Paris saw the look on Anna's face. She would die laughing if it exploding in her pretty little face. She smirked at the thought.

"Excellent! Now everyone to the air!" Vindictus called out and reached for a Quod. "Remember to pass it to six different people while flying overhead!" He tossed the Quod to Clifford Carden and stood back to watch the antics in the sky.



OOC: Make sure you say the name of the person you're throwing the Quod to in your post (make their name BOLD). Have fun. Let the Quod explode and such - none of us should be perfect playing Quodpot. It's okay to fly into each other, falling off your broom, etc. Points are awarded for participating and creative RPing.

"It's gonna be fooine!" Tobi declared, "there are tonnes of great flyers here, Anna, Clifford, Professor V, we'll have a blast! Oh, maybe that's a bad word for it..." He shrugged and kicked off into the air.

Oh noes. He was first!? He had ten seconds to get rid of this thing or it'd blow his head off! Kicking off into the air, Clifford scanned the sky before tossing it in the direction of Tobi. Oh yes, he'd survived!

Paris jumped on her broom and took the skies. She saw Professor Vindictus toss the Quod to Clifford. She was excited to get going. "Come on Clifford," she said waving her arms.

Juniper turned her head to look at Clifford as he asked his question. It was a good question, but Juniper was far more worried about what would happen if a bird flew by when the Quod exploded. Would the bird be hurt then? Or if a beetle got caught in the explosion--the beetle would be barbequed, if Juniper's hypothesis was correct. Sure, it was all in favor of the game, but the fourth year would be sure to keep an eye out for birds and bugs nonetheless. She did not want to see any fried animals. Inhaling, Juniper pulled a smile to her face and kicked off the ground, paying only enough attention to the people around her that she would not fly into anybody.

Copernicus took off hesitantly into the air, staying low for the time being. He gestured at Plymouth to join him. They could work as a team.

Herminny hesitantly mounted her broom, kicked off, and took to the air with ease hoping her lack of experience would not hurt her, I know how to fly a broom in theory now lets put it to practice Herminny thought. She really wanted to play and hoped someone would throw her the quod, wait, why do I want that.

Plymouth "kicked off" the ground -- but if he stretched his toes out he could touch the ground. There was no way he'd be coordinated enough to catch the ball and hold onto his broom -- so this was safe. Nice and safe.


He tuttered around near the ground, wondering how the puffapods were doing. "Will you hold my hand, Copernicus?" Plymouth asked as he "flew/tiptoed" over to him.

Eleanor kicked off into the air right after Vindictus words. Her brown eyes fallowed the Quod being thrown from Vindictus to Clifford and from Clifford to..er.. some other boy she didn’t know the name.
She just hoped she was still in a great shape to fly.
Darn chocolate cookies.

Uh oh, uh oh! Incoming!

Tobi scooped the ball out of the air, narrowly veering around Kettleburn, he didn't need a collision right then.

"Oi, Mouth-off!" Tobi called, tossing the ball to Plymouth as he was the closest to him.

Herminny looked around and saw Tobi had the quod now and wondered who he would throw it to and would they be the first victim of the game.

Oh, it looks like Plymoth, this can;t be good, she thought

She really thought that the Quod was going to explode in Tobi's face. "Hey no holding hands." She shouted at Plymouth as she saw the quod sailing in his directions.

Oh, lovely! Tobi just had to throw it to Plymouth Morgan! Now they were all doomed. Thinking fast, Anna flew in the opposite direction, getting away from Plymouth to avoid the inevitable BOOM. He was her friend, but he just didn't seem like the type to get the ball out of his hands and to the next person in time. Maybe he'd surprise her, though...

Plymouth was so unprepared for the quod. It was so unfortunate. As it fell through the air, seemingly aimed right for his face: Plymouth shrieked like a banshee. Maybe the others would mistake it for a battle cry, but it was much closer to a little girl squeal. Plymouth put his feet on the ground (he was a failure) and then used his shirt to catch it.

Then, he used his shirt as a sort of parachute to launch it to Copernicus -- because Copernicus was close and Plymouth was using his shirt to throw. He was a clearly on track to be a professor Quodpot player.

He resumed "toe-skimming-type flying."

Phew. He was glad to get that off his hands. Clifford watched as Tobi caught the quod and had to swerve Anna who seemed to be flying away. HAH! What a scaredy cat. Weren't Gryffindor's meant to be BRAVE!? Smirking, the Prefect hovered and watched.

Herminny burst out laughing as she saw the quod take it's first victim, or victims, this was gonna be a fun game, she just knew it.

Even thought she had a smile on her face, Eleanor was waiting impatiently, her brown eyes moving from student to student, fallowing the quod's trajectory.
But then a Gryffindor girl caught her attention. Ellie blinked once at the girl. Greingoth was flying away from the Quol?
How .. Gryffindor of her.

Paris watched at Anna took off like a bat out of, well you get the picture. What was that all about, she thought.

She rolled her eyes at the boy. "Are you serious!" She shouted at him. This had to be some sort of joke to be flying like that. "Come on and be a man and fly!" She shouted again at him. He was flying like a little baby for merlin's sake.

Tobi was, almost disappointed that Mouth-off hadn't gone BOOM, oh well, there's time yet. He flew off to join Anna.

"Having fun yet?" he asked, as he passed her.

Copernicus caught the quod and gulped audibly. Oh WHY would anyone throw the ball to PLYMOUTH? And to HIM? Oh Merlin, everyone was mad. He leaned forward on the broom and looked for someone (anyone) to toss the quod to. QUICK QUICK ANYONE!

He spotted the girl who had just been giving Plymouth a hard time, and he flung the ball hard at Paris.

"He will if you will," Tobi teased, passing.

Juniper had not actually seen the Quod flying at Plymouth. But she managed to catch a glimpse of him hurling the ball toward Copernicus with his shirt, and the fourth year could not prevent her ears from turning rather red. Maybe Plymouth had never been on a broom before. Or maybe he had a profound fear of heights. But she could not help but breathe a sigh of relief as the Quod was thrown safely to some Slytherin girl. It would have been just awful if it had been a Ravenclaw who got out first.

She wasn't prepared for the Quod to get thrown at he with such force and when she caught it the force sent her flying off the back end of her broom and she just barely got her manicured hand on the tail twigs before she went falling to ground. That little tart! She either had to throw the Quod or let go of her broom or she was going to fall.

She glared over at Tobi as he passed her and taunted her. Perfect! She swung her hand back and tossed it with all her might right at TOBI face. She scampered up on her broom. "I fly like a Slytherin and never forget that." As she flew past him she gave him a hard shove on his broom. "Thats how its done." She told him.

Plymouth squinted up in the sky. "I'm just warming up! Don't want to pull a hammy, alright???" Yes. He was "warming up" - it was the beginning and all. He just had no plans to go any higher. Ever.
