The hair, the hair was now touched by a girl's hand. Cam forced himself to remember to take a long shower later or else he'll have those cooties spread everywhere! What if she put an evil snail that would stay there and kill him because of it's evilness and everything. Then again he did do the cootie shot on her so there wouldn't be much more panic after ruffling his hair. Hiding away his scared look at Livvy as she shook her head.

Awwe. He couldn't beat up that Chase? Well that was rude. HMPH. Sometimes he wished that Karmie let him throw that tiny piece of pebble at him. Meanie-dude would have lost his memory and wouldn't even know what a girl was. Possibly, ever so possibly, he would be a veeeery good friend of his.

"WHAT?! HE'S MAKING FUN OF YOU?"

Boys like Chase were crazy, who wanted a girlfriend. Cam didn't like like anyone yet. Well maybe he liked liked a few. He wasn't sure. Chase was some ... some person that liked girls. Even wanted to have one as a girlfriend possibly. So if he couldn't hurt him then he would do something else.

"I'll do anything to help, Livveh."


Anything to stop that boy.

Livvy looked at Cam curiously. He looked scared. It's not like she put a bomb in his hair. She wasn't experienced with nuclear weapons. And if she was.. she wouldn't put it in CAM'S hair. Probably Chase's.

She raised an eyebrow and thought about the whole fake boyfriend thing. At first she thought that she might.. but no... Cam was too innocent. And from what Livvy heard... he loved doing cootie shots. He was a strong believer in cooties. So her asking Cam to be her fake boyfriend, might not work. Tsk tsk. "I don't know what you can do Cam.. I've come up with some ideas to stop that meanie-butt... bu you won't be able to help out with that."

Celandine kept her arms wrapped around herself and walked slowly along the corridor, staring at her feet. She actually almost, kind of, a tiny bit wished Nico were here; but especially Will. Not that she could go run to them and get comforting hugs or anything. She sighed mournfully and kept walking.

Kayla leaned against the wall and folded her arms across her chest, her wand still in her hand. She kept her eyes on Tobi, she had never met a person that would probably be scared of his own shadow. She turned her head slightly to speak to Maddox, when Kayla spotted the young Ravenclaw that he had been speaking about earlier.

She narrowed her eyes slightly as she took in Celandine's demeanor and something definitely wasn't right with her. Kayla pushed off the wall and stood in the middle of the corridor blocking the younger girl's path. "What's the matter Celandine, you look like someone who's just lost their best friend?"

Tobi was going to retort that it's not like he had left his wand in his trunk (he gave up that practice in third year,) but Tobi had no intention of picking a fight with Kayla Winters because A) Prefectdom = power. B) She's all authoritative and whatnot, and Tobi was pretty sure it wasn't due entirely to the Prefectdom. C) Maddox was standing right there and Tobi didn't think it wise to disrespect Maddox's "woman" right in his face.

Another thing to stop him was the sudden appearance of Celandine, shuffling down the corridor and looking for all the world like someone hand cursed her cruppy. This was a very disturbing sight for Tobi, because he'd more or less just been talking about her behind her back, which made him feel terribly guilty. Also, Tobi pretty much gaged the state of the world on things like how his soufflé rose and if Celandine Toussaint was in a good mood. The fact that Cela actually looked distressed about ANYTHING was a sign of the apocalypse.

That's it, we're all going to DIE! Tobi wondered if now was a good time to run around in circles flailing his arms, screaming incoherently.

...lost their best friend? Well there was that too, Cela wished desperately that she could just go grab Garret right now and find a tree... not a tree... a... cave! A messy, muddy, dingy cave to hide in and eat far too much candy in. She let out a little whimper and looked up at Kayla... and Tobi... and Maddox?

Cel took a step back, "Don't touch me."


If they didn't touch her, they wouldn't get shocked, they wouldn't find out and they wouldn't blame or murder anyone.

Okay, Kayla was starting to panic now. She had never seen Celandine act like this before and it was really starting to worry her. She took a step forward but stopped mid step at Cela's words. "What is the matter with you Celandine?"

"Are you sure we shouldn't give her candy?" Tobi muttered, dead serious and very worried, out of the corner of his mouth.

He'd seen his sisters terribly moody before, actually very frequently, but they didn't really come to him with it unless they were looking for someone to take it out on. The best comparison he could make would be Evelyn, the one that never took things out on him. The one that always retreated into herself when she was upset.

Though her voice was small Celandine seemed almost panicky and looking like she would run for it at any moment. Not good. It was most obvious that SOMETHING was bothering the girl who previously couldn't be bothered, and maybe it wasn't too charitable of Tobi, but he didn't trust someone who never got upset to sort out their upsetness on their own. Okay, it was starting to sound confusing in his own mind as he rationalised it, but the bottom line was:

Cela shouldn't be allowed to run off.

"Cela-" He made a grab for her tiny hand so as to pull her into the circle or rather triangle of three people who cared about her, and sort out whatever was going on. But there was one minor flaw in his plan, as soon as his big hand made contact with her delicate little one

ZAAAP!

"Yeow!!" Tobi yelped and yanked his hand back.

Something shocked him quite soundly, he'd felt it in his teeth. He gaped at Celandine. "WHAT was THAT?"

Probably a major contributor to her mood, if not the whole cause. he thought.

The zapping was not fun, and once Tobi had let go, Cela cradled her hand and one little tear tracked down her cheek. She sucked on her teeth for a moment, until the shock sensation had worn off.

"I told you not to touch me." Cela explained. And now she'd have to tell him why he just got shocked. Celandine carefully hooked Tobi's sleeve and pulled him a few steps away. She let go and gestured for him to lean down so she could whisper it in his ear.

"Copernicus Kettleburn kissed me in a tree and I liked it so much that I fell and knocked us both out of the tree and we landed in front of Professor Kazimeriz. He cursed both of us to shock anyone we touch until we learn to behave properly." and, since she was being honest, Cela added, "Cope tastes like caramel."

Kayla stood waiting for Celandine to answer her when Tobi stepped forward and took hold of Cela's hand. Her eyes narrowed again when he jumped back from her, something seemed to happen to him when he touched Cela's hand. Kayla looked at the younger girl waiting for an explanation but she was now whispering in Tobi's ear and Kayla lost her patience.

"Celandine Toussaint, tell me this instant what is going on!!" Usually she followed up a statement like that with a threat but this was Cela and she just couldn't. Instead she crossed her arms over her chest and simply glared at her, if it came to it she would use force...she just hoped it didn't come to that.

Tap tap tap tap tap tap

Helios cautiously made his way down from the sixth floor tower, blindfolded, bamboo pole leading the way. Tapping the stonework, he navigated by sound. With that particular sense heightend, he was privy to hear some distressing things.

Turning students into bugzappers? And they called him a savage.

Tobi was understandably apprehensive about approaching Cela again after who knows how much electricity just pumped through his body. But when he noticed the tear running down her face his own fears sort of dissolved, he didn't resist the whims of crying women (within reason) he just wasn't capable of it.

Well, Kayla and Maddox probably both had a decent idea of what was going on, Tobi briefly wondered if he needed to be standing between Cela and the Hufflepuffs, but then he remembered her skin. No, he probably needed to block the exits.

Barry had only managed to get away from the common room, with Cale being so prefectish, he walked into the corridor and that was when Tobi shouted something " We all know Tobi, its a bit obvious" he said and looked next to him, Cela! Maybe he could..... No Kayla, he couldn`t do anything now, he just gave Cela a sorry look and said to everyone of them in general "Why did Tobi shout that out?"

Cela paused, "...nothing?"

That so was not going to work, particularly not with Kayla.

Cela just stared at Tobi helplessly, "It's... my middle name is Elodie." She looked at her feet, "I'm really confused, Tobi."

Cela looked up as Barry approached and began to chew on her lip, "Umm... thank you for... the christmas present..." She took a step closer to Tobi, looking at Barry and telling him, "Don't touch me."

Kayla jumped a little when Tobi yelled, she had never heard the guy raise his voice before and she was a little shocked but what was more shocking was what he had said. And although she didn't have the full story, she wasn't stupid. Celandine, had obviously sone something and that something was obviously with another boy. "Calm down Tobi" she muttered, her eyes firmly on Celandine.

"Don't you tell me nothing" she growled at Cela more in frustration than anything else. "What have you done because I know you have done something. Tobi, here just squawked half your secret." Forgetting that her wand was still in her hand, Kayla swung it in an angry fashion and red sparks flew from it.

Kayla turned on Barry, that just happened to walk up and how unfortunate for him to catch Kayla, in the mood she was in. "And you" she snapped. "I have heard disturbing stories about you. What do you know about this?"

"Your welcome?" he said trying to sound cheerful but he ended up being confused, at her next statment he asked "Why? Do I smell? Do you not like me?" this was weird.

"About what?" Barry asked as the hufflepuff girl set on him, and she thought it was his fault when it clearly wasn`t "Wait, disturbing stories? I havn`t done anything that bad" he asked quite clearly without a clue in the world of what anyone was talking about.

"Day in the life of a prefect?" Helios couldn't help but grin at Kayla as he untied his blindfold, and tucked the gold fabric into his pocket.

Rounding on the group, he looked to each person in turn. The heightend emotions were a bit unsettling, like so much static permeating the airwaves.

Sympathy for Cela's predicament swelled inside him. Poor thing. He didn't really know what it was like to have feelings for two people at once. Not really anyway. There was his infatuation with the Nurse and whatever was going on between him and Aggie that was certainly - Oh NOW WAS NOT THE TIME TO BE THINKING ABOUT THAT! It's Cela's personal crisis time, she had it so rarely.

"It'll be okay love." he promised her, though he wasn't sure how he was going to come through on it.

Tobi visibly trembled at Kayla's show of temper. She was a witch to be reckoned with. Maddox hadn't even had to lift a finger and Tobi understood perfectly why that was.

He did his best not to smirk at Barry as he cast him a glance, "Well good luck to you, I wouldn't want Kayla mad at ME."

Tobi wouldn't call hounding Cela's every step bad, but he'd call it an aggressive pursuit, and from what Kayla would have heard from his and Cela's conversation, he couldn't blame her for thinking Barry was involved. The cruel, dishonest part of him, the one he didn't let out to play very much, was keeping quiet and letting Kayla think what she wanted. Beside that, the truth was something that Cela would much rather keep quiet, and he was going to at least try to keep it quiet. Certainly in front of Barry. If he found out Cela had gone kissing other boys that weren't him, his head would likely explode.

Celandine just stared at Kayla, not flinching from the growling at all, though she frowned a little and looked at Barry, "No you don't. I like you- you are my friend. Just don't touch me."

Cela looked back to Kayla and then at Tobi, "Don't be mean to Barry!" She commanded them, stamping her foot before facing her housemate, "Now probably isn't a good time." Unless he was keen on being hexed by Kayla.

"I'll be in the common room soon, okay?" For a little while... then she had an appointment with Kazimeriz.

Cela turned slightly and looked at the Hufflepuff who had shown up.

Possibly it was the fact that she was a Toussaint, or needed to take her annoyance out on someone, but Cela looked at the boy and pouted. What business of his was it? Cela suddenly darted forward and touched his cheek with her hand, briefly enough to shock by way of the tazing curse Kazimeriz had put on her, but not long enough to stick to him via the same curse.

"I hear you're extremely jealous about Cela's relationship with Plymouth and that you are becoming aggressive" Kayla looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "I hope for your sake that is not true" she almost turned away and then looked back at Barry. "And stop giving her candy" she ordered.

Kayla closed her eyes briefly and took a deep breath before turning on Helios. "Now.Is.Not.The.Time" she said through gritted teeth.

Hearing Tobi's words, Kayla had to hide the smirk. He had known her all of five minutes and even he knew she was not one to be messed with. "You're quite correct Tobi."

Kayla raised an eyebrow at the whole foot stamping thing. "And you Celandine Toussaint, will not tell me what to do." She was really starting to lose her patience with this whole situation. "If you would start behaving yourself, then none of this would be happening right now" she waved her hands, gesturing towards the others. "Now are you going to tell me what is going on or am I going to have to force it out of you?" Kayla was beyond caring at this point.

And then Cela, did something she never would have thought possible. Watching her walk over to Helios and purposely touch him when she knew it would hurt him. Any other person she might have reprimanded the girl but she decided to let it go and she turned away so that no-one could see the smile on her face.

Perhaps he was trying to make things better, or maybe he wanted to make things worse, but after his initial wince, Helios smiled. "Tickles...may I have another?" The prince said, touching his cheek, head canted slightly to the side.

"Just wanted to see if I could help." Helios mumbled, his pride hurt. Being nice was something new to him. Obviously he needed practice.

Barry listened to Tobi speak not really listening as all he was doing was telling him off and making pointless comments "Sorry" Barry said to Tobi, not quite sure what he was sorry for.

"Thank you" was all he said as Cela spoke, the words that stuck in his head were you are my friend, they were strangly comforting and anoying words. He wasn`t sure why, he just nodded to Cela, he wasn`t sure why Cela had touched the boy.

Kayla he listned to fully "Extremley Jealous? Aggresive? I`m not" he said simply to the aggresive part "Exactly what is your source, it may not be reliable" he knew he shouldn`t have but he had to, "Let her go Kayla" he said as firmly as he could manage, he was not going to be the coward again.

Tobi dearly wished the so called Prince (Tobi had never bought the Prince deal. Privately he often thought that if Helios Sunrider was a prince than he himself was a direct descendant of Arthur.) and Barry would vacate the corridor so they could get back to helping Cela, or rather start. They'd never be able to help her with the nosy pair sniffing around the girls.
Cela at least came up with what Tobi figured would be an effective method of clearing off the Prince, but alas it was not to be.

He thought it tickled? The Prince must be really thick.

Cela returned to him and whispered again. Never had they shared so many of her secrets. "You're still leading student in the entire school, and no one can get them back as fast as you." he reminded her, gently placing his hands on her shoulders, careful not to touch and exposed skin. He didn't need another jolt.

Tobi tried to keep the peace as much as he could, "Kayla, trust me, this is maybe something that would be best postponed for a time when," he tossed his head towards Barry and Helios, "there are less young ears present."

He completely forgot that Helios was the same age as Kayla and Cela was the youngest of them all, but neither Kayla nor Cela ever seemed as young as they really were. and Barry and Helios had always remained as young as they were when he had first met them in HIS 5th year.

"My bad." Celandine pouted, when Kayla told her not to tell her what to do. Cela looked up at her and added, "Only Nico can do that."

Cela's eyes widened at the Hufflepuff boy and she stepped back, thoroughly creeped out by his response to the shock. Her eyes softened slightly at his mumbled words and she replied quietly, "You can't."

"Barry..." Celandine half-warned, "Please? I'll see you in the common room? Please?" She totally didn't want to see him murdered too. And Kayla was being all scary.

Cela sighed and melted against Tobi when he put his arm around her shoulder, being extremely careful not to touch his skin and electrocute either of them. "I know but I made Copernicus lose points too because I looked at him and he warned me not to." Cela told Tobi, before cocking her head and listening to him talk.

Young ears?

And awwww, Tobi was going to look out for her! He so was her new Will!

Celandine looked at Kayla again and told her obstinately, "You are going to have to force it out of me."

"My sources are good enough" she replied, Kayla was not about to snitch on her informant especially if she needed their services again. Oh he did not just tell her what to do!! "Feeling brave are we...Ravvie? This has nothing to with you at the moment, so no I won't be letting her go." Kayla turned away from Barry and almost snorted at his sudden urge to stand up to her.

"Oh no Tobi, we are going to get to the bottom of this...now" she looked around at the others, if Celandine had done something that she shouldn't have then she could face the consequences of being embarrassed in front of her friends.

"Don't go bringing your brother into this Cela." Kayla looked over to Barry as Cela spoke to him and she gave him a nod as if to say 'on your way.'

"As you wish Cela" Kayla replied with a smug look on her face. She reached into her robes and one would think she was going for her wand but she simply pulled out a piece of parchment and a quill. "Hmm... how should I word this..."she put her finger to her lips and pretended to ponder the thought for a moment...'Dear Nico, your sister has been totally disgracing herself by not doing any homework. She has discovered boys you see and well that's all that seems to be on her mind at the moment, she can been seen holding hands and kissing them and I tell you Nico, there is more than just the one.' Kayla looked at Celandine as she held the quill to the parchment. "Imagine the horror on your brother's face if he read something like that. And believe me I will write that to him if you do not tell me what is going on and just to make sure you know that I am being deadly serious, I will make another three copies and send one each to your other brothers."
