"I'm awesome too" Savannah grinned, using Sarah's same word to describe how she was doing. It had been long. Too long. Way. Too. Long. That was pretty much her fault, because of her constant none-stop schedule last term she had made for herself consisting of: Homework, classes, patrolling, eating, studying, sleeping. Not neccesarily in that order. "I know, it's been forever. I'm sorry!" Glancing over Gryffindor's shoulder to see the owl she was talking to, Savannah couldn't help from laugh. An owl trying to teach it's owner some owlery manners, now that was a sight.

Sky was resting on his perch, drinking water and nipping at the last scrapes of bacon that Rachel had nicked for him at breakfast.
Suddenly, he squawked loudly in fear. His best friend (Rachel) was in danger! Quickly, he flapped his wings open gracefully and flew as fast as he ever had towards the Hospital Wing, feeling sick with worry.

Sarah chuckled when Vannah used the word 'awesome'. Heehee. "Ahh, no worries. Why are you being sorry? Last term totally stinked, I don't think we had the chance to meet anyway," she nodded, smiling. Yesh. But they were back at Hogwarts.

SQUUUEEE!!

When Vannah laughed, Sarah rolled her eyes. "Really .. Owls can be very annoying, Vannah," she said, in a not but very serious voice. "Anywaaaaaay, So Hooow is it going for you? .. You are a sixth year right? Wow .."

Though Savannah giggled, Ellie clearly took Sarah's comment as an insult. With narrow beady eyes, the little elf owl flapped her wings in a frustratedly. Stopping abruptly as her owner calmly told her to, Ellie settled back down, nipping Savannah's ear affectionately. "How could you forget that?" Savannah asked, curiously. She was a year above than the Gryffindor, maybe it really wasn't a question... "Yes, I am! And scary, it is. How are you enjoying being a fifth year?"

Rachel walked into the owlery and Sky immediately flew over to her and bit her really hard on the hand. She flinched but he just stared at her with accusing eyes. She sighed, but she had expected this. Look, I'm sorry. I don't mean to be clumsy, I just am. And yes, I know I should have come to see you sooner, but I just had so much homework to do, and the letter, and James, and Hogsmeade, and Toshi... I'm so sorry, Sky.
His eyes softened a little and he said, Just don't do it again. So, Hogsmeade you say? and clicked his beak.
Rachel laughed and stroked his glistening feathers. Yes, you greedy owl, I got something for you, and with that, she took out a whole packet of owl treats, opened it and gave it to Sky.
He took it in his beak, flew up and put it in his nest in the wall. Rachel had absolute trust in him; he wouldn't eat that all in one go, and he definitely wouldn't eat the package, or whatever it is that other owls do.
Sky soared back down and landed on her shoulder, she sat down and they spent 3 or 4 hours just enjoying each others company, talking and laughing.


Just as she was about to leave, a small brown flew over to her with a letter. Sky looked a little offended at the intruder, but Rachel held him back before he could get nasty, and quickly untied the parchment. The owl flew away immediately and Sky relaxed. "You silly proud owl!" she scolded, and then opened the letter:

Rachel was speechless.

Chalice walked into the owlery. "Tourmaline." she said as her bird swooped into the window. Tourmaline nibbled her affectionately "OUCH!" she had bitten too hard and bitten through her ear. Chalice was bleeding pretty well and decided she had better go to the waiting room.

Freya scrambled her way into the building where she had witnessed Tundra flying towards, and looked around for him. Her pale eyes scanned the room before coming to rest on a very messy looking owl. Freya sighed with relief as she noticed Tundra looked frazzled, not harmed. His feathers were sticking out at odd directions, as though a fierce wind had tossed him around in the air.
She walked over towards him and allowed the bird to perch on her arm. "Went through a blizzard huh fella?" She said sweetly to the him as she sat down with the owl and began to straighten out his feathers. Freya then noticed a small piece of parchment attached to his leg, she blinked, and then took it slowly. It was a very short, hostile letter.

Freya stared at the letter, panic fluttered through her heart. She looked at the owl on her arm, his large eyes staring back at her. "Well," Freya began slowly as she straightened her coat a little, "I guess that means you can stay here with me and Anchor then." Freya raised her free arm and summoned her own owl to her, he landed heavily and nibbled at the ends of his owners hair. "It's just me and you two now, eh?" Freya said with a weak smile as she looked down to the floor, not quite knowing what else to do at the moment. 'I guess I'd better start looking for a place to live....Mother must have found out about something...'

Sarah skipped in and her owls flew in behind her,Chocolate,Snowy and Midnight fluttering round her head.As chocolate fell she held out a palm and caught the little fluffy thing in her hand. It felt like a very fluffy snitch. As she threw it back up it regained flight and settled in as Sarah skipped back out.

Sky flew towards her as soon as Rachel entered the owlery. "Hey Sky, what's up? I saw you through the window and you looked pretty flustered."
"The owl is back with a reply," Sky replied to her through their special method. She froze and her eyes slowly traveled upwards in time to see the small owl soar through the window and fly towards her. "Sky stay, I need you," she said to him as she untied the letter from the other owl.
She handed the owl a treat and showed her where to drink water. She then walked towards a bench and sat down, hands shaking. This is it.
Sky bit her ear affectionately, trying to comfort her as she slowly opened the letter and began reading.

Meredith walked into the owlery. It was really cold and she shivered. There were a lot of owls, but Meredith recognized Arkarian easily, as he was flying to her when he saw her. "Hey Arkarian" she said and stroked her owl. "It has been long, I know...but I'll visit again soon! I'm going to write a letter to Moon..for Halloween."
Meredith got some of the owl-candy-thingy's out of her pocket. "You're lucky I have some of them with me today..Here" she said and fed some of the thingy's to Arkarian.

Valentien walked up into the owlery. The cold air seemed to be enjoying it's venuture at nipping away at her nose. "Oh it's older than I thought it would be." She said with a soft pout walking into the tower with Cale. It was a bit warmer inside with the owls than out on the stair case. body heat she thought.

Eric tooked the last step before he Entered the Owlry "Why did I just say that." He thought to himself. What if he freaked her out and she didn't want to be around him anymore because she was uncomfortable.He turned to see her walk in behind him which mad him feel relieve. "Good she's still here" he thought to himself.

Eric quickly Skimmed the Shelves untill his Eyes Fell Upon his Snowy White Owl Name Lady. Softly he called to her. "Lady." The owl Opened her Big Bright Eyes which fell upon Eric's Face. "Come her Girl. Come On it's alright." He said soothingly too her and she flew down and landed right on his extended arm. "There we are." He said while rubbing her. "Sorry Haven't been up to see you lately." he said talking to the bird as if she could talk back.

He almost had forgotten Jess was there. He turned towards her. "Jess this is lady. Lady this is jess. My new friend." He started but before He knew it lady flew from his arm to Jess's Shoulder. He just smiled. "See I told you."he replied to Jess

Jessica hurried to keep up with Eric, who took quite a quick pace. Finally they got to the owlery. Jess decided not to ask anything about the boy's last statement, since for some reason he seemed to have felt bad about saying that loud.

The Huffie looked up when Eric called for Lady. "Oh, she's beautiful! A snowy owl! Barney's just a brown spectacled one." she said. Then she was surprised that Eric introduced her to Lady.
"Hey...nice to meet you, Lady!" she laughed. She had just finished her sentence when the snowy owl flew on her shoulder.
"She likes me already?" Jess asked Eric with a confused expression. "Lady, you can stay on my shoulder as long as you want, but you should really not ignore Eric. He came up here to see you! He missed you!" Jessica said, looking at Eric.

Then Barney flew down. He was quite jealous that Jessica was holding another owl. He wanted to fly back, but Jess called him: "Barney, don't be angry, boy! You're still my beloved owl!". Eventually, he landed on her other shoulder.
"I must look terribly awkward with two owls on me, don't I?" she asked Eric with a laugh.

Eric laughed as Jessica Talked to Lady. "Oh it's Quite alright. She'll miss me later." Eric said jokingly. As he saw another Owl swooped down he ducked slightly. The owl didn't seem to happy that Lady was on his owner but he came to her all the same.

Eric laughed at her next Statement. "No No, you just looked Quiet loved by owls that's all." He said with a smile. Eric decided he would relieve Barney's nerves and return lady to his shoulder. "Lady, Come Girl come on." He said to the Snowy Owl She sat stiffly for second before returningto her Owner. "So are we acting like that now huh." He said rubbing her gently with one finger. "I thought you loved me." He said playfully

He turned backs towards Jess "Owls" he replied "Can't live with them but can't live without them." he ended

"She'll miss you later?" Jessica smiled. " you're a very tolerant person, from what I see. And patient." Jess said admiringly. "Whereas I...well, let's just say I lack patience." she ended.

"Haha, quiet.." she laughed. "More like funny, similar to the amusing tapestries on the seventh floor corridor." the girl giggled. "But it's ok, I love owls too. In fact, I like many kinds of animals. That's why I wanted to help out at the Magical Creatures Hospital on the grounds. Have you already seen it?"she asked Eric.

Barney looked with superiority when Lady went to Eric. Jess scolded him: "Bad owl! Is this how you should act with other owls?!? Especially with lovely ones like Lady." Barney started to regret his behaviour.
When Eric was talking to Lady and he said "I thought you loved me." Jessica suddenly shivered. "Come on, he's not talking to you, he's talking to his owl!" a voice in her head was saying.

"You know, I really like spending time in your company. I don't feel the need to be different, I can just be myself. And everything seems fun, because we have a lot in common." she said, blushing a little.

Eric laughed at her saying he was Patience. He wasn't the calmest person in the world but he tried to stay cool. Most Of the time. "No I think it'sjust because I'm in your presence. You make me mellow for some reason." He replied to her with a small smile.

Aseric thought about her next Question he could only come up with the conclusion that he hadn't seen it. "You know what I haven't been there. I haven't even thought about going there. Maybe you can show me some time." he said as he gave lady and Owl treat out his pocket. He always kept them there.

Eric watched half amused she Scolded Barney. "It's okay Barney with a owner as Pretty as yours I'd be a little Jealous too. "He sad gently tossing an owl Treat up for the Owl to Catch.

Jess Last comment made him smile. He loved that she like being around him Because he like hanging with her. "Great Because That's exactly what I was hoping for." He replied to her Truthfully. "Your fun to be around." He added

Meredith handed her owl a few more of the owl-sweets and then said quietly to Arkarian "I have to go now, but I'll visit you again soon, okay?" She petted the owl once and then looked at her owl who flew away. Shivering, she descended the stairs to the seventh floor corridor.

The moment Kayla entered the owlery, she heard a small flapping noise and then a slight pressure on her shoulder as Cleo, dug her claws in lightly. "You always know don't you" she chuckled as she reached inside her robes pocket and pulled out a jar filled with insects. "Well I did promise you a treat when you got back, so here you go" she unscrewed the lid and pulled out a large grasshopper and gave it to Cleo.

Kayla made her way over to the window of the tower and looked down at the grounds, with Cleo still on her shoulder chomping on the grasshopper.

It was such a queer sight. The warrior prince with a miniature owl. His friend and confidant. The only girl he ever loved. The tough guy act lost on the winged creature.

Sensing someone behind her, Kayla turned around to see who it was. She was a little shocked at first, it had been two years since she had last seen and spoke to him. And their last encounter had not exactly been friendly either, if she recalled her boyfriend at the time (if you could call him that) had punched the young Prince in the mouth.

"It's been a long time Sunrider" Kayla murmured gazing at the golden haired boy in front of her. She let her gaze look him over...hmm not much of a boy anymore.

"Do I really have that effect on you? I'm surprised!" Jessica said. "In my case, no one can make me patient, I guess. I've tried to change, but it didn't work." she said hopelessly.

"I didn't know of the CoMC hospital either, but I've noticed it a few days ago. I started yesterday and I love helping those animals." Jess added. "Sure, if you want to, I'll be glad to take you there sometime." she promised.

The girl blushed as Eric said that she was pretty and he would be jealous if he were Barney. "Barn, say thank you for the owl treat!" she said firmly.

"Fun to be around? I'm glad!" she answered with a wide smile. However, she was quite confused. What did that mean? Did he really like her? She felt uncomfortable to ask him.

"Oh don't be surprised. You just have this certain... Aoura I guess." He said shrugging. He didn't know why she just made him wanna smile.

As she said she'll take him his sentence slipped out of his mouth before he could stop himself. "Okay its a date then." he replied. He didn' mean it as in a date date. He hoped she didn't think he was trying to pressure her into something. That would just be embarrasing.

Eric looked at the owl who gently gave him a soft whoot which Eric could tell it was his thanks. "Your Quiet welcom my man. Anytime." He said with a small smile. Lady gave a whoot of aggarivation. Eric laughed. "You too lady. Don't worry."

"Of course your fun to be around. You have a personality where I could never get tired of you." He replied still looking up at his snowy owl on his shoulder.

Helios. Sunrider was more a title than a last name, but he was tired of correcting people.

Time have changed them physically, but his eyes remained as old as time. Aware of her gaze, secretly hoping that she noticed he wasn't a victim of Wizards Atrophy. A condition where one let their muscles grow weak because of over reliance on a wand.

Panoptes, the miniature owl watched Kayla through those big round eyes, perhaps recognizing the girl from years past. "Still causing trouble?" Stroking the owl with his one gloved hand, the little avian cooed.

Kayla let the gaze linger a little longer than was necessary. He sure had grown over the last few years and all for the better too. Sometimes she wondered what would have happened if she hadn't lost her temper that day out by the Whomping Willow, would their relationship have grown into something else, she wasn't sure. Regardless he was still nice to look at and she smiled slyly at the thought.

Realising that he had spoken to her, Kayla looked into those eyes of his. "Me cause trouble? Come now Helios, do I look like the type to cause trouble?" she sent her owl back to her perch and leant up against the wall casually and observed him once again.

A couple animals on the prowl. Their eyes searching for answers to questions that were never asked. Memories connecting the present and past.

Leaving his beloved owl hooting on a perch, the prince stalked his way over to the female Hufflepuff. Looking down at her, he paused as if about to speak, but instead looped an arm around her waist and planted a kiss on lips he had not tasted in years.

Brief as a blink, the Greek boy excused himself from the Owlery with a final statement. "We will see eachother again."
