Chris smiled at the look she gave him and said "Sorry!" with a somewhat embarrised way. "Well she was probobly really scared. I know i wouldn't want to face you when you were mad." he smiled and remembered something. "I was scared of you the first time we dueled last term in the practice dueling arena. You remember? That was when we first started hanging out."

Freya laughed, "You were actually scared then? What did you think I was going to do something horrible in front of instructors and witnesses? Yeah right." Okay, not the smartest thing to say. "Do you think I'm capable of harming someone like that?" Freya asked, sure she knew what the answer would be. But then again, Chris didn't really know her that well.

"Well i wasn't afraid you were going to hurt me." he smiled at her and he knew she hated it when people toucher her but he put his hand on her arm. "I was wrong about you. You are a wonderful person, and you are probobly my best friend." he smiled "No i dont think you would hurt anybody."

Freya brought Chris' arm back to his side. "Thanks." She said, not knowing what else to do. "It'd be nice if I thought the same thing. What about, Lizzie? Shouldn't she be a head above? Hey, how about that, I didn't smack you across the head." Freya said in response to Chris touching her.

Chris smiled he knew she was trying. "Well Lizzie is my girlfriend and a good friend but you are my best friend apart from her." he laughed as she metioned not hitting him. "yeah that is a good step."

Freya stared at the floor for a moment, then brought her eyes back up to see Chris. "What do you believe is the worst thing you have ever done?"

'Well i acciedntally burned down the owlery at my house and then we had to build a new one." he said. thinking

'What?!' "That's it?!" Freya said a bit surprised, "That's the worst you've ever done?" Man, way to make her look like a complete villain...

"Well im not that old yet." he said "I'm sure i will do worse things in the future." he looked at her.

'Ugh.' "Yeah, probably..." Was all Freya would say as she looked out of a dusty window that allowed a bit of light into the room. "I am not looking forward to Herbology class today..." 'But I have to go.'

Chris ignored her last statement. "Is there something wrong, Freya?" he asked her

She glanced up at Chris again, "That depends on what you consider to be 'wrong'."

'Whats bothering you besides this whole dormintory thing?" he asked looking at her

Her eyes gleamed, they must have resembled her mother's with that hint of malice lurking in the shadows. "Nothing's bothering me, Chris." Freya told him stifly, but with eery calm.

Chris loooked down with disappointment. "Fine" he said

"Chris stop being such a moody brat and toughen up!" She said suddenly, as she grabbed her bag from the floor next to her. "What I've done is done and there's nothing I can do about it. It's over with, got it?"

Chris looked up from his glaring at the ground. "Freya, i wasn't hinting that what you did was bad or you shouldn't have done it! I was just trying to help you deal with it! If i had something that was bothering me i would tell you so you could maybe help me!" he said to her a little louder than he should have.

Freya stood up quickly, perhaps overly so because her vision blurred for a moment. "I haven't told you anything, Chris Potter!" She said back to him aggressively, "I suppose you took the opportunity while I visited over the summer to see what would happen to me eh? You little shrew...you saw what I did, didn't you?!" Freya was tempted to grab her wand from her cloak pocket, but that wouldn't go over well with the schoolboard.

Chris watched as Freya stod up and acussed him. "Freay, i told you i would never use my powers to spy on anyone. I can't believe your acuseing me of that i woudn't ever do that!" he said standing up. "tyhe only reason i know something hapned was because you were all banged up when you cam eo t my house, and you told me where you were going. And what do you think i thought that you fell down or something? Im not an idiot Freya. I dont know exactly what happened but I can put two and two together. "

"Well what do you think happened, Chris? No. I'll tell you. My mother's greatest accomplishment was unleashed and killed her. That's what happened, happy now?!" Freya's blood was boiling again, it seemed that her good behavior streak was slowly being defeated. She didn't stop there, "I tried to stop it, but I was too late, that's why I was all bruised up. Satisfied?"

Chris stood there quietly and let that sink in. "Freya im sorry." he said about the whole situation between her and her mother or whatever happened. And about getting into this arguemnet with her. "Lets just drop this i wont ask agian until your ready to talk or whatever you never have to talk about it if you dont want to. Lets just talk about something else." he said calmly sliding back to the floor against the wall.

Freya gave a scowl, allowing the lines on her young face to become more apparent. "You're lucky you don't have to put up with what I did, Chris." She sat back down on the stool and let her bag fall to the ground. "I get so tired sometimes...my mind never settles down." It was like living every moment of life in constant stress or restlessness. Freya could literally work herself to death if it were allowed, so it was good to sit down for a while.

Chris smiled as freya calmed down and stayed. He really wanted to help her. he nodded as she expressed how stessed and tired she was. "You see Freya what you have to do is just sometimes do nothing. You have to cut away from everything and just rest." he looked at her face and could tell she was tired. "I know you Freya, and i know you like to think that no one does. But you are a very hard working person and you just need a break. And if you can't just leave everything for a few ours or so write it all down and keep it hidden somewhere, but you have to find a way to get away and relax." he smiled to her waiting fo rher response and hoped she would take his advice.

'Tired and worn out...and I'm not even twenty, might as well just retire early.' "I know. But venting my emotions makes others worry, and I don't want that to happen." She looked over at Chris, "Sometimes people don't need to know everything that is going on, it doesn't matter if they are family, or friendly, certain things are better left unsaid." She could fall asleep right here if she wanted to, or tried to. Reaching into her bag Freya pulled out the chocolate bar that she had gotten from the hospital wing last term, she smiled slightly and gave a short laugh as she looked at it. Only a single square from the candy was gone, and Freya would most likely keep the rest in case she ever needed it again. Nevertheless, she took a very tiny bite, thought for a moment, then remained silent.

Chris smiled as she started to understand his advice, "Well your right people dont need to know everything about you and i respect that and i will back off some ok." he then smiled as she pulled outthe choclate bar. "You like chocolate?"
