Mariel's eyes were averted from the poltergeist as she noticed movement out the corner of her eye. A cauldron flying through the air that connected with the back of Lasca's head as she ran towards the Headmaster.

"Lasca!" Mariel shrieked as she witnessed her friend crumple to the ground. She started to make her way over to her only to watch several other students get there first. Watching from a slight distance, she realized there was something very wrong with her - a concussion most likely - as she giggled incessantly and started uttering nonesense about stars and wings.

Her eyes filled with tears as she watched the exchange between the students and the groundskeeper. She felt terrible for having been annoyed with her friends moments ago, and now one had been injured. She felt she had enough of this class with a choas-driven poltergeist running rampant especially with one of her friends being hurt. And now these people were talking about taking Lasca to the hospital wing, but not actually doing anything. She needed medical attention now.

Mariel felt it was time to make a decision. Making her way over to Lasca's spot on the floor. She put her friends arm around her shoulder to help her stand. "Come on, Lasca," she told her in a soft voice. "We need to go to the Hospital Wing. Can you walk?" Hopefully she could just take her there herself. If not she was certain one of the adults could conjure one of those floating stretcher things.

Miranda squeeled and dropped to the floor, arms thrown over her head. Her robes were soaked. Scurrying over to the corner, she stayed against the wall as Peeves continued to wreck havoc, some people started singing, and a girl hit her head. At least her potion hadn't exploded.

She looked back at her work station, seeing the broken vials of completed potion next to her now completely empty cauldron.

She was very torn between laughing and crying.

She inched back towards her workstation, and starting cleaning it all up.

Jack watched the going ons, hmm, maybe Peeves needed someone as loud as him "Peeves!" Jack shouted loudly "I wouldn't hide behind someone who has the antidote" Jack called shouted "He may just duck!" Jack laughed "Come and hide here!" Jack shouted to Peeves so the headmaster would be safe. From everyone!

Sarah looked up from her sobbing to hear the Professor say it was harmless..but she would need a shower.Oh great..fan-freaking-tastic! I will be in there hours getting this damn smell off.
Grabbing the vials she had managed to fill,Sarah stuffed them inside her robes to protect them.Turning at the sound of the door,she saw the groundkeeper enter the room and talk to Professor Bontecue.Before she could call and warn them,though,Peeves had showered the groundskeeper in potion...and then rather oddly..the man started singing.
"This has to be the strangest class I have ever been in..." she muttered under her breath as teacher and students broke into songs from musicals.Grease Lightning in the middle of Potions?...WOW.

Shying away as Peeves again did a swoop of the room,she gasped in horror at the sight of first year... Is that Lina from Arithmancy?....prepared to chuck her cauldron at Peeves,but Lasca got in the way.
With a loud clunk it hit her in the back of the head and she slumped to the floor.Sarah shot up from her seat and was going to go over to her but others got there first,including the groundskeeper.
"Oh please let her be alright,it was a hell of a thud..." Sarah prayed.
Seeing Mariel run over and start to pick Lasca up spurred Sarah into action too.Racing over herself,she put Lasca's other arm around her shoulder so she was balanced between her two friends.
"Come on Mariel," she said, "lets get her to the Hospital Wing....Ummm if that's OK wth you Professor Bontecue?" she asked,glancing back in his direction.

Damian had enough with the Chaos in the classroom. He lifted Lasca up on his arms and quit the room.

"Let's go to the Hospital Wing!" said he seriously.

Ruby just sat there and watched as all the chaos unfolded she was amazed by what had happened she looked at Jack shouting and wondered if he was alright?

Melanie almost laughed out loud at the kid's reaction to her growl. In fact she did. "Sorry.." she said to him, looking over her shoulder. He was looking at her like she had just turned into Hulk and then he was reading the potions text book. How can you read a textbook amongst all this chaos, she had no clue, although a nice fairytale may do the trick....

....Seriously!?! What the heck was wrong with this kid? Peeves was trying to ruin everyone's potions, throwing things across the classroom and yelling at the top of his lungs but nooo this kid was offering the poltergeist a place to hide. Melanie rolled her eyes. "Hide! Why would you want him to hide?!? He'd just as soon tip your cauldron over as everyone elses!" she shouted crossly. Melanie did not see where he was going with this. Temper Temper Temper.... I really gotta stop that....

Sarah stood there stunned as a first year Ravvie grabbed Lasca and left the room with her.Could he do that without asking...?
"Well excuse me!!"..was all she could shout after him as the door closed.He could see Mariel and I had hold of her,no need to do that.

Jack turned to the girl and stuck his tongue out "Every Poltergeist needs a friend, or a hiding place, as it goes this time" Jack turned back to Peeves, Jack had a temper, he wasn't going to let it lose, not yet.

Jake looked up. "As kind as that gesture is, and I don't know if he'll take it, but do you really think he'll have a first year friend?"

Jake set the book down for a second and re-cleaned his workstation. He was worried about the girl and all too, but he was sure that the boy wasn't supposed to just drag her out of the class right in front of the professor, without awaiting instructions.

"Maybe we should calm down, and stop shouting," Jake suggested, more to himself and anyone around him who heard his soft voice. "The more we shout, the louder we have to be to be heard... and it echoes like the Dickens in here," Jake rubbed his ears, before he picked up his book and carried on reading, intent on staying out of the mess for now.

Spence had just been watching when she saw Ruby and Jack. Well she more heard Jack yell at Peeves. More like help. Jack, what the heck are you doing? she yelled at him.

Jack loved this, him against the world "I am helping Peeves, what does it look like?" Jack yelled back louder than her.

Melanie was about to retaliate and not kindly, but Jake said what was on her mind so she just pointed at him carelessly. "Yeah, with him." she said calmly. But then mister Peeve's #1 fan decided to act all rude to Spence, that really fired her up. "Why don't you go knock over a few cauldrons then and throw them around the room?" she asked sarcastically. "I'm sure he'd really appreciate that. You guys could be best buds!" Melanie clenched her fists, trying to hold her anger in.

Jack looked at her "Fine" He grabbed a cauldron and turned it over "Enough or do you want more?" Jack asked sarcastically as he ran around the room in a circle knocking the cauldrons over and flinging one cauldron in the air "Done." Jack laughed at her, he hadn't let his anger come out yet, no, he was having fun "Peeves... you want to be my best bud?" he yelled over with a snort

Jake looked up and glared at Jack. All those points he'd earned, now surely for nothing. Snarling, he addressed the girl who had agreed with him.

"Ignore him," Jake looked back down at his book. "He just wants the attention."

And if he loses us any points, I will get Lolcat and his band of merry men kitties... and they'll get him...

Ruby was now thinking of Sakura she looked at Jack and said as loudly as she could "Jack why don't you calm down and shut up?"

This is madness! she thought. The proffesor had almost been hited by something, now a student wants to be peeves' friend not to mention what could happen with the potions...

Jack spun on his heel "Say that to my face" he snarled.

Ruby rose from her seat slowly and walked over to Jack and calmly said "why don't you think of other people for a change like Sakura, John and the people in this classroom Jack calm down and shut up?"

Sarah let out a loud sigh and turned in the direction of the noise.
"Why can't we all just clam down? One ghost causing trouble is enough..we don't need a living being doing it to!"
She had had enough.She was covered in goo,cold and tired.Now this boy wanted to make more noise and distruption.
And he's a Huffie too,just what we need..more points lost.

Jack looked Ruby straight in the eyes, the glare that came from his face would have scared anyone, his back was to Peeves I'm helping the professor he mouthed "No I wont" he snarled with a small smile

Ruby smiled an evil smile "fine don't calm down Jack but at least i won't be up againt a lot of angry Hufflepuffs because of it if you loose points" she said calmly and returned to her seat

Jack laughed in her face "I can handle myself"

Uh oh... Flying cauldron! Well, Headmaster Bontecou hadn't been an auror for nothing. As the cauldron, with it's contents splashing out, came right for his head, he ducked and pulled out his wand, transfiguring the cauldron into a bird and it's contents changing to said bird's bowel movement contents. So, instead of being splashed with the potion those unfortunate enough to be in the bird's wake as it flew out the door were spattered with bird poo... including the headmaster. "Well, that was rather bracing," he chuckled and then looked about the room.
He wasn't clear on what was happening, what with all the commotion with the cauldron flying at his head and whatnot. "Sure, take her to the hospital wing.

"And while we're at it, you've seen the effects of the singing suspension. For homework just go ahead and write me a short essay on what you've learned about potion safety in class. Class dismissed!"

There, now maybe Peeves wou'd leave them alone.

Jack grinned "Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" he ran out of the room when class was dismissed
