Ari nodded, that made much more sense than her reply. Always thinking of the bad stuff Ari she admonished herself before raising her hand again, "You could use it when you're alone in the dark, like a home. During a power outage for example. Instead of using Lumos, you use this spell again." Especially if you're in a Muggle area she added silently.

Again, Willow chewed on her bottom lips. Why would she use this spell if she had Lumos? the girl wondered.
"I suppose Sinistra Lumina could come in handy if for some reason you find yourself in a dangerous situation in an extremely dark place. Sort of like a forest?" Forests were always dangerous. All the animals there, and such. "And you would need the light in order to be able to see properly and make your way out of the place, while having the wand in your hand if you needed to defend yourself from something." Hmm. She would never go inside a forest. Nature was just too dangerous.
"And it could obviously apply to similar situations, of course."

Once you cast the spell, the light will stay in your hand til you clench it shut which leaves you wand free to duel, conjure something, put something together, anything you need really." Alex stated matter o factly. "Also, the light from this spell will cast light all around, as apposed to the Lumos spell, which casts only a beam of light."
"The wand motion for this spell is swish, flick and point. Swish and flick just like the Wingardieum Leviosa charm but ended with a point at your empty hand. Like this." she instructed as she demonstrated one last time. Swish, Flick and Point. "Again, you should hear a soft crackling sound when the light in conjured correctly." | |

Freya was simply impressed with herself, of course it did make the most sense, to her at least.
Doing exactly as she was instructed by her professor, Freya held out her left hand, then did a swish, flick, and point motion with her wand. She heard a very faint sound, like a fire that was burning. She knew then that she had done the spell correctly. She smiled widely to herself, and glanced around, seeing how the others were doing.
Camira had an interesting question. Freya waited for a response, writing down some notes as she continued to hold her left hand out.
