Upon hearing Vindictus' whistle, Willow landed neatly and paid attention to Professor Vindictus' question.

"Slytherin," started the girl, raising her hand. "Slytherin had a Quod explosion, professor."

Becca raised her hand. "The Slytherin girl!" She pointed. "The one who ran into Juniper, right?"

"Slytherin had a quod explosion too, right?" she remember Ellie having an explosion then colliding with poor Juni.

"That's right! Thanks, Willow. And Anna is the one who scored," Vindictus said and was quiet as he did the mental math. "That means 15 points for Ravneclaw and 5 for Slytherin because it takes guts to hold an exploding Quod, and 10 points to Gryffindor for scoring the lone goal." He grinned. "Homework will be posted shortly. Class dismissed!"

But something that Plymouth said made Vindictus snap. "Plymouth. Over here, now boy!"

"Don't worry about it, Kayla. You can take her in the dueling ring." He placed a reassuring arm on her shoulder and squeezed. "Do you know who had Quod explosions? I was just concentrating on NOT falling victim."

They were back to the ground and she did'tn even touch the quod.
Points to everyone except Hufflepuff. why would it be...

Plymouth gave the very good-looking manly Professor fellow the big "UH OH" eyes. Uh oh indeed. "Um... Yes sir. Right now. Grrr...?" Plymouth tried a 'manly growl' but ... he was more afraid by the scary look Vindi-dude was giving him. Plymouth moseyed over to the Professor cautiously. "....sup? Sir."

"Was it Ellie Sir?" Theo asked. Someone had landed on the floor. And he thought it was Ellie. Or Juniper. Maybe both. He was confused now. His little forehead crumpled up a bit.

He had spent too long thinking, that he had missed his chance. Yay for homework though.

Well. At least he got points for his face full of soot. Copernicus wiped his face off with his sleeve and grinned at the girl who had offered her own. "I appreciate the offer. Copernicus Kettleburn," he wrapped his hand in his robe and offered it to her gingerly.

She raised her hand. "Then Ellie Bluebell from Slytherin," She offered. While everyone was trying to figure out who the last person was.

Her jaw dropped when he awarded points to the dunces who didn't know how to catch and release. What the crup is that about. Well at least Slytherin got some points for that.

Kayla turned and faced Tobi, a steely glint in her eyes. "Oh I know I can take her and she'll be limping out of there when I'm finished with her" she gave him a blank look. "I don't bloody know, I'm just glad it wasn't me holding it" she answered.

Ludo grinned as the Professor awarded Ravenclaw House with the most points. They'd need them to combat the neck and neck battle they had with Hufflepuff House for the lead.

He stepped up to the Professor with the school broom on his shoulder. "Here you are Professor Vindictus." Ludo handed him the Stratus model broomstick, smiling.
"Great lesson, Sir."

What Herminny thought as Vindictus awarded the Ravenclaw house 15 points and for having the courage to hold an exploding quod, thats completely random, no one knew when a quod was explode, he was no being fair, he just awarded his house 15 points for loosing, but Herminny was in no mood to argue and was happy Gryffindor got 10 points which she felt shood have been 20 cause they were the only house to score but then Herminny thought, when has Vindictus ever been fair, never, and nothing and nobody could change that Herminny thought.

Rhen she quickly left the pitch before her temper on this situation could rise to a level that could get her into trouble again.

"Think you're a manly-man, Plym-man?" Vindictus sneered haughtily and laughed. It was as if the man was suddenly acting like a 15-year old. "I challenge you to a manly-man competition. Next Wednesday. Great Hall. Ravenclaw Table. You in or are you chicken?"

Sara smiled at the professors announcement and looked the the boy, smiling at him. "At least we got something out of all this soot, right?" she laughed. "Nice too meet you Copernicus, I'm Sara Rios." She took his hand and shook it, grinning back at him.

She landed as Professor Vindictus challenged Plymouth like they were both 10 year olds. This was getting good. She looked between the two of them, man she wanted to get in on this action. She would love to have a go at a professor, well just two. Truebridge and Bunbuns. That would mean Christmas had some early. "Go on Plyman, be a man and step up." She taunted.

The professor had told Plymouth to act like a man when he was screaming in a sort of, kind of feminine way. So, Plym-MAN acted like a man and now the professor wanted to kill him?

This was certainly a test. Plymouth just had to use his wit and charm and he'd be alright. There would probably be hugs at the end of this, perhaps celebratory cookies.

"I um... I accept." Plymouth punctuated this death wish with a very manly display of his beating his chest. "I might be chicken, but I ain't yellow!" YEAH! Plymouth offered the professor a hand shake to seal the deal.

"I'd rather have house points than a bath any day, but we're lucky to have both," he scrubbed at his face before looking up to where Vindictus was challenging his brother to a challenge. Oh no! Not again! He shook his head vigorously at Plymouth, hoping the other boy would decline the challenge. Plymouth was PEACEFUL. Surely, he'd say no.

Vindictus took Plymouth's hand and squeezed it a little. Not too much. And he pumped the Ravenclaw's arm up and down like he was pumping water from an old Muggle waterpump. "Then we're on! No wands. Just pure muscle. See you then, Plym."

He turned back around and looked at the class. "What in Merlin's beard are you staring at? You'd better run before the Flying Professor shows up and wonders why you're hanging out at the Ravenclaw practice!"

"Yeah, although for me a bath is right next to house points." She says shaking the excess soot out of her hair. Lovely, this is going to take forever to wash off. she thought.

She followed Copernicus' line of vision and saw Plymouth accepting the professor's challenge. "What is he doing? Is he crazy?" She asked him.

..... what??? It was hard to think with his arm being pumped up and down like.. that.


Plymouth ... Plymouth was an idiot and he was going to die. He swallowed hard and ran away. It was possible that he'd have to literally run away, Hogwarts School drop-out, to survive. Plymouth tripped and fell on his rush to leave. Sigh. He dusted himself off as he got back up.

Plymouth would have to talk to Bontecou about growing muscles - emergency muscles. He ran the rest of the way to the castle.

She blinked at him when he yelled at them. What in Merlin's frilly pink knickers was he on about now. They had just had a flying lesson. She shook her head as she swung her broom over her shoulder. "Well we were just leaving." She told him and she turned to make her way back up to the castle.

"Yes, he really is," Copernicus agreed. "And now it's time to run away." He gestured for the castle and made a run for it. Heaven help him if Vindictus tried to get him on a broom again.

"Ohhh, I'm so not going to miss this." Sara sees Copernicus running toward the castle and follows after him. She didn't not to be told twice when class was dismissed.
