Class Schedule

First Class: 2/6, 2/7, 2/8

Second Class: 2/20, 2/21, 2/22

Third Class: 3/6, 3/7, 3/8

Possible Fourth Class: 3/20, 3/21, 3/22

Exams: April 7

Class 1 - Origins Of Ancient Runes

Attention All Students

The first Ancient Rune class will open on Friday February 6th and remain open until Sunday February 8th. Althought this is a preliminary class, it is open to students of all ages. Please file into the classroom on the fifth floor and find a place to sit promptly before class begins. I do not tollerate tardiness, rudeness or chatting in my classes. Please familiarize yourself with the classroom rules before attending.

Create your own runestone.

Pretend you just unearthed a runestone!
You are to write me a paper
What it is?
What runes are on it?
What do they mean or What do they say?
What drawings are on it?
Where did you unearth it from?
What condition is it in?
If you can, in addition, draw it for me.

Class 2 - Mythology Of Ancient Runes

Attention All Students

The second Ancient Rune class will open on Friday February 20th and remain open until Sunday February 22nd. This, again, is a preliminary class, and is open to students of all ages. Please file into the classroom on the fifth floor and find a place to sit promptly before class begins. I do not tolerate tardiness, rudeness or chatting in my classes. Please familiarize yourself with the classroom rules before attending.

ooc: So Verizon has been playing games with my net at home. If I don't have home internet on Friday I will postpone the class. But for now I will schedule it. FYI Less had told Celandine that the second class would be on how to make your own runes... for private reasons, that will now be covered in my THIRD class.

Assignment

Write a short play or scene, with Odin, Frigg, Freya, Thor, Baldr and Tyr characters and what you know of them. No more than one page. For the gallery, feel free to draw a painting of them or a comic... I love comics... k, so get to it, cause it's due on March 19th by 11:59pm EST.

Class 3 - Making Your Own Rune Set

Haaaaiiiiii!

The third Ancient Rune class will be lecture first (boooooring!) and then a lab... lab... labrador... Labrador retrievers are awesome puppies... Oh Class! Right.... It will be March 20 and will remain open until Sunday March 21.

Bring crayons or markers, blank paper (I prefer index cards) and skizzors. Yup! See ya in class

Assignment

3 Stone Rune Reading

Finish making your runes and then give someone a reading.
Pull three runes.
The first will be the past,
the second will be the present and
the third will be the future.
Give me your findings.

ooc: For the rune gallery, take a picture of the runes you created. Write on a piece of paper next to them "Hi Professor Lupa!" and I'll know their yours. Or put yourself in the picture.
