Ian stomped into the room twirling his wand around. Occasionally, he would allow a spark of light to burst out or some smoke or even a flower or two.

"Alright, boy. Based on your behavior in my lesson, it seems you like to play with ropes. WELL, have I got the punishment for you...."

He turned around to face his victim the student with a devilish grin.

Daniel followed Professor Ashby into the Dungeon with walls green with slime and rats all over the place. He was not afraid of rats, but this would not be very good, he thought.

He then looked up as the Professor said something he didn't catch for his attention was on the rats. When he saw the Professor's face he was taken aback, What horror. he thought. He had never seen Professor Ashby like this....

Ian could tell that the boy felt a little uncomfortable. Peeerrrrrrffeccttttt.

"So, since it seems you like ropes so much, I've devised a little plan for you." He flicked his wand and the room was covered in ropes running this way and that, crossing, interlocking, looping, and swooping. It was like a laser security mechanism, only with ropes.

"Your job today, young man, is to make your way through this obstacle course without touching a single rope. If you do, things will get hairy. Or....actually, the opposite, I should say. You will have to start over...Oh, and while you're doing this, I want you to sing me an original song about what you did wrong AND play with these yo-yos." He pulled two yo-yos out of his pocket and handed them to Daniel.

"When you are ready, you may begin."

Daniel looked from the Professor, then to the room where ropes had sprung out, then to the Professor and then towards the yo-yos that were handed to him. The is one good news I've heard, yo-yos he thought. He was pretty good at yo-yos. But then his mouth shut open because he was asked to sing a song about what he did.... That was great!


He grabbed the yo-yos and placed it in his hands, he started to play with it alternately. Ring, then left and right then left. He did the loop to loop and around the world tricks with it... But then he thought that those tricks won't do him any good. So he started the task.... To sing....

As he sings and do the yo-yos, he slid his body on the rope, then one foot and the other. "Whoa, this was hard. he thought. Just a couple of meters to go.

"Hmmm...not bad," Ian mused, referring to the boy's song and his skills with a yo-yo. However, what the boy didn't know is that these yo-yos had a tendency to....well, not exactly do what they were supposed to.

Just as the boy hit around the middle of the course, his yo-yo shot up into the air and straight into a rope. ZING! Some of the boy's hair had been sliced off by the contact with the rope and fluttered to the ground.

"Like I said," Ian added, "Do be careful of those ropes. Things could get a little...hairy...er...hairless. Yeah."

Daniel was startled. The yo-yos were jinxed. Just as I thought about detention. He thought that was too easy. And what is worse, his precious hair, his black beckon of glory, was stripped. He was oh sooo pisssed about that. Anything but the hair... That made him angry. So angry he forgot to control his power. His hair then turned to red. *Poof

And then he, was going to repeat again.

Daniel continued to sing and do the stupid yo-yos. He is trying to be careful though, now that he knows that the yo-yos were dumb. He let the yo-yos loose up to his hand and grabbed it and slid himself from the foot to the body towards the forest of ropes. *sighs

"Careful there!" Ian said. "Try to control your temper. You wouldn't want to get...caught up in your anger." As soon as Ian said 'caught up,' more ropes shot out of the walls straight across the room, thickening the rope jungle and making it even more difficult to cross.

Unfortunately, one of the ropes crossed right in front of the boy, and before he could stop, it grazed his arm, causing more hair to fall from his head. "Oh. Looks like that means you'll have to start over. On the bright side, I am quite enjoying your song!" Ian began to clap along to the beat. He was really getting into this song. Perhaps he would join in as soon as he learned the words.....or perhaps he would just join in soon.

Daniel almost yelled when a new set of ropes appeared and cut his way through, and in the process slicing his hair, again. He can't help but be angry but now the sadness exceeds his angry feeling. He there turns really thin, his musculature body - gone. Instead was replaced with thin hands and body and his hair a sad, sad blue.

He returned to the starting position,

I hope he never rise from the dead and mock him for slandering the name of Kaiser he then burst into laughter. And then a long silence.

He redo the yo-yos and started over again. Now with his thin body first and then his thin legs and feet. He then sigh.

Ian watched as the boy carefully made his way through the jungle gym. There were a few close calls that both had Ian cringing and hoping there would be contact.

But not this time. The kid was slick as a wet otter and slipped through the jungle gym all while singing a pretty clever song.

Ian started a slow clap for the boy, and even though there was no one else around to help make it epic, it worked. "Good job, boy. So tell me what you've learned, and then we can both be on our way."

Daniel sighed with relief. He then heard the clap that came from his Professor. He then with him panting, he stood up and listened.

He sighed again and answered. "I learned that I am not the right person to reprimand another student in class. That, even though someone is doing a bad thing, I won't let my playing Mr. Goody-to-shoe correct her. And I can correct her or him, not by hexing him or her, but by talking or counseling. But most of all, hexing is a big NO - NO." he said still panting like a dog.

But in his mind, Hexing is for DADA classes only.

He stood there waiting for the answer from the Professor.

Ian pretended to hold a muggle microphone and cue cards like he had seen once on a muggle game show. He looked toward where a judge's table might be, nodded his head, and spoke into his imaginary mic. "Yes, the judges have just informed me that this is an acceptable answer! You have won a trip out of the dungeons to lovely Hogwarts, where you will be walking, all expenses paid! You will be sleeping in a wonderful four-poster bed with several other people in the room and best of all, five-star cuisine prepared by the lovely kitchen elves! Thank you for playing 'Detention with Ashby!' You are free to go."

Daniel almost jumped for joy when he heard the statement of Professor Ashby. He then looked at the Professor and asked shyly, "Professor, How about my hair?"

He then added something, "Can I keep one yoyo?" he said with a slight smile on his face.

Ian chuckled. "Oh, that'll grow back soon enough."

"And yes, you may keep a yo-yo." He pulled another yo-yo out of his pocket and touched his wand to it. "I took off the charm I put on it that made it go haywire," he said as he handed it to the kid.

Lima walked into the room not knowing what to expect and was greeted by slimy walls and rats on the floor. You've got to be kidding me, she thought, shuddering. This was disgusting and she would get her clothes and shoes all dirty. She had expected to have to duel Reese, but now she wasn't so sure anymore.

Reese entered the Dueling Dwelling and stopped.Ewwww.Don't tell me this place is rat infested?She looked around then looked at Lima.She really didn't want to know what Kazimeriz had in store for her.

Professor Kazimeriz shuffled into the dueling dwelling. A flood of memories came back to him from previous detentions given here... not to mention his own time in these particular holding cells.

"Ladies." He addressed them curtly, his hand in his wand pocket. "You both know why you are here. However well intentioned you think you were, your actions toward Jack constitute bullying every bit as much as his own actions did. Because you both have relatively umblemished records, your punishment will not be quite as severe as poor Mr. Mosier is facing." He glanced an eye down the corridor toward the Torture Chamber. In the distance, Jack's voice was heard, howling in anguish. "While you are working through the first phase of your punishment, I shall be speaking to the headmaster to see what your future holds. Expulsion is being seriously considered, for here at Hogwarts we have no tolerance for bullying or violence. At least... not student on student violence." he amended with a smirk.

He drew his wand out and cast, changing the room into a dim, vile, slimy and rat-infested version of the dueling arena. In the corner was a plush chair with a pleasant looking tea set on a small table.

"Your punishment is simple. You both like to bully, that much is clear. So your task is to bully one another." He handed them both wands-- they were not their own wands, but rather simple, plain wood wands. "These wands have been specially charmed. When you use them, you will not be able to cast against anyone but one another, and you cannot cast anything but negative spells. And for each spell you cast, you will experience the same pain that you force upon your friend." Kazimeriz smiled at them, revealing his very white teeth in very old, livery gums. He cast a charm on them. "Each of you must cast against the other within two minutes. If either you fail to cast against the other of your own choosing, every two minutes, your friend will experience twice the pain that any one of your spells would have caused, and the pain will continue to worsen until you cast a spell." Kazimeriz sat down on the chair to watch, the tea set pouring a cup of tea for him.

Kazimeriz smirked. "Have fun, my little bullies in training."

Reese took the wand that was given to her and looked at it.She listened to Kazimeriz speak and she couldn't believe what she was hearing.She had to fight Lima.Come one,fighint Lima would be like fighting Cale.Lima was like her older sister.She finally took her eyes off the wand and looked at Kazimeriz and then to Lima.She was going to have to do it.She was truley going to have to fight Lima.

Reese backed up backed up a few steps and raised her wand.She knew Lima was going to forgive her for this.She just knew it.She took one last look at Kazimeriz before she did her spell. "Densaugeo!"she said and the spell went straight for Lima.Enlarging teeth spell,that was the only one that came to mind at the exact moment.

Lima took her wand from Kazi looking at it curiously and listening to his instructions. This was no fair. She had to fight with Reese, who was one of her best friends now. She didn't want to hurt her. Even just a little.

She watched Reese start backing away from her and smiled weakly, wondering what the girl would hit her with first. Then she was hit with a spell and her teeth started to grow. UGH she thought sadly. Gone were her beautiful teeth. Though she had to try not to laugh as she saw the effects that it had one her friend, who's teeth had grown too.

And then it was her turn. She raised her wand and tried to think of a spell to cast, but she just couldn't. She didn't want to do this. She just stood there with her wand raised, not saying anything.

Seconds after shooting that spell,Reese felt her teeth enlarge.Noooooo,her teeth wouldn't even fit inside her little mouth anymore.She had beaver teeth!She looked up at Lima and saw what that spell did to her.Haha.Lima looked like a beaver,too.She looke dover at Kazimeriz who was enjoying his drink.She kept wondering,well hoping,that Kazimeriz would reverse these spells one there done.

Reese looked at Lima,who was holding her wand.Come on.Don't wast your two minutes.She had a feeling that those two minutes were going to go by fast.She stooded still and watched Lima.Please...just...don't make me suffer LIMA,she screamed inside her head.

Reese knew the two minutes must have ended,because she felt a lot more pain coming from her mouth.Oh,geez.The pain was killing her.She feel to the floor on her knees and put her hand over her enlarging teeth.Please,Lima...stop the pain...

Lima was still standing there, when she suddenly saw Reese fall to the ground in pain. She suddenly started. She had wasted the two minutes without realizing it! Panicking, she racked her brain trying to think of a spell that she could use. Nothing hit her. She just stood there, panicking and looking around.

"LIMA!"Reese shrieked.Why hasn't Lima hit her with a spell?She didn't have time to think,she had to act.She didn't care what spell hit her,she really didn't.As long as the pain she was feeling now would stop.That's all she was asking for.

Reese was still on her knees,but her hands weren't over her mouth anymore.Her hands were wrapped around her stomach and she was leaning forward.Breath in....Breath out....The pain was getting worse and worse,so she knew Lima still hasn't hit her.She finally had to let it out:

Reese screamed.

Lima was still fretting around when Reese screamed her name. "Right! I'm thinking!" she said still panicking. Oh, where was Nico when she needed him? She would have even settled for Maddox. But time was wasting and she was on her own. And then Reese screamed. That was it, she screamed out, "Furnunculus," the first spell that came to mind. She knew that it caused boils.

"THINK FASTER,"Reese yelled at Lima.She was still on the ground,but know she was rocking back and forth.How much longer would Lima wait?Would she sit there and just stare at Reese?Watch Reese scream?It was going to get any better.Not until Lima hits her with a spell.And no one knew when Lima would get the courage to do it.

Reese stopped rocking back and forth and looked up at Lima. "Thank you,"she muttered. She stood up from the ground and then she noticed Lima's face was breaking out in red,icky boils.Oh,goodness.She touched her face with her hands and felt the boils.We'll here's the good news,she wasn't feeling anymore pain.

Reese picked her wand up,which she had dropped when the pain begun.She aimed it at Lima,she wasn't going to waste her two minutes.Lima wasn't going to suffer.Haha.How about we embarass Lima?With a little dance. "Tarantallegra,"she said with a grin. The spell aimed at Lima. Dance,Lima,dance.

She was relieved that Reese was getting up now. Even if she was now covered in boils. And looking at her arm, she saw that she was developing them too. And they were gross and red and itchy. She scratched her arm and waited to see what she would be hit with next.

Then she was hit with the dancing spell and her feet started moving from underneath her in a rapid dance and she had to brace herself from falling over. It was hard to control herself. She didn't know how she could cast a spell now. Especially when Reese was dancing around herself. It would mess with her focus. But she had to do something. She couldn't cause Reese anymore pain.

"Conjunctivitis," she finally called out. She would see how easy Reese would find it to cast a spell with bad eyesight.
