Herminny kept circling the pitch gaining more and mor confidence in her spped and flying in general.

"Okay, Jakers, c'mon..." Jake said to himself, speeding up a tad, but slowing down when the whistling wind tried to confuse him. Brrrrrrr! Itis so cold up here!

Jake listened out for the whistle and tried to not crash into anyone. "Ack!" he gasped as a bug seemed to think his eye was a home. He wiped his face on his robes, trying to banish the blighter, and listened out.

Jack shook his head "I'm not!" he rubbed his shoulder where he'd hit it from falling off the second time, Jack took a deep breath before finally picking up the broom, he stood over it and kicked off gently, he hovered, he was good at that, it was when it came to moving that Jack had the trouble.

Herminny leaned back into her broom to land because she overheard the professor doing what she thought to be beliddling Jack so she calmly dismounted her broom and walked over to the professor and said,"It's not very nice to say you must be joking to a student, we all learn at our own pace, some slower then others".

"Ten points from Gryffindor for your cheek and leave Jack alone," Vindictus replied. "Another remark like that and you'll find yourself in detention." He looked at the others. TWEET! The shrill whistle broke the tension momentarily.

Jack sighed with relief as he managed to touch down "I still can't go around" he commented sadly

Herminny said to the professor, "thats so wrong, you have been in the wrong with me and Jack this whole class and at this point I want a detention from you, you're a bully so please by all means do what bullies do, I have lost so much today I am just fed up anyway".

Melanie glared. The professor wasn't being very kind at all. She gave Jack as well as the poor Gryffindor girl a sympathetic look as she went around the pitch. She continued to fly until she heard aloud whistle. Her broom wavered a bit in the air as the wislte blew and she dipped a bit in the air.

Melanie looked expectantly at the Professor.

Jack's eyes widened, this girl was taking his place in Hogwarts "Hey! Shut up" he advised her

Jake turned and flew down towards the ground, stalling a bit at that Gryffindor girl's words.

Nooooo!!!!! he screamed in his mind. He'll EAT US!!!!!

Jake was so horrified that he forgot to stop, and ended up falling into the ground, thankful he hadn't been going all that fast.

"Detention, young lady. Land and leave your broom with the others," Vindictus said and pointed to the other school brooms. "And not another word from you as you leave this lesson."

Cam noticed some students were talking to Vindi-something very rudely, wondering if they just made their own death-wish. He stopped with the flying as he was instructed.

Jack laughed so hard at Jake "Eat us??" he snorted

Herminny looked to Jack and said, "I am done, I know I am gonna get it but at this point I want it".

John didn't like flying that much so he decided to go slow and hope the professor wouldn't mind him going slow. He stopped when he was told to.

Jack sighed "You'd better be, I've had detention with him" Jack nodded "It's fun" he smirked

"That's another five points from Gryffindor!" Vindictus roared. "Your head of house is hearing of this! And five from Hufflepuff. Jack - you know better, so focus on the lesson!"

Jack crossed him arms "I was only trying to help" he sighed "Ok, I'm focused" he promised

John went over to his brother Jack. "Come on Jack lets leave it." He smiled. He hoped his brother would listern to him.

"Why has this suddenly become a Hufflepuff support group?" Vindictus roared. "NO TALKING. YOU MUST BE LISTENING TO MY INSTRUCTION!" His eyes were wide and his hands were on his hips. "I want everyone to fly counter-clockwise around our practice area. Go!"

Jack nodded

Jack raised a curious eyebrow at the girl

Jack swallowed "I can't sir" he told him

Jake pushed off of the ground again, oblivious to shocking Melanie. It hadn't hurt too much, though it probably looked like it.

It took a second to work out which way was counter-clockwise, but Jake followed Vindictus' instruction and ignored the support group comment. Like his housemates should do. Like they had better to. Grrrrr.

And he kept his gob firmly jammed shut for now.

MEAN PEOPLE! They were basically wasting his day with the arguments, he honestly needed to practice more with the flying. He was actually one of the few that wanted to learn. EEK. Now Vindi-something was shouting and yelling at them, quickly backing away and going back into his broom as fast as he could and tried to hover into the air again. Fly. Fly. Fly. Steer left. Fly. Fly. Fly. Steer left.

Lalalalalalaaaa.

John pushed off the ground again and started to fly anti-clockwise like the Professor instructed them to do. He enjoyed flying each time he went round he got faster. He wondered how fast he could go before he got dizzy. He was about to try when he decided that the professor probably wouldn't like him to do that, so he got so fast then just went at that speed.
