Raising her hand after a few moments, the girl said, "Does it have anything in common with Lumos, Professor? Lumina sort of reminds me of that... " And with that, the fourth year trailed off, and put her hand down.

"Most of your got it half right, Sinistra Lumina means Hand Light. The spell we are learning will allow you to create just that, a handful of light." Alex responded as she flicked her wand. With a soft crackling sound a ball of shimmering light appeared in her empty hand which she held up for the class to see. "2 points to all who said illumination."
"When might one find a spell like this useful?" she asked as she closed her hand into a fist and the light disappeared. | |
