"He's probably waiting for us to be off gaurd." she shook her head "I wish I could suck the energy out of you." she mumbled. She turned from where he vanished and giggled Pointing the wand at her clothes she performed the drying spell and seconds later her uniform dried "Need help?" she asked the Gryffie taking her hair from the hair band and letting it fall around her face. |
BANG! The flames of the candles lighting the room sputtered in a cold gust of wind as suddenly, the heavy double doors leading to the classroom crashed shut. A voice came out of the gloom-- from directly behind Plymouth Morgan's chair. "Constant vigilence... Excellent advice, indeed." Professor Kazimeriz's voice said as he stepped out of the shadows from behind Morgan. "You will all be silent and attentive now. Class is in session. Welcome to your lesson on Fear." ooc: Please don't post yourself entering the class from this point forward; the doors are shut and you'll lose points at the very least. If you haven't posted in the class yet, just pretend you were always here and join on in. ;) |
Chris jumped a bit as Prof. Kazimeriz appeared. The lesson sure was named correctly/. |
cedric saw professor Kazimeriz arrive..he was happy because peeves would stop now"yeheey..He's arrive.."Cedric shout |
Jai's eyes opened and her mouth closed, Fear great first peeves now this. |

Daniel was startled not by the banging door but by the dreadful voice of the Professor. He was nearly jumped out of his skin because of that... He then looked and pretended he was alright. |
Mandy practically jumped into Jai's lap as the doors shut with a bang and the professor appeared. Fear. Great. She looked around and smiled. Sturdy yourself. Youll be fine. |

Paris had to cover her mouth to keep from screaming as the doors just suddenly crashed shut. Her heart was pounding the the King of Ghouls walked into the class. She gripped the edge of her desk as her heart was pounding painfully in her chest. |
Sakura sat forward in her seat, truly interested now. A lesson on fear huh? Should be interesting. Well unless there was blood or they could show her how she had once been. Sakura shuddered slightly at the memory of it, rubbing her arms briskly to dispel the cold that was trying to take her over. It would be fine and she definitely wasn't that person anymore. Shaking her head she went back to paying attention to the Professor, sure that this would be an interesting lesson as was the last one. |
Time for bed. I'll catch up tomorrow. Abby turns around and sees Professor Kazimeriz has entered the room. So much for fun and games. I hope Professor Lupa hasn't done something stupid again. |
Hiding from one of the candle chandeliers, Peeves rubbed two chalk board erasers and began rubbing them together, silently coating the wet room in chalk. Hehehe. Wet and chalky....what a combination. |
Twilight felt her heart skip a beat as the doors slammed shut. They were awfully loud to her well trained ears. She smiled to herself as she heard her Professor speak. As the Grey Lady was gone she slid into the seat of the esteemed Lady and waited for the lesson to begin. |
Professor Kazimeriz walked slowly up to the head of the class, eyeing his students in the gloom. "Fear. Every one of you has experienced it. Some of you may be feeling a twist of fear in the pit of your stomach even now, in anticipation of things to come in this class. Those feeling such an emotion now are wise. But... what is fear?" he eyed the poltergeist as he chalked the room. "And Peeves, I will thank you to stop your antics... for the moment. Your time will come." |

Dominic wasn't even sure if he could feel anything anymore; fear that was once there from the Defense professor and mind-altering matters seemed to be nothing anymore. He was wet and numb from the last images that repeated in his mind. Calling her a chair. Could he have been ANY MORE stupid? Seriously. Ignorance and blah blah. This was just wretched. The wailing from Peeves wasn't helping the burning in his chest. Nor was the entrance of Kazimeriz, announcing the start of the lesson on fear. The lesson that should have probably instilled more fear and chills up his spine than it had. But he felt nothing at all. |
Cedric raised his hand"umm,Fear is an emotional response to threats and dangers but others says that fear is often preceded by astonishments"...."there are common fears they are ummm.. flying, heights, clowns, intimacy, death, rejection, people, snakes, success, and driving"Cedric continued |
Tobi raised his hand, "Sir fear is our own natural survival instinct, telling us when we should fight or fly; it's a psychological response to real or percieved danger." |
Mandy listned to the professor. Fear. Something she experienced alot of . Fear over the sillyest things sometimes too. Like if her skirt would be stuck in places it shouldnt be stuck in when she got out of ehr chair adn someone saw it. Or her fear of cliffs. All fears though they ranged. Fear of dementors and even the fear of not being able to tlak to a boy. Fear was.. intoxicating to say the least. |
Ooooh not fun. Raiden sunk a bit lower into his chair as Professor Kazimeriz finally appeared, with quite the unneeded flourish of scaring them all out of their wits... He was glad he'd brought a few vials of the calming draught he'd learned to make over the summer, because sure as dugbogs, he'd need it. His thumb rubbed the stopper in the little vial he held in his hand, just in case. Lesson on fear indeed. Raiden rubbed his arm with his free hand, trying to get rid of the goosebumps and wondering why in Merlin's name he'd entered this classroom. Lessons on fear were probably NOT a good place for him to be, with his...er, issues. Where was Celandine when he really needed her to be here? At least, if something were to happen...he looked around the classroom for the familiar blonde Toussaint. Maybe he should just... take it now. In case... Grimacing, he gripped the vial tighter. He'd wait. Precautionary measures were good, but there was no telling what Professor Kazimeriz would say if he downed the calming draught before class had even fully begun. "Erm." He raised his empty hand. "Fear is... a biological response to something that could negatively impact your well-being, I think, sir." Proving that the impossible was, in fact, possible, Raiden shrank a little, his tiny form becoming even smaller. |

Fear. What was it? Fear of failure? Of disappointment? Of rejection? Of black silky hair walking away from him? Chewing his lower lip slowly, Dominic's eyes met those dark ones of the Defense professor for which he could barely see in the dusky classroom. He raised his hand slowly, "Fear can be a lot of things, but mostly it is an individual feeling. Each person experiences different things that to them are 'fearful'. It is a natural response triggered by the nervous system to threats or danger, often useful for survival. Though sometimes all hope is lost and fear is dissipated because you feel as though nothing else matters anymore..." |
The boy who seemed to be about her age and a huffie would be the answer that mandy would give. He seemed t pinpoint what fear was best. Best to what mandy thought fear was anyways. |
Twilight raised her hand,"Fear Professor Sir, is a reaction born out of survival instincts, of the unknown, the unpredictable and the sudden: as well as at known dangerous situations and threats!" |
Sakura raised her hand, "Fear is one of our most basic instincts. It can cause reactions such as sweaty hands and shivers done ones spine. The different signals that get sent out are meant to tell us when we are in danger and to get out of a certain situation. Of course fear can also just be a reaction to something that we can't see or to a muggle horror movie, which is meant to play on what humans deem innapropriate or awful actions that send a chill down our spine and cause us to worry about ourselves, fear that something is going to happen to us." Sakura said, hoping she was at least partially correct. |

Fear. Dustin listened to all of the answers that were given and smiled. Somewhere someone had told him something silly. Something that probably wouldnt make alot fo sense to other people but it made perfect sense to him. So he muttered, "Fear is weakness leaving the body. Without it we wouldnt be strong." |
