Excited about this game, Evangeline got up and picked up a green badge, pinning it just beneath her Prefect one. EEEEP! She looked sooo green now. Hehe. Nodding at the Professor, she returned to her desk and put all her stuff inside her bag, proceeding then to make her way out of the room. |
OOC: I'll put the badge on as soon as I get home. ^_^ Anna watched as Professor Kazimeriz waved his wand and conjured four baskets, each containing badges representing the four houses of Hogwart's students. As the basket containing the red badges made its way around to her, Anna reached in and grabbed one, pinning it to her sweater just below her prefect's badge. She then listened as the professor discussed the rules and procedures for the lab portion of the lesson. Anna paid careful attention as Professor Kazimeriz explained the proper wand motions for casting the spells he'd listed on the board. Anna's eyes widened as the students were told that they would now play a little game. Were they going to really be able to cast these spells on one another? ...and have the spells casted on them? Awesome! Anna's face broke out into a wide smile, and she happily rose to sign her name to the sheet that would indicate her participation. Once her name was on the sheet, Anna gathered her materials and left the room, wand in hand, of course. |
Glancing at Copernicus, Liz nods. Taking a badge from the Ravenclaw basket, she puts it on her robe. |

Nancy's blue eyes started to twinkle in excitement as she listened to Professor Kazimeriz' explanation of what they were going to do the over next two days. Hopefully this whole thing wasn't about to turn into a huge house-fight but, well, as long as Slytherin won it wasn't too much of a problem. Cough. As the basket reached her desk the third year quickly took a Slytherin badge to pin it to the front of her black robes before standing up to go scribble her name down onto the participation-list. How exciting! With a small wave to the professor Nancy quickly gathered her things and almost stormed out of the classroom with her wand tightly clutched in her hand. |
So they were basically going to attack each other at random times around the school. But not their housemates, and not people without the badges. That seemed simple enough. Juniper grabbed a blue badge from the basket and stuck it on her robes. There. Now she was vulnerable. The fourth year scribbled her name on the lab sheet, then packed up her things and swung her bag over her shoulder. Wand in hand, she left the classroom, her hazel eyes darting every which way. |
She packed up there things with a wicked smirk on her face. She turned around and glanced at some of her fellow students and with that she dashed out of the classroom and down the halls in search of her first victim. |
Lasca couldn't believe what she was hearing. They were being given permission to attack one another. This class was turning out to be her favorite one! Grinning like a fool she grabbed a badge out of the Ravenclaw basket and pinned it to her robes. Then she glanced around taking in the faces of those who also had on badges. She was just glad that she wouldn't be attacking housemates. Mariel and Lyra were safe. She hadn't seen Sarah yet today. I wonder if Sarah would attack me? |
Tobi affixed his badge to his robes. "This is such a dangerous idea!" he muttered. With that idea fixed firmly in his brain he tried the shield charm again. DANGER! his mind screamed. DANGER! "PROTEGO!" he bellowed swishing his wand and pointing it away from him. Another large shield erupted from the tip. Well that might be the trick then, might it? Took a deep breath, shook his wand a little, and the shield collapsed around itself. More confident, and he had Professor Scary Man to thank for it, Tobi gathered his things. It was then that he noticed his ink stain. Oh yeah. Uh... Sweep. Point. "Scourgify?" Sizzle. "Uh Oh." Well the stain wasn't green anymore... |
Tino followed Tobi up to the front of the classroom and gingerly took a blue badge. He shot his friend a look of anticipatory horror. "I am going to die," he whispered feverishly. Then he straightened up like a man, and marched out of the classroom. If he was to be executed, he would do so with honor. |
William listened carefully, his little hand flying across his parchment and writing everything down, even a few notes about what was what. When someone handed him a basket he readily took a badge, his blue eyes grinning as he affixed it to his chest. Oh, this was going to be fun, who knew Mr. Meanie Pants had a fun side to him he thought looking around. He would definitely try to protect himself, if that meant going into a small room and practicing the shield charm until he had it down then he would. Now to find a good place to practice. |

And TINO! The FINK! as USUAL hadn't even stopped to help. He probably hadn't even noticed. Moon-brained fourth year! "Well UNFORTUNATELY Professor Scare's-the-PANTS-off-of-me isn't as Moon-Brained as you are, Tino, so he's gonna notice!" Tobi muttered, spitting on his sleeve, getting down on all fours and trying, futilely, to scrub the char mark away. |
Lasca had gathered her things to leave. She would have to step over a boy that was scrubbing something on the floor. She noticed a small char mark. She bent down and looked at the boy. "Are you needing some assistance?" Her Papa had taught her some household charms and one came to mind for this particular instance. "Evanesco." That small scorch mark disappeared. She smiled at the Gryffindor boy. "Good as new." |
Ludo took a blue badge from the appropriate basket. He was curious as to what its meaning would be. He pinned it to the front of his robes and listened as the Professor explained. He smiled. "Oh...this will be fun. Really fun. Magic in the halls...and no dentention!" Making up his mind quickly, Ludo got up and signed the lab sheet. |
As Elizabeth saw Ludo get up to sign up for the game, she grinned. If he was going to, she wasn't going to hold back. Even though she couldn't hex him. Maybe they could work together or something, target others. And it would also be a way to possibly get to know more people from other houses, along with excellent practice. Walking up to the front of the classroom, she took a blue badge and affixed it to the front of her school robes, feeling oddly like she had the term before with her prefect's badge. But that was gone now, and she got over the weird feeling as she quickly signed the lab sheet, then made sure she knew all the hexes and jinxes before she left the classroom. |
Chris walked up and picked up a Gryffindor DADA badge. This would be fun! He signed up for the cool game! |
Heidi was really excited about this. She picked a badge from the basket and pinned it on her robe. She signed up and was ready to play the game. |
Abby takes out a Hufflepuff badge when its basket is passed to her. She puts it on her robe. Abby gathers up her stuff and leaves the classroom. |
When the basket of badges came around to his spot, Dominic gingerly took a golden badger one out and pinned it carefully to his black school robes - just below his prefect badge. This was going to be exciting; freedom to hex and jinx other houses, but not his own. Oh he was sooo taking those claws down! Scribbling his name on the lab sheet, Dominic slung his bag over his shoulder and then exited the room, wand in hand, looking for his first victim. |

He deposited the now bewildered looking girl back on the floor and continued packing up his bag. |
Lasca gave a small start and sputtered as the Gryffindor lifted her off the ground in a great big hug. The action knocked the air from her lungs, so that when he finally put her down she was gasping for air. She put out a hand on the table in front of her to steady herself. "You are welcome." A small smile came to her face. She turned back and signed her name on the project roll and then made her way out of the classroom. Before leaving she turned and gave the Gyffindor boy a small curtsy. "I am Lasca, by the way." |
Meredith was rather excited to be visiting the classroom and opted to wait in the back as to not interrupt. She'd get the Professor to explain more to her whenever it was more convenient. She held the note that had been sent to her in one hand and ran her hands through her hair with the other. As excited as she was she didn't wish any of the children harm. |
Just as Tobi finished packing his bag he caught sight of Nurse of his Dreams. Had she always been there? How had he not seen her before? Did she see the great sheilds he had made? OH NO! Did she see him hug Lasca? She knew she meant nothing to him, right? RIGHT??!?! Tobi scrambled over to her like an overexcited puppy. "Nurse of- Brooks-Byron! Hi! How are you? What brings you to the first floor?" he babbled. |
Meredith looked around at the sound of a familiar voice. "Ahh Tobi, hello!" She told him as he came to see her. "I'm here because Professor Kazi...professor Kazim...because the professor asked me to be here actually." Bugger, she should at least learn the professor's name and how to pronounce it correctly if she was going to help him. |
Tobi's eyebrows shot up into his perpetual bedhead curls. "Professor Sca- The Professor WANTED you here? I mean not that I don't want you here, you're the greatest person I ever met, but asking a nurse to a practical lesson, that kinda doesn't bode well, does it?" Maybe it wasn't about her being a Nurse. Maybe she was part of demonstration. Maybe next class I'll have to save her from something horrible and she'll be so grateful we'll get married and have babies and live happily ever - steady Avalon. |
