Copernicus raised his hand. "The Chinese Fireball, professor." He was particularly interested in these bright... sort of freaky looking dragons.

And really... what was with all the professorial craziness? Were they all hopped up on sugar? Even Cela, who consumed more sugar than humanly possible, could sit through class like a normal person.

Celandine raised her hand and suggested the dragon she had done her last assignment on, "Peruvian Vipertooth!"

"How Do I know!? Im not the Professor!" Clifford hissed back, wrinkling his nose at Profesor Lupa and raising his hand. "There's the Swedish short-snout ma'am.. the one's from Sweden." Duh.

"The, err, Swedish Short-snout, Professor," said Kiri, raising her hand.

Freya raised her hand, "The Hebridean Black I believe is one..." Though she could be wrong, her expertise wasn't with dragons. However she could vaguely remember reading about one at some point....

Herminny raised her hand and said, "Theres the Chinese Fireball mam".

Miranda raised her hand "The Norweigan Ridgeback ma'm"

She glared at him... How dare he hiss at HER!!! SHE WAS A PROFESSOR!!

"I can take like a bagillion points from you, you know!" She raised her hand to Ili and said "Iiiiiilllllliiiiiiiiii, Clifford was mean to me!!!"

Raising her hand, Anna said, "One breed would be the Ukrainian Ironbelly," she said, following the professor's gaze over to the newest professor to enter the classroom. Counting Professor Morgan, there were...one...two...three...four other professors present, as well. Professor Truebridge had of course been invited to participate, but why were the others here? Feeling as if she ought to try and be on her very best behavior, Anna sat up straight and stared ahead. She didn't want to get caught misbehaving by five professors at once! No, thank you. That was simply just not on the "To-Do List" for today.

Oh bummer.

That look Professor Lupa gave him.. make Clifford's stomach turn. A bagillion points!? Was that even a number!? ... was she telling on him?

Gasping, Clifford turned back to Professor Morgan, his own arm thrown in the air. "Professor, Professor Lupa is ... distracting me!" Whoa, that sounded weird, but it was true. "I'm trying to be a good boy and learn.. and she - she keeps whispering to me!" HAH! He could be a tell-tale too.

Miranda turned to see Iffo talking loudly in the class. And what was with Professor Lupa?
What in the world were they all doing here, weren't they supposed to be learning about dragons!? Miranda blinked.

What the... She had just spotted BunBunz sitting at the back. Were all the teachers dragon experts or something?
This is going to be a looong class...

Kiri looked around disbelievingly. The fact that so many professors were present was strange enough already, but they were acting so bizarrely, too... Was this some kind of joke they'd decided to play on the students? If they were, a Care of Magical Creatures lesson with dragons was probably, well, definitely not the best place for it. They couldn't all be dragon wranglers.
And her own house's prefect wasn't really behaving much better. He was at least a sixth year, if Kiri remembered correctly. By right I should be the one who's childish, she thought, and glanced at Professors Morgan and Truebridge, who were standing in front of the class. Surely they would intervene before bringing out a dragon?!

Breathing deeply and closing his eyes, Helios tried to block out the voices around him. He needed to think!

The teachers were there to make sure the students didn't do anything stupid, but who was watching them? The boy had to mentally anchor himself to fight the urge to pace.

Would this be where everything goes wrong? Be calm. He urged himself. No need to panic..yet.

Iliana whipped her head towards Less and gave her a stern look. This was not about to happen during her lesson.
"Very good Copernicus." Professor Morgan said, happy that some of her students were still paying attention despite the disruptions. She gave her wand a swish and CHINESE FIREBALL appeared on the board.
"Yes Cela, good answer. That's one of my favorites." She said, giving her a wink. PERUVIAN VIPERTOOTH "Fantastic class, keep going."
"Correct Clifford, thank you." She said, still keeping a watchful eye on Lupa. SWEDISH SHORT-SNOUT
"Excellent Freya!" she exclaimed. Iliana especially liked their pretty eyes. She gave another flick and HEBRIDEAN BLACK went up on the board.
"That's right Herminny, thank you." She said.
Iliana added it to the board. "Wonderful Miranda." She said. Ahh the scary ones had always been her favorite. NORWEIGAN RIDGEBACK
Iliana flinched at the ear-piercing screech in which she heard her named being called. That would be quite enough of that! She thought, marching over towards the bickering duo. "Professor Lupa PLEASE! I am trying to have a class here." She said, in a hushed tone. Then she turned to Clifford and she said, "I do apologize, Clifford. The professor seems out of sorts today. Why don't you grab your things and move over next to Anna. I'm sure she won't cause any distractions."

Rounding back on Less, Iliana reached inside her robes and pulled out a handful of chocolate frogs. "Here." She said, handing them over. "Will that keep you quiet for awhile?"
Professor Morgan smiled over at Anna as she made her way back to the front of the class, lifting her wand when she reached the blackboard. UKRAINIAN IRONBELLY "Thank you, Anna." She said, looking over the board. "Anyone else?" She called out. "There are dragons breeds that I'm still waiting to hear."

Cela raised her hand again, knowing which were missing, "Catalonian Fireball, is missing Professor!" she kept the others to herself to let other students answer.

Kiri scanned her textbook quickly. She raised her hand again. "Umm, Professor," she said. "There's also the, uh, Welsh Green. And the Romanian Longhorn, right?"

Anna? The Professor wanted him to sit next to HER? Quite honestly, Clifford would've preferred to tick with Professor Lupa.. he didn't want to get into any trouble though, and shuffled over to the Gryffindor prefect.

Ugh.

"Can I name another one, Miss?" He asked, hand in the air. "There's the Hungarian Horntail, too."

Juniper's hand shot into the air. She knew dragon breeds. And she was pretty sure that she even knew of some that had not been mentioned yet. "The Portuguese Longsnout, Professor," she said with a grin.

Maddox quickly raised his hand and replied, "there is also the Antipodean Opaleye, Professor Morgan." He smiled and put his hand back down.

Herminny raised her hand again and said, "I have read about a type of dragon from New Zealand called Antipodean Opaleye, it is said to be about medium sized for a dragon".

Freya raised her hand again, "Professor, isn't there also a-" She couldn't finish her sentence, since her hands quickly covered her mouth. 'Oh gosh! I'm sick!' Freya coughed a couple of times and stifled a sneeze, great, now she felt completely nauseous too. "I think I have to go...sorry, Ma'am".
She stood up and felt dizzy for a moment, 'I can't be developing allergies...can I?' Maybe it was all the pollen? Somebody's cologne? Something....
Without wasting any more time, she headed off to the castle, entered the doors and was gone from the rest of the class on her way to the hospital wing. There would be time to retrieve her other wand later, right now she needed to get to the nurse as soon as possible.

Jane giggled at Carden when he told on Professor Lupa. She was starting to wonder why all the Professors are high on sugary treats. I mean, going at the rate Professor Dumont was going, he was probably gonna get diabetes at the end of the lesson! And Professor Lupa, well, she was getting there. She was thinking of giving them non-sugar candy. So, it wouldn't make them that hyper.She scooted next to Professor Lupa.

"Pppsstt, Professor Lupaa??Here's some candy, they're really delicious,"Jane whispered sideways to the professor.

Jane was back to copying notes on the board about the types of dragons in the world. WOW, she thought. There are sooo many?? I Can't wait to see them!! Jane herself was getting hyper like the professors. She resisted opening a candy. She gripped her palms tight close and forced herself to pay attention.

Maybe they used the disillusionment charm on the dragons. Maybe it's right behind me!!! EEEECCKKK!

Jane turned around to flail her hands at the nothingness behind her to make sure the dragon isn't sneaking around behind her back. Then, she turned front again.

Emiliano was seating at the back of the class, listening to every question answered and taking mental notes. His mind was not there to answer for a while. Dragons, great...!!! He just loved danger.

Three professors had joined the class, two actually had come out of nowhere because of the atraction dragons brought around the school.

Anna smiled and nodded politely at the professor when she thanked her for supplying a breed of dragon not yet named. That smile didn't last for too long, though. Anna winced when she heard Professor Morgan tell Clifford...of all people...to move seats and come sit near her. Clifford and Anna didn't exactly get along. To say that they were acquaintances was even stretching the truth just a bit. Anna wasn't quite sure why they didn't get along too well, but if she remembered correctly, it had something to do with the school split back in fourth year. Nevertheless, Anna managed to smile at Clifford as he sat down next to her. Maybe by seventh year they'd mend fences and grow up just a bit.

Maybe.

Iliana smiled down at the young Ravenclaw and threw her a chocolate frog. "YES, Miss Toussaint! That's two for two." She said. CATALONIAN FIREBALL "Just remember to bring your empty wrappers to me when you're done."
Nodding encouragingly to the young girl, Iliana swished her wand towards the board again. COMMON WELSH GREEN "Excellent Kiri, thank you."
"Right as always, Clifford." She said with a wink. It was nice having his full attention again. Poor Clifford. HUNGARIAN HORNTAIL She paused, looking at the name on the board and smiled. Ethan's first dragon.
"Thank you Juniper, that's correct." She cheered. PORTUGUESE LONGSNOUT "Ok there's one more class. Who can tell me the last one?"
"Wonderful Mr. Darcy! That's exactly right." She said, finishing off the list.
