"H. Harmful ingredients. Take the utmost care when dealing with harmful ingredients."Sakura said while raising her hand. |
Cadence raised her hand again while nudging John to participate. I... Ignite the flame under your cauldron carefully and precisely. |
Jake raised his hand. "J - Joking around potions is a big no, especially practical jokes with them." |
"K. Knives. Keep an eye on where your knife is when cutting, slicing or crushing an ingredient as you don't want to get hurt." Sakura said hand raised. |
Ruby raised her hand "L is for Lie all your equiptment out before you begin" |
Jake thrust his hand into the air again. "K - Know what you are dealing with... if you don't, then consequences could be disastrous." |
"Light... light the fire in the safest manner possible, otherwise you'll get burned," he added. |
Manage. Manage your ware carefully and professionally. Spence said after rasing her hand. |
Cadence raised her hand yet again N... No fireworks, even the wet start ones, near the cauldrons or fires. |
"Ouch," he stated, "Ouch is the noise you will make if you don't follow instructions properly and end up hurting yourself." |
"P. Prepared. Be prepared to work hard in class." Sakura said while raising her hand |
"O - Open ingrediants with care, making sure not to spill any." Sarah put her hand back down after speaking. How much longer will they have to go? Finding things to say was becoming harder. |
Miranda raised her hand again, "P...Poison. Make sure you know if what you're brewing is poisonus so you don't try it!" |
Do you want us to start again, sir? Spence asked the Professor after raising her hand. |
Damian who was sitting in the last row, listened to the others. |
"Great job, guys! We finished the whole alphabet," he grinned. "Those were great... some were creative and stretching it, but great! "Now... Let's get get to something fun. We're going to brew up a little something so get your cauldrons out and stretch your legs. We'll start in a couple minutes." |
Cadence reorganized all of her things and sat on the edge her seat, watching the professor intently, determined to pay attention to every word he said. |
Jack moved next to Sakura "Hey sweetness" Jack smiled |
Sam fixed her things in front of her, ready to do whatever Professor Bontecou had planned. She straightened herself up and tucked some hair behind her ear as she sat patiently. |
Huh,they done good. Satisfied that she hadn't made a complete idiot of herself,Sarah bent down to pick her cauldron up from under the table where she stored it on entering the room. She then rolled up her sleeves ready to start when the Professor told them to. |
Damian prepared his cauldron and waited for other instructions. |
Miranda hoisted her cauldron up from under the desk and stood, stretching. Sitting back down, she tugged on one pigtail absently, looking around the room at the other students, while waiting for the Professor to continue. |
Something fun. Yes, Potions was always fun. Barely containing her excitement, Mariel pulled out her cauldron and set it onto the table along with the rest of her equipment. Nodding at the professor's words, Mariel rose from her seat and gestured for Sarah to follow her. Normally the young Ravenclaw would have frowned on such behavior as chatting during class time or walking about the classroom, but as the professor gave permission for a few moments, she knew it would be fine. Making her way to the middle of the room, she stopped near Nathaniel's seat. "You can sit with us at the front of the room if you like," she informed him. "The Headmaster won't bite, you know. Or are you alright at your own seat?" |
Spence got out her cauldron and some of her supplies and waited. |
Lupus carefully took out his brother's old potions tools from his satchel. The scales clunked loudly as they hit the desk and Lupus looked around timidly hoping that no one had noticed his clumsyness. |
