Becca jogged onto the empty Quidditch Pitch. Ha! First one there. She ran around for a few moments before letting herself fall to the ground, roll, then end up in a sitting position in the grass. She sat with her legs stretched out in front of her and her hands behind her to hold her up. "This is gonna be good," she snickered to herself. "Violent, by the sound of it, but extremely intense. I always knew I liked this Vindictus fellow."

As Anna headed out to the Quidditch pitch, she took a moment to look around and take in all her surroundings. It was April---springtime---, and the overall look and feeling of the atmosphere had her in the best of moods. School would be ending soon, and what would always become known as "the most memorable summer ever" would begin.

Glancing up, Anna noticed several magical, flashing, hot pink arrows leading the way inside the gates. Did Vindictus think they'd get lost or something? Ahhh, well. At least the arrows were pink---no one would deny Vindictus had style. Inside, Anna saw a few rules posted on a large chalk board. "Darn...no grazing or eating bugs? Vindictus was getting tough!" she joked to herself. Shrugging, Anna found herself a seat on the grass and waited for the lesson to begin.

Elizabeth entered the Quidditch pitch, feeling a little strange being in here when she wasn't getting ready for practice, or a match. Of course, there was the match she was going to have to worry about in several days, but right now it was just class. Of course, it sounded like an interesting class, but it was class nonetheless.

As she got near the younger Ravenclaw girl, her head turned as she heard a snicker. "That's one way to look at it," she commented with a smile, taking a seat on the grass a little ways away from her.

Barry aproached the pitch uneasyily, he wasn`t great at flying he had chickened our again at the tryouts. He took a seat and murmured "You can do it, you`ve done it before"

Jack followed the arrows a little scaredly, he hated the last lesson, he frowned and sat on the grass, isolated, away from the danger of other people, he hugged his knees tightly and waited.

Ludo strolled out onto the Pitch. He'd been very intrigued by the notice on the Common Room notice board. Sure, he wasn't the best flyer and was nowhere near Quidditch team material, but he knew how to fly and could play some less serious form of the sport.

He reached the other students and noticed Liz. Sitting down on the grass he spoke,
"Hey Liz." he smiled and looked to the board for instruction, also noting the broomsticks and chalk board. "Any idea what this lesson may hold?" he asked.

Paris skipped down to the pitch. She was excited to be in a flying class and the posters made it seem like they were going to be blowing things up and that was right up her alley. She waved at Anna and Jack and plopped down on the grass.

Reese headed down to the Quidditch Stadium.She grinned slightly when she noticed the pink arrows pointing the the entrance.Geez.Maybe Professor Vindictus put them up there so the little first years would get lost.Hmm.She'll probably never know.Reese entered the Quidditch Stadium and looked at the black board.She read throught the instructions and nodded,she understood. She looked around the pitch and noticed Anna.She smiled and walked over to her and sat down.

Vindictus spent hours trying to decide what to wear and finally settled on his favorite set of robes - charcoal gray and cream with an entwined crimson 'H H' and demonic looking rabbit baring its front teeth emblazoned on the upper left chest. On the back in crimson outlined in black was 'VINDICTUS' and the number 1. Both stood out on the charcoal gray.

His goggles were on and he flew into the stadium. "WOO HOO!" His shout of glee was more like a warning as he barrelled towards the students sitting on the grass.....

Ludo turned in surprise as the Professor arrived. He'd shouted and settled in the grass right next to him. There was something different with him.

A smile spread across his face as he took note of the rabbit on the Professor's robes. "Good afternoon Professor Vindictus..." he said, keeping his smile.

Tobi waited patiently, okay not patiently but silently next to Anna for Professor V to describe what they would be doing, he held his beloved Silver Arrow tightly, almost lovingly. He hoped it wouldn't get hurt in any of the advertised BOOMs.

OH MERLIN. This professor was just as frightening as the rest, and Copernicus cowered against the grass. This was just confirming his opinion that everyone at this school was batty. Hopefully, he wouldn't be asked to fight someone or defend some stupid decision to the point of exhaustion.

Barry stared with supprise as the professer arrived, barley missing him. How he became out head I have no idea he thought. But he was different, which was good

No eating the bugs!? That was the harshest rule. Hmpf. What was wrong with eating bugs? Had noone heard of the thing called the food chain? Clifford pouted sadly as he shuffled his feet on the neat grass. Hopefully Professor Vindictus - who was acting kinda crazy - had brought them some marshmallows.

Elizabeth looked over as Ludo sat by her. "Hey," she said with a smile. "Nope. No idea. Other than that it's gonna have to deal with games involving brooms and, most likely, explosions," she answered his question. Granted, all that was just from the title of the lesson, but he asked. So she answered.

Then Professor Vindictus made his entrance, seeming quite energetic as he barrelled through the stadium, shouting. Elizabeth spent a moment wondering if he was wearing one of his uniforms from when he played Quidditch, but then found herself having to dive to the side to avoid being hit. Of course, Ludo happened to be on that side of her, so she ended up slamming into him on her way to the ground.

"Tee hee hee," giggled Vindictus as he narrowly avoided knocking down the non-Ravenclaws who had arrived at the lesson. He swooped upwards and did a handstand on his broom, and then did some fancy barrel rolls before landing.

"Welcome to today's lesson!" he practically shouted and pointed to his robes. "And what team do I play for?"

Jack giggled nervously and moved further away from the students, he didn't want any contact at all

Jack watched nervously as the professor bowled himself into the rest of the students, he shuffled back even further, wanting to be alone, but also wanting to win points, he started with 0, he could at least finish with 0.

Paris looked up as a blur of gray robes streaked towards them. The broom rider didn't look as if they were going to stop and Paris dove behind Anna for cover. She peeked up and saw that it was Professor Vindictus. "Is he bloody crazy?" She asked.

She raised her hand. "The Heidleberg Harries," She said answering his question.

Becca raised her hand lazily. "That's easy. The Heidleberg Harries." Duh.

Tobi raised his hand, he was a big fan, but he was bad with names, "Sir, weren't you with the Heidelberg Harriers? In Germany?"

Oh Professor V was SO COOL!!! Tobi squirmed excitedly.

"Parker, is it? Right you are, young lady! Two spectacular points for Ravenclaw," Vindictus beamed and looked at the others. "And what position do I play?"

Tobi raised his hand again, he tried to remember. "Beater sir?"

A grin spread across Becca's face. "Beater. And the best in the league, sir!" Hah. What a little suck up.

Anna closed her lips tightly together to avoid laughing out loud at Vindictus nearly bowling several of his Ravenclaws to the ground. "Whoa...his skills on a broom are amazing, though," Anna thought to herself, watching as he performed several tricks. If she ever tried that, she'd be confined the hospital wing for the entire remainder of her Hogwarts career. Thanks, but no thanks. Watching was just fine for the time-being.

Anna raised her hand to answer Vindictus' question, but jerked it right back down as Paris Greenwood dove behind her to avoid Vindictus and his crazy little tricks. Anna turned around and smiled at the girl, who was answering the question Anna had just been attempting to answer herself. Raising her hand once again, Anna said, "The Heidleberg Harries." Hadn't that little fact appeared in The Quill recently?
