Charms Lesson 2
 

Lalala it's time for Charms! Weeeee! Aren't you excited? You should be. Ashby is.

Take a seat; the lesson should begin shortly. Oh, and do watch out for those seats that are coated in glue. ;)




OOC: Go ahead and post. I decided to open the lesson a little early. :) Just please keep the chatter to a minimum.

Daniel entered the Charms classroom with renewed spirit. Although he was very vigilant this days, with a killer on the loose, he was still happy and excited at the same time. This is one of his favorite subjects.

He found the spot nearest the Professor's table and waited. He looked at a seat and decided not to take it because it was sticky for some reason he don't know. He went to another chair and held it's sitting part to check if it has some sticky substance in it.

He was a bit early he presumed because there are still few students. He smiled at the Professor and commented a bit, "Good day, Professor. I am looking forward to this very special lesson of yours." he smiled and seated a moment.

Sakura walked into the charms classroom and quickly found a seat not coated in glue. She put her bag on the table before sitting down and pulling out the things she thought she may need for the lesson as well as a romantic novel.

Smiling at the Professor she said, "Hi Professor, do you mind if I read until the lesson begins?" Deciding that he wouldn't Sakura flipped the book open to the marked page and began to read, making sure to pay at least half of her attention to what was going on around her.

It was early.. well for Nathaniel at least. He was so not a morning person. This time he was actually a little early for class. Hmm. He walked into the classroom. Looking around he chose a seat in the middle of the classroom. He set his backpack down by his table and sat down.

Kayla entered the charms classroom, fairly excited about the lesson. She had scored good points for her homework and so she should. She'd had her hair set on fire by the first year Varius and she immediately scanned the room for him. She certainly didn't want a repeat performance but she liked Varius and if they had to pair up well she was happy to help him out.

"Good day Professor Ashby" she called as she passed his desk and found herself an empty seat and plopping herself down into it.

Jack slid into the charms room and glanced around, not paying attention, he sat on a seat, then, he saw Sak "Hey Sak!" he smiled and went to stand up "Er.." he frowned "Why is my chair moving with me?" Jack asked the room at large as he sat back down, making sure the chair was level.

Herminny walked into the charms classroom with a somber look on her face wondering why the Charms teacher would be excited after the death of a student mere days ago, come to think of it so many teachers seemed off their rocker lately, something is deffinitely up, but mabe this professor is only trying to cheer us all up Herminny thought.

Nonetheless Herminny took a seat careful to look first so she would not sit in a chair with glue on it.

Sakura looked up from her book and smiled slightly at Jack before laughing when he stood up. "Jack some of the chairs have glue on them. Hence the, "watch out for the chairs with glue on them" notice." Sakura got out between her laughter. Calming down slightly she winked at him.

Ray made his way to the charm class and chose the seat the closest to the teacher's desk but he soon realised it was filled with glue. He looked around and found a better one. "Hello Professor what is the deal with the glued seats?" Ray asked.

Jack stared at Sak "It's not funny" he told her "I was occupied" he mumbled embarrassedly

"Yes it is." Sakura said, while gathering up her things and standing up. Walking over to Jack she was relieved to find the seat next to him was glue free and so she sat down on it, placing her things on the desk. "Occupied huh? With what?" She asked in an innocent voice. She was trying to keep from laughing though.

Students were piling into the classroom, but Daniel does not think the class would start abruptly, due to the fact that it's still too early.

So, he decided to grab a book, which was sent to him by a family friend about Charms that are commonly used against Dark Arts. The cover was torn and the book looks old so he doesn't know the name of the writer or the title itself. He read it and waited for the room to fill up.

Jack scowled at her "Not" he watched her sit down "I was thinking, and stop laughing!!" he whined st her

"It is. And I'm not laughing." She told him, before turning back to her book and reading it again. It was her favourite romance novel. She didn't know why but it was. Perhaps because it was an historical romance and was set in Japan... "Oh and don't scowl at me."

Shana walked into the Classroom.Mornin' Professor.She smiled at the professor and looked around the classroom fo someone to sit next to.She wandered over to Miles.Hey Miles! She smiled at him and got her textbook from out her bag.

Jake wondered in the class absent-mindedly, and moved over to the side of the classroom to the seat he'd sat in last time. As he moved around to sit, he noticed the chair was unevenly shiny. "Bloody-" he muttered, moving around the chairs for one that didn't look coated in... stuff. When he got one, he lay some parchment on it, just in case in was hidden. He wasn't in the mood for this right now, and he hoped people weren't about to start chatting to make his mood that much worse.

Dumping his bag on the table, Jake waited for people to arrive and the lesson to start.

Shana looked up from her textbook and watchedthe people walking in the room.She noticed Jake enter,she hadn't seen him for ages.She wrinkledher nose and smiled.Hey Jake!

Cedric was already on charms classroom before his other classmates arrive,It is a very nice day for him because his favorite subject will begin shortly

Jake heard his name being called, so he looked around for a second, furrowing his brow. Shana was there, talking to him, but Jake didn't really register it. He just turned back to the front and thought about the mountain of homework he still needed to do. Dude... I hate school.

Jack raised an eyebrow "Really?" he asked sarcastically "Okaaaay" Jack sighed "Now, can someone get this damn chair off me?" he asked "Like NOW!?" he raised his voice and put emphasis on the last word.

Wand in one hand and textbook in the other, Anna entered the Charms classroom, excited about another lesson with Professor Ashby. Having just finished reading the Quidditch magazine the professor allowed her to borrow, Anna headed to Professor Ashby's desk, laid the magazine neatly on top of it, and attached a little note to it.

Anna turned to survey the classroom, looking for a place she thought would be nice to sit. Remembering the excitement of the last lesson, Anna headed to the front row. Glue...glue...glue... Anna blinked, wondering why seat after seat was covered in icky glue. Shrugging, she took a glue-free seat on the second row, opened her textbook, and read quietly while she waited for the lesson to begin.

Remus entered and went to take a seat in the front of the room. If he had learned one thing over his years at Hogwarts, it was that he paid better attention to lessons if he sat close to the front of the room. Noticing the glue on the chair he took out his wand and commanded, "Scougify". The glue vanished as soon as he completed the flick of his wand. For once Remy was glad his Dad was such a neat freak. It was one of the first spells Remy had learned at home and he was quite good with it.

Sneeze walked into the classroom. "Hello, professor! How are you today?" He nodded, and went to a seat where no one was near. Sadly he sat down in a chair covered in a sticky substance and didn't notice until his fingers and the rest of his body were stuck to it. "Blardy!" He smiled, using a word a friend had given him to use instead of cursing, but still mad. He tried to move, but couldn't. He sat there calming down and put his head down on the table. Atleast that wasn't sticky.
