and smirked a little.*
"And it happened at a dinner party."
*It was an inside joke with Kyle and Gabben to say that Kyle had be bitten at a dinner party. For some reason it always made them laugh.*

"Well that's good" Kayla replied. "You know it may be good that I know as well, this way he has two people who will make sure that he takes his potion" she sighed deeply. She knew that she was taking on way too much and she didn't even know Kyle that well. But he was a friend of Gabben's and that's really all that mattered because Gabben, was now one of her closest friends and she would do anything for a friend.

Kayla let out a soft chuckle, "Wow must have been one hell of a dinner party. I wouldn't be surprised if you told me that you were a vampire" she raised an eyebrow at him.

*Gabben laughed at her vampire remark then put a hand up when she gave him a look.*
"Ha I'm not by the way, just something much worse."
*He frowned again and sighed.*
"You don't have to do anything... I have it under control."

Kayla raised her other eyebrow, "Oh really? What could be worse than being a vampire?" Hmmm...does he turn into a three headed beast at nightfall, that could be worse.

"I never said you didn't but I'm just letting you know that I am here if you need any help. It's what friends do for each other." She moved forward and gave Gabben a hug. "All you have to do is ask and I'll be there."

*Gabben was taken aback by the hug. He patted her back not sure what else to do.* "Ummm thank you..."

"Ooops sorry" Kayla chuckled as she pulled away from Gabben, "Too much?" She took another couple of steps from him, he seemed a little uncomfortable. "That's just my way of being a friend and showing support, I won't do it again if it bothers you."

"No it's fine. It just hit me that I don't have many friends that a girls." *He laughed then looked down.*
"I know you have more questions, as I said as away."
*It was odd but it started to feel good to talk about it.*

"Well we do make pretty awesome friends you know" she gave him a light punch in the arm. "At least we are more inclined to listen to your problems, then our male counterparts" Kayla poked her tongue out at him.

"I do but why don't you just tell me the story right from the start. That way I don't have to keep asking useless questions and I'll know what's going on" she leaned against the wall and folded her arms across her chest and waited for Gabben to talk.
