Kayla raised an eyebrow at Jack, "And one has to ask, what did you do to her to guage such a reaction?" She look towards Lima and then back to Jack, "You are never an innocent party Jack Mosier."

Lima sighed loudly. And then decided to answer the question that Kayla had asked herself. "He's scared of me now. He thinks I'm going to hurt him. I wasn't really. I was just asking him if he had apologized to Jake yet and got annoyed when he said that he hadn't." It was true enough. She wasn't even carrying her wand on her. "And my wand is at the castle, just so you know," she added cooly in case Jack tried to accuse her of lying.

Jack stared at Kayla "Oh, yeah, everything is my fault... rIght?" he rolled his eyes and sniffed "She came up to me!" he told her

Jack frowned as he gazed at Lima and Kayla "You still have hands and fists and feet" he told her.

Kayla turned to Lima and listened to what she had to say and she nodded her head. "And what did he do to Jake, that he needs to apologise to him." She gave Lima, 'are you crazy' look. "You're not carrying your wand? Should never leave home without it" Kayla turned and looked at Jack.

"I didn't say that, I said you were never innocent" she retorted with a small smirk. "I'll tell you what I'll keep Lima away from you, if you tell me what it is that you have done now."

"Well, I kinda strangled Jake cause he wound me up, but he kicked my leg and hurt me too, then I had to go hospital wing, and I got detention cause of her and Reese cornering me and threatening me with a wand, Kazi found out and took away points and put us in detention" Jack told her "Now she wants me to go up to Jake, but I've been avoiding him, so I don't hurt me or him" Jack said honestly.

Lima was about to tell her what Jack did to Jake when he did it for her. "Yeah, what he said," she commented frowning at him. "And I forgot my wand at the castle." Shew sighed again. "And I would never really hurt Jack. I'm not the type."

Kayla shook her head at Jack, "Oh you just kinda strangled Jake. You do realise that Jake is a friend of mine and anyone who hurts him, well let's just say I don't like it" she took a breath before continuing. "Another detention, this must be a Hogwarts record. Why do you do it Jack?"

Kayla looked at Lima and almost smiled at what she said, "Well I suggest you don't forget it again. Professor Kazimeriz, thinks there's something evil lurking the halls of Hogwarts and we have to make sure that we are prepared." She snorted at Lima's last comment, "Don't worry about that Lima because I am."

She really couldn't help but smile at Kayla's first comment to Jack. So she was a friend of Jake's too and felt the same way. She was relieved to see that her and Reese weren't the only ones that looked upon Jack harshly for that. She frowned as Kayla suddenly mentioned Kazi. She still had bad memories about Detention. "Oh, don't worry, I won't." Though her frown lessened slightly again when Kayla made her last comment. "Oh, I've heard a bit about that," she said snorting.

Jack looked up at Lima and shivered involuntarily

"I couldn't stop myself, it was hard to walk away... but I stopped myself, with the help of others" he bit his lip "I don't do it on purpose, I swear" Jack told her honestly

Jack eyed Lima again "Heard a bit about what?" he hissed, suddenly feeling brave again.

Lima frowned at the way that Jack spoke to her. Especially as she wasn't even talking to him. But she decided to answer anyway. "I heard that Kayla is quite the fighter," she said smirking.

"Hard to walk away from what?" Kayla growled as she took a step towards Jack. "You need to learn self control Jack, because there are going to be times when things happen that make you angry" she poked a finger at him but didn't touch him. "You have to control your anger otherwise it's going to control you." Kayla shook her head and took a deep breath, she couldn't believe she was about to say this. "I can help you if you like?"

She looked over to Lima and smirked a little, "Hmm...I wonder where you heard that?" Kayla chuckled softly to herself, "I hear you're not so bad yourself."

"Fighter?" Jack swallowed and then looked at Kayla "To walk away from the insults" he twitched as she moved forward "Help me? Why would you help me? You hate me, remember?" Jack frowned confusedly.

Kayla gave Jack a wink, "Yeah, I'm proficient in martial arts, am very handy with muggle weapons and Professor Kazimeriz says that my wand work is far above the average of someone my age" she moved away from him and leaned back against the front counter. "I don't hate you Jack, I don't hate anyone...well except for my grandmother but that's a different story. I'll help you Jack because you need the help" Kayla shrugged and flicked some lint off her shirt before looking back at Jack. "It's totally up to you of course I am not going to force you."

Jack giggled nervously "Nice" he smiled awkwardly "I'll take the help, I want the help, I need the help" Jack watched her interestedly and sighed as he admitted it.

"Yeah it comes in handy, if you know what I mean" Kayla pushed off the counter and took a couple of steps towards Jack. "Well you just passed the first step and that was admitting that you need help." She held out her hand to him, "Come on I'll shout you a drink at the three broomsticks and then you can tell me your problems and lets see if we can find a solution to them."

Kayla turned to Lima with a smile, "You are more than welcome to join us if you like, might be helpful having another opinion there as well."

Jack blinked blankly at Kayla as she offered to get him a drink "A... drink?" he asked as he warily took her hand as she addressed Lima, Jack shivered and bit his lip nervously.

Lima listened as Kayla offered to help Jack. She was a bit surprised like he was, but yet it made sense to her at the same time, really. Then Kayla offered that she join them at the Leaky Cauldron. She would never pass a butterbeer up. "Of course," she said smiling.

"Excellent, I haven't had a butterbeer in a while" she gently pulled on Jack's hand as they made their way out the door. "And don't look so nervous Jack, perhaps after this we may just keep you out of detention" Kayla chuckled, if she could manage that she would go down as a hero.

Jack felt her pulling him and he let her "Nervous? Me?" he let out a small nervous giggle "No, not me" he lied "Haha, out of detention?" Jack giggled a little hysterically as she chuckled at him.
