Copernicus finished with the strap and stood once again. This was all very odd, and what exactly was going on with Mr. Masterson hiding out in the grass? Did he realize that he'd have to be about 90% shorter in order to hide in grass? With a shrug, he turned back to the Headmaster.

"I can take those containers for you now, sir," Copernicus reached for the stack Bontecou was carrying.

"Got those extra containers ready for me, Copernicus?" he asked, handing over the rest and just handling two. He readied the container. "All set, Truebridge."

Lucy looked in the direction Herminny was pointing at. After a while she noticed what she was talking about. A guy was doing a stop, drop, roll. "Oh i see it. I think he's hiding from the professor." Lucy answered turning to look at them. Lupa was crying into Morgans shoulder. She turned back to look at figure that was hiding.

Ooooooh....lookit! Awesomenessness....simply brilliant!

Except for one thing...she was having trouble looking right directly at what the Professor was doing, because she was busy feeling the breathing of the dragon...

Then she looked at Jake, "Pst!" she called on him, "Focus" she mouthed and gave the she-dragon a look...

And she continued to pay attention...as usual.

I'm supposed to WHAT? I'm supposed to WHAAAAAAAAT? Tobi could have sworn Professor Truebridge had handed him the large flask and instructed him to pour the contents down a man eating dragon's throat in the EVENT THAT IT SHOULD REGAIN CONSCIOUSNESS! EXCUSE ME???

"I'm sorry," Tobi wheezed. "Could you repeat that?" It sounded like you wanted me to feed myself to a dragon.

Lina giggled as Tobi seemed to be panicking. At least she wasn't being commanded to do something with the dragon. It was a sort of sadistic pleasure watching as the students fearfully approached the thing or responded to the professor in terror.

Copernicus accepted the containers, ready to dispense them to the Headmaster as needed. "Professor, do you want me to cap the full containers as the Headmaster is done with them, or is someone else going to do that?"

He gave Avalon a sad face that was very 'sucks to be you but it was nice being mates while it lasted'. Yeah, they'd all heard it. Avalon had to stick his hands inside the dragon's mouth.

Professor Morgan watched in silent fascination as Ethan so expertly demonstrated the inner workings of the dragon's fangs. It had been a long time since she herself had learned something during one of her lessons. It was hard not to be impressed.
Iliana rubbed Alessia back in an effort to comfort her, rocking her back and forth the best she could in her little sideways hold. Deja vu. Wasn't it not 10 minutes ago she was here comforting Jake? "I know, Less, I know." She whispered, unsure of what else to say. She wished more than anything that she could figure out just what was causing Less to act this way.
Just then Iliana's eyes shot up when she heard something moving in the grass nearby. Her first thought was that someone had left the Nursery door open and they had a Niffler roaming around. If so, she'd have to catch it fast before it got itself hurt. Luckily, she had her locket around her neck and could entice it fairly easily. Though when she took a better look,... that was no niffler. That was Masterson over there hiding in the grass.

Patting Less' shoulder absentmindedly, Iliana stood from the bench and walked over to where Neo... hid? "Constantine? Would you like to join us?"

Kayla looked at Tobi and gave him a sympathetic look. "Just stay calm Tobi" she advised. "Where is that Gryffindor bravery? You'll be fine nothing is going to happen." Well she wasn't entirely sure that was true but it always good to lie in these situations didn't want to freak him out too much.

"Doing alright down there Jake?" Ethan didn't take his eyes off the fang as he spoke.

"Alright," Ethan dropped his wand and the dragon fang latched into the container, venom immediately beginning to shoot into the container. With a practiced eye, Ethan indicated the next container needed to be switched over... now!

"Copernicus, If you could put the outer lids on the full venom containers, Clifford can help you with that." Ethan looked up briefly, "And Celandine and Paris, if you two wouldn't mind sealing the container if you know a decent sealing charm?"

"Everything alright, Kaika?" Ethan checked.

"If it stirs. Potion goes in mouth. It won't wake up unless it is hit by several spells at the same time as it stirs, and Kaika and Jake will notice it stirring first. Man up, Avalon. I know you can do this."

Noting that Copernicus and Bontecou had the harvesting from the pipe grooved fang under control, Ethan moved on to the secondary fang. "The front groove fang is shorter as you can see, and it does not fold back. See these apertures?" Ethan pointed them out with his wand, "that is where the vipertooth is able to spit it's venom from. It's a spiral shaped channel, and it forces a spin on the venom so it can be more accurately aimed." Ethan took a container and hooked it into the fang, venom immediately filling the container.

"Anna and Herminny, if you two wouldn't mind labeling the containers as they are filled, so we can see at a glance which type of venom from which type of fang it is."

"Yeah...she's all good" she said, with a smile, as Prof. Truebridge asked about the dragon...and the creature seemed to be doing just fine at the moment...

'See these apertures?' "No, I don't" she thought, but got a bit closer to see better. Not to worry, her hand was still in place...

Oh, "I see" and then took a step back to where she was standing first. Greeeaaaat. Unless the thing moved, and she-dragon was doing just fine...no need to worry Tobi right now.

Oh how hard was it to not scowl. "Quit distracting me..." Jake muttered extremely quietly when Kaika told him to focus. Pfft. Nerve, much?

Closing one eye in a vain attempt to block out everyone's voices (yes... his EYE), Jake heard his name being being spoken by Professor Truebridge.

Professor Truebridge who was up by the Dragon's head.

OHMAHGAWSH!!!!! SHHHHHHH!!!!!

"S'all good, sir," Jake replied. His own stomach rumbled gently at that point and he panicked. Was that the dragon, the earth, Kaika, or him? Ahem...

Cela watched and listened in fascination and when she and Paris were asked to do sealing charms, she practically flew to the front of the class to take the containers that had been lidded from Copernicus and Clifford

She took her wand from the basket, feeling proud that she'd been trusted to use magic around a dragon. But she was sure to do it a fair distance away. She smiled at Paris, wondering if the slytherin girl was as excited as she was about this. As the containers were sealed, Cela offered them to Herminny and Anna to be labeled.

"Wake up.."

The young prince whispered towards the slumbering dragon. What cruelty it surely must be to make someone a prisoner of their dreams. There was also something dually insulting in having children milk the beasts venom as I slept. Helios couldn't help but look anxious for something to happen. Not that he wanted anyone to get hurt, but a sleepig dragon wasn't nearly as exciting as an awake one.

"Wake up.."

Becca finally finished her drawing. It really wasn't much, but she tried hard to perfect it. She tried some awkward type of shading technique thing, but it definitely made the picture look worse. Failure.

With an obvious look of frustration on her face, she held up the drawing for the professor to see.

OOC: I accidently saved it under the wrong format and it ended up looking blotchy and gross and unhappy afterwards. But if you imagine it when the colors are pure... it looked better.

Whoa. Was that a DRAGON!? That's so COOL!

NO! That's just what they want! To be SUCKED IN. Nice try, evil tall people! You can't get this boy because he's so sma- oh no! an adult is coming! an adult is coming!!

Constantine started to panic as she came closer and closer...dear heavens what to do! What do I dooo!?

And then, he pulled the only trick he had left.

He pretended to be dead.

It worked for opposums, it should work for him.

Right?

She looked at Professor Lupa as she shouted again. What was going on. She walked over to her and tugged on her robes. "Are you alright?" she asked her voice laced with concerned. She was one of Paris' favorites.

She saw Jake getting distracted by a butterfly. That kid had some seriously ADHD issues. She wanted to take her wand and poke him, but she didn't have her wand! Gah!

She looked up when her name was called she was barely paying attention, but she stood up anyways. She walked up to where the containers were being held. She looked through the wands till she wand hers and gently started sealing up the containers. She used the sticking charm, she didn't know what else to do.

Yeah. There was definitely something. Yep, something moved...she-dragon moved slightly...and the breathing was not normal...but then, Prof. Truebridge had to note that, didn't he?

"Ummm...sorry, Professor...I think it will be wise if Tobi does whatever it is he's supposed to do" she said, however, her hand didn't leave the spot. Weird, someone might have expected her to do so at the very moment she felt something, right?

Masculinity in question, Tobi stood up straighter. "Well of course I can do this. I can do this. It wasn't a question of can I do this..." he huffed, marching to the bag he had earlier been directed to. He pulled out a pair of dragon hide gloves. He set the flask carefully down, yanked on the gloves, and retrieved it.

Honestly, I'm A MANLY man, just a MANLY man with a survival instinct. MAN UP! I'll show him MAN UP!! I', a MAN! Just a MAN with different knowledge, that's all!! Bet Professor Truebridge doesn't know ANYTHING about cooking. Couldn't tell the difference between a Strawberry Pavlova and Strawberry Fool. Doesn't know the difference between 'Sauté' and 'Saté.'

Okay would anyone notice if she got up and hit the prince in the back of the head right now? If there wasn't other students around, Kayla wouldn't mind the dragon waking up and taking a good bite out of Helios. "Maybe you should wake up" she muttered under her breath.

Cope alternated in handing off new containers to the Headmaster and handing them to Clifford to put the outer lid on. When he could manage it, he also screwed lids on himself. This was all a very well oiled Muggle machiney thing, and he was impressed at how everyone seemed to be doing their job and working together.

He turned to hand off a container with the lid on tight and spotted Cela there. He gave her a nod and a grin along with the container. Best not to talk and distract anyone.

Annie didn't know where to look - should she still watch the crying Less, or the sleeping dragon, or the people like like like TOUCHING it?! IwunnapethedragonIwunnaIwunnaIwunna!

Bunbunz heard a slight rustling in the grass and glanced down, confused to see whatshisname there. She nudged him with her foot and then gasped loudly. "HALP! HE'S DEADDDDD!"

Arline jumped as someone wailed out of her sight. She looked over to see the professor holding the whiny lady over by what looked like a lump on the ground. "Dead?" She made her way over to help and noticed it was one of the other professors. Professor... whatshisname. She always had trouble remembering with all of these professors about.

Thinking it couldn't be possible, she knelt down and took his wrist, feeling for his pulse. Though her small hand didn't fit around his large wrist very well, and she had trouble finding it. "I can't find a pulse," she muttered... exactly the wrong thing.

"Right." Ethan agreed, moving slightly so that Tobi could... wait a minute. Ethan smelt the tiniest hint of sulphur and immediately disengaged himself from the fang and pushed Tobi and Copernicus out of the way as the dragon suddenly burped and flame errupted out of its mouth, but did not otherwise wake up.

"Hmmm. Just gas." Ethan shrugged, returning to the fang with his container and nodding at Tobi, "If you wouldn't mind." he indicated that the potion should be administered, "Behind the fangs, Tobi, on the tongue. Good noticing down their, Kaika. You two keep it up."

"You felt it move?!" Jake whispered incredulously to Kaika. Maybe focusing WAS a good idea.

In some situations anyway.

Just remember, Jake, DON'T freak out.

"What... what the?! What's it gonna do?! Ahmahgawshhhh!!!!!" Jake's breathing pitched again and he looked around at the Professors. He counted... SEVEN staff members, and with more than half of them acting total fools, Jake no longer felt safe.

Whimper.

WHAT THE?! FIRE?!

Scream and run, Jake, scream and run.

"Oh Merlin..." Jake whimpered, pulling his hand back and stepping away, decidedly not screaming and running. Had he blown his chance now? FAIL.
