Celandine zoomed straight to the owlery, to settle her new and as yet nameless owl. The coolest present ever! Cela still couldn't believe that Barry had bought her an owl for her birthday, it was so nice of him. She let her owl out and stroked it happily. Gosh! She didn't even know if it was a boy owl or a girl owl. She wasn't even sure how to tell with owls!

Tomorrow...she'd find out some how and then?

Name the owl! She stroked it once more before skipping out of the owlery, yawning as she went.

Xehanna heard a noise coming from the owlery so she stepped out from the back room and noticed a girl stroking an owl. Oh hello. welcome to the Owlery. my name is Xehanna. do you need help with anything?

Diana was dying to meet her own owl,Ross.She walked into the Owlery,and looked around,at the owls.She waited for someone to help her......

Jenn walked up the long owlery steps. Panting but smiling she looked around. She saw a girl that looked pretty lost. "Do you need help?" Jenn said walking over to the girl. She noticed that it was a Hufflepuff girl. Probably a first year like her. Jenn smiled at her.

Kairi walked into the Owlery, Mitchi perched on her shoulder. She immediately flew up and found herself a nice empty spot near a window where the soft summer morning sun shined through. Kairi caught some familiar vibrations and grinned when she realised who it was, "Hey, Jenn," she said with a smile.

Mariel ran up the long stairs to the owlery at the top of the tower. She stopped to catch her breath and spotted Jenn. "Oh, hey," she said, waving. "I just needed to send a letter to my father."

Mariel looked up at the hundreds of owls all sitting on their perches before she noticed a familiar black owl. "Pandora!" Mariel called in a commanding voice and her owl flew to her arm. She tied the parchment to the owl's leg, then watched her fly out the window.

Jenn turned in surprise. "Kairi! I was hoping I would see you again!" Jenn said smiling happily. Jenn looked at Kairi's robes. "So you where sorted into Gryffindor? Congratulations!" Jenn said hugging her.


Jenn heard Mariel. "Hi!"Jenn nodded. "Ya, I was just about to do that too. Except to my family and my brother."Jenn said smiling as she thought about her brother. Jenn called down her Snowy Owl, Ocean. She attached the letter to her leg and kissed Ocean on the top of her feathery head. Ocean hooted softly. Jenn then gave Ocean alittle jump start, then watched her fly off. Oceans wings looked like silver in the light.

"Yep, I'm a Gryffie now," Kairi said, hugging Jenn back, "and I see you're a Ravenclaw," (Even robes have vibrations ) "Nice owl," she said as Ocean flew down and landed on Jenn's arm, Jenn tie the letter to the owl's leg and then watch it fly off.

Nikki walked into the owlery and scaned the room for Keeley, her snowy owl. She looked every where and couldnt find her. Nikki thought 'maybe she went out and hasnt returned yet, or maybe shes out getting a letter for me.' Nikki turned and walked out hoping at breakfast Keeley would show up.

Jenn smiled. "Yep! I'm so happy too! Of coarse, my family won't be too happy about it." Jenn says frowning.

Xehanna heard a bunch of rumble going on and noticed some students had found there owls and one that was looking around. she popped out from behind the counter and began to talk to the girl. "Hello. welcome to the owlery. I'm Xehanna but you can call me Xeh. do you need help with something?" Xeh put on her prettiest and friendliest smile.

Walking up to the owlery, Liz looks around to see if Snowy has made it yet. Spotting her, Liz calls her down.

"I'm so glad papa sent you on after I left, I didn't want to just leave you in the luggage car. This will leave you more free!" After tying a letter to her leg. Liz kisses Snowy on her head, and sends her off.

Valentine walked into the owlery. Her eyes widen at the sight of all the birds and owls. Alot of people seemed to own an owl. Little Viola's nose sniffed the air as she sat on her owner's shoulder as they both came into the tower. Valentine cranked her neck up to look at the ceiling of tower. It almost seemed to have no end. As she stood there looking around- her small bat flew happily around visiting the owls.

Chalice skipped up the steps to the owlery. " kik-kik" she clicked her toung " Tourmaline, come here baby. You want some treats." Tourmaline flew of the top of the tower and nibbled her ear with love in every clip. Chalice stroked her feathers and kissed her beautiful bird. " Here ya go girl." she cooed as she gave her pet some pumpkin bread. Tourmaline loves pumpkin bread and showed her love by a tranquil hoot. Chalice cleaned her owl's feathers. " I'll see you soon, I'm writing a letter to Roxy and will be sending it soon." she said. " Do you wanna go se Roxy, hmmm sweetie?" she asked playfully.

America flew in through one of the glass- less windows as Tasha walked over the threshold.

Hi America... I bet mum's out with Aunty Hermione and Aunt Ginny... America hooted softly and Tasha knew it was a yes.

Oh well... Guess what? I'm a Slytherin now...America clicked her beak loudly.

I know... Here... Tasha held out a handful of Owl Treats and America perched on her shoulder to eat them.

"Come here Tourmaline, I need you to deliver a letter to Roxxy." The owl swooped down and landed obediently on her owner's arm. Chalice attacted the scroll of parchment on Tourmaline's leg. "Be home soon okay?" she cuddled her bird and sent her on her mission.

Rachel huffed and puffed as she finally made it to the owlery. Smiling at everyone, she raised her head and looked for her owl. Quite quickly, she made eye contact with him and he flew over.
"Hey Sky, how're you doing? Are you getting along with the other owls? I hope you're not causing any trouble!"
Sky had been one of the feistiest, most troublesome owls in the shop. He had been born to a mother of eight eggs, him being the youngest. His mother died soon after the breeding season. He had come out as the toughest and the most problematic, but the also the handsomest owl they had.
He had trouble sleeping, was absurdly naughty, and it took years for him to become trained, but that's why Rachel loved him. He was her exact opposite, yet they where the same. When Rachel had first entered the shop, he had flown over and immediately landed on her shoulder, scaring her to death.
Once she had seen what a beauty he was, she couldn't refuse him. The shopkeepers had been very surprised at his actions, but glad that he would finally leave. They hadn't been able to sell him, even though he was a one-of-a-kind owl because of his unruly behavior. But she and Sky got on together very well, and he obeyed her most of the time.
"So Sky, how do you like Hogwarts?" she asked while stroking his soft, blinding white feathers. He nipped at her hair lovingly and told her with his eyes that he liked it very much.
This was another thing that had surprised Rachel. She had found that they could actually communicate with their eyes. She understood his emotions by looking at his eyes.
Right now, she saw love, amusement, happiness and hunger in his eyes. She laughed, "You little pig of an owl! Here, I bought some Deluxe Owl Treats for you, and a piece of bacon I nicked from breakfast."
He wolfed it down and looked at her as if to say, "Thank you. I must go fly now, to stretch my wings. I only just woke up!" She grinned and let him go. She remembered all those lovely memories of flying with him in the summer, she on her broomstick. They would chase each other around the clearing, having the time of their lives. She smiled as she watched him soar up to the high windows of the owlery. Suddenly, he turned back and nipped her fingers gently and communicated, "I love you, Rachel."
"I love you too, Sky," she whispered to him. He was her best friend, what did it matter if he was an owl?

Lisa was panting and drawing deep breaths, she had run all the way upand now she had a real bad breath. She leaned against the wall and called to her owl."Over here, Sapphire"she called. Sapphire came and sat on her shoulder. Lisa laughed and stroked Sapphire."How are you liking Hogwarts, little friend"she asked her snowy owl.

Just as Chalice entered the Owlery, Tourmaline glided through the window. "Hi girl, I was just coming to see if you were back." Chalice pet her bird affectionately. Tourmaline dropped the letter that was in her beak. "Thanks, go rest now." Tourmaline hooted greatfully and flew off to the top of the tower. Chalice took the note back to Gryffindor Tower.

"Ellie!" Savannah called softly, stepping up the last step on her way before turning to enter the owlery. The slight sunlight peeking in didn't seem to bother most of the sleeping owls; Others, she noticed, looked a tad bit annoyed. But that could also be from her coming in, too. "El, I can't stay all day. I have things to do, and you have a journey ahead of you. Now come down here please," Savannah beckon, outstretching her arm for the little grey elf owl to land on.

Garfield never left her, so Sarah knew Marie would basically attack her ungrateful owner into oblivion the moment she saw her.

All stooopid Garfield's fault.

With pockets full of crackers, the crazy one stumbled her way into the owlery. Ewww, the place stinked. And it was so early, Garfield was easily probabaly snoring peacefully in Sarah's bed- so this early was the only time, Sarah got away from the stinkin' fat cat.

And there she was, looking preetty as usual- biting her lower lip, Sarah went to the Owl carefully reaching her hand out to pet the creature but immediately recieved a bad poke. "OWW! .. Okay, Okay .. I know .. I brought you loots of treat though," she said, opening fists full of crackers and carefully putting them in front of the Owl.

Getting that letter to Mum would not be easy.

Sarah turned, however, hearing some whispering. "VANNAHH!!" Sarah beamed, squeee-ing. "Ouch, Don't bite me," she frowned but realized that her very very wise owl was pointing out that the other Owls were sleeping in.

"Err .. right, won't be loud,"

Vannah turned quickly, hearring the voice that could belong to none other than Sarah Corner. Her face lit up, beaming happily at the sight of the fifth year. She hadn't seen her in ages, "Saraaah!" Savannah spoke more softly than the girl had, keeping in mind the earliness of the day and consideration of the owl's resting.

As a reluctant elf owl swooped down and landed gracefully onto her owner's wrist, hopping gently up her arm Savannah went over to Sarah and pulled her into a hug. One armed, for the sake of Ellie perching on her shoulder. "Goodness, how are you?"

Lisa stroked Sapphire half-dreaming, thinking of the day she had gone to buy her.Lisa looks into her sapphier blue eyes. "I'll take that as a yes", Lisa said when the owl replied to her question with a happy hoot.Sapphire pecked her on the nose, and flew over to some of the other school owl. "See ya later, Saph", Lisa grinned, but the grin faded as quickly as it had come when she thought about the long journey back down.

Sarah's grin broadened seeing the girls lit up face Yey. "I am as always .. awesome," Hugging the girl back, Sarah answered. "Hooow are yoooou? I haven't seeeen you in ages," she almost complained.

.. It was true though.

When was they last time they met?

Another poke on her shoulder. "Yeaaah, I know - you too, at some crackers and shush!" Sarah said in a stern voice. Hoow were Owls so smartt these days?
