"Oh,wooooooow.You're parents live in California?That's awesome.I always wanted to go visit there,but I have to wait until I graduated to do so." She snorted. Then she saw Reese look at the door. "Don't even think about trying to get to the snack cart. Ill stick your butt to the seat if you do." She was joking, but there was still a bit of a threat there and you could tell by her tone.
She frowned. "I would,, if I had some idea where he was. I haven't seen him around since like Christmas." It was weird and she missed the kid. She wondered if Jake knew where he had gotten off to, as they seemed to be close. "Thank you," she said smiling as Reese stopped again. She sighed in relief. Quote:

Okay, so it was a family type of love, but Lima had been like a mother to him. This wasn't fair. She sniffled and then tears started to fall. She never expected him to say anything like that to her. She kissed him on the forehead again and said, "I thought that you didn't believe in love, Jake."
Yeah, so this wasn't the same kind of love that they had talked about before, but love was love. And she was surprised and touched at the same time.

Reese glared at Lima when she said she might have to stick her to the seat.No.No.No.No.NO.Nobody was going to stick her to the seat.She quickly stood up and back away from the seat,not wanting to sit down anymore,because she was scared Lima was actually going to stick her to it.Would she really do it?Hopefully,not.
Reese shot a nasty look at Jake when he agreed to the idea. "So,what if I go to the candy cart?It doesn't matter,"she told them as she inched foward to the door.Maybe she can just dash out of here.Find the cart.Annnd get more CAAAAAAAANDY.

Lima laughed as Jake told her that she should stick Reese there. She was about to tell him that it probably wouldn't be necessary when the girl got up and started to inch towards the door. "I don't think so, missy!" she said gently moving Jake off of her and then getting up and grabbing onto the Slytherin. She shoved her back into the seat, making sure not to do it too hard. Then she sent a nonverbal that made Reese's butt stick there.
She turned back to Jake and said, "I'm going to go and get us some candy, Jake. I'll be back in a few." She smiled and headed out of the compartment.

Then Charlie caught his eye.  "So, Reese," Jake said innocently. "Now your all comfortable, hows about meeting... CHARLIE!" he suddenly yelled, standing up and holding the baby tarantula riiiiight in front of Reese's face. Bwaha.

Before Reese knew it,Lima pushed her back into the chair.Hmph.She tried moving a little bit when Lima left the room,but she couldn't.OHMYGOSH.Lima actually stuck her to the chair.Not fair!She leaned back in the chair and crossed her arms.
"Charlie?Who's Ch-"Reese literally screamed when Jake held the tarantula in front of her face. "GET IT AWAY FROM MEEEEEEEEEE." She covered her face with her hands and hoped Jake would listen to her and get it away.

"Ouch, don't kick me," Jake snapped, jumping backwards out of habit. Reese hadn't really kicked, but to Jake, especially after this year, contact with foot = kick.
Unfortunately the sudden movement caused Jake to drop his hands down, and the tank hit Reese's foot. "Charlie!" Jake yelled as the tank was kicked out of his hands. Luckily enough, Jake was quick enough to catch it and quickly inspected his new pet. "YOU are the one not being nice," Jake spat, before sitting down and taking a deep breath.
"LIIIIIIIIIIMAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Miles breathed a sigh of relief as she told him it was good news. They only had one term left anf he didn't really want anything going wrong, especially with his Hufflepuff. "Yeaaaaah." He nodded, urging her to carry on, getting a little bit too excited. Miles' eyes popped out as she gave him THE letter which told her what her future would turn out like. "Oh wow!" He re-read and gave it back to her. "But... but .. when are you doing this? And what about the tour? Will I be able to see you a lot still!?" Miles began to panic a little. Hehe. | |

She ignored Reese's complaint about the candy. "Well, kick or push aside... WHY were you and Jake fighting?" Then Charlie was mentioned. "What does your pet have to do with anything?"
"But you can have some, yes. But not all of it. I might let Reese have some after all." If she behaves... With that said, she took a seat where the candy was and started helping herself.

That had certainly been an interesting little speech. Opening the compartment door, she saw Lima scolding Jake and Reese being drowned by candy, "Uh...hi?" She said, laughing slightly. The smile slipped from her face as everyone seemed to be rather...serious. "Em.." Taking a seat on the floor she closed the door, noting the place was still packed to the brim. "Hey.." She said softly to Liz, "Uh...what's going on?"

She waited until they were well out of ear shot of the others before she spoke again. "I don't have anything for you in the Prefect's compartment" she admitted and turned to look at Celandine. "I just wanted to give you an excuse to go after Cope." Kayla stopped and looked at Cela fully, "I saw the look on your face when he left and Celandine Toussaint should never have anything but a smile on her face." Blah. Celandine swallowed and looked at her feet. "I can't... go after him." She plastered a smile on her face again and pointed at herself, "I'm smiling. really. Plymouth kissed me good." She so could do the fake think just as well as any of her brothers.
But still...
"Can we just... walk around for a while maybe?" Cela still had a deathgrip on Kayla's hand, though she otherwise looked completely happy and at ease.

"Sure you can Cela, you just go to the food trolley as though you are there for the food." Kayla was about to chuckle but held it back at Celandine's forced smile. "Who are you trying to fool? I have been hanging around you Toussaint's long enough now."
Cela's pressure on her hand didn't bother her in the slightest, it was the whole act that had Kayla really worried. But she gave Celandine a smile and started back up the train's aisle. "So what are you hoping to get for your birthday?"

You know am I always here for you" she kept a firm hold on Cela's hand but did not hold it as tight as Celandine was holding hers. "I know I didn't handle things all that well at the beginning of term but I promise just to listen."
She didn't miss that it was only Copernicus' present that Cela spoke of. "Well we I am sure we can take of the clothes and shoes when we go shopping." Kayla thought about the pretty things comment, well she thought the baby tarantula she had for Cela was pretty but she supposed she could think of something else to get her as well.
