Heidi waited patiently to see if that was the correct answer. She had her quill ready just in case, to write down.

Iliana looked over at Vincent sitting there on her shoulder, precious as ever. Then she nodded at the Hufflepuff and gave him a sad smile. "It’s a horrifying thought, isn’t it?" she said. "But that’s just what they did."
"That’s correct. Marvelous answer. Three points!" she said.
"Very close. That’s a great guess." She said.
"It was indeed! Three points for your answer." Iliana replied.
"Yes, my dear. Thank you for mentioning where its located." She said, clearly impressed. "Three points!"
"It was a Snidget reservation. Good guess Mr. Karsten. Two points for you." She said.

"Very good everyone!" she said. "By the middle of the 13th century, Golden Snidget numbers had fallen so much that the Wizard’s Council, made the Golden Snidget a protected species, outlawing both its killing and its use in Quidditch. The Modesty Rabnott Snidget Reservation was founded in Somerset for the sole purpose of protecting these creatures." she explained.

"I worked for the reservation for a little over two years. Vincent here lost his mommy when he was just a day old and I have been lucky enough to raise him ever since." She said, lovingly patting him on the head. "Can anyone tell me about any other magical reservations you might have heard of?"

Set raised his hand. "Well, Helga Hufflepuff's uncle, Polarius, had a magical zoo. It was on an island and no muggle or poacher ever set foot on it." said Set. "She went to live there with her uncle whne she was just a little girl. She went to learn magic from her uncle"

Cale raised his hand. "Well, if I'm not mistaken, I think there's one in Sweden Swedish Short-Snout dragon, then of course there is the Romanian Longhorn Dragon Reservation as well," he added.

Chris raised his hand "There is a dragon reservation in Romania/"

Qaz raised her hand and replied, 'There's are unplottable forests in Burkina Faso (Africa) saved for the sole use of Runespoors.'

"That is the Swedish Short Snout Dragon Reservation" answered Damian.

Helios grimaced and folded his arms over his chest. These civilized folk and their strange ways. Where he came from you ate what you killed, and that little bird wouldn't even make a decent snack.

The boy opend his mouth, unsure if he should speak, before finally saying. "Would the forbidden forest not be considered a reserve?" He did not like that word. The world should belong to the beasts, he thought.

Hmmm she was nearly stumped by this one.Thinking back to all the books she had read her arm suddenly shot up in the air.
"Isn't there a reservation to protect Swedish short-snout dragons..in Sweden,Ma'am?"

Jake let his head slam on the desk, flinching as he remembered that punch to his eye and comparing the looming objects. Thick. Thick. Thick. He didn't know what anyone was going on about, or how they knew this stuff, so he just tried to note stuff down (after he picked his head up).

Someone mentioned the forest, and Jake turned to Professor Morgan. It seemed practical enough, but he didn't know if it was right. Kudos to the guy for working it out, though. Grrrrr, smart people.

Ana raised her hand "And what about the Fire-crab reservation in Fiji Professor?"

Helios tensed at the mention of acromantulas. "A rumour?" The hufflepuff boy muttered, rubbing his left arm. He wanted to laugh, but decided it best not to be that rude.

"Excellent. Five points!" she said enthusiastically. Very good dear, VERY good."
"Yes, the Dragon reservations. Wonderful answer. Three points." she said.
Iliana smiled brightly. "You know, I do remember hearing something about Politus Hufflepuff once. He insisted that there should be an isle for enchanted animals and so created a small zoo for Helga near his mansion. That's a delightful story. Thank you for sharing it with us." she said.
"Great answer. Two points!" she said.
Iliana laughed quietly and said, "It seems the dragons are most popular amongst our male prefects. Right you are. Two points."
"Wonderful answer. Few people remember the runespoors. Though after seeing one, I don't see how that's possible." she said. "They're truly fascinating creatures. Four points to Ravenclaw."

"As you can see, there are steps being taken to help the endangered magical creatures, so hope is not lost for the snidgets." she said, lifting Vincent from her shoulder and allowing him to rest in her hand. "Who can tell me what the snidget's Ministry of Magic rating is?"

Agie raised her hand. "It's XXXX, because it is so endangered. But not really dangerous and there are such penalties for catching them.."

"XXXX, Professor" Tobi offered with his hand raised, "Not because they're dangerous but because they're ENdangered."
