At the top of the steep steps, high in Ravenclaw Tower your dormitory awaits you. The circular room is lined with beds and trunks, a few owls flutter about the space and several cats chase dustballs on the wooden floor. Books and homework cast throughout the room show just how studious the members of Ravenclaw are. Pull back the sheets and close the curtains because another day of learning lies ahead!

Remember, no girls allowed!

Copernicus sighed. "Yeah, that's cool, mate," he tried to look enthusiastic. He even nodded and offered a sort of fist bump. But he felt like the skin on his face was too tight and his smile was too bright and what had he said? Did he say all the right things? "It's cool. Congrats."

Copernicus wasn't exactly jumping up and down - but Plymouth took the fist bump, taking a hit with each of his fists. He completed the acts of fist bumping with sound effects, "Ker POW POW!"

"So, that's what happened. First kiss. First girlfriend. Maybe this Hogwarts thing - maybe your dad knew a little something something," Plymouth nudged Copernicus with his elbow.

"My dad is a genius," Cope agreed in a dull voice. "I bet he's really proud of you, too. And your mum. You're adjusting to being here and doing well at classes and have a girlfriend and all. Living the dream, mate."

"Why would I want to get rid of you?" Copernicus rolled on his side. "We're mates, Plym. I haven't seen much of you lately, but you're probably the person I know best here. The only male friend I have, except the Garret chap I only have spent time with about twice."

Plymouth shrugged and spread his little leash out on his lap. Copernicus had SAID he was tired, so Plymouth was letting him SLEEP. He got the bag out of other stuff he'd gotten Cela, including the cactus and toe socks and laid those out next to it.

Ugh.

"You're MAD with me?" Copernicus scooted out of bed and headed over to Plymouth's. "Man, that's not right." He looked over the items on the bed. "Nice socks."

"I'm doing what you want, you moody girl. You keep leaving where ever I am, and when I'm around, you're suddenly tired. I get it. Point taken. I'm pouting now, on my own bed, quietly." Plymouth hugged the socks. They were nice. Had rainbows on them. And they were homemade.

"No," Copernicus sighed and sat on the edge of the bed. It was funny... Plymouth was so goofy that Copernicus ended up treating him like a hyper toddler with no social sensitivity. And that was missing out on a huge chunk of Plymouth's personality. "I'm just having a hard time dealing with you and Celandine being all gushy mushy together. I..." Hmm. Crap. Too much honesty.

"Oh, Cel is... really nice," Copernicus was kind of wandering his way through a mental maze. How to explain it so Plymouth would understand but not really understand at all. "I just think... she's very young for that sort of thing. She's only 13, right? And so little. You might break her heart."

"Well gah. Someone else said that TOO. How old does everyone think I am, exactly?" Plymouth frowned and frowned and frowned some more. "I'd rather eat that cactus than hurt her. I don't know." But this didn't make sense! "You're sick of me because Cela is too young though?"
