Qaz had tried to unstick the Professors, but gave up when things started going crazy. She moved to the back of the room and watched the show. Most entertaining. The Professors sure were acting strange.

After the Professors were unstuck, Qaz helped move the furniture from the room. I wonder what's next? How on earth were they going to top that?

She kept her distance as best she could, hoping to avoid any unwanted entanglements...

"ENOUGH!" Ian's voice boomed across the classroom. "Class, why are you not moving the desks and chairs like I asked you to? Yes, Professor Bunbury is a very interesting woman to speak with, but honestly. You are in CLASS. Now is NOT the time for chit chat." His eyes were blazing and he was huffing and puffing. Being angry got him SO out of breath.

"And speaking of Professor Bunbury," Ian added while walking over to her, "I have to thank her for taking time out of her day to help me put on part of this lesson. She is a lovely actress, isn't she? She fooled all of you into thinking she was crazy! And so did I! Except, well, I'm normally like this. Yes." Ah, he was rambling. Teacher mode! Teacher mode!

"For the next part of class, I want you to partner up. Yes, yes, I know," he said, expecting all the groans that came, "Partnering up is a pain, but for this lesson, it is essential....And DON'T FORGET to move the furniture!"



While he waited for the students to move the tables and chairs and partner up, he went around to each wall, cleaning off the glue. As soon as that was done, he walked over to Professor Bunbury and the crowd that surrounded her. "Move along, there's nothing to see here," Ian said to the students. "Get to work.

"Professor, thank you so much for assisting me in my lesson today. You really are quite the convincing actress! And, I must say, it was actually sort of fun being stuck to that wall until the class got out of hand." He sighed. "Children these days just aren't what they used to be."



OOC: I'll be out of my dorm room for the rest of the day, so I won't be here to watch you, but Professor Ashby still is. Be good and keep the chatter to a minimum. I will take points for what I deem excessive chatter. Thank you.

"Hi Anna,I'm Sarah," she responded. "Right.Well I have that one too,but it's back in the Huffie girls dormitry and I'm not sure I could go and get it now."
She stood smiling at Bunbury,watching,amused,as she ate the chocolate frog another student had given her.
"Maybe Professor Bunbury could borrow it another time,or later today if she wants to pick it up."
Sarah leant in closer to the Gryffindor prefect and whispered to her. "Do you know what is wrong with her? She certainly doesn't seem to be herself..."

There was a sudden bellowing noise from the other side of the room and Sarah jumped out of her skin.Turning round she saw Professor Ashby going almost puce with anger at them.
She didn't really think it wise to point out that she had moved some of the furniture already.Granted it was only a couple of chairs and one table,but still it was something.
She edged away from the group around Bunbury when Ashby came over to them and went back to her bag.Stacking a couple of chairs on top of each other,she picked up her bag as well and she moved closer to the now clean wall by the door and looked around for a partner.
Oh this is going to be bad.I never get picked by anyone for these things!, she sighed.

Lyra stopped moving everything but her eyes as her mouth fell open. Why was Banana calling professors...Alice? But it seemed as though Cale was in the same boat as Lyra. "I remember Professor Vindictus speaking to us in the restricted section of the Library about Alice and the looking glass but, I don't get why we are talking about this in the middle of charms. Vindictus said that a looking glass was more along the lines of Divination, not Charms." And thus she needed to speak to the Divinations professor once more.

She then looked around the classroom for a partner to pair up with since this was the first time she had ever seen Professor Ashby mad. That was one person she didn't want to make mad in any way.

Jack rolled his eyes "I already moved 4 desks!" he exclaimed before grabbing another desk and dragging it out of the room, he kicked the desk in frustration and dragged it down the corridor so people weren't met by a load of stacked up desks as soon as they could be bothered to drag one out, as soon as Jack got the desk to the end of the corridor, he slid round the corner and out of sight, he had to sort out his hair, it wasn't possible to sit in that room with gluey hair.

William jumped - literally - off the desk and scurried to the desks and chairs, hurrying to make the professor happy again. "Sorry Sir!" He exclaimed as he lifted one desk, moving to the wall to move it out of the way. And this gave him time to groan inside about the partner bit. That was something he hated doing more than, well anything. He lifted a desk and walked over to the wall, placing it own and looking around for more to move. Anything to distract him.

When he was finished with all the desk and chairs he could find, being extra careful not to stick himself on the sticky ones he looked around, looking for perhaps a first year to partner up with. We firsties have to stick together he figured as he rubbed his shoulder. The last thing he needed right now was more points taken off or worse detention.

Cela began to levitate the furniture, one gloved hand twisting in her hair as she thought. Shooting a little glance at Kayla, Celandine decided NOT to ask the Hufflepuff prefect to be her partner. She'd worry about partners after the furniture had all been moved. It had to be someone that wouldn't freak out if she accidentally shocked them.

"Who is this Alice person?" asked Barry "And what did head professer say?" he asked again about Vindcus . Hearing professer to tell them to partner up, he decided he was going to pick a stranger, he saw a girl, a fith year, only a bit older and so he asked "Partner?"

"I didn't ask you how many desks you moved," Ian snapped at the kid who obviously had no respect. "I am telling you to help finish moving the desks and chairs." Ian was reaching his boiling point, and he would not deal with insolence at this time.

"That will be ten points from Hufflepuff for your cheek." And....what in the world was this kid doing? "Where are you taking my desks?!" he shouted as the boy left the lesson.

Ian expected him to return to take more desks to...who knew where, but he didn't. So, he announced to the class, "That's another ten points from Hufflepuff for your housemate who left my lesson early. Now then, you're almost finished with the tables and chairs. Keep on at it."



Ian hated being this way, but the students just didn't seem to be cooperating today. Uggg.

Bunbury beamed at William and Cale as they took seats beside her. She quickly unwrapped the yummy chocolate frog and broke off a piece, munching thoughtfully as Anna rambled on about that book and Lyra seemed lost too. Lost was the key word here....although....hmm..... Annie pondered this all as she finished her frog.

"I dunno who Alice is," she piped up toward the Hufflepuffs, "and no, I dun wanna see your book." The redhead giggled at the Gyffindor Prefect's ludicrous theories, for really, that's all they were. "I don't even LIKE mirrors she stated loudly, jumping off the desk then, suddenly becoming much sterner. "And Professor Ashby is right."

Bunbury flicked her sticky hair over her shoulder as best as she could, wincing slightly. She tried smoothing out her skirt and frowned, realizing that glue really was stickyyyyy. Oh how she suffered for her art.

"Anytime, Mr. Ashby," the younger professor replied to the Charms man. "I actually enjoyed myself too, but shhh, keep that on the DL." She smirked and then dusted her hands off. "I know, I know, children these days. Pfffft. Some just don't know how to have fun - or how to play along." She winked at Ashby and then moved to the door.

"Be good, kids," she said lightly, waving bye-bye to Cale Newell in particular. "Perhaps I won't go to the library after all...books are rather boring....ta ta, Ashby!" And with that, the redhead skipped out of the room much in the same fashion she had entered.

EEP!

"Sorry, girls. We'll have to chat later. Losing points and gaining detention simply isn't on my To-Do list today. Catch me in the corridors after class, though," Anna said, placing her hands on a nearby desk and making way to move it out of the classroom. She'd been chatting to Bunbury and Company and actually had no clue why they needed to be moved, but move them she would... Alice and her looking glass would just have to wait until later.

He spotted a few more desk and some scattered chairs and went over to move them, hoping to keep at Ashby's good side. "Sir, would you like me to go get the desks and bring them back?" He asked, raising his hand as he moved another chair. He secretly wondered what in the world Jack was doing, and had a sudden urge to sick Larry on him again. lacing the chair next to the desk he went over and walked around, the thought of the mouse in that boy's hair making him grin a bit.

He turned and sent a good bye wave to professor Bunbury before looking around once more, wondering if he should just go and get the stuff himself.

Ian turned to the boy who offered to go get the desks. "Yeah...sure...as long as you come back," he warned.

Boy, was Ian tired. Being mean and angry exhausted him!

Ludo got moving as Professor Ashby exploded. He pulled out his wand and began casting minor banishing charms to scoot a few desks across the floor.

His ears picked up the Charms Professor's deduction of points from Hufflepuff. Could it be that the Huffies were behaving so negatively due to the loss of their hosemate?
Ludo looked up as Professor Bunbury made a rather dramatic exit. And he couldn't help but think, "Acting my glue-coated backside..."

He picked his things up off the floor since there was no longer a desk to shelter them and placed them over on the window sill.

Mariel was quickly snapped out of her reverie by the sound of a very loud, bellowing voice. Snapping her head to look in the direction of the sound, she blinked once as she saw it was Ashby yelling for students to move furniture. Merlin, was she in a daze today. The antics of Bunbury and Ashby wasn't even fazing her as all the professors were acting odd nowadays.

Shrugging to herself, she resolved to stay alert in class. So far Ravenclaw hadn't lost any points in Charms today, as far as she remembered, and she wasn't about to be the first. Putting her hands on the desk she had once been sitting at, she began to push it towards the wall, wondering what was coming next and glancing around for an unpaired partner.

Oh this is just perfect! What does Jack think he is doing losing more points for Hufflepuff.Will he ever be able to control himself?
Sarah looked for any more stuff that needed moving and saw a table sticking out from the side.She went over to it and gave it a shove so it was flat against the wall.
One final glance showed that there was nothing else needed doing...except to find a partner.
Yep this was going to be hard....
Until she spotted Mariel.She hurried over to her friend and tapped her on the shoulder.
"Hey,wanna be partners?"

"I will sir, I promise, I don't want to miss the next part." He said with a hint of enthusiasm nodding, his head bobbing up and down a few times before he turned and headed for the door, hoping to spot that mouse-hater.

Walking into the corridor he headed for the first desk he could see, shaking his head and picking it up easily. He didn't even see Jack as he walked back into the room, desk in hand. Just how many did he bring in there he wondered briefly as he set the desk down by his own little pile before turning and walking back, picking up the chair that belonged to it and ignoring the boy as he walked back.

He knew he'd be called teachers pet soon but he didn't care.

With one final shove, the desk that she had been pushing was flush with the wall, As her green eyes swept the room once more in search of any obvious unmatched person, Mariel felt a tap on her shoulder. Spinning around, she looked slightly surprised to see Sarah standing in front of her. The Ravenclaw's head was certainly in the clouds today as she didn't even realize that her Hufflepuff friend had been present in class. Flashing her a grin, she said, "Sure! We can be partners..." Then added in a low voice for only her friend to hear, "I wonder what we'll be doing..." Were they still going to practice the un-sticking charm, or something more bizarre? At this point, nothing would surprise her.

Rian finished shoving her desk to where all the other ones were. With her bag now on her shoulder and everything in it, she looked around the classroom. She needed a partner, but she wasn't sure who else did. She stood near the wall quietly, not wanting to be in the middle of things.

Sarah shrugged at her friends question. "I'm not sure," she whispered back. "But I hope it's not too bad.He doesn't appear to be in a good mood at the moment so I really hate to think."
She motioned at Mariel to follow her,and she went back to her position by the wall.Leaning against it she scanned the room,taking in all that was happening.
Another student was bringing in tables from the corridor,Ashby was not looking very happy,and other's were looking for partners.
Nudging Mariel,Sarah dropped her voice again. "I think we should stay here,quietly,and await further instructions.Hufflepuff have already lost 20 points thanks to Jack freaking Mosier,I don't want to lose anymore."

William quickly finished moving the rest of the desks and chairs from the corridor back into the room, his brow spotted with sweat. It was hard work and since he didn't know the spell to make things easier he had to do it the Muggle way. He didn't mind though, but now that he was finished he looked to professor Ashby and smiled, "All finished professor." he said before looking around.

He spotted a fellow Ravenclaw and walked up to her. "Wanna be partners?" He asked sheepishly, glancing down to make sure his bag was still where he left it.

Jake flinched at the sound of the professor's shouting. Like, jump backwards kind of flinched. His heart going at about 100mph, Jake looked warily at the man biting his lip. This guy was scary, and Jake didn't like it. He knew it was everyone's fault, really, his own as well for not moving the desks... but still... All Jake knew was that Professor Ashby now scared him... a lot, and he wished he had the bravery to run, but he didn't.

Trying to be as quiet as possible, Jake helped move the furniture out of the way, all the while trying to look for someone to partner with.

Someone pleeeeease... before he thinks I'm not working and tries to EAT ME!!!!!

Cue lower lip trembling.

Copernicus moved the desks near him out of the way before going back to grabs the chairs. Partners again? He sighed and turned to see who wasn't paired up yet.

Rian looked up when she heard someone speaking close to her. Well, speaking to her, actually. She knew he was a Ravenclaw, she'd seen him in the common room before. "Sure," she said cheerfully. "I'm Rian," she added, offering her right hand for the boy to shake.

She set her bag on the floor, being careful to set it on one side. Squishing the pygmy puff that was nestled quietly in a pillowcase (which was in Rian's bag) would not be a good thing.

Kayla levitated another couple of desks to the side of the room and walked over to Jake. "Do you need a partner?" She took in the trembling lip and couldn't resist even after her last encounter with a first year and charms. She reached up and patted her hair, it would never be the same again.
