Jake held on to her not saying anything, not sure of what to say. He hated her being upset but he felt the same way, its hard to cheer someone up when you feel just as bad. So he just held her close hoping that this wasnt the last time he got a chance to do so. Finally he backed away from her so that he could look her in the eyes, but still holding her in his arms. Jake open his mouth to say something but nothing came out, he sighed looking down away from her as he felt his eyes fill with tears "this is hard" he finally said so low that he wasnt even sure if she even heard him.

"Thanks!" she said as she sat down accross from Amy and Jake. "Sorry, I'm kinda hyper right now." Chalice said. "Hey, if it's any comfort to you two. I'm sorry about what you have to go through."

"Oh, I'm totally out of it! We haven't officially met yet have we?" she asked. "Sorry. Hi, I'm Chalice. Nice to meet you." She held her hand out but didn't expect Amy to notice.

Leaning up Amy looked at Jake watching his expression and movements. She noticed his mouth open and shut that made the liquid in her eyes burn. Then when she looked up into his eyes she noticed the tears forming and she lost control. She felt her body shake in his arms and felt the liquid falling down her face like rain drops falling from the sky. She turned her face away from the other girl quickly and leaned into Jakes chest.

Kevin looked about his compartment and sighed he would maybe have to wander the train to find somebody to chat with

Jake felt her shake in his arms he looked up at her just as she leaned into him. Jake felt her tears soak his shirt but he didnt care he just held her close. He forgot Chalice for a second but quickly turn to her "Im...Im sorry this is hard for us" he told her. Jake felt his heart beating quickly in his chest as he held Amy in his arms feeling her tears "please dont cry Amy" he told her even though tears were falling from his eyes as well. Jake leaned his head on hers sighing deeply, he didnt know this was going to be so hard, he was so afraid of not seeing her again, it could happen they lost touch once and this time school wouldnt bring them back together. As this thoughts passed his mind he willed them out, more tears forming in his eyes, he wouldnt let that happen he just couldnt. "We'll see each other again, I promise Amy" he said into her hair.

"It's no problem. If anything I should feel honored to be in the presence of such love." she said. Chalice felt odd though. Here was Jake nearly crying, Amy WAS crying, and she Chalice was just sitting there. It was just too wierd, and them crying was going to make her cry. Chalice wrapped her arms around her knees and sat sideways on the seat.

Amy’s breath felt weird and unsteady even to her and her head was starting to hurt, but she could not will the tears to stop though she was trying rather hard. So instead she concentrated on her breathing, in and out slow and stead- she told herself. She knew there was more then one pair of eyes watching her as she set there through a breakdown in Jakes arms. She felt his breath against her hair as he spoke and surprisingly enough it calmed her. She took in a deep breath of air and smiled slightly as his scent filled her from head to toe. With tears still falling, only slower paced, she leaned back and looked at Jake. “I promise too,” she reach up placing a hand against his cheek that was wet with tears. The glancing over she looked at Chalice, "I am so sorry. I am okay. Its very nice to meet you."

Jake sat there holding her in his arms as she calmed down. He's mind just went balnk as he was just glad to be able to hold her. He felt Chalice there but wasnt sure what to say to her, he honestly didnt care who saw him like this but he felt bad that she had to see this. Feeling Amy move away he come back from his thoughts, he smiled when Amy place her hand on his cheek still wet from his tears "I really hope so" he said. Jake reach up and wipe away the tears that were on his cheeks "Sorry I couldnt help it, seeing you cry like that and everything" he said not even sure why he was saying it. He reached over and place his hand on her cheek, with his thumb he gently wipe away her tears, but they kept on falling but not as strong as before. He sighed and turned away and saw Chalice sitting there with her arms around her legs "we must be a sight" he said to her "sorry". Jake leaned in a gave Amy a soft kiss on her forehead "I love you" he said and leaned back looking at her in her eyes " its ok, everything gonna be ok" he nodded his head and gave her a warm smile, he felt a bit better he wasnt sure why but he did.

Amy looked back over to Jake and set very quietly for a moment still amazed that Jake had been crying. “It is okay,” she said in response when he was explaining to her why he had been crying. Nodding her head in agreement with Jakes comment she added, “I am sure we are.” Then Jake was leaning in to her and kissed her head, “I love you.” She smiled a truly pleasant smile, “I know,” she said simply leaning back into Jake as she felt the pieces come back together falling into place.

"Never be sorry for showing how you feel." Chalice said softly. "You two are beautiful. Really, seeing such love is refreshing." she said. "You are sure you're okay Amy? What about you Jake?" she looked at a rip in the knee of her pants. "I can go if you want. You should have private time." Chalice said as she got up. "I'll talk to you both soon. Enjoy your time together." And she walked into the aisle.

Skylar walked to the back of the train and looked into a compartment. the boy sitting there looked familiar but she was terrible with names.
"Is anyone sitting in here with you?" She asked. Trying to think of what his name was.

Kevin looked up at the girl and said "Nope your welcome to join me though" Kevin wouldnt mind having a bit of company for the train journey home

Jake smiled hearing her say I love you back, his tears finally stopped but he was sure his eyes still were red from crying. He held her close as she leaned into him. Looking over at Chalice he felt his cheeks turn red no ones really said something like that to them. "Thanks Chalice" he told her as she got up and left. He leaned back agaist the wall pulling Amy with him so that she was leaning on him and he on the wall " She's a nice girl, I dont think she had a crush on me so you would have liked her" he told her with a small chuckle. Jake sighed and closed his eyes " maybe we could spend some time together over the summer if you're not to busy?" he asked her.

Amy pulled herself away from Jake slightly so she could look at him. "Spend some time together," she looked at him with an expression of shock. "Are you not coming for a week. Did you not hear back from your parents. Or did they say no," she spoke quickly in a state close to hysteria.

Jake shook his head "No I did not hear back from my parents, I told you I wouldnt, but Im coming anyway" he told her quickly calming her down. "Im not sure about my siblings but Im sure that with you there they'll say yes to that since they wouldnt want to make a show". Jake didnt care what he's parents would say he was going and about his siblings he would try his best. He took a deep breath as the stress of what was waiting for him at him started to weigh down on him. "I really dont want to go home" he said mostly to himself.

Miles slid through the sliding door of the compartment and walked over to where Vannie was sat. He sat down beside and moved his arm so it was around her shoulders. "I'm ... alright, you know what it's like at the end of term." Dull and depressing. It was always like that, even in his third year, which for him, was his first year. Heheh. "What about you?"

"Yeaaah." Miles wondered if he could adopt Alan at the end of the next term, so that he could take him with him to the big wide world that would be his future. He was kind of excited, since he would be with Reese, Lima and Vannie. "I wanna go visit him a lot next term." He nodded,and began to stroke Maxxie. "Is Maxxie excited about living somewhere new?"

Amy felt herself calming down when he said he was coming. She placed her hand back up to the side of his face just below his cheek. Amy could see the flashes of worry and stress running through him and she knew why. Smirking she looked at him dead on and said, “Well then don’t.”

Jake looked at her confuse "what so you mean?" he asked her not sure where she was going with this.

"Well if you really dont want to go home you can spend summer break at my house and then head back to school when term starts again," she responded in a matter of factly tone.

Vanessa smiled as she snuggled closer to him, but made sure that Maxxie didn't object. The last thing she needed was for the kneazle to bite her, or Miles. "I'm good...looking forward to summer" She smiled as she looked up at him. She was looking forward to spending the summer with him, especially when they went to Italy. Taking one hand off Maxxie, she found Miles' hand, and squeezed it. "It should be fun." She added with a grin. Touring the world. How could it not be fun.

"We should go together," She nodded, with a smile as he began to stroke Maxxie. The kneazle made a sound like a purr, and she knew that she didn't need to worry about him biting them. "He likes you." She giggled, stroking the kneazle gentley. She had really grown attached to the little thing over the course of the term, and she was glad Professor Morgan had let them adopt them. Ooh that reminded her of something!
"Ooh!" She nodded, picking up Maxxie, and handing him to Miles carefully. "I have something to tell you." She added, whilst pulling the parchment out of her bag.

Jake leaned his head back thinking about what she asked, that would be great he would not only get to spend more time with her but he'll get away from home. A small smile crept onto his face and he began asking question after question "would you like me too?" he asked her "it would be ok with your mom and her friend" Jake said "I mean if its to long then I understand, oh you never told me are they coming too?" Jake smiled to himself his exciment clearly showing.

Amy practically jumped forward wrapping both her arms tightly around Jake. “Would I ask you if I wouldn’t want you to. Yes, they know your coming. However, they are not coming for about three weeks and they wanted me to ask you and your siblings if you would be allowed to stay that long so they could meet you- so I am sure they don’t care how long you stay.” She smiled cheerfully at Jake before leaning in to place a gentle kiss to his lips. Pulling back slightly she whispered to him. “I love you,” she said as she felt her lips brush up against his as she spoke.

Jake quickly caught himself as Amy jump forward on him keeping them from falling. " Im not sure about my siblings staying so long, put Im happy you would but up with me for that long" . Jake returned Amy kiss before feeling her say I love you into his lips "I love you too" he told her moving his lips against her. He leaned in and gave her a deep kiss, pulling back to breath when they both needed it. He looked down at her his eyes bright from the kissing and still a bit red and watery from the crying " How am I going to keep you off me all summer?" he told her with a wink "or me off you" he added quickly leaning in a giving her another quick kiss.

Elizabeth turned back to Lima from stroking Bella, as the ex-Hufflepuff spoke again. The other girl was smiling, which made Elizabeth feel better. At least that had worked. "Not really," she said in response to her question. "I mean, I guess my family'll do something for my birthday, since I'll be turning seventeen. But it's hard to plan anything, since I don't know if people will be busy." Like her father, or Jonathan. Having a military man for a parent made things uncertain, and a pro Quidditch player for a brother even more so. But she knew they'd do something. Elizabeth laughed as Lima's nexy words took her out of her momentary reverie. "I was trying to keep from thinking about those, but thanks," she then said.

As Lima answered her question about the tour, she smiled. The older girl seemed really excited. "That sounds like fun," she said. "Personally, I've only ever been to various states, England, Wales, France and Australia. And most of those were for nothing close to as exciting as a tour. But maybe I'll have to see you guys at some point while you're in the US." She had a feeling her mother wouldn't let her go traveling around too much before August or so, but as long as she stayed in the same country, it might work out.

Smiling brightly, Amy was glade to see that what she thought was going to be a horrible ride home was turning into a celebration. Smirking for a moment at Jake she said, "Well you know my mother will be there and I think she is getting better then what she was because she is the person that replied. Waiting a moment while she smiled before adding, "So it was a personal invite."
