Kayla picked up the bandages and proceeded to wrap them back around Nico's leg and the splint. She just wanted this class to end, she bit down on her tongue to stop herself from cursing out loud. Kayla made sure that the bandages were firmly in place so that they were not going to fall off but not too tight so as to cut his circulation off.

Kayla stepped back from Nicholai. "How's that?" she asked quietly as she looked at the floor so as to avoid his gaze. She was sick of fighting, the immature remarks at each other and the fact that they could not even look at each other anymore. How quickly things change, who would have thought it would end like this.

A thought struck her just then and she froze up inside. What if the intern asked Nico to practice on her. No, no, no...she wouldn't be able to handle that at all. Kayla started to think of things that would get her out of the class, a headache...no that won't do, maybe she should just throw up or something. She looked over at Nico as he watched the intern and she felt her legs start to shake slightly. Maybe he could cover up his feelings but she knew she couldn't and she could just imagine what would happen if he...Kayla felt herself blush hotly and wanted to die right there and then.

Mariel watched with amusement as Nancy laughed herself into hysteria. She didn't think it was that funny, but Nancy's laughter was quite contagious and she found herself starting to laugh again as well. Gaining her composure quickly as she was sure excessive laughter would be frowned upon in class, Mariel pulled out her wand and pointed it at Nancy's arm.

First the splint."Aidonsi Traci!" Mariel stared blankly as the too large splint she conjured fell off Nancy's arm and clattered onto the floor. "Um, I don't think that's what was supposed to happen." Mariel took a deep breath and again commanded, "Aidonsi Traci!" while pointing and flicking her wand at Nancy's arm. She smiled in satisfaction as the spell was successful this time. She "tergeo-ed" the 'wound' and then it was time for the ointment. "Your favorite part, Nancy," Mariel said with a devious grin as she twirled her wand in a circle over Nancy's arm.

Not waiting for Nancy's reaction to the cold ointment, Mariel thought she'd try to conjure the bandages as quickly as possible, but then a devious thought came to her mind as an evil grin crept over her face. Maybe she should purposely shoot the bandages at Nancy the way she did to her. Glancing up at the professor and intern at the front of the class, Mariel rethought her plan. It might be kinda funny, but probably not the best idea to do in class. Nevermind.

Mariel then swooped her wand over Nancy's arm to conjure the bandage, but it was way too small to wrap around her arm. Bigger swooping movement maybe. Mariel was starting to get a bit frustrated as she had been able to do it earlier. After a deep sigh, she tried again to much better results. Wrpping the bandage around Nancy's arm and tucking in the end, she stepped back to assess her work.

Nancy was still giggling when Mariel started practicing on her arm but stopped immediately as she was startled by the sound of something clattering onto the floor. Instinctively jumping back a bit with a small surprised shriek to keep the thing from falling onto her toes Nancy noticed that it had only been the splint Mariel had obviously been trying to cast around her arm. "Oops", she said with a little smile towards Mariel and then bent down to pick up the splint putting it onto the table next to her.

Just after Nancy had straightened up again Mariel pointed her wand at her arm again and this time the spell worked perfectly fine. The material was felt quite cold on her arm but it wasn't as bad as the thing that came right after that. The ointment. Frowning Nancy insisted on looking away from her arm as she felt the cold substance run across her arm. Ew! A shiver ran down her spine once again. Hopefully she wouldn't hurt herself that much so that someone would have to use that spell on her again. Although, she couldn't exactly be sure of that due to her clumsiness. Great.

Rolling her eyes Nancy just looked back towards Mariel to see an evil grin flash across her face. Uh-oh! What was she planning on doing? Maybe she still hadn't forgiven her at all and was now going to take her revenge? A sort of panic expression appeared on Nancy's face. What was Mariel going to do?!

Nancy was never going to find out, though, since Mariel ended up doing nothing unusual at all. Maybe she was getting a bit paranoid after all. After Mariel had finally managed to wrap the bandages around her arm Nancy raised it up into the air a bit to examine Mariel's work. "Well done, I guess." She wasn't exactly an expert or anything but it looked alright to her. "So, what now?"

And now she was pairing up with Kayla? Usually that wouldn't have bothered her, but she just didn't get why Cassandra didn't want her paired up with Nico. Great. She was going to fail now. She tried hard to think of the spells she was supposed to be using, but she couldn't remember.

She huffed in annoyance and went through her textbook until she found them. Without a word of warning, she pointed her wand at Kayla's leg.

"Aidonsi Traci." The splint that appeared was pretty pathetic, but it was a splint nonetheless. She rolled her eyes and continued.

"Antiarius Ontin." Oops. She had apparently been a bit too forceful, and as a result, her and Kayla were both covered in ointment. Lovely.

"Inurio Bani!" To her relief, the bandages that appeared were perfect. She raised her hand. "Is there a self-wrapping spell?" She really didn't feel like wrapping bandages.

She belatedly realized that she forgot Tergeo, but oh well. She didn't care. She wanted to go and take a shower. Please let class be over soon.

"Are you sure?" She asked, she had been under a lot of pressure nowadays, but sure Melinda could do it, if she had enough concentration on school rather on her life outside Hogwarts. "Alright..." She agreed and took her wand once again.

"Aidonsi Traci" Melinda casted the spell, towards Lisa's arm, and with perfection, a splint was created around the girl's arm. She smiled, happy of the way all this seemed to work out for her now.

Kayla watched with amusement as Camira worked on her leg. "Uh...nice job there Yaxley. There's no way I'll be getting any infections with you as my nurse" she gestured towards the ointment covering her leg and half her body as well.

At Nancy's question, she looked up to the front of the room. It looked like there was still more time left to the class. Turning back to Nancy, she said with a smirk, "Well, we should probably practice some more. You know, to master the spell without hitting others in the face." Mariel giggled a bit at the last part and hoped Nancy got that she was joking. Of course, Mariel knew she needed more practice herself. A fact that made her frown. She held out her arm for Nancy, looked at her pointedly, and said,"Try again."

Taking Mariel's arm she waited, though, looking up at her with a questioning look. "Or do you want to start?" Mariel had looked sort of disappointed with her work so Nancy thought that she maybe wanted to try it again right away.

She was getting along well with Nancy she thought, but it was rather dull work to keep practicing the same spells over and over again. Maybe they could do something fun after class.

After the professor's "class dismissed" Nancy turned back to Mariel again still a rather confused expression on her face. While packing her things into her bag she murmured towards the Ravenclaw girl, "What do you think? That's a strange homework-announcement, now, isn't it?" Then throwing her bag over her shoulder Nancy stood up, ready to go, as she remembered one thing. "Uhm...Mariel. I don't have an owl so could I maybe borrow yours. Just so I can owl the professor about that homework." Waiting for the girl to answer Nancy just stood there feeling a bit awkward.

Shrugging softly to herself, she bent down to pick up her bag as she heard Nancy's question. "Oh, yeah.. sure, no problem," she began distractedly. Straightening up she added, "She's one of the few black owls in the owlery and answers to Pandora. Just call for her in a firm voice and she'll come to you." She filed away her materials in her bag and slung it over her shoulder, ready to walk out of the classroom.

Waiting for Mariel to finish packing up Nancy had started to twirl a strand of her dark-blonde hair around her finger as she always did when she had no idea what else to do. "Okay, thanks." Black owl. Pandora. She had to remember those things. Maybe she should write them down? No, she was going to manage without that.

Should she go? Mariel obviously wasn't too sure what to do either so the two of them just stood there looking awkward. "Uhm..." Nancy finally said to break the uncomfortable silence between them. "So, what are you going to do now, Mariel?" She didn't look at her but over her shoulder towards the door behind her.
