Lasca still smiling like a fool placed her broom with the rest and gathered her things. She walked up to Professor Vindictus and gave him a curtsy. "Thank you professor. Have a good day." She turned and walked toward the castle with a small kick in her step. |
Jack laughed "I aint a master, but I am leaving" he started to walk towards the pile of brooms "Or, should I try again?" he was doing it again, another debate with himself, Jack decided to try again, he might even win points back, hopefully, Jack jumped on the broom and started to hover, then, he started to move a little, he gained a little confidence as he didn't fall off, Jack started to move a little higher at the same speed, then he leant forward a bit more, he was picking up speed, he flew around a few more times and then he touched down, it was better than falling off his broom and crashing "Thanks professor" Jack smiled as he moved to put the broom back |
"Stupid... idiotic... ground..." Jake muttered to himself when he picked himself back off the ground after his 4th disasterous attempt at landing. He was starting to be put off by it. "No... Jake, you're the one screwing it up... FOCUS!" Jake couldn't stop his eyes from narrowing at the other people who were finishing up and leaving. Show offs... he thought to himself, realising that it really wasn't their fault they were so much better after more practice. He took off and circled again, still frustrated. WHAM! "Ouch!" Jake exclaimed, picking himself up again. He refused to leave until he'd landed properly just once. Resisting the urge to throw the broom down in anger, Jake took off again, determined. |
ARGH. Stupid, mean, landing! Cam was confident but it didn't really seem to help at all. 4 tries on the landing already and he didn't seem to improve one bit. Bleh. On the ground, he hovered again and fly around the area for a couple more times. When he felt he was ready, he put that confident look on his face again and pushed his handle downward and was heading straight to the ground now. Just when he was almost there he pulled it upwards, and gently (but still wobbling a bit) landed on the ground Well it was better than all the others I did. Feeling that he was kind of ready, he put his broom gently where the other piles were. He remembered reading something about some sort of autograph, planning to get Vindi-something's autograph sometime soon. Yeaaah... he'd do that. "Thanks, professah." He said and left the area, going back to the castle. |
Melanie hurdled toward the ground as she heard the professers voice... somehow managing to land on her behind."Oof"OFf To tell the truth she was a bit nervous at what he had to say, but when she realized they were words of praise she beamed with pride. Happy insted of nervous she picked herself up off the ground and slung her leg over the broom. She smiled with content, feeling the wind agaist her face, and flew a little wavery up about 30 feet before leaning down and flying toward the grass again. |
Ok... here we go... that is the ground... and it we re-acquaint with your feet. Easy does it... easyyyy... EASIER!!!!! "Ooofaragghurghhh!!!!!" Jake gagged at he hit the ground face-first at full force, ending up with a lovely snack of grass. "Puh!" he spat a little, swallowing some grass and wiping his lips, seeing a little red. "This is... ridiculous..." Jake muttered. He took off for the last time; whether he landed properly or not, he'd be off... maybe... |
Jack threw a sad look at the professor before walking out, like staying to try helped, he'd conquered his fear, finally, but it didn't mean he was going to fly again. |
And... dooooooown... Jake was headed for the floor, convinced he was going to land. At the last second he freaked, and closed his eyes, letting instinct take over. "NOT THE FLOOR!!!!! NOT THE FL- Oh..." Jake opened his eyes to find himself stood the same way he would before taking off. He'd landed... kinda. Okaayy... Jake dis-mounted his broom and headed over to the other brooms, laying it down carefully. "Great Lesson, sir," he smiled. "Laters, Professor..." And with that he walked from the area, to brush his teeth. Because he didn't like the taste of bugs... |
Ana heard the professor and after taking a last lap with some speed she zoomed down. good ground...let's try not to break nothing...the broom or my bones she thought. A few moments before she hit the ground she pushed the broom back. Gently she landed on. She grabbed the broom in her hand and place it next to the other. "Thanks Professor. Bye bye!" she said and ran to Melanie. |
After the last of the students landed, Vindictus gathered the school brooms and used a basic charm to march them back to the Broomshed. |
