Tobi caught sight of the daffodil and the rat and shuddered visibly. Why do people insist on bringing their pet-things along?

"Hey guys," Tobi shrugged, catching the box-o-beans, but his voice was higher than it should be. "How's it going?"

Tobi liked the company of his previous compartment except that there was SO much drama it was insane, Kettleburn and Cela, Cela and Mouth, Mouth and Kayla, heck there had briefly been rumours of Kayla and him, so then that brings him to him and Aggie, and then all he needed was for Aggie to be linked to Kettleburn and they'd have a fine mess on their hands. Anna had been there too, but she was all engaged to Newell so that kind of rules out dramatic love triangles (or hexagons) for her didn't it?

Tobi was a terribly naive person.

Maddox silently stroked her hair. He was surprised at how much Kayla was crying. This was the first time he had seen her cry as well...ever. "I know, darling. I wish I wasnt older then you, then I could stay and we could have caused mischief like we planned." He smiled and continued, "I'm sorry we never got too."

Mads frowned, and continued to look down at her face, "It wont be, but you can write to me whenever you want to, and I can come to Hogsmeade for visits. I have my interview with the Auror's next week. You never know I might be stationed there. It will work out, love. I promise." He Kissed her forehead, and then pressed his left cheek against it, and held her as tight as her could with out hurting her. He whispered, "I don't want to go either."

Lasca caught on to Sarah's plan and nodded enthusiastically. "I am. Papa will be at the station to be picking me up and we are going to Greece for two months. Which reminds me, my birthday is over the summer and I was wondering if you two wanted to come. We are going to Montana in America. Papa had purchased a ranch and has some things for surprises in store."

She looked between the two of them and smiled. It would be so fun to have her friends along. She had never been to America before and a ranch sounded fun.

"Yeah we never got to do that did we" she murmured and she took a deep shuddering breath as she tried to get her emotions back in check. Nicholai, had left to help his uncle out and she knew that she could get through that because she had Maddox around and now he was going too. Kayla didn't lose it very often but when she did it took a long time for her to settle back down.

"Hogsmeade? Yeah I guess so but that's not nearly enough" she argued lightly. Kayla held onto Maddox tighter and sighed deeply, "You're going to make an awesome Auror Maddox. Professor Kazimeriz told me I should become an Auror did you know that? And I am seriously thinking about it too." With Rosa has her grandmother, there should have been no doubt at what she should become.

Maddox had a sad smile on his face, and he felt her shakey breathing against his chest. This was going to be the hardest person he had to say goodbye too, and he knew it. "One day we will pull a massive prank on Nico, how about that?" He grinned and continued to gently stroke her hair. He hadnt realized how soft it was till then. A.D.D. much?


He chuckled and replied, "No it wont be enough until you are out of school." He smiled at her compliment. "Thank you for that, and I have always thought you would make an amazing Auror. It would be awesome to fight dark wizards by your side." He smiled at the thought and replied, "If you decide to take that route, I cannot wait." The would be bad cop worse cop for sure.

Her lips twitched into a small smile. "Do you have a death wish or something? I don't think Nicholai, is into pranks that much." Kayla closed her eyes as she felt Maddox stroke her hair.

"Working alongside would you be great Mads, we would make an awesome duo that's for sure." The more she thought about it the more she was becoming to like the idea of being an auror. "You know what I am starting to feel a little better now" she sighed contently as she held onto Mads, she wasn't willing to let go just yet. "Are you going to France at all?"

Maddox grinned evily and replied, "Maybe I do. Maybe I know that Nico takes things to seriously, and needs to lighten up a bit. And the fact that he doesnt like pranks...makes it even more alluring." He grinned maliciously and chuckled, all the while stroking her extremely soft, beautiful, blonde hair.

"Bloody hell we would be the best Auror's since Harry Potter himself! Especially with your skills love." In his head they looked like action hero's chasing down a mass break out of noisy dust pans...why dust pans? He wasnt sure. But hell they looked hot in spandex. "I'm so glad I could make you feel better." He wasnt letting go, and if she tried, he would give her a look that said, 'dont you dare move. Im not letting go, never wanted to, and never shall!'

France. Yeah...that place. "Yes, I have to check on the estate. Mum is going with me to help me with checking the book sand such. I will be staying there for about two weeks. What will you be doing this summer?"

"Yeah he does" Kayla replied softly. "But you know what his life is like and that wouldn't be easy for anyone. I try to do crazy things for him just so that he can forget for a while but they never seem to turn out the way I want" she chuckled in spite of herself. "Ah Mads, I love him to bits but sometimes I get this feeling that I am in for major heartache." And the cause of that would be one Cadence Leonard.

Kayla couldn't help it but she burst out laughing. "Harry Potter huh? Well I don't know about that, we tend to be a little more...uh not so forgiving." Oh yes her and Mads, curse now and ask questions later. Two Huffies with extremely fiery tempers...yep what a mix!!

She gave Maddox a mischevious little smile. "Oh I think France is looking pretty good right about now. That is if you don't mind me tagging along of course?"
