I got it from the hospital last term, after I had some problems." Freya covered up the exposed candy and placed it in her bag again, perhaps it could be a fashion of revenge...all she would have to do is make some hot chocolate with it and Penelope would surely drink it right up. 'She'd gain fifty pounds in a night for sure.' Freya grinned a bit, realizing she probably looked demented she refocused her mind. "I'm not usually one for many sweets..."

"oh well if you really want a sweet that is awesome try some dark chocolate. Its more bitter and taste a little like coffee. But if you dont like that Honeydukes has amazing licorice wands. We should be having a Hogsmeade trip soon."

"I hope we are able to go there soon. I only went once last term, managed to get some more parchment and quills, but that was about it. I wasn't feeling much like socializing, I stay to my own small group." Freya responded as she stared at the line of stitching that she had done to her bag. "Of course the one place I actually wanted to go was off limits to students. Maybe I'll find my way back to Hogsmeade one day after I graduate and check everything else out."

Chris smiled "Well maybe you would like to go to the three broomsticks with me and some friends sometime, you Chalice and Livvy and Lizzie." he then thought for a moment. "Where did you want to go that was off limints to students the Shreiking Shack?"

Freya shook her head, "No. I wanted to go into the Hog's Head, but only staff and other adults are allowed inside...even if a student is of-age." After speaking, her head tilted slightly. "Chris, you need to find more male friends, it's really a bit disturbing that you have none." She couldn't help but grin. "Isn't that Chalice girl a metamorphmagus?" Lucy had been one too, and had scared the begeezus out of Freya when she took the form of a male professor in the girls' dormitory last year, well...sort of scared her anyway.

Chris laughed "freya i do have male friends, I talk to them all the time!" he smiled. "Chris Kaplen, 4th year Gryffindor, Jaden my year , and Sneeze my year. And i talk to Cale sometimes the Male Gryffindor Prefect aswell. Thank you very much" he then leaned in and told Freya. "Well excuse me for not being all-knowing with your social life, Chris." Freya said with a smirk. "I remember that Sneeze boy. I was going to purchase a couple of his inventions he made last term, but he kind of never got back to me." She yawned a little bit, and wondered vaguely what she would be doing later that evening. "Oh great, I'm not very fond of them. They seem more like a security issue to be honest. And she wasn't shy about letting me know what she was."

Chris smiled it was a little nerve racking to have a Metamorphagus around, you could never tell when that stranger you just saw was your friend. "So what is you favorite class this term so far?"

'Well, someone doesn't have much to say.' "I guess so far it is Care of Magical Creatures. You have heard about the project a lot of the students are doing right? Are you going to sign up as well?"

Freya told, Chris what to do, then continued on the topic. "I've been assigned a Knarl, she's so cute. I named her Noor, meaning 'light', she kept hiding her little head under my arm when I first brought her out into the sun."

"I should show her to you, she's adorable...well, I think so anyway." Freya rummaged through her bag for a moment, suddenly feeling rather homesick. "I wish we were able to take them home with us after the term is over with...I'll have to ask the professor."

She looked at him, "Of course she does, haven't you seen them?" 'I guess not.' "She keeps them in the stables near the nursery. But for once I actually enjoy taking care of something that can't crush me or rip me to shreds." Yep, it was official, Freya was becoming a softy...somewhat. 'But how can I not? With that cute widdle thing, with her beady eyes and widdle nosey...'

"Noor is almost like a hedgehog. She'll grow up to be bigger though, I think the size of a small cat. Right now she's a brown-grey color, long claws, pointy teeth and sharp quills, Noor is absolutely adorable though, I wuv her." Freya's eyes widened for a moment, 'I did NOT just say 'wuv'?!...But she's so cute!' "I let her wander around in the pen outside, she likes to dig, so she enjoyed herself. But Knarls are suspicious of others, so she wouldn't accept the food I offered her right away. But that's okay, I just need to develop some trust."

"Man of few words aren't we today, Chris?" Freya said as she took a journal from her bag and wrote a few notes down, giving a sigh as she finished, homesickness was an unpleasant feeling for her, not to mention unfamiliar. "You're going to love whatever animal you get, well, maybe not an Imp, they cause so much trouble. If you get a Knarl then, Noor and your animal can be playmates. She shook her head, "I'm just writing stuff down, so I don't forget." Freya replied, "Do you ever get homesick at all?" It was an odd question, but at least it was honest and straight to the point. "Oh, and when you get your animal, let me know so that I can go with you..."

Chris frowned "Yeah a little sometimes." he always kinda missed his parents even was he was home, they were always out doing something either his dad was off in some other country for work or his mom was off at a photo shoot. He was always left with Martha the house maid. Thats why he charished the weeks vacation or so when he can be with his parents. He cheered up a bit more to hep out his friend with her homsickness. "Yes i will definatly tell you so you can come with me to get the creature."

Freya furrowed her brow a little bit, biting her lip. Her mind went blank, so she just waited while she silently sat on her stool and held her bag...lost in thought again.

This was something Tobi had been putting off since he had discovered he had had to do it.

Time was ALMOST up, and.. well to tell you the truth, the thing that was scaring him the most, okay, second most, was Anna, she may seem sweet, but he had seen her tackle poor defenseless third years in Quidditch. No, she could be brutal and rutheless when she wanted things, and he was pretty sure she wanted to win the House Cup more than anything else. And Anna Greingoth, Tobi suspected, was not above violence and intimidation.

Also haunting him was the reputation of 3 prodigious older sisters to live up to. Why did he have to be the only one not sorted into Ravenclaw blast it all? He wasn't a scholar! He was a cook! Most of all, he was dangerous with spells and charms.

Tobi set up his lock in the empty classroom, looking a supply cupboard firmly shut. By means of extra precaution, he overturned a (relatively) empty desk, remains of old half eaten biscuts and bits of parchement tumbling to the floor as he laid it on its side.

He ducked behind it, using it for cover.

Okay, nothing to be afraid of, just that you usually cause minor burns and blasts when you use your wand. Why couldn't we be trying a blasting curse or a flame charm? Bet I'd be a natural at those.

Tobi didn't realy aim, he merely poked his arm and wand over the top of his barrier like a periscope and whimpered, "A-alehhomora?"

Zzap!

"Uh oh!" Tobi poked his head up to survey the damage. 4 feet wide of the cupboard a 3 inch burn had appeared on the blackboard.

"Maybe no one will notice?"

Tobi ducked down again and took the same form as before, not looking where he was pointing and not feeling very confident. "Alahomora!" he said very quicky and not troubling with his pronunciation.

Ziiiing! The charm must have somehow hit its mark, but it wasn't a good spell because it bounced right off and flew over inches Tobi's head. "Yikes!"

Sizzle! another burn mark appeared in the opposite wall.

"Oh this is getting ridiculous!" Tobi grumbled pulling his crumpled Charms notes out of the pocket of his robes. He re-read all he had taken down about pronounciation and wand motion, which wasn't much, but it was better than his "soldier in a foxhole" approach.

Tobi stood, a little tense, ready to drop quickly if it should all go wrong, and repeated the spell in his head several times. When he was quite sure he had it right he swished his wand wide, and pointed at the lock, and said the incantation aloud, in a strong clear (okay fine, not AS wavery) voice, "AL-o-ho-MOR-ah!"

It was horribly anti-climactic butthe lock simply fell open and clattered to floor.

Ofcourse, Tobi was so tense that the noise scared the living daylights out of him and he dropped to the floor and hid behind the desk for a good twenty seconds until he realized he was NOT in danger.

"Oh, right.." he muttered sheepishly and collected himself and the lock from the floor. He righted the desk and cleared out of the room in short order.

"We are the champions, my friends..." he sang (offkey) like a fool as he skipped down the hallway.

Antonio felt something practically pull him into this abandoned classroom as he was walking into the castle from outside, he couldn't quite describe what it was but he wanted to be here. It was as if a large magnet were drawing him inside. He looked around, this really would make an excellent classroom, and he couldn't figure out why it had been abandoned in the first place or what the subject was which had been first taught here. He felt an unexplainable urge to giggle as he looked around.
