Barry moved forward Shes not a crazy professer like Lupa, she just doesn`t know what safe means Barry thought. He moved forward towards the dragon and when he reached it he stroked it and joy spread accross his face Your not boring!. Well of cource, but this didn`t count. Hmm perhaps Cela would try and climb hogwarts or something. He moved back and out of the way.

Oooooh. The dragon had such purdy scales! Clifford continued tracing his fingertips across the dragon's side, trying to keep his touch as light as possible. He probably shouldn't of had those extra sausages at lunch.. what if the dragon could smell them and decided to eat him!? Sausages WERE deeee-lish.

... why was he thinking about sausages at a time like this!?

While he was PETTING A DRAGON!

Not wanting to hog it all to himself, Clifford gave it one last pet, tracing his fingers along her delicate wings before stepping back and letting someone else have a go.

"I take it you're saving the dragon riding for next lesson, Professor." The Prefect chuckled shakily.

Kiri stared at the boy. Just minutes earlier he had to be comforted by Professor Morgan, and now he was standing next to the dragon, grinning proudly and confidently as if it were nothing. Well, obviously he hadn't been eaten yet, so he had to be doing something right. And if he was able to do it, Kiri would certainly be. She nodded at his words (The dragon's a she?!) and stepped forward.

This close, the dragon's breaths were very noticeable, but to Kiri's relief they were still deep and steady. She reached out with her hand, slowly moving it forward... and then her fingers touched the dragon's side. The first thing she noticed was that the hide wasn't as smooth as it looked from a distance. It wasn't scaly or anything, but she could feel the rough texture of it as she let her fingertips slide across a few inches of it. Tiny ridges ran all over it, she followed them with her slightly trembling fingers.
And to Kiri's surprise, the dragon didn't really smell strongly of anything. She wasn't sure what she'd expected, but the general scent of the forest didn't change. With a final pat, she withdrew her hands, giving the boy a please-is-this-enough look. She had a feeling she'd have to sit down, quickly.

Jane looked at Professor Bunbury as she mumbled. She was still afraid of the dragon. She saw the students pet it without having their arms taken off. But what if..she acidentally tickled the sleeping dragon? What would happen to her handdddd??? She raised her hand to ask Professor Truebridge.

"Professor, will the dragon eat your hand if you tickle her when she's sleeping?"Jane was hoping she could go pet the dragon with Professor Bunbury.

Herminny waited her turn and then slowly aproached the dragon and touched her hand side right where Jake had pointed and it felt so cool, she could feel the dragon breathing and it was just such a cool experience. she was in such extasy just touching and getting a closer look at the magnificant beasst. Herminny quickly tapped her mind back into reality as she saw the line of students waiting for there chance to toch the dragon so she slowly backed away and took her seat thinking this was definately the coolest class ever.

She was enjoying being cuddled, but then Ili left... and FOR A COOTIE INFESTED BOY!!! Well... that wasn't very nice...

"No..." she said... but she was all gooo gooo over the dragon too...

WHUT!!!! Now the Bunnywoman was touching it! And with Truesnitch's permission?! And Truesnitch wasn't even the CoMC professor!!! That it! Less had a half a mind to kick the dragon, and give Truesnitch something to really be worried about... but there were kicks... and maybe he was full of dung, and never battled a dragon before... then the kids would get hurt... no... she had a better idea...

Less left with a smile on her face.

"Soon Annie, but not just yet." Iliana answered sweetly. "I will be assigning homework in a few moments and then when the kids have all gone back up to the castle, it will be our turn. I know you're anxious; so am I." She told her honestly.
Noticing that Professor Truebridge was a bit preoccupied, Iliana took it upon herself to answer Jane's question. "It would take a lot more than a tickle to wake her up, dear. She's under a very strong potion remember? You'll be perfectly safe." She gestured with her hand towards the dragon and said, "Step on up, there's no time like the present. Besides, we Gryffindors are brave." She added with a wink and a reassuring smile.

Finally Ana finished her drawning, or the tentative of it at least. "Professor i'm done!"

Jane smiled at Professor Morgan, feeling a LITTLE reassured. She still hoped she could have someone by her side when she petted the dragon. She raised her hand and asked Professor Morgan again.

"Professor? Can Professor Bunbury pet the dragon with me?"Jane wasn't feeling as brave as a Gryffindor should at the moment, not in front of a maybe-waking-in-a-few-moments dragon.

After she had petted the Dragon, Vanessa had taken a few steps back, so that the other students could have there turn.
As she watched them she couldn't help but over hear that one of the Gryffindor girls wanted some help.
"Professor Morgan...I can help Jane if you want." She offered with a smile.

"Great job, Ana. Now come on over and pet the dragon."
"Yes thank you Vanessa, that would be wonderful." She said, clearly impressed by her willingness to help. "Five points for Hufflepuff."

Yayyy. Someone would be next to her to pet the dragggunn!! She beemed at Vanessa. She stepped up right in front of the dragon's nose and waited for Vanessa to touch the dragon at the same time as her. She was keeping her other fingers in the pocket crossed.

"Ummm...like...hoooww??"Jane hesitated.

Vanessa smiled, as Professor Morgan awarded her points for offering to help Jane. That was awesome. "Thanks," She nodded, glad to have some points, maybe it would help Hufflepuff to get above Ravenclaw

Vanessa smiled at Jane, as she followed Jane back over to the Dragon, so that she could help her to pet the dragon.
"You just need to do stroke, or pet the dragon softly, and carefully," She spoke, with a nod. "Like this," She added, as she showed Jane how to pet the Dragon. "Now your turn," She looked at Jane again, smiling.

Mehh...it looked sooo easy. Like petting a Puffa!!Exactly like petting a Puffa. But..it might still wake up suddenly. But, she had Professors around. She closed one eye and gave the dragon a little pat-pattap on the nose. ANNDD..the dragon was still sleeping!! She looked at Vanessa and smiled!

"Gee...Thanks, Vanessa!!"Jane was smiling now. She hurried back to her seat to draw the dragon. She loved dragons now...when they are under DEEP sleep, that is.

PET?! COOOOOL !! If my mom knew about this she would so freak out!

"Yeah sure!"

Ana almost flew to the dragon petting petting!
She arrived near him Sooo big and carefully she extended her hand towards the dragon's side and moving across his body. She could feel her breathing. That was one of the best experience in her life! She wanted to hugged her and stay there. She was a cuteeeee dragon !!

After a few minutes that sadly only looked like seconds she gave a last look and pet to the sleeping dragon and then step back to give a change to her classmates to pet her.

Then she turned to the professor "Hum... Professor?... Does she have a name?"

OH MY GAAAWD.

They were ACTUALLY going to see a dragon. A real life one, one which would breath FIRE and crush puney humans such as Milesy boy. He was gunna die! NUUUUU!

Miles breathed in heavily, as it was his turn to pet the dragon. He was going to TOUCH a dragon! He was such a pansy, really. Miles' fingertips brushed lightly across the dragon's scaley, coppery side. Trying to be so light that it was like he wasn't even stroking him. GAH! He was too scared if it woke up. He was stood so close to it!

Once he'd finished his little go of stroking a GINORMOUS dragon, he stepped back a few paces to let other people have a go. "Phew." He breathed out finally.

Professor Morgan took a few steps towards the center of the semi-circle of benches and cleared her throat. "Class, I am BEYOND proud of you today. You've all done such a wonderful job and made this class fun for everyone. I'm going to go ahead and assign your homework now. If you still haven't been up to pet the dragon, this is your last chance to do so."

She tapped the board one final time and watched as the homework appeared.

"OH! And before you leave, there's one other thing to announce to all of my Magical Creature Nursery students while I've got you here." She began. "Earlier this year, Freya posed a very important question regarding whether or not you could adopt your creatures once your journal assignments were completed." She explained. "After your commendable behavior in this class, I have decided that you are more than ready to take on the challenges of creature ownership." She continued. "Those interested, please think about it carefully and return the following form with your final assignment. I know today's been a day filled with silly forms, but I have a feeling that many of you are going to really appreciate this one."

When it was his turn to step up, Helios kept his hands behind his back, studying the sleeping dragon. "I hope you are having good dreams. I'm sorry that they don't show more respect to your kind. No wonder they had so much trouble with a basilisk." The boy from a faraway was expecting a dragon to come soaring over the horizon, not this drugged dragon that slumbered before his eyes.

"I hope to see you again, my friend." Continued in that hushed tone, he placed a hand gently on the creatures flank. He hoped on hope that one day he would see the dragon flying in the open sky freely.

Taking back his hand, Helios smiled, turning on his heels before walking off.

Feeling rather proud of himself, Miles strolled over to wear the wands were kept and smiled and Professor Morgan. "Thanks Miss." He said, and turned to Professor Truebridge. "Cheer's Sir. That was awesome what with the dragon and learning about them." I never want to be near one again. He thought, whilst walking back up to the castle.

Returning to the benches, Clifford hurriedly scribbled down the homework Professor Morgan had assigned for them. Shoving all his things in his rucksack, the sixth year then moved to collect his wand. He'd almost forgotten about that.. that would've been good. NOT!

"Cheers for the awesome lesson, Professor Morgan." The Prefect grinned before turning to Professor Truebridge. "Thanks a bunch, Sir!" Maybe one day he'd be able to FLY on a dragon just like Truebridge had. Wheee!

Maddox quickly wrote down the homework. He couldnt beleive he actually got to pet a dragon. It was an amazing day! Once he was finished writting down the homework, and actually heard what the professor said about adopting their animals, he knew his smile would be plastered on his face for a month. He was allowed to adopt Serefina! What a great day!


He slowly walked up to the professor, and grabbed his wand. "Thank you for an amazing lesson professor. I will be sure to fill out one of those adoption forms. Phoenix's are my favorite creatures, and I didnt think I could part with Serefina." He smiled, and said, "Again thank you," he paused and turned to professor Truebridge saying, "and thank you Professor Truebridge as well!" He gave a nod and a smile and collected his things, and slowly walked back to the castle. Great day.

Kayla wrote down the homework assignment onto her parchment and then packer her things into her bag. She stood up and made her way over to Professor Morgan and retrieved her wand. "Excellent lesson today Professor, one of the best we've ever had." She gave her a smile before turning to Professor Truebridge. "And thank you Professor, for taking the time to teach us today, it was pretty darn cool." She gave them both a wave before turning and heading back up to the castle.

Constantine flailed his paws a little as for a brief moment, as he was picked up and then put down again. Chain still in his mouth, he sat down on his hind legs and watched her walk away. He gave a little whine, but then laid down and gave another little sigh as he watched all the people play with the other animal. Some animals had all the luck...

A big grin was visible on Miranda's face. This had been so awesome, and to think that she was fretting this terms lessons!
She felt rather proud that this went so smooth, no accidents, no one's eyebrows got singed. And Professor Morgan's compliments were well recieved.

Collecting her ink, quill and parchments, Miranda stood up and grabbed her bag. She walked over to Professor Morgan
"Thankyou for an awesome lesson Professor! This was truly one of the most memorable moments of my life!" she grabbed her wand and with a grin she turned to... ""Professor Truebridge, thankyou for keeping us safe and not letting the dragon eat us. she stared at him a short moment with big wide eyes, then quickly she turned to the dragon "Thanks for letting us pet you, byeeee Ms. Peruvian Vipertooothy!" Miranda waved and skipped off to the castle.
