Kayla sat at her desk quietly decorating her acorn and she raised her head for a moment and looked at the three students that were chatting. "May I make a small suggestion? It might be a good idea if you went back to working on your acorn and stop your talking." Kayla gave Cedric a stern look, "Especially you, I don't want any points lost for Hufflepuff."

With that said she went pack to her acorn, placing bits of material here and there. Hmm...she needed something for the hair but what could she use? Smiling to herself she bent down and took Webster out of her bag and placed him on the table. Kayla didn't say anything, she didn't have to she knew that her tarantula would know what she wanted. While she waited for Webster to produce some webbing, she went back to drawing some eyes on her acorn.

Paris was really about to back at the Slytherin girl for chatting in class but Kayla beat her to it. She honestly didn't get why people couldn't just shut up and get their work done. She returned her attention back to her acorn. She had painted it with green and silver stripes. She sprinkled glitter on the green stripes. She sat it on the table and looked at it. "It need something else," She mused to herself trying to think of what else she could add to it.

Elizabeth walked into Charms, her hand stuck inside her schoolbag and curled around the acorn she had retrieved from the grounds during one of her trips to visit Macavity. If she hadn't already been half-convinced Professor Ashby was a little crazy, being told she had to bring an acorn to class had cemented that theory.

At least she saw Mariel and Cela in class already. So they were still going to have Ravenclaw represented, even if she couldn't figure out the logic behind acorn puppets in Charms class. Getting to an empty desk, she withdrew her hand from her bag, still curled around the acorn, as she then dropped the bag on the floor near the desk. Then she went up to the professor's desk, gathering a few beads, paint, a little bit of colored wire and some other supplies. As she turned around again, she saw that a few of the younger students had chosen to enlarge their acorns, but she chose to be different.

Making her way back to the desk, she sat down as she spread her supplies out, staring at her acorn for a few seconds. Then she pulled her wand out, using a severing charm to detach the cap from the rest of the acorn and revealing the interior. Which she cleared out to make a hole large enough for one of her fingers, before flipping the acorn over and sticking the cap on the tip to create what looked like a tiny skirt, which she then painted two shades of blue. Setting the acorn aside to dry, she then picked up a small round wooden bead, drawing a tiny face on it with a black pen, before going back to her acorn skirt. Picking up a cylindrical bead, she stuck it to the top of her acorn skirt to create a body, sticking the wire through it to create tiny arms. Then she attached her bead head to the other end of the body bead. Digging through her supplies, she found some golden thread and held it carefully on the bead, before quietly saying "Adhaero." Ironically, the area was so tiny she didn't have to draw the charm out, which she found funny, but at least her little acorn bead puppet had hair now. After adding a tiny headband out of blue thread, she set her tiny doll/puppet on her desk to look at it.

Cedric was quite disappointed because there's someone who interrupt their chatting..as he turned his head to know who owns the voice...it was Kayla,the Prefect and one of his friends.."Sorry!Kayla...."Cedric said with a weak smile...then he was finishing his acorns...he add a beautiful girly pink hat to his girl acorn..."Adhaerro.."he muttered so the hat was stick to the acorn

Raiden made his way quietly into the Charms classroom, fist closed around an acorn that had been rather difficult to find. There had been many, for sure, but this one... was perfect. It didn't have any little wormy holes in it, the cap was on perfectly, and... it was just lovely in general.

Sinking into a vacant chair, he stared at the acorn in his hand for a moment, planning. It would be whatever they wanted, right? Hmmm... Standing abruptly, he set his acorn down on the desk and went to the Professor's desk to get supplies.

Pipe cleaners. He wanted pipe cleaners. And felt. Oooh, this felt remarkably Muggle, this puppet-making business. He loved it.

The problem was going to be getting something to use as hair. If she was turning her acorn into Professor Bunbury, Cela would need the right texture and the right shade. Hmmm. And another dilemma, Cela knew to use pink, but would she make a Professor Bunbury with fancy heels that didn't like dirt? Or a Professor Bunbury with comfy slouch ugh boots that liked to climb trees. Hmmm. Maybe she should make a Professor Lupa instead.

Musing over this, Cela stood and headed to the front desk, picking up a few supplies and returning to her own desk to start figuring it all out.

Via like the others started to decorate her acorn. Rummaging her bag for the things she brought for decorating, she pulled out a bag of art stuff. Inside it were pieces of cloth in different colors, ribbons and others. She was wondering at the moment on what should be the look of her puppet. Perhaps she should make it look like her sister, Nat. Yes! That's it. She looked for a combination of colors for her ribbons and clothes. Seeing there's no glue at the Professor's table, she's a witch, so she'll gonna use the sticking charm.

Arranging the things into her acorn, and after setting all in it's places she started to fix them. She set golden yellow strands and brown strands for her hair. "Adhaaaeeeero," Via said, casting the spell and tracing the laces and ribbons into the acorn.

Clifford hated acorns. He'd almost skipped this lesson simply due to the mysterious acorn business, but he was going to be brave. Riiiight. Wrinkling his nose, the sixth year began decorating his acorn, making it look like a ... puppet.

Using that handy sticking charm, he managed to give his acorn two goooogly eyes and some bright red hair. YAY! At least it looked less ... acorny now.

Resisting the urge to stick the acorn in his mouth and nom to his heart's content, Jake eyed it thoughtfully. He didn't like this kind of stuff, but siiiiiiiiiigh it had to be done. Frowning a little, Jake slumped over the desk and considered the acorn for a second. Why couldn't they draw on it? This sucked, it was like... major overkill. Grrrrrrr.

Jake went up to get some stuff and decided to go for the minimalist approach... but... how was he supposed to decorate an acorn? It was tiny. Googly eyes should do it... and green hair.

"Aaaadhaaeeroo..." Jake murmured fixing the hair on first. Then went on the first eye, but he managed to catch the hair. "Avexis... stupid thing," he muttered, sticking it on a second time, along with the other one.

Setting down the punk acorn, Jake leaned back and waited, folding his arms and staring towards the front of the room.

Make their acorn look more like a puppet? Eh? That was a bit weird, but who was Evangeline to refuse to do something a teacher had told them too? Or written, since he wasnt actually there.

Setting her bag onto her desk, Evangeline grabbed her hand and picked up her acorn. Hmmmm. She worked on it for a bit, using the sticking charm. When she was done, her acorn now had dark-ish hair and bright blue eyes. Hehe.

Acorns, acorns, acorns!
Paint paint paint! Miranda was so excited to start decorating heracorn, but she was still figuring out how and what to put on it.

She decided to get up and go rummage through the things the Professor had brought them. And no glue...well, now was a good time as any to practice the spell.
Picking out some feathers, googlly eyes and some glitter, Miranda made her way back to her seat. Maybe I have something in my bag!

Cedric saw Via entered the classroom...oh!my crush..I will do my best to this class so she will think that I'm Awesome,He thought

Daniel shook his head in disappointment with the others, and did not want to join them, made his own acorn puppets. He made two and pointed his wand towards them. In an instant the male dressed acorn-puppet stands and assisted the female acorn puppet.

Daniel smiled as he saw the puppets dance in a waltz tune, so that was what he thought. He swayed his head back and forth in tune with the dancing. He then proceeded with his book and let the puppets have some merry time.

Miles happily strolledi nto the classroom, his lufferly acorn in his pocket. He could sense that today was a fun lesson, since it involved acorns, and as he glanced at the board, DECORATING THEM!

A grin appeared on his already happy face as he took a seat and placed his acorn infront of him. "What to do with you.." He pondered out loud, staring at his acorny friend. Almost straight away, he picked up some grass which he pulled out of the ground earlier and used the sticking charm to stick it to his head. The acorns, that is. "Gorgeous."

Qaz entered and read the instructions. After she had deposited her bag at her seat, she went up and got some supplies. Felt, glitter, some paint, a couple pipe cleaners. Not much to work with....but she always had good stuff stashed in her bag...

She went back to her seat and pulled out the acorn that her tabby, HiJinx, had collected for her. First things first, she pulled out her wand and made her acorn much bigger and therefore, much easier to work with. Then she scrounged in her bag for a few more items....some wire, a few pretty stones, a couple small candies, some string, a few beads, a couple small hairbinders and some clear nail polish. Her hobbies came in handy in situations like this. For one thing, she usually carried a few of her tools, her knife, tweezers, a small wire cutter, mail scissors and a couple of emory boards should do the trick. She wished that she had her little drill, but batteries didn't fair well at Hogwarts.

Now, for a design. Male or female...and what about a personality. Qaz looked over her supplies, trying to envision what her creation could look like.

Chris Potter grabbed an acorn and took a seat ad pulled his wand out to be ready to stick his supplies to the about-to-be-puppet. He look around him and decided to put some cool blue glitter all over the brown surface of the acorn he took his wand in his right hand and said the sticking spell. "Adddhaeerrooo!!." as he dumped the glitter onto the surface of the acorn, so that when he was done he hade a no blue and sparkley acorn. He thought it looked pretty cool. He then found two google eyes and stuck each of them on the front of the acorn, and next a small piece of red yarn to make a face, which he attached all of these items with the Adhaero spell.

Emalyn entered the classroom and read the note quickly, taking her acorn, a couple of supplies and sitting down. She got her wand out and thought. What exactly should she be doing to it? A puppet, she knew. But...she had never been one to be creative, unless it came to actually drawing. She started by drawing a face on the acorn in bright green, so that it stood out on the browness of the acorn.

Anna stared at her acorn, wondering how on Earth she was going to decorate it. She wasn't exactly skilled in the art of acorn-decorating. Acorns were so tiny and fragile and...sooooo not meant to be decorated. Ahhh, well. She'd have fun regardless. Anna stared at her acorn, trying to spark some inspiration and come up with a cute way to decorate it. Hmm...Ohhh, she knew exactly what she wanted to do with her acorn! She needed a stick, though...or at least something that resembled one. Anna grasped her acorn in her hand and strolled up to the front of the room to look through the supplies the professor had left for them.

Tobi met Anna at the desk. He need sticks. Like a few. In all shapes and thicknesses. His puppet, luckily, required no hair or hair repressentation. It was bald. but something to represent leaves....

"This is so not my thing," he said simply digging through materials, collecting what he needed. He shrugged and gave her a weak smile and headed back to his seat, which, incidently wasn't that far from hers. So surely she'd be privy to all his artistic failures. He was NOT a sculptor blast it all.

Anna lightly dug through the materials, finally finding a few small sticks she could use for her creation in the making. She only needed one, though, so she laid it aside and studied the other materials. There was felt...that she could use. Anna pulled out two pieces---one red and one gold---and laid those to the side right next to her stick. Hmm..now for a ball. She needed something round. Ohh, a cotton ball! That would do! Since the acorn was tiny and fragile, Anna wouldn't be able to attach anything much stronger to it. Seeing Tobi walk up and join her, Anna shot him an apologetic smile and shrugged. At least he was being a good spirit about this assignment.

Okay, so the materials list now include one acorn, a small stick, two pieces of felt, and a cotton ball. In a matter of seconds, Anna had added two googly eyes, some red puffy paint, and some gold glitter to that list. Satisfied with what she'd picked up, Anna returned to her seat, ready to get started and create her little acorn man!

William frowned at his acorn, trying to ponder what in the world they'd be doing. What had he seen, puppet? Okay, that should be interesting. Looking at the materials around him he got an idea, an idea so brilliant he had to grin as he picked up colorful felt, pink to be exact, a marker, of which color he didn't really care, two eyes, some hair and some sparkly glitter. Glitter was the best in his opinion. Thinking he had enough to go with he walked over to his desk and sat down, putting the supplies down in order of how he'd attach them.

First he got into his mode, he loved crafts, he was very crafty in the art of crafts. He wondered if there was any thing he could not do with crafty stuff. His 11 year old brain moved at a steady pace as he set his fragile acorn down and looked at it, eyes squinting as he pondered where to begin. Well, first he should probably attach the eyes, so taking out his wand he smiled, the spell already in his mind. "Aaaddddhhhaeerrooo." he said tracing the spot he needed for the eye. Taking his finger off the eyes he nodded as it stuck. He did the same with the second eye and put the acorn down looking at his creation so far. Okay, now for eyebrows he thought, taking his marker, black of course and drawing two lines to make it look like the puppet-acorn was glaring at him.

He nodded once more and picked up some hair, carefully attaching it with the Sticking Charm again. The hair was short and brittle, kind of like hair he had seen on one of the Frankenstein movies he had watched at home before coming to school. Yes, his puppet was going to be mean alright. Now for the pink felt; he took the marker and carefully drew dark blue spots on the felt, making it look like a leopard or another animal striped print before carefully attaching it to his puppet man. With the pink polka dotted felt it was starting to look like a puppet man he thought getting up and hurrying over to the supplies again to grab some sticks for arms and legs. Walking over he then stuck the blue glitter to the sticks and carefully broke them to bend them into shape. The two arms sticks looked like they were crossed against each other, like arms crossed on a human, while the two legs sticks were straight.

"Aaaddddhhheeerrrooo." he said, his wand moving to stick the two legs to the bottom of the acorn. He did the same with the arms but frowned. They were lopsided, not at all like he wanted. "Avexis." he stated, taking off the one arm then reattaching it to be even with the other. Now that the final body parts were on, he began drawing the face; a tiny nose and a scowling mouth. There, he was finished now and looked up to see if the professor had come back from where ever he was.

Rian laughed quietly when she entered the room and read the instructions. Decorate the acorn? She shook her head, chuckling. She grabbed a few supplies off of Ashby's desk and found one of her own.

She frowned as she looked at her acorn. It looked so plain... she grinned as she thought about what to do. A boy acorn, she decided, and grabbed a piece of black fabric. She stuck it to the top of the acorn, and pulled at it, making it look like spiky hair.

After attaching half-toothpicks for arms and legs, she put on two different colors of fabric - black and blue - for the Hogwarts/Ravenclaw robes. She chuckled to herself, wondering how childish she looked to the other students. Then she realized she didn't really care.

She added a face; two brown eyes and a smirk. She left off the nose, though, because the it made the acorn look weird. She stuck a part of a toothpick onto the left arm, it serving as a wand. Obviously, the acorn was left-handed. She grinned to herself and sat back to admire her handy-work.

"An acorn puppet?"
Sarah stood trying to make sure she was reading the instructions correctly. "What could a puppet possibly have to do with Charms?"
Shaking her head she went to the front of the class to retrieve some supplies.Gathering up a bunch of yellowy items she headed to a vacant seat near the back.Dumping the items in the desk,she sat down and fumbled around in her bag for the acorn she had found a couple of days earlier.

"This school just gets weirder and weirder..." she muttered to herself as she set about adding eyes and hair to her once bald acorn.

After reading the instructions from the professor and grabbing some cool supplies from the front desk, Lizzie smiled to herself as she looked about her, searching for an empty seat. A lot of students were already working on their acorns, and walking past them she watched their puppets take shape. Finally spotting an empty seat next to Chris, her face broke into a happy smile as she gave him a hug and sat down next to him. Hi Chris! How are things? Eyeing his acorn curiously, she giggled slightly and set all of her own supplies down in front of her. Hmm.. I guess I'd start by giving it some eyes... she said thoughtfully.

Cela had her acorn in one hand and various crafty bits and pieces arranged in front of her. She knew what she'd do: there was alot of pink stuff in Cela's collection. Did they make crafty... what was it called... Pruda? Pread? Prada? Yeah that was it, did they make crafty Prada?

She made a decision about the hair, and used diffindo to cut a little of her own off. Colour change charm! It took a few goes to get the colour to be the right kind of red, but Cela was sure it was as close as she'd get it. Now for the dilemma of the type of Bunbunz she'd make. Oooooh!

Problem solved! Costume change Bunbunz!

She looked at her acorn again before getting to work.
