Sam turned as the woman walked over to them. She looked so familiar. With her witty remark, she couldnt help but chuckle. "Yeah actually. I think I hit my eye on her broom." she said, taking her hand off her eye.

She watched as she began fixing Gwen's nose. The girl knew her stuff. Then it clicked. She was the old Slytherin prefect. So she worked here now, thats cool.

Listening to the instructions she gave her about her eye, Sam nodded. "Thanks." she said, taking the meat and placing it to her eye. She would tell Vannah to do the congelo charm later.

Sam snorted as Gwen said she needed to visit the toilets. "Well the toilets it is!" she said and began walking toward the door. The door knob was in her blind spot, so it took her a second to find it. When she did find it she opened it and walked out.

Evolette sighed as she pushed the door to the waiting room open, and pulled Cale in. It was like pulling teeth. Well not really he had come willingly, but she wasn't exactly sure why he had not wanted to come at first.

She noticed a few other people in the room, but they all seemed to be busy, so Cale would have to wait his turn. "Sit down." she said, dragging him over to a seat and pushing down on his shoulder.

Wrinkling her nose, she had a thought. "Do you eh, want me to stay with you?" she asked, suddenly unsure whether she should be there, or if she should leave.

Cale sighed as he walked into the waiting room of the hospital wing. He had been trying sooooo hard not to get sent up there because of Quidditch that he had totally forgotten to be on the lookout for stupid, unnecessary injuries he could inflict on HIMSELF during the course of the school year. "Yeah, if you want to," he told her with a small smile as he sat down in the chair. He looked back down at his finger and examined the damage. Eeeeek. It was getting really swollen now!

Cassandra looked at the Slytherin girl, and in the same fashion, the Gryffidor Prefect.... Hmmm... "Prefect Newell..." she looked down at his hand, "is homework that hard you are getting injuries from it?" She said and raised an eyebrow, "What is it you have done to yourself?" She asked.

Cale looked down at his hand and let out a sigh. It would do no good to lie to her, since nurses seemed to always be able to tell when you were lying. That was probably a good thing, though, otherwise they'd be really bad at their jobs, right? "I punched a wall," he explained lamely, feeling his cheeks heat up. Evolette would probably grill him for that later. "Not like, with the knuckles of my fist, but I punched it sideways and I think I broke my pinky."

Evolette shrugged and decided to stick around with Cale. When the nurse cane out, she smiled at her, but she didn't say anything. Rolling her eyes when Cale explained what had happened. Trust a boy to hurt himself by punching a wall.

She smiled as Ella conjured a stretcher for her. She rested on it and said, "you are too kind to me. I really appreciate it." She held Ella's hand appreciatively. Then she let go and said, "well, I was walking in the courtyard towards Cayde who had been on a skateboard that her brother was holding onto. And he let go and she skated towards me. But she hit a pebble or something and she flew off the board and crashed into me, knocking me over."

Ella had pet her arms, assuringly, "That's why friends are for.." she smiled and enjoying being a grown up girl. It gives more space to act mature and help in a pretty easy way. This time byLevitation!! Lima seemed comfortable with the procedure as she was talking with her all the way to the Common Room. She replied to her, "Sounds fun, Lima. Cayde is your friend?" asked but Keeping the wand in action constantly..she dertmined for not to hit anyone.

Drago carried Piper (PtLovesJtSnow) into the waiting room and... well.. waited.

Piper looked around as she was carried into the Hospital wing again. She looked up at the Professor who was holding her and she shook her head. "Thanks again." She mumbled out, as she kept her eyes closed tightly. " I must be the first student who got beat up by a dummy." She got out, her head was killing her.

"Not the first. And besides that, I had a student earlier who managed to get beat up by the door to my office. And it was stationary."

Piper managed a small smile at the story. "Really? Well I don't feel so bad then." She muttered as she sighed a bit. "At least Professor Dumont didn't see me." She muttered to herself more than anything. Her head was hurting so badly, it was making her judgment leave a little.

"Oh?" he quirked a brow. "Professor Dumont? Strange, most are embarrassed to mess up in front of me. Likely for much different reasons."

Piper realized her mistake and she sighed a bit. "Umm. well.. you see.." She stumbled over her words as she tried to think up an explanation other than the truth. She rubbed at her head and sighed more. " Really? Why would they be afraid to mes sup in front of you?" She asked hoping to change the subject.

What was it with female students at this school? Surely the boys didn't have crushes on the teachers. Wait, Marco... nevermind. "Usually they have a good deal of respect for me and my opinions at that point, or something that could almost be considered so. Rivalries, I suppose you could say. Neither of which people are usually too proud to have problems in front of."

Piper nodded, and then instantly regretted the action as it made everything spin and a fresh wave of nausea set in. She closed her eyes tightly as she waited for it to pass, her head was aching terribly. "I can understand that, but seeing as I have never met you before, I guess I do not have those." Piper said logically. "I'm Piper Snow..4th year Gryffindor.." She added wearily. She was getting so tried.

He sighed. Was the theme of this term going to be concussions? At least he was past drownings. "Come now, stay awake. Are you new, or have you simply decided not to take Herbology during your first years?"

Piper nodded wearily, "I just transferred to Hogwarts this year, I use to live in America, and I went to school over there." She explained, she had to think hard about each word..

"Ah, I've been to America. I took a short time in my travels to study in California, Arizona, and Georgia." He helped her sit up a little, slowly, in hopes that it would help. "Where in America did you live?"

Piper opened her eyes as she felt the professor help her sit up a bit, that action made the room spin more, and she closed her eyes. "I live in California, San Francisco to be precise." She answered slowly. "I've been to Arizona, but never to Georgia. how was it?" She asked softly.

"It is very beautiful. Where I was, at least. We landed in the middle of a summer rain. The area is rather forested still, and they have a gorgeous botanical gardens."

"It sounds beautiful." Piper said smiling. "We didn't have a whole lot of Gardens in San Francisco, just in Golden Gate Park." She said as she began to feel sleepy again. "We just had the ocean." Her words were starting to slur a bit.

Chalice hobbled into the waiting room assisted by her friend Kairi. She couldn't believe that she had already broken her ankle. Oh well better get it mended. She was starting to feel pain, so she had to consentrate to keep her hair from turning black.

"Prefect Newell! I hope that wall deserved it. It must have truly offended you to get such a treatment!" She said smirking and then turned to the girl with him, then back to him. "Did it try to flirt with Prefect Greingoth? I'm sure your girlfriend was very proud that you defended her honor. Walls can be cads." Anna had been the only prefect Cassandra could tollerate last year... and that was saying a lot. She cast a non verbal episkey charm and then turned to summon a pain potion to give him. Though she held it in her hands. "Seriously. Why did the prefect punch the wall?" This was going to turn into a joke...

Cassandra turned and saw him entering the waiting room, he had a fourth year in his arms... the way he carried her, so long ago when she'd broken her ankle. Those strong arms... that scent... that velvet voice... She shook her head, trying to come back to this world. Be Professional...

"Professor Caraccio, you may set her down, I can take her from here, thank you." Though she hoped he'd stay. She said looking in the girl's eyes and testing them with her lit wand. She seemed to be dialating alright... "What happenned?"

"Please have a seat, either I or Nurse Numel will come see you." She said pointing to the red chairs. Hadn't this kid been in here already?

Piper tired to focus on the voice of the nurse above her. "I was in the dueling club." She said trying to focus, "I got stunned by a dueling dummy." She said softly. "I hit my head prretty hard, the whole room seems to be spinning." She answered as she closed her eyes.
