Jack stormed into the room, not looking at what was there or who was there, he walked around the room with his hands in his pockets and his eyes closed, he was so annoyed with John, his head was full of thoughts that weren't even his, he stumbled as he made his way around the room for the third time, he fell into the wall and just laid there on the floor, thinking.

Chris looked up from his conversation with Freya. They had been alone but not anymore! He looked at Professor Dumont. and the other student who had came in

He watched as a boy fell to the ground. "are you ok?' he asked the boy

"Sorry to interrupt," Antonio smiled at Chris and Freya, he hadn't seen that they were there until just now. And suddenly, at that same moment of his apologizing, who should come rushing into the room but Jack, having yet another unfortunate mishap! As he crashed into the wall Antonio rushed over to his side asking, "Are you all right?"

Chris got up and rushed over to Jack along with the Professor

Jack ignored the boy, just thinking, knowing if he opened his mouth, he'd say something stupid or something that would put him in more danger

Jack rolled onto his back and looked at Dumont, anger still etched in his face, but worry and upset were present in his eyes. He didn't answer, he just glanced scaredly at Chris and Freya.

Chris looked at Jack, he knew something was wrong. "Jack come on what's wrong?"

Antonio looked at Jack, he could see a variety of emotions present in his eyes. What had happened now? He could see that Chris and Freya wanted to help with the situation, also, and appreciated that. "What happened," Antonio asked. "Jack, can you talk?" He sighed, it seemed like just another crisis in Jack's world. He had to admit that he was starting to get used to this kind of thing, which was both sad and scary.

Jack stared at Chris and wondered whether to hit him or not. The urge was there, but there was no reason to... Jack's eyes darted around the room as he tried to calm down

Jack nodded but said nothing, he wasn't going to risk it. Dumont and him had a good teacher - student relationship, he wasn't going to ruin that by openeing his mouth, he turned to his side and put his hands under his face, stairng at Dumont's shoes, John's words bounced around in his head.

Chris just stood there looking at Jack's angry face.

Freya remained standing a little farther away, not wanting to crowd anyone too much. 'Oh dear. This one's not having very good fortune recently.' She moved a little bit closer...but only about two feet so that she could see better.

Antonio sensed an unwillingness on Jack's part to reveal what he was thinking. He also sensed a certain hostility towards Chris on his part, which he couldn't understand but was somewhat characteristic of what he knew of Jack from his past dealings. "Jack, Chris is a friend, he isn't going to hurt you. You have to learn to stop striking out in anger at people who want to help you. Now, tell me what's bothering you and I will try and help you solve your problem."

Jack looked up at Chris while biting his lip

'Okaaaaay... is this a circus?' he thought angrily, he felt like a circus freak that everyone was staring at

Jack shook his head and opened his mouth to talk, but no sound came out, he closed his mouth again and let out a small laugh "Hurt." he said "You can't help me, no-one can" he muttered quietly and almost sadly as he thought of John's words.

"Chris, we should leave them be." Freya said in a calm voice. She knew how awful it was to have to talk about things in front of others when you didn't even want anyone else to know. She picked up her bag from the floor, brushing off a bit of dust that had found it's way on the bottom.

Antonio heard Jack's words and wondered what had happened this time. "Jack, what do you mean no one can help you? What has happened to make you say that? You've got people who care, people who want to help you. Please tell me what happened!"

Chris looked sadly at Jack. He was defiantely upset. "Ok Freya lets go. Im sorry Jack for whatever happened to you. If you ever need a friend to talk to im here. Goodbye Professor Dumont." he waved as he picked up his own bag and held the door open ahead of him for Freya.

"Chin up." She said to the Hufflepuff boy as nicely as she could. Freya sighed as she looked to the exit and pushed Chris out of the door ahead of her. "I can hold my own door, Christopher." She laughed and headed down the corridor.

Jack gave Freya a grateful smiled as she asked Chris to leave

Jack watched Chris go "Bye" he waved as Chris went

Jack turned back to Dumont, trying to hold in the aching pain, but before he knew it, he was blurting out everything "I lost five thousand points and John was horrible to me about it, he said I am selfish, a spoiled four year old, the worst brother ever, he said I'm a coward, and..." Jack's voice dropped to a whisper as he shook "I need to go to St. Mungo's" Jack curled up into a ball and almost cried "And Hufflepuffs were out to get me until professor Shackleton got back four thousand and eighty points" he told Dumont, his voice was muffled by his hands though.

Antonio smiled at Chris and Freya as they walked out the door. He wanted to try and speak to them later, it was only fair, after all, they had been here talking first. "Jack, you lost how many points? But how? That's crazy, the most points I've ever heard of a student losing was 100, you would definitely be setting some sort of record with that amount. But you say you got them back, so that's good. You know how students get about house points, they are very important, after all." Antonio remembered his days at Hogwarts, when he was totally focused on earning as many points as possible. He wondered why Jack didn't quite seem to grasp that concept of being a point earner. "But what did John say to you that's made you so upset?"

Jack looked up at Dumont "Is that all you care about?" he asked incredulously "My own brother hates me and you care about house points!?" Jack wanted to smack Dumont in the face "You are just like the rest, only caring about the damn house points" Jack stood up and moved towards the door "Looks like Hogwarts isn't home anymore" he muttered before glancing at Dumont wondering if he'd stop him "John wants to send me to that nut hole" Jack growled before flinging the door open.

"Jack, wait!", Antonio called out, walking over to the door and trying to pull Jack back in. "You can't just stomp off every time you get upset, you'll never get anywhere in life. Yes, of course house points are important here at Hogwarts, but you are important, too. I'm doing everything I can to try and help you, in fact, and I don't know why you can't see that I'm trying to reach out to you. I don't think you belong at St. Mungo's, but I guess your brother was frustrated at the time he made that statement. In any case, he shouldn't have said that. You just need to be able to deal with people more calmly sometimes, and I think you would be fine. You wear your emotions on your sleeve, that's your problem."

Jack shook his head and felt himself get dragged back in the room "Why shouldn't I? I'm not even going to live that long" Jack told him "It seems like everyone cares about house points more" Jack held back a snarl 2I can see you are reaching out, but if you only cared about the points... you only asked about me after" Jack told him sadly "I know he really thinks I do" Jack told him "He'll never take it back, he's said things to me that he's been wanting to say for ages..." Jack trailed off and let out hysterical laughter "Yeah, blame me, it's all my fault that I feel other peoples emotions and hear their thoughts, I should be right in the head yeah?" Jack said sarcastically "It's all Jack Mosier's fault... blame me... everyone else does"

"No, I don't think it's all your fault, Jack, and I know that it seems that way to you sometimes. That's only because people don't understand because you are so different from them, so it's hard for them, too. It's even hard for me and I'm a teacher, so I know how hard it must be for these kids. But the fact that you are different doesn't mean that you're bad, in fact, it means that you are very special. Remember, I told you this," Antonio explained. "Not that that makes it any easier, and I really wish I could." He made a sad face, because it was really hard, all of it.

Jack shook his head "It's hard for them? What about me? Hearing everything, even if I don't want to... I am surprised I'm still sane, the truth hurts... and I hear the truth all the time..." Jack told him "Special? Yeah, special needs" Jack's expression softened as Dumont made a sad face, Jack wanted to go, leave the school, but Dumont was the only thing keeping him here "Y'know, I only want to stay at Hogwarts 'cause of you" he admitted "Everyone hates me... but you, I lost the most points... ever, and got them back... but you didn't go to kill me like most of the Huffies tried to do" Jack thought out loud.

John stormed into the room hoping it would be empty he wanted to think about things. He was angry with Jack but he was annoyed with himself how could he have been so mean to his brother, now Jack wouldn't want to talk to him and it was all his fault. He heard voices but didn't care who they were all he wanted to do was trash this place then leave before anyone could find out. He screamed as he kicked a chair and fell to the floor crying. What had he done and how on earth was he going to sort it out.

Jack looked up as John came into the room, oh, this was getting annoying now, first John was being mean, then he feeling bad about it, Jack felt angry as John came in and then just irrationally upset,the chair came flying at him and Dumont, so Jack pushed Dumont out of the way and dodged the chair himself, then he eyed John warily and took a small step forwards "John" he almost whispered, even if John had hurt him, he was still Jack's brother "John?" he asked cautiously as he approached him, glancing back at Dumont, Jack patted John on the back "It's ok, I know, but it doesn't make it better, I guess the selfish, cowardly spoilt four year old should go, he has an appointment at Mungo's" Jack said a little annoyedly before standing up and giong over to the corner so Dumont couuld deal with John calmly, Jack was nowhere near calm at the moment.
